Made for Each Other: Arthur and Molly

Following Arthur Weasley and Molly Prewett as they navigate their sixth and seventh years at Hogwarts and fall in love. This will be formatted as both letters and scenes. Starting very innocent, it will get steamier as we go. DISCLAIMER: I do not own any part of the Harry Potter franchise.

1. Chapter 1

22 July,1966

Dear Molly,

I hope this letter gets to you okay, I am sending it the Muggle way, with stamps and everything!

My summer is all right, my older brother Bilius is visiting. He moved out a few years ago after he graduated, and our house got strangely quiet. It's odd how much noise and adventure one person can make in a house. Now he's back, and there's life at the old Weasley place, haha.

I do prefer a lively house to a quiet one. Bilius knows how much I love Muggles, and he brought me the coolest gift I have ever gotten, which is a great mess of plugs and wires. Now I can practice with eckeltricity on my own!

I can't wait for our O.W.L. results. I know I'll have done well in Muggle Studies and Charms, but I'm really anxious about Transfiguration and Defense Against the Dark Arts. I need both of those to get in at the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, where I want to further my work on behalf of Muggles. I know you'll have done brilliantly in Potions, of course, Miss Top-of-the-Class. Have you given more thought to what you want to do after Hogwarts? When we last spoke about it you said you hadn't decided.
