Chapter 1: Meet the Smashers
The students of Smash Bros. School were going into the eighth grade. Rather than being two separate schools, this school had grades K-8 in one building. They were all being trained how to be proper fighters. However, as with all schools, there were a couple of new fighters coming in as well. There were 4 who the students met beforehand, and there were some other ones as well which the students had not met yet. At teacher meeting night, the students got the chance to meet Meta Knight, Pit, and Wario. Wario was a strong man, planning to join the football team at Smashville School, while Meta Knight and Pit were more focused on academics.
Flash-forward to the first day of school. Meta Knight had quickly befriended Marth, while Pit had made friends with Link. Wario, meanwhile, befriended the other members of the football team, such as Bowser, Ganondorf, Little Mac, and Captain Falcon. The school bully, Sonic, also showed up. His target was a small kid named Mario. He was incredibly popular, but Sonic was going to make sure that he could show that he was better. Meanwhile, Pit and Link were walking down the hall. Link stopped in the hall to talk to his siblings. One was named Toonie, and he looked like a smaller version of Link. The other was named Zelda, and was wearing school spirit wear. She was wearing glasses, and was rather quiet compared to Toonie. That said… Pit fell in love immediately.
Meanwhile, the football players were at practice, running around on the field. Coach Fox was making them do pushups, running, and several other exercises. Bowser called the first day of practice, "Pain Day." This was because they were insanely tired after this. "RUN RUN RUN! HIYAAAAA!", Coach Fox yelled. The football players(except for Wario), knew that in 2001, Coach Fox was the best player in the world. Coach Fox was incredibly strict. "So, Wario, have you ever played football before?", Little Mac asked. "Yes!", Wario replied, breathing heavily. "Although this is my first time being on a team." Coach Fox then blew his whistle, and just like that, break time was over.
Meta Knight and Marth were at Meta Knight's home, a giant ship he called the Halberd. "So your home is this giant ship?", Marth asked. "Yep.", Meta Knight said awkwardly. "It's pretty nice. Wanna play something?", Marth replied. "HECK YEAH!", Meta Knight yelled. He then took Marth up into his room where there were plenty of games. "Let's play Sonic R!", Meta Knight said. "No, let's actually watch a movie.", Marth replied. "Sonic Movie?", Meta Knight asked. "Yeah.", Marth said.
The next day, Vice Principal Geno turned on the intercom. "Students of Smashville School! Next week, we will be having a dance to celebrate the beginning of the school year." Peach smirked and remarked, "Who would want to celebrate the beginning of this school year?" Everyone then laughed. "And if you can bring a date, do it!" Zelda then blushed, while standing next to her best friend Peach. "WOAH!, ZELLIE! DO YOU LIKE SOMEBODY?", Peach yelled for the entire hallway to hear, including Pit. He then ran away into his classroom. " Zelda then grabbed Peach and took her into a corner. "Why so loud?", Zelda yelled at Peach. "I need to spread the gossip!", Peach retorted. Zelda, ignoring Peach, walked over to Ms. Samus's classroom to begin class. "She clearly likes someone! But who?", Peach whispered to herself.
Peach! Stop snooping in Zelda's business. Next chapter, Sonic will try to see how he can get on Mario's nerves.
