A/N: What's up everyone! Got another story! This one is a triple crossover story with The Owl House, Dead Rising and Ben 10! It serves as a conclusion to my Alien Rising story. This story takes place after the Alien Rising story as I said earlier, the Witches and Cryptids and Boiling Witch Trials Story, after the Ben 10:Secret of the Omnitrix movie and after the end of Season 1 of the Owl House. You'll only need to know a little bit about what's going on in the Alien Rising story than the other stories to know how this happened. Some of the events that happened there will be talked about in this story, but its definitely best if you read the story if you want the full details.
Without further ado, let's get on with the story!
7:10 PM(17 Hours Until Next Zombrex Dose is Needed for Frank)
"This is all your fault!" Gwen and Charmcaster said together, each holding one halve of a book.
"My fault!?" They said together again.
"If you hadn't casted that stupid spell, we wouldn't be… wherever we are to begin with!" Gwen said.
"Well if you would have let go of the book I probably would have been able to send all of us back home!" Charmcaster said.
"Oh yeah, like you totally would have done that. I forgot that Charmcaster's such a good person!" Gwen said.
"Well, who else would have done it? Are there any other master spellcasters here?"
"Says the girl who couldn't even pick up the staff of ages."
"So what? I'm a better spellcaster than you'll ever be, princess!"
"Oh yeah?!"
"Yeah!"
"Yeah?"
"Yeah!"
Their hands glowed with magic. Charmcaster purple and Gwen's blue. "Let's see who the best spellcaster is then!" Gwen said.
"I couldn't…. agree….more!" Charmcaster said.
Ben gets in between the two and goes as far as erupting crystals out of the ground to trap them to make sure. "Hey! Stop it you two! Arguing isn't going to get us any closer to finding a way out of here!" Ben said.
"She started it!" Both said together.
"I don't care who started it! If we're going to get out of here, we're going to have to work together. Got it? Now I'm going to bring down the crystals. When I do, you aren't going to try to kill each other. Am I clear?" Ben asked.
"Crystal." Both said simultaneously.
"Good." Ben said.
"The kid is right. We're gonna have to work together." Frank said.
"Huh. I must be in a different universe if I'm the one that makes the most sense here." Ben said.
"What is going on here?" A voice said behind them. They all turned. It was a kid.
"Who are you?" Ben asked. He didn't expect any other people to be in the place they were in.
"Luz. Luz Noceda. The more important question is who are you guys?" She asked.
"Ben Tennyson."
"Gwen Tennyson, I'm this dweeb's cousin."
"Hope."
"Frank. Frank West."
"Rebecca Chang." She said, a hand on her hip.
Luz was a little confused. "Wait. You're cousins? How?"
"I don't know myself sometimes." Gwen said.
Ben looked at his hands. He realized why she was confused. "Oh. Right."
"This isn't who I actually am. This is just one of my alien forms." Ben said.
"Aliens!?" Luz said. She blinked twice. She couldn't believe it! Aliens?
"Hard to believe I know. But I'm just a kid like you. I call this guy Diamondhead." Ben said, pointing to himself. On cue, the watch timed out. And there stood a regular kid. The red light was blinding at first to Luz but then she saw the kid.
"So you really weren't kidding." Luz said.
Willow, Gus and Amity showed up to see Luz as they went to school for the day.
"Hey Luz!" The three said together.
"What's with the crowd?" Gus asked.
"That's what I'm trying to figure out." Luz said to them.
"So you're stuck here too?" Ben asked.
"Stuck? No." Luz said, rejecting the notion. "I came here."
"You came here. You mean you wanted to go here?" Frank asked.
"Well it was an accident really. I didn't really fit in back home and my mom was going to send me to summer camp. I was bummed so I threw my book away. But I saw something take it. So when I chased it, I chased it all the way back here in this place, the demon realm and the Boiling Isles. I felt I really fit in better here with friends and everything, so I decided to stay and become a master witch, sending videos to my mom on how I'm doing while I'm here. And that's the gist of it." Luz explained.
"A master witch? You mean like magic?" Gwen asked.
"Yeah. I'm learning from Eda a former master witch now. She lost her magic. And from Hexside." Luz said.
"There's a school to learn magic. Sign me up!" Gwen said.
"You looked like you could fit in well. I heard you and Hope are spellcasters." Luz said.
"Yeah. Back on earth, I used to be called Lucky Girl. I had charms that could literally give me the best luck possible." Gwen said.
"And without those charms you're a novice." Charmcaster commented.
"Am not!"
"Are too?"
"Hey! Do I have to go hero again to separate you two?" Ben asked. The two refused to look at each other.
"I'm guessing there's a bit of history between those two." Amity said.
"Yeah. Charmcaster is the evil niece of Hex, who's also evil and does magic. I guess it runs in the family." Ben said. "They've been trying to one-up each for a while."
"So, you guys must be superheroes!" Luz said excited again.
"Meeting superheroes two days in a row! It's one out of my many dreams come true!" Luz said.
"There were others here?" Frank asked.
"Long story. Short story: Danny Phantom comes to my school to stop a ghost." Luz said.
"Huh. I've heard of that name somewhere. I just can't put my finger on it." Frank commented.
"But to answer your question: I'm absolutely a superhero!" Ben said, pointing to himself. "With the Omnitrix, I can turn into all sorts of aliens."
"You can do all of that with that watch? Es increible!" Luz said.
"Maybe I'm a hero of the people. Superhero not so much." Frank said.
