Chapter 1:

1st A/N: So for everyone wondering this side project of mine has become a main project which is why I haven't been able to focus on my other stories, but don't worry! I have time management now so I can focus on all my fics at once, no story will be left to rot!

A/N: Takes place a little after WILW and AOAW doesn't happen in this story.
Amity Blight was on her way to the library, the day was decent so far, not too much work from Hexside, 'You stopped Boscha from picking on Willow again so that was a plus!' she told herself to try and feel better.
Amity still felt guilty, even after Willow had forgiven her time and time again she still felt too weak for not standing up to her parents.
Amity shook off the thought as she arrived at the library, the only safe space she had.
Amity was trying to reach for the doorknob when she saw a face she knew all too well.
"Hi Amity!" Luz said with a smile.
Amity let out a yelp and fell backwards with a beet-red face.
"Lu-Luz! W-what are y-you d-doing here?" Amity stuttered.
Luz, oblivious to the young witch's embarrassment, helped her up "Don't you remember? You said we were going to read to the kids today, Eda even dropped me off!" Luz said enthusiastically while pointing to the older witch behind her.
"When did I say this?!" Amity accidently asked out loud.
Luz thought about it for a minute, "Well you were in a different room, but while I was in plant class Willow said that you told her this!" Luz remembered.
Any regret Amity felt for Willow was immediately washed over with embarrassed anger, ever since Amity told Willow about her crush on Luz, Willow would do little things to try and get them together, she even once texted her a ship name for them for Titans' sake!
Amity took a deep breath, "Are you sure you want to read to the kids? If anything it's just plain boring!" Amity said weakly trying to convince her to not be with her.
Luz however beamed at this "Are you kidding?! I love kids, it'll be fun! Plus it gives me a chance to make up after the 'Library Incident' from a while back." Luz said rubbing the back of her neck sheepishly.
Amity sighed in defeat "Alright, but I don't think your mentor is allowed." Amity said pointing to Eda who at this point was so bored she was about to throw Griffen Eggs at the library.
"Uhh Eda, not to be rude or anything but..." Luz started.
"Say no more kiddo, I am out of here!" Eda said happily as she tried to take flight on her staff.
Strangely enough as she started too get off the ground her staff failed and she fell face-first onto the ground.
"What gives Owlbert?!" Eda said to her Owl Palisman.
"Edalyn Clawthorne!" A cloaked figure said.
Eda got her staff ready to attack just in case.
The figure took off their hood to reveal an elderly male witch, a confused Eda stood there "Do I owe you money or something?" Eda asked.
Amity knew who it was "It's the librarian." Amity said just as confused.
The librarian nodded "Yes Edalyn I am the head of this library, and you owe this library a lot of overdue fines." The librarian said in annoyance.
Eda laughed a little nervously and tried to run but ran into a magical barrier.
"What gives?!" Eda asked frustrated.
The librarian gave an amused smile "Sorry Edalyn, those with overdue fines are forced to stay until fine completion, I'm afraid you'll have to come with me." The librarian said.
"Ah farts, alright kids you go do whatever fun shenanigans you plan to do, if you do get in trouble save some for me! I'll be back, byeee!" Eda said putting on a smile so Luz didn't get worried.
"Bye Eda!" Luz said worried as she began to walk off with Amity.
As Eda looked back she let out a sneeze which disgusted the librarian, 'Dang dusty books.' Eda thought as she walked with the librarian.
(SCENE CHANGE)
Luz was worried "What if Eda doesn't come back? What am I going to tell King and Hooty?" she asked herself aloud unaware Amity was listening.
Amity hated seeing Luz like this, she was so used to seeing the overly-optimistic Luz Noceda, not this new worried Luz.
Then an idea popped in her head.
Amity dug around in her bag she brought and found what she was looking for.
"Hey Luz" Amity said trying to get Luz's attention.
Luz looked up breaking out of her downward spiral.
"I know it's not the best time but the kids will come in a few minutes, so I brought this for you." Amity said showing her a book.
But it wasn't just any book, it was Luz's all-time favorite book.
Luz gasped at this "The Good Witch Azura Five?! The Deadly Fates Of Lucitorius Part Two Volume Three?!" Luz squealed in excitement.
"I remembered how much you liked it." Amity said honestly with a smile.
"Thank you Amity! Thank you!" Luz said hugging Amity.
