Everyone asks questions they shouldn't, so I get why you're here. But heed my warning:
1. Don't let anyone see you with this book.
I asked those questions I shouldn't have, too. And I found the answers, and I'm writing them down for others like you, who are curious about the same things as me. But these questions are unanswered for a reason. It's not like the knowledge is dangerous by itself, but they don't want you to know, and they're willing to kill to keep it a secret. I learnt the hard way.
So please, for the love of the Spirits, God, or even yourself, don't let anyone know you have this book.
2. Some of the things I say, the things I now know, are world-shattering.
They will challenge your sense of reality. They will destroy your sense of reality. Maybe they did for me, maybe I'm crazy—I'm not really sure anymore.
I'm not trying to stop you from learning the truth, but warning you of the dangers that come with it. There might be people who will come for your life if you read this. There will be other perils, too; some so subtle, you don't realize you've fallen victim to them until you've gone mad.
3. Be careful.
Just in general. Be careful. Make sure no one knows what you know.
4. No matter what, stay away from the Nightshades.
They will destroy you in unbearable ways if they know that you're reading this. Take my word for it. If you realize the Nightshades are after you, kill yourself.
It will be more merciful than what is to come.
