A/N: Hey guys this is DarkCrisan366, this sequel was based on Wild Striker, Gokusen and Tekken 6 and the plot is in DanceDanceRevolution X where most characters involved in their stories in the Street Master Mode. This story takes place a month after the events of DanceDanceRevolution SuperNOVA2 where Rage and his group are battling against a terrorist organization named X-Pac whose motives of kidnapping the innocent people to serve as suicide bombers in order to destroy the entire population in the United States and it's up to them to put an end to their reign of terror. Here is the story called as DDR X: Street Master Verse.

DDR X: Street Master Verse

Chapter 1: Attack on MAX Carnival

Living in the United States was really harder than I thought. I tried taking odd jobs and at the same time being a local street dancer while living at the dormitory along with Beechum. It's really funny that all of my old friends in Japan are there too including my girlfriend Emi, Retsu and Yuni. I'd never thought Retsu would antagonized us because he think we interfere on his job and I'd never expect him to become a CIA agent working undercover into siding with an enemy and he breaks our friendship between me and Emi. Not until the SuperNOVA competition takes place, he finally repents us because he doesn't want us to get hurt when more threats is upon us and Afro had opened a new city called Disco Town and gramps became one of his sponsors. I guess I take my break for acting vigilant to fight crime and all and when my friends tried tasting my takoyaki that I was currently making and they loved it. If it wasn't for Beechum to suggest me to have a takoyaki business and my current business became famous. I started my takoyaki business by starting selling them at the Revolution Park and once my takoyaki business becomes a hit, I ended up at MAX Carnival to bring this traditional Japanese delicacy to the masses. I wanted to realize my American Dream and to open a takoyaki restaurant and this is my quest to make this takoyaki famous. I'm gonna make this takoyaki nationwide!

In Central Intelligence Agency at New York City, a young man looked at his computer to see their new mission about a terrorist organization named X-Pac where they involved in kidnapping cases and their leader is General Kharam Ishthar who is the mastermind behind the suicide bombing around South West Asia. He was promoted as a federal agent from the U.S. Goverment and the only Japanese representative to be promoted.

"So his next target was here in the United States. I wonder what our main suspect is gonna target first?"

When he sees the list of their enemy's target, he gasped when he sees Rage as their first target. He stood up and knowing that his friend was in the amusement park as he thought.

Reiji, huh... That guy hasn't changed ever since he got here in New York. I heard from my co-workers are talking about him and his delicious takoyaki they had bought from him. Since this is my mission to take down anyone who attempts the kidnapping. If he's the target then perhaps, a disguise would do.

At MAX Carnival, Rage was cooking takoyaki due to his occupation as a popular takoyaki chef and everyone loves his takoyaki and he earns a lot of money because of this. Beechum also helps him because of many customers are trying to buy his takoyaki.

"It looks like your takoyaki business is booming, Rage. Selling this at the amusement park is amazing." Beechum smiled which Rage replied in a smile.

"I want to show to everybody that I'm bringing this takoyaki to the masses and this is my quest to make things famous."

"Gladly that I helped you out just in case."

Suddenly, the mysterious customer came to buy his takoyaki and to the surprise of both of them.

"Can I try your takoyaki? So that's why my co-workers are trying to say about you. You must be a popular takoyaki chef from Japan."

"Of course, I'm from Japan. You got some nerve to say that." Rage said getting annoyed at his words and he tells him. "If you wanna try my takoyaki then you have to pay for it."

"Sure, I'll buy it..." The man replied as he buys the takoyaki and eats it.

"How was it?" Beechum asked.

"It's pretty good... You became improved." The man said in delight which Rage happily thanked him for his compliments.

"Thanks for the compliment."

"No problem... but you should be careful for a guy like you with a bad temper. Because someone is about to attack you very soon."

The man soon leaves with his takoyaki, Rage clenches his fist in a fit of annoyance where Beechum sees him getting angry when someone remarks him like this.

"That guy's got a nerve! There's only one person who remarks snobbishly like that?!"

"Calm down, Reiji... He maybe speak this way. But he's trying to warn you or something about someone is gonna attack you." Beechum said which Rage replied in a serious tone.

"Me? Getting attacked?! That was absurd... it was peaceful in Disco Town and now I'm focusing on my takoyaki business. This mystery guy is a strange individual."

That night at the dormitory, Rage contacts his grandfather Garuda about the mystery man's warnings and wanting to know what it is.

"I see... so someone bought your takoyaki and warns ya about getting attacked by muggers or somethin'"

"Yeah, gramps... He maybe a cool guy showing up just like me and now this. He's trying to predict that I'm about to get attacked. I could predict powerful earthquakes once it was struck at our home country in Japan."

"Hmmm, this is what I heard from the U.S. Government of course coming from the monitors at my underground laboratory." Garuda said and he tells them. The most important thing for you is to act vigilant.

