Tonks laid down, motionless, staring at the wall. Her leg was still broken, even worse than before. It burned if Tonks were to move, so that's why she was laid down.

Not moving.

This was so boring! Why couldn't Madam Pomfrey let her go? She had already fixed it, though it still hurt. Tonks pink hair shifted to a dark blue colour and she closed her eyes, making them grey. Her attention was drawn to the door when it opened. She squinted, trying to make out what was happening.

"Oh, please Madam Pomfrey! I need to know whether she's alright!" Tonks looked and was surprised to see a flash of red hair. She got up, ignoring the pain in her leg and watched curiously as Madam Pomfrey and the unknown person talked.

"Mr Weasley! Nymphadora is resting! Please come by later! It is very late" Tonks' snorted. Late? It was only 6 in the evening. Suddenly, the mysterious person ran into the room and stopped at Tonks' bed, sitting on a chair.

Tonks smirked at her best friend, hiding her shock. She didn't think Charlie would come and visit.

"Wotcher Charles." Charlie smiled, his brown eyes scanning her,

"Hey, Tonks." Tonks shook her head, delighted but unsurprised by the concern in his voice. Even though they weren't on speaking terms Charlie still was the kind individual she had met all those years ago.

"Honestly, I'm fine Weasley. Don't you have something better to do?" Tonks hadn't intended for it to come out meanly, but Charlie's eyes had dropped and a sad smile had graced his face. Tonks immediately felt bad but stayed silent, unsure how to reword her statement.

"Actually." Charlie started, rubbing the back of his neck. "I came here to say something." Tonks looked at him expectantly and Charlie looked away, his cheeks getting warm. Tonks very soon got annoyed with Charlie's lack of speech and she spoke up, her annoyance clear in her voice,

"Speak up Charles, you're quieter than a cat on a rainy day." Charlie rolled his eyes and sat down next to Tonks taking her slight hand in his thick one. He started quietly, getting louder as he talked on.

"Tonks, I came here to apologize. You didn't deserve what I did to you. It was selfish and mean. It was even worse when we started ignoring you. So, I'm sorry. I hope you can accept one day." Charlie then got up, releasing Tonks' hand. Tonks suddenly grabbed on to him, pulling him down. She wrapped her arms around him, her hair turning bright pink.

"Thank you so much, Charlie." She said softly, tears running down her cheeks. Finally. She finally had all her friends back. She had Matthew, her slightly over-analytical friend. He was always stuffed to the brim with facts.

She had Jennifer. Her bold as brass friend, always having a tip or two about flying, having competitions with Charlie on who was the best flyer.

She had Anna. Her daring personality and temper that no one could match, except, perhaps, Tonks.

She had Serenity, her friend from many years ago, knowing exactly what Tonks needs and how to help. She was amazing, she was.

And finally, she had her best friend. The best friend she could ever hope for, Charlie. His caring and antagonistic ways always making her laugh. She loved him, a lot. Like a brother, of course, she meant, It would be so weird to have a crush on your best friend!

She let go of Charlie and they both laid down. Finally. She finally had her friends back. Finally.

She turned over and closed her eyes, finding peace in the land of dreams. Tonks thought finally was her new favourite word. It showed all her struggles and, of course, her victories. Finally.

She was finally there.
