Kaito Lockhart, the King of Radiant Garden, is frustrated. First, he turned down one bride due to how cold-hearted she is. Then he rejected another because she wasn't as intelligent as he would have liked. He hopes to find a bride soon, not because of the rule that if he doesn't by his 21st birthday which is in a year, the council will force him to marry a princess named Vanita. But because he wants a woman to love him as he loves her. He sighed as he decided to go out for fresh air on the balcony. He looks at the pond, imagining him out with his wife. After a moment, he went back inside then he accidentally bumped into someone.

"Oh, I'm sorry." He said as he didn't see who he bumped into. "I wasn't looking..." He stopped and widen his eyes. It was a young woman in a red gown with black lines. She had shoulder-length spikey hair and blue eyes. She was also wearing a clown necklace. Kaito immediately recognized this young woman.

"Sora? Is that you?" Sora was his childhood best friend. She was a commoner girl. When they were little, they used to play in the Islands before it was time for her to go home. They've been doing it until Sora moved into another country.

"Kaito... long time no see." She said.

"Wha-when did you get here?" He asked.

"I moved her last week." Sora said. "It's been a year since my parents died so I lived with my aunt until I was old enough to live by myself. I moved in here about a week ago. I tried to get in touch with you but they told me you were too busy and I had to wait until tonight to come. So... here I am." Kaito was in desbeif but he is thrilled to have his friend back. He examines her and rubbed his neck.

"Tha-that's a nice dress." Sora looked down and blushed.

"Thanks, it was mother's as." She said. They stood their in silence until they heardmusic playing. Kaito sighed and offered his hand.

"Would you care to dance?" He asked. Sora blushed at that question but she nodded and took it as Kaito leads her to the dance floor. The crowd watched their prince dance with this beautiful commoner.

"Who is she? I never seen her before."

"You gotta admit... they do look perfect together."

"I could see the look in his eye... he loves her."

"I wish I could find a man like that."

They ignored the chatter as they continued dancing. Kaito gulped while looking at her.

"You're a good dancer." He commented. Sora blushed.

"Thanks, my mother taught me."

"Well, she was a good teacher." Kaito complemented. He twirled her around as Sora felt her dress flowing. Sora remembers when she was little, she had a crush on the prince but now she has no doubt... she is in love with Kaito and he loves her. Once Music ended. Kaito hugged her. Sora smiled and wrapped her arms around his shoulders. Once they were done, Kaito released it but never let go of her hand.

"Would you like to take a walk with me?" He asked.

"Yes." Sora said. He smiled and they walked to the islands they used to play at. She holds the fabric of her dress to walk easily. They stopped in he secret cave they used to hang out at.

"Wow, after all these years. It's still here." Said Sora. She was looking at the drawings they used to do when they were children.

"Hey, I remember that." Kaito pointed a drawing she did where she dreamn't of an adventure of saving worlds with a dog and duck. Both of them laughed on how crazy it sounds but it would make a good story. She was looking at the other drawings but one thing caught her attention. It was a drawing of them when she drew Kaito's and Kaito's drew Sora's. She remembered when the day before she left, she drew a paopu fruit and her giving it to him. However, she noticed something different. She sees his hand giving her a paopu fruit. She turns around in surprise.

"Kaito... did you?" Kaito rubbed his neck nervously.

"Yeah, I drew it the day after you left. I realized that I don't just see you as a friend." He sighed and puts his hands on his shoulders. "I had a crush on you but that grew stronger... I love you, Sora." But before Sora could reply, she felt Kaito kissing her on the lips. She was surprised but she kissed him right back. There has never been a moment as beautiful as this.

12 months later

After being declared king a month ago, Kaito asked Sora to marry him and not surprisingly, she said yes.