"Kinda reminds me of the old days, enjoying to fight crime and practicing dancing in the dance game. I'll never forget that." Rage said remembering the old times and Garuda tells him.

"You have to keep that in mind, Reiji. Because the enemy would easily know how to attack you."

Rage finally hung up his phone and he looked at the night sky as he thought.

I was enjoying to fight as a street vigilante and the participate in the dance tournaments and competition. I had made friends and rivals within those competitions. Luckily that Emi is here in the United States just for the robot competition last month. I really don't know what apartment she was staying not like at my place.

The next afternoon, the man in a disguise to see they had already sent someone to thrash over the entire amusement park within MAX Carnival, leaving him to follow him in pursuit. Inside the carnival, Rage continues to cook his takoyaki while Beechum is with him and his takoyaki business is getting booming. Suddenly, he saw many people are running away in fright as he nudges Rage about what he had seen.

"Uhm, Reiji... I don't think many people would never buy your takoyaki. Looks like they were running away with something."

"Not now, Beechum... I got a lot of cook thing to do." Rage replied which Beechum warns him.

"What if the mystery guy's prediction was telling the truth if you're going get attacked by a-?"

He noticed a brute man arrive to scare the people away to cause a stampede and looked to see Rage who is his target as he begins to charge at both of them.

"I know what you're saying, Beechum about I'm about to get attacked. Now stop pestering me and I'm so busy!" Rage angrily scolds Beechum until he avoids the brute's punch which has stronger feats. He realizes that he was targeted by this brute terrorist as he mutters. "So the mystery guy is telling the truth then? Dang it! I wasn't focus for this!?"

The brute terrorist attempts to charge at Rage until gunshots can be heard which causes him to be grazed from it's bullets. Rage noticed the man in disguise who wields a handgun knowing he's trying to protect him.

"You're quite the stubborn-type, aren't you?"

"Enough with your snobbishness! I know what I'm capable of?" Rage said while giving him a angrier look until the brute terrorist is losing focus after seeing the operative's presence and instead of attacking his main target, he destroys his takoyaki stand while on a rampage, much to his horror. Seeing him destroying his takoyaki stand and ruining his business this enrages him even more. "I'm gonna beat the crap outta you, you big ugly brute! For destroying my takoyaki stand and my business!"

Rage angrily charges over the brute and immediately stuns him with a heavy knee to the groin and lands a powerful kick in the face, knocking him to the ground. Rage became exhausted after he took out the brute for destroying his takoyaki stand and lowering his head in depression and he tried so hard to build it. The man soon comes up with him.

"I guess you became lack from your vigilantism."

"Whatever you are... you predicted that I'm about to attack with this big ugly brute." Rage said noticing his warnings and became depressed over losing his takoyaki stand. "I tried so hard to build this takoyaki stand so that I can strike out my own business and now that brute just destroyed it."

"Do not worry, the U.S Goverment are gonna pay the damages for your takoyaki stand and I'll inform this to the Goverment Chief Advisor." The man in disguise soon removes his facial disguise and to Rage's shock it was actually his best friend Retsu Kageyama.

"You gotta be kidding me! It was actually you!" Rage gasped as Retsu shrugged at his actions.

"You're not the same Reiji who loves to beat the hell out of anyone else. I would expect from someone who became a popular takoyaki chef who enjoys making takoyaki."

"I should have known... those snobbish remarks and warnings are coming from you." Rage points his index finger over Retsu's appearance.

As the brute was arrested for attacking at the amusement park, Rage, Retsu and Beechum watch the entire scene knowing that MAX Carnival will be temporarily closed for the time being after the incident.

"So what brings you here, Retsu. You have full of surprises and you let Reiji became unaware of you in a disguise." Beechum smiled over his old friend and Retsu replies.

"I'm just trying to make sure if this brute would arrive to attack Reiji at amusement park and he did. Because he was targeted by a terrorist organization."

"I thought the Heartless organization is dismantled by the likes of us and now this. I wanna know what are their plans?" Rage said while having his arm crossed while raising his brow. "Those bastards, I'm not gonna let them ruin my takoyaki business like this ugly brute for example."

"So where are you going, Retsu?" Beechum asked.

"I have to get back with the authorities." Retsu answered as he decided to leave while he looked at Rage from his right shoulder. "I enjoyed your takoyaki, Reiji. Now I understand why my co-workers are crazy over your cooking. They feel like they were grooving themselves in the disco bar."

As Retsu leaves with the authorities, Rage smiles when he compliments about his takoyaki he was currently making as he tells Beechum.

"Since MAX Carnival will be closed for the time being, let's just say we had a break. It looks like everyone likes my takoyaki after all and they feel that they could dance like mine."

"I'd say that you should practice your focus, Reiji. Aside from your takoyaki business, you need to defend yourself from any danger too." Beechum said which Rage agrees.

"Okay then... I need to refocus on myself so that it will never happen again."

With that, both continued to watch the authorities are investigating the entire incident.