"Oh?" Luz noticed the camera he had. "You must be a photographer."
"Close. Photojournalist. I've covered wars you know." Frank said.
"He's covered more than wars. He's survived a zombie apocalypse!" Ben told them.
"Zombies!?" Luz asked.
"Yeah. They're not just in the movies kid." Frank said before fiddling with his camera to find some pictures to take.
"But somebody's behind it. Rebecca and I are trying to find out who."
"We already know the US Government has a hand in it. We just need the evidence." Rebecca said.
"Sounds like a really interesting mystery." Gus said.
"Yeah, and a dangerous one. This job ain't for someone that isn't willing to risk their life." Frank said, searching his pocket for the zombrex to make sure it's still there. It wasn't.
"Great. This is just great. Damn it!" Frank said.
"What happened?" Rebecca asked.
"My zombrex! I must have lost it when we came here through that portal."
"What's zombrex?" Ben and Luz asked simultaneously.
"It's a drug I take to prevent myself from turning into a zombie. Back at the Willamette mall I got infected. There was a woman I worked with named Isabela who helped make something to stop me from turning until a cure was created." Frank said.
"So if you don't take it you'll turn into a zombie!?" Gwen said.
"Yeah kid, unfortunately." Frank responded.
"Luckily, I already took it before I even went to Indiana. But that was at around 5:00 AM." He checked his watch. "Before we got to this place it was around 7:00 PM. We've got to find some way out of here by noon tomorrow. If not…" Frank west said before moving around a bit. "I'm sure you can figure out the rest."
"I've got to head to school guys. You can come with us! I'll try to help any way I can." Luz told them.
"Thanks." Frank said.
On their way to school, they walked through the Boiling Isles.
"A pretty interesting place. You don't mind if I take some pictures do you?" Frank asked.
"Sure." Luz responded.
Frank took a couple of shots. One of them being a stand that sells potions, another being a general picture of people walking, talking, living their usual life and another being a wanted poster that he saw of someone that was named Eda.
"So, how exactly did you get the watch?" Willow asked.
"It started back last summer. I was on a trip with my Grandpa and my cousin Gwen. We were camping one night and Gwen and I got in a fight. So I ran off into the woods. I found a pod crash out of the sky. It opened up and I saw something in it, and it was a watch. I thought it was cool so I tried to take it but then it just suddenly latched onto my wrist and I couldn't get it off. I turned into an alien after messing around with it and had to use it save some people. Since then, a lot of people have been after it or just hate my guts. But I've used it to help people, save the day and have fun doing it." Ben said.
"That sounds like an adventure I'd love to be in. Even though I'm not sure I would have tried messing with something that looked like it came from aliens, wouldn't want my brain dissected." Luz said.
"Funny you mention that. I actually did meet the creator once. It was pretty cool. If only to stop the destruction of the universe, but still cool."
"Universe as in every planet?" Luz's eyes widened.
"Yeah. Apparently the self-destruct on this thing is so powerful it can destroy the whole universe." Ben said.
"Honestly, I would freak out if I had that much pressure to stop the universe from exploding." Luz said.
"So if there's magic in this place, do you think there's any way we can go home?" Gwen asked.
"There is one way. But its inside the Emperor's Palace. I kinda destroyed it trying to stop him from invading Earth but you don't want to go in there anyway." Luz warned.
"It seems that the only other option we have is to find the missing pages of the spellbook." Charmcaster said.
"It's never something simple is it? Why can't we just say 'I wish I was home' and be done with it?" Ben commented.
"Those pages could be anywhere in this city by now. It could take us days to find them. And even then, we may never even find them all." Frank said.
"Wait! I've got an idea." Ben said.
"You? With an idea? This should be good." Gwen said.
"What have you got?" Rebecca asked.
"You'll see." Ben said as he turned the dial to Wildmutt. His veins started to grow larger all across his body. His eyes became orange. Orange hair began to grow all over his body. He opened his mouth and he began standing on all fours, slamming one of them on the ground.
"A superhero transformation!" Luz said excitedly.
"I never knew that it was even possible to change your anatomy so drastically." Willow said.
Wildmutt takes each book half and smells them.
"Oh, you went Wildmutt so you can find each of the pages by scent since both Charmcaster and I both touched the book! Good thinking Ben!" Gwen said.
Ben nodded.
"He must not be able to talk." Amity noticed.
"Yeah. This is the only alien that he uses where he can't talk." Gwen said.
He sniffs and points forward. As they were walking, they came across Hexside academy.
"Well, we've arrived at Hexside! I'll be at school. If you guys are still here when I'm back I'll help any way I can. I'm sure Eda wouldn't mind helping either. Later guys!" Luz and the others walked into the school.
"Eda? I took a picture that had a wanted poster of her. I'm not sure if she knows it or not, but it's a question to ask." Frank said.
They traveled across the entire Boiling Isles, finding several pages of the book. Taking periods for the watch to recharge in between and getting lucky to find some pages of the book without Wildmutt. But it wasn't all of them. The next two were in Hexside and another in the library. It already felt like it took them hours to even find the pages they have. Three and a half to be exact. 13 hours and 30 minutes may seem like a lot. But for Frank, every second mattered. Every second without zombrex is a second closer to him becoming a zombie. And as the time inched very close to the zombification time, he would slowly start to feel the effects of becoming a zombie and feel sick as well. Time was ticking and it felt like it was ticking faster and faster for Frank.
