Chapter One: Can't Decide

"Hey guys. Oh! Something was caught in my throat." Baljeet says as he and Alexis walk into Phineas and Ferb's room.

"Still haven't decided yet huh?" Alexis asks.

"Workin' on it." Phineas says.

"I was just giving Buford some pointers on collegiate life. Since I've already graduated and have been accepted as a professor I could pull some strings and get him into my school. Just think Buford. You could be my student! I would be the boss of you!" Baljeet says as Buford comes over eating a sandwich.

"Don't get too excited. I'm goin' to film school. I'm concentratin' on tragedies. The story of a struggling orphan's transcendental search for meaning in a post-apocalyptic society." Buford says.

"It sounds pretentious." Baljeet says.

"Thank you." Buford says.

"So Ferb you're off to school in England?" Alexis asks.

"Yeah. He's going to Camford on Oxbury. Heh heh! Camford on Oxbury. It sounds like a wizard school." Phineas says.

"It's not a wizard school. Well there is some wizarding." Ferb says.

"Phineas why don't you just go there?" Baljeet asks.

"Or why not go where Candace goes to school?" Buford asks.

"Yeah I don't know if Candace's school is the place for me. Forget the booth. I'm gonna go with my gut. It's between these two. Danville U and Tri-State State. Both really good schools. Looks like I have some thinkin' to do." Phineas says as he holds two envelopes.

"Phineas just choose from the heart. It's what I'm doing. I'm going to a school for art and dance. Both something I love." Alexis says.

*Timeskip*

"So I heard isabella is off to Tri-State State." Baljeet says as the group is in the kitchen.

"Oh wow really? Huh. Haven't seen much of her this summer." Phineas says.

"Why do parents buy such weird food? Everything's lite, low, non, free, or diet." Buford says as he opens the fridge.

"Maybe because it's their fridge." Alexis says as Buford looks at her.

"So she's...leaving?" Phineas asks.

"Yes. Huh I always thought the two of you would end up together." Baljeet says.

"Like a couple others I know." Buford says as Alexis gives a nervous look.

"What?" Baljeet asks.

"Uh nothing! Nothing." Alexis says as she chuckles nervously.

"I wish. I am so in the friend zone there." Phineas says.

"You are kidding right? You do know she had a giant crush on you for ages." Baljeet says.

"Uh...no..." Phineas says.

"Oh come on! It was so obvious! She came over to your house every day for eleven years just to see what you were doin'!" Buford says.

"When she looked at you her pupils actually formed little hearts. Like I do not know how that is physically possible. She changed her eyeballs!" Baljeet says.

"Well when you care about someone anything is possible." Alexis says.

"We— I don't believe it. Ferb? Well why didn't you guys ever tell me?" Phineas asks.

"We are guys. We do not talk about feelings. That's more a girl thing." Baljeet says.

"Excuse me? That better not have been meant to come out how I thought it came out." Alexis says as she gives an annoyed look to Baljeet.

"Uh.. Did you see the new car Irving got?" Baljeet asks nervously.

"Smart boy. Change the subject." Alexis says annoyedly.

"Could we eat yet? I'm starvin'." Buford asks.

"Um I'm sorry. I feel like my brain is broken. I-I gotta think. I'm gonna take a walk. See ya guys." Phineas says as he leaves.

"Hmm...maybe it is not too late. We should try to get them together. You know, before Isabella leaves for school." Baljeet says.

"Yeah all right." Buford says.

"Guess it's time we called the others then." Alexis says.
