Serenity ran to the kitchens, her long blonde hair flying behind her. She stopped at the kitchen portrait, gasping for air. Tonks was always the one who could actually keep up the pace. She wiped her eyes, making sure all the tear tracks were gone and she checked around and tickled the pear. The Pear laughed.

Serenity shook her head and went inside. When she got inside, she was surprised to see Annabelle Vance already there. She waved and Anna waved back before she grabbed a tub of mint chocolate chip ice cream and tossed it to her. Serenity caught it in her left hand and she grabbed a spoon. She served herself and Anna some of it and she sat down, fluffing her blue robes. She sat down and twirled the spoon into her bowl. Though it was only 7:30, she was really tired. She yawned and turned her head as two other people came through the door frame. She stretched and looked at the other people. The girl she met earlier today, Jennifer Wood, looked tired and worn, her green eyes flickering open and close, her brown hair in a messy ponytail. Matthew Vance, Anna's brother, never looked worse. His black hair was messed up, but he still had a smile on his face.

Serenity looked around, she turned to Jennifer.

"Where's Charlie?" Jen smirked and laughed, despite her tired condition.

"He got by Flich when coming here, now he has detention!" She said gleefully, her green eyes lighting up with mirth. Serenity shook her head and offered the others some ice cream. Then they started talking.

Tonks groaned as she went outside. Today had gone a bit better, but now, she needed to practice. Even though she was pretty clumsy, she could still fly. And she needed to practice, considering that she was the Seeker on the Hufflepuff Quidditch team. She sighed and mounted her broomstick and she shot into the air, the wind blowing into her ears. She stopped at the top level of the Whomping Willow. She sighed as she looked at the sky. It was cloudy and gloomy outside, and so was Tonks' mood. She sighed and started doing flips in the air.

"NYMPHADORA!" Tonks jerked and she looked down, shocked. That person could scream. She went to the ground and slapped her forehead. Of course. Only he would dare...

"Hey, Nymphadora!" Cedric Diggory said smugly. Tonks groaned for the 2nd time of the day and she looked at Cedric. His dark hair was windswept and his bright grey eyes were shining up at her. He smirked and Tonks closed her eyes. She couldn't believe her luck.

It wasn't that she didn't like Diggory, she did. And he was nice to everyone in school, even when they weren't as hospitable to him. He always teased her. Of course, he was a few years younger than her, just starting his 2nd year, but they had grown up like brother and sister, always together. Cedric was always up for annoying Tonks, so that's why he was a Hufflepuff. Otherwise, he could have been a Ravenclaw or a Gryffindor. Hufflepuff suited him though, at least in Tonks' opinion.

"Hey, Diggory!" Tonks said, faking false cheerfulness. She actually was happy to see Cedric, just a little. But she couldn't let him know that. He would be annoying her for the rest of her days.

"Do you want to fly?" He asked mounting his broom and taking off and spinning. Tonks rolled her eyes. Show off. She got on her broom and followed him.

"Hey, do you want to do Seeker duels Diggory?" Tonks asked slyly, her blue eyes filled with laughter. Cedric looped up and tossed the closed Snitch to Tonks. Tonks opened the Snitch and tossed it, waiting a few seconds. She grinned and turned to Cedric.

"Ready Ced?" Cedric smirked and nodded, they both counted down.

"3! 2! 1! GO!" Then they both flew off. Tonks circled the area, her blue eyes scanning the skies. She tossed her hair and squinted as she saw Cedric chase after something. She flew after him, making sure to cut him off and grab the Snitch, holding it high above her head. She laughed as Cedric landed, pouting at her. They both laid down on the freshly cut grass.

"So Nym, why are you so manky?" Tonks looked at him, offended and said with ease,

"I am not Ced!" Cedric looked at her and rolled his shimmering eyes,

"Don't be daft Nymphadora, we've all seen you moping around."

Tonks blinked twice. She was gobsmacked. She finally threw her head back and laughed,

"Don't be such a stupid sod Ced, fancy a cuppa?" Cedric turned to her and smirked,

"Where's the tea?" Tonks looked around and she sighed. She really didn't want to get up from her comfy place on the ground, though she was wishing she had a cup of Earl Grey with her.

"Never mind." Tonks then looked at the clouds, trying to figure out what they looked like. But in the inside, she was thinking. She was really bored, and she needed to get revenge on her friends. They had done a wrong. Only one word summed it up.

Karma.

"Nym?" Cedric questioned, interrupting her thinking, his voice getting a grainy edge to it. Tonks shook her head and replied,

"Yeah?"

"I think I know what you can do to your friends." Tonks sat up, shocked. Ced knew what happened between her friends and her? What was going on in that devious mind of Cedric Diggory. Tonks had never seen Ced look this cunning in her life, and she had known him since she was 5 years old, tripping over her dress robes and making her hair turn bright pink.

"Do what you do best Nymphadora. Prank them." And for once, Tonks didn't yell at him for calling her Nymphadora.
