Tonks smirked as she stopped outside the door of the Potions Classroom. She couldn't believe what she was about to do. Of all things Bill could have asked for, he asked for this. He was insane! She was going to lose so many house points, but if it worked, it would be work it. She looked down at her attire, she was wearing a button down white undershirt, black slacks, and a black over coat. Though, it hardly mattered, considering she was wearing a long black robe. It was even covering her shoes, which, incidentally, were also black.
The hardest part though, was the hair. Tonks' hair was black and it hung from her head, straight, but somehow, it still looked like a mop. No this would not do! She ran her fingers through her limp black hair, growing it out and ending it at her shoulder. It was a little longer than it should have been, but it would help her get into character. She still couldn't believe that she had agreed to this. She was going to be murdered in bed. And Hufflepuff would lose their streak for house cup, making Slytherin the lead. She pursed her lips, making her skin more sallow. Her nose grew 3 times its size. It was now hooked and looked like it had been broken many times. She sighed, here goes nothing...
She stormed into the classroom, making sure everyone could see just how 'angry' she was and stopped at the front of the classroom. She glared at everyone, her newly found black eyes wide with annoyance. Oh, Tonks knew she was a good actor. All Metmorphmagus' were. Or, if Tonks actually knew any, she would guess that they were. She hid her emotions behind non visible mask. Oh, if Bill could see her now...
Tonks shook her head, mentally of course and started speaking to the class, trying to imitate her Potions Masters soft, silky voice, if she was allowed to judge herself, she would have given herself an E for Effort. It was clear that she wasn't the Potions Master, but someone else, but the student, or, well, her classmates, were already struck with fear that they didn't notice Tonks' attitude. She looked around and started to speak, trying the best that she could.
"Look at the board, as it has all the directions you would ever want. Starting now!" She whipped towards the board and started to write, her handwriting drastically different from Snape's. But of course, the students were much too scared to actually notice such a small detail. Her hand shook as she wrote, knowing she would never get a chance like this again.
Tonks finished writing. She took a step back and admired her work. Her handwriting was actually pretty good then you would have thought it to be. She closed her eyes. No, she could not get distracted, she had a job to do. Oh, she was so getting revenge on Bill Weasley!
She stalked over to Matthew, hovering over his work station. He was supposed to be doing this project with herself, but since she was doing, well, this, she couldn't help Matt. After all, it wasn't possible to be in two places at once. Well, unless you, for some odd reason, had a time turner. She started talking in a low, dangerous voice, mentally apologizing to Matt.
"Vance!" She snapped, mentally wincing as Matt fliched at her tone, but she couldn't stop now, not when she was so close to completing her task. She tsked as Matt accidently added too many porcupine quills, making his potions turn into a orangish colour. Oh Merlin, that wasn't going to end well. She sighed and started to speak in a deadly whisper that was even worse than a shout,
"What, In Merlin's name, is this Vance? Can't simple instructions ever go into your head?" She hated doing this to her friend, but she could always blame Bill. Matthew whimpered in fear and Serenity glared at Tonks. Tonks looked away and went over to different to stations, looking over everyone work. Some people were really bad at Potions...
She finally stopped at Anna's table, looking down at her work. It was horrible, no offence to her of course, but her work and potion...
It made Tonks sick.
She sneered and looked down at Anna, figuratively and literally. She said, her voice hiding a smirk,
"Just as bad as your brother Miss Vance, perhaps, you just might, need to start over?" She smirked and waved her hand over the cauldron, making anything in it disappear. Really, she wasn't being mean, Anna really needed it, she was helping Anna get an 'A' instead of a most certainly 'D'. Anna glared at her and Tonks looked away, suddenly feeling giddy. She stood at the front of the classroom, ready to have some fun. Oh, Snape was going to kill her, but who really cared anyway? She grinned, most of her classmates exchanged glances with each other, what is wrong with their most hated Professor?
Tonks stood at the front and put her hands on her hips, looking insane, at least as she was Snape. She laughed and started her speech,
"Hey everyone!" Most of the students looked at Tonks in shock, mostly because of the informality. "As you know, I'm you're Professor, Severus Snape and I teach Potions, the best subject in the world! Apart from Astronomy of course!" Tonks said enthusiastically, her grin lighting up her metamorphed black eyes. The students again looked at each other, something was definitely wrong with their teacher. Most of them had believed that the Professor's favourite subject was indeed Defense against the Dark Arts, as he had applied every single year. Some, of course, were truly naive to believe that the Professor's favourite subject was Potions. As if.
Suddenly, the whole room got silent, it was as if they could see something Tonks couldn't. Then, Tonks realised, they probably did see something she didn't. She was about to turn around when someone spoke softly,
"Miss Nymphadora?" Tonks gulped and turned around, meeting the furious eyes of her Potions Professor. He came forward and waved his hand. She was now dressed as she usually was, Hufflepuff robes and bright pink hair. He rolled his eyes, still angry, and made her hair into her normal shade of mousy brown. Snape looked her in the eye, his black ones meeting her bright blue orbs. He grabbed the sleeve of her robes and pushed her in the general direction.
"150 points from Hufflepuff Nymphadora, for disrespecting a Professor. And dentention, with me, Saturday." Tonks went to her seat and grinned despite herself.
All in all, it was just a normal day in Potions.