Amity struggling not to panic briefly returned the hug, "Alright Luz we should get ready for the kids." Amity said
Luz, completely forgetting about her worries agreed, "Okay!" Luz said starting to set up the room.
(SCENE CHANGE)
Eda had let out yet another sneeze, at this point the librarian had put a magic bubble around himself just in case.
"And this is all of my fines?!" Eda asked looking at a book that took up the space of an entire bookshelf wall.
"No Edalyn, this is just the first page." The librarian said in annoyance.
Eda started shivering a bit "Well can you at least turn up the heat in here? It's really cold" Eda said starting to rub her arms.
The librarian checked his compact mirror in shock "Edalyn it's 75 degrees in here!" The librarian said in shock.
Now Eda was really starting to worry, she was hoping this was just paranoia but the thought plagued the back of her mind 'Is this part of the curse?' She thought as she began to look at the what seemed like endless amount of fines.
(SCENE CHANGE)
"You'll never defeat me foolish children!" Amity read in a mock-villain voice.
"Do not underestimate us Lucitorius! For together I, The Good Witch Azura and my best friend the Noble Sorceress Hecate shall defeat you, and restore balance to the multiverse! Now eat this sucka!" Luz read in her most heroic voice.
The children looked on engrossed into the story.
"No, I have been defeated, but with my last strength I cast a love spell, to tear your friendship apart!" Amity read and let out an evil cackle which scared Luz a bit.
"Oh I feel the spell attack me! Hecate, have you always looked this beautiful?" Luz asked stroking a piece of Amity's hair.
Amity's face became as red as a tomato and it took so much effort not to scream, then a horrifying realization dawned on her 'Luz loves to roleplay her stories!' Amity realized.
Then another horrifying realization dawned on her, this was Luz's favorite book because Azura and Hecate get together, and right now Luz is Azura and she is Hecate! 'Oh Titan this is going to be a long day!" Amity thought in horror as he prepared to keep reading.
(SCENE CHANGE)
Eda at this point was having to use some spare books to hold herself up because she was so dizzy.
The librarian noticed this "Um, Edalyn are you feeling quite alright? The librarian asked concerned.
"What?! What are you talking about? Look at me! Picture of health!" Eda slurred as she fell off her pile of books.
"Edalyn are you sure your feeling alright?" The librarian asked once more.
"Ahh, nothing a little Apple Blood can't fix!" Eda said attempting to stand as if she were drunk.
The librarian let out an annoyed sigh "Alright we don't normally do this but I'll let you go home early." The librarian said helping her up.
"Woo Hoo! No more reading!" Eda slurred.
"Lets go find your apprentice." The librarian said helping her out of the door.
(SCENE CHANGE)
"And now with this magic wand and Dragon's scale, I remove the curse!" Amity read hoping to end any further embarrassment fast.
"Oh Hecate, even with the spell removed I have the confidence to tell you my feelings are real! I love you Hecate!" Luz read getting closer.
"I-I Love y-you to A-Azura." Amity stuttered turning red.
"And now let us seal our new relationship with a kiss!" Luz read inching even closer to Amity.
'What?!' Amity thought completely forgetting about this scene in the book.
Luz got closer inches away from Amity's face, Amity became beet-red again, she didn't know what to do!
The kids were grossed out at the affection in the story, Amity nervously tried to lean in.
"Woo Hoo! Kiss her Hecate!" a what-seemed like drunken Eda said.
This outburst caused Amity to nervously yelp and Luz to not fulfil the kiss.
"Sorry Amity, I just really get into the stories sometimes!" Luz said with a little blush on her face.
"Alright reading time is over kids." The librarian said as the children left the room.
"Sorry to interrupt you but something's wrong with your mentor." The Librarian said while Eda's head leaned on his shoulder.
"How long has she been like this?" Luz asked concerned.
"Almost an hour, please take her home." The Librarian said annoyed as he left.
"Uh Amity, do you wanna come back to the Owl House with us?" Luz asked taking Eda's hand so she didn't wander away.
"S-sure!" Amity struggled to say after this long embarrassing day.
"Alright Eda let's get you home." Luz said trying to get her out the door.
"What are you talking about?... I'm... Fine..." Eda tried to say as she fell to the ground
"EDA!" Was the last thing Eda heard from Luz as her world faded to black.
