Summary: What happens if Voldemort had accepted his muggle side instead of renouncing it? Scary Voldemort who uses mundane stuff mixed with magic

AN: This is my first story. It is a one-shot, though if I get better at writing I could take the premise and make a new story. I am twisting timelines a bit so that Harry Potter and the philosopher's stone occurs in 1985, instead of the 1990s

Voldemort was having a great time on his raid. He was merrily going around AK-ing and Crucio-ing any filthy muggle and mudblood he saw. When suddenly his world went black. Waking up, he Crucio-ed the Death Eater asking him about his health. The never of him to question his health. His Health! He used Legimancy on the fool, wishing to figure out which blasted Auror got him. He had his money on the menace Moody. But what he saw startled him. it was a mudblood showing a metal ball at him which exploded. It reminded him of his early years so he figured out that it was a grenade.

The grenade opened his eyes to how vulnerable he was. Why, if he had not done all of his rituals, he would have definitely died. Maybe it was time to use one of his hidden time chambers. The time chamber slowed time in its vicinity down to a 1:1440 ratio, that is a day passed in the chamber while only a minute passed in the real world. it was definitely one of his better creations. He sent all of his Death Eaters on a raid while he went and stole, ahem I mean persuaded the owners to part with every book on every muggle subject he could get his hands on.

While his Death Eaters were away, he became an expert on muggle war strategies and science. The first job to do was to get a subscription to one of the muggle newspapers, secondly, he needed to hide his recently created goblet Horcrux. He was going to give it to Bella to store in her Gringotts Vault, but surely there are better places to hide it. Nobody would expect him to hide his Horcrux in one of the muggle's vaults now, will they?

August 30 1997

After waking up, he saw the headline on the muggle newspaper " 2nd Voyager launch to be conducted on 5th September!". He, being the genius that he was, immediately spotted the opportunity to attach his goblet to the muggle satellite. After all, a shrinking charm and a sticking charm should easily anchor it to the Voyager now wouldn't it? And it would go on until it reached either a star or a black hole, both of which could do nothing to a Horcrux but would surely serve as a pretty impressive defence against other people

After liberal uses of Imperio, Legimancy, and compulsion charms on the concerned personnel, he managed to sneak in and attach his goblet to the Voyager.
