In a facility known as Camp Salazar, the Eternal Squadron uses it as the main base of operations for their line of work. It is set up near each of the major Umbrella facilities within the world. In the Control Center, one of the squadron leaders were in there making a video call with a shadowy figure. The shadow said, "Major Arkenson, are you available for a mission?"

Major Thomas Arkenson answered, "Yessir. What is it that you need from the 1st squad of the Eternal Squadron?"

The shadow answered, "We lost communication with the scientists within the Hive. We need someone to investigate what happened down there. You guys are apparently the only ones available."

Thomas said, "That is true, sir. We just got back from Tokyo, Japan. They screwed everything up over there. So we had to fix the problem. Uh, is the head of security joining us, sir?"

The shadow answered, "No. They will protect the Hive from the outside. Whatever happened, make sure that you get everything recorded. The information that they have is needed to protect our company from collapse."

Thomas said, "Understood sir. We'll get to the Hive right away."

The shadow said, "There is one more thing. My daughter Dr. Elizabeth Zeinestar is down there. Figure out what happened to her as well. If she is alive, then get her up to the surface immediately."

Thomas said, "Yessir."

The shadow said, "Godspeed, Major."

The shadow vanished and then Thomas turned around and walked back to his squad bay and his men said, "Please tell us that we are going home."

Thomas said, "We got one final mission. Then we all go home. Seems like the scientists at the Hive stopped communicating with the base. We need to investigate what happened and bring the information back to the surface. We have been ordered to save the bosses daughter as well. So, we're heading to the Hive tomorrow morning. Call your families and tell them that you are going to be late. Corporal Otega, what do you think?"

Corporal Ryan Otega answered, "This doesn't sound good, sir. The Hive is the biggest underground facility that the Hive owns."

Thomas said, "Second biggest, Corporal. The Citadel in Oracle City is the largest."

Ryan said, "Well, we'll have a hard time finding what we need. If I'm not mistaken, then there are millions of people working in the Hive."

Thomas said, "A total of 5879284 people."

Ryan said, "Alright. Look, the Give is a massive place and we might not survive on low rations. We'll need a few days to get what we need before we actually head to the Hive."

Thomas said, "I see. It's that bad."

Ryan answered, "Yes."

Thomas said, "Sergeant Alonso, take your fireteam to get us some chow for the mission. We're going to need enough to last us a couple of days. We might be there for a while."

Sergeant Zoey Alonso said, "Yessir. Anything will do, yes?"

Thomas said, "Anything will do."

Zoey said, "1st Fireteam, with me."

Her men followed her and then Thomas said, "Corporal Raines, where is Private Jones?"

Corporal Evan Raines answered, "Private Jones is just taking a piss, sir. Is this a mandatory mission, sir?"

Thomas said, "I'm afraid so, Corporal. It came straight from the boss."

Evan said, "Shit."

Thomas said, "I know about your situation with your family, but I need you focused on this mission. I'll make sure you get paid double for this mission."

Evan said, "No need, sir. It would get you in trouble for favoritism."

Thomas asked, "What makes you think it is just you that'll be getting a raise? I'm talking about everyone in the 1st squad."

Ryan said, "I could use a good payday."

Evan laughed and said, "You shouldn't have spent your last one on that stripper."

Ryan said, "At least I got laid on the last mission."

Evan said, "Sorry, I'm married to a beautiful wife and two kids with one on the way."

Thomas smiled and then said, "We'll make sure that you get home to those kids and that lovely wife of yours."

Ryan smiled and then a few hours later, Zoey appeared with her team with the food for their mission and Lance Corporal Ray Guerrero appeared saying, "Sir, we're ready to head to the Hive now. Our pilot is waiting for us to get on board."

Ryan said, "Well shit. Let us get this mission over with so that we can all get home to our families."

Thomas said, "Get all of the gear to the chopper. Corporal Raines, with me."

Evan said, "Yessir."

Evan followed Thomas to the armory and then Evan asked, "What's wrong, sir?"

Thomas answered, "We might need more ammo than this. So, we're going to take some extra weapons out of the armory so that we'll be prepared for the worst."

Evan said, "We always need to be well-prepared, sir."

Thomas said, "Exactly."

They started grabbing weapons and put them inside a duffle bag along with some bombs to blow up the Hive if anything bad happens. They ran back to the chopper and then Thomas looked around and then said, "Count."

Everyone did and then Thomas said, "17. Alright. Take us to the Hive."

The pilot said, "Yessir. Oh yeah, the boss wanted to speak with you."

Thomas heard that and walked over to the cockpit and grabbed the earphones and put them on his head and said, "Sir, this is Major Arkenson."

The boss said, "Major, there is another object that you need to complete for us before you can leave the Hive."

Thomas said, "Sir, my men's lives are being put at risk here with all of these objectives. This better be good, sir."

The boss said, "I know. I know, but this is what the higher-ups want. There is something called the T-Virus that is down there in one of the labs. Head to the labs and find the T-Virus before it is too late. Also, I'll pretend that you never talked to me like that."

Thomas said, "Yessir."

Thomas handed the headset to him and then said, "Take us to the Hive and fast."

Thomas walked back to his men and sat down and then Ray asked, "Is it really that bad?"

Thomas answered, "This mission just got even riskier. First, just go to the Hive and find the scientists and figure out what happened. Second, find the bosses daughter, Dr. Elizabeth Zeinestar. Third, find the T-Virus and escort it back to the surface before something bad happens to it. This is a fucking suicide mission, ladies and gentlemen. I hope that you called your families before this. Because where we're going, there is no communication anywhere."

They heard that and looked at each other and then a few hours later, they arrived in front of the entrance of the Hive and then the two head of security for the Hive said, "Welcome to the Hive."
