Ahem: a collection of stories from my older sister's birthday last year that I am now posting individually.
Rules: I shall put my music library on shuffle and pair her top 10 ships with the first 10 songs. Each ship gets a story related to the song with decreasing times: ship #1 gets 10 min., ship #2 gets 9 min., ship #3 gets 8 min., etc. So ship #10 is a hot mess 1 min. panic attack.
You don't HAVE to listen to the song first...but you might want to. And author's notes are bolded.
10. SusanxDr. Cockroach (Monsters vs. Aliens) - "Fireflies" by Owl City - 1 min. timer
Ok I'm pretty sure I saw this movie once when I was like four, but 1000th Ghost has a special place in her heart for it, apparently. All things considered, this one might honestly be my favorite, lol.
"Susan! Grab a ray gun! Fireflies are attacking civilians!" Dr. Cockroach shouted.
"Help! They're trying to teach me how to dance!" she screamed back.
Then the blue guy, Blob or something, came and absorbed all of the bugs.
Dr. Cockroach in all of his infinite Britishness winked at Susan, "You know, if you still want to learn how to dance, I've got a PhD."
Please tell me that he actually has a PhD in dance because I don't know where else I could have pulled that from, haha.
Welp, that was an experience if ever I've experienced anything. Happy Birthday, 1000th Ghost! Love youuuu. Mwah.
