Hello, my name is Prudence Aberdeen…oops I mean Brown…I can't believe I still do that. I am just your run of the mill independent country girl, who spent a year travelling on the Oregon Trail; but on this trail, my life changed…but for the better. I fell in love with my best friend, Zeke and we got married, and when we arrived in Salt Lake City, our little boy, Benjamin was born, who we named after Benny. 18 months later, our little girl, Mary was born…but 8 months later, I found out I was pregnant again. But, no matter I am still happy, and Zeke has been a terrific husband, father and partner. He still let me do things even if I was heavily pregnant, such as hunt, which I loved doing.

My ex-husband, Todd thinks I am ridiculous of the things I do, but I tell him, I am ridiculous, but an independent ridiculous woman.

Began heavily pregnant, again is no picnic, which Zeke suggested we do this afternoon with the children. After we had out lunch, I decided to pick herbs, while him, with Mary in his arms and Benjamin look and smell flowers, I began having pains, and leaned against a tree.

"Zeke…Zeke!" I shouted at him

He looks at me, "yes?"

I began moaning loudly and holding my stomach, he looks around, "ahh, I need you to get you to the doctor"

"Forget that…this one isn't waiting!" I screamed but looked at Benjamin who was scared as well as Zeke, who was trying to look for help, while holding Mary in his arms, "don't you dare leave me!"

He reaches for my hand, "I'm here…but what do I do?" he asked with a calm, but panicked voice

I look at him, "you put this in me…you take it out!"

His eyes opened up wide up, "uhhh" and looked at Benjamin

"Ben, son, take your sister and go find Granny McGill and say tell her mommy is having the baby"

Benjamin nodded and held onto Mary, while walking to Granny's, "luckily, its not too far away for them…"

I fell against the tree, "yes, ok, just shut up and deliver this baby, NOW!"

"Right…uhh" he says as he takes off his coat and collar and helps me down onto the ground, and takes off my bloomers, "ok, now look to see how far, I am?"

Zeke looks at me, "uh, Prudence"

"JUST LOOK, WERE MARRIED!" I screamed at him and spread my legs as he looked down, "uh, I see the head, so push"

I pushed and screamed, "YOU THINK! WERE NOT HAVING SEX FOR A LONG TIME, AFTER THIS!"

Zeke nodded, "right, ok, just keep pushing"

I pushed 3 more times, when I heard a baby crying, "it's a girl. We have another girl, Prudence"

As I reached for our little girl, I saw Benjamin, Mary and Granny coming in her wagon, "mommy, are you ok?"

I nodded, "yes, come and see your little sister"

"Reverend, you delivered the baby?"

Zeke nodded, "I did"

Granny looks at the baby, "you did well, great job. Have you got a name picked out?"

"Ah, Prudence, you choose" Zeke says to me

I look at our beautiful daughter, and said "Eve, her name is Eve"

Zeke smiles, "it's perfect"

After I had enough strength, Granny took Eve in her arms, while Zeke picked me up and we rode in her wagon to her house.

The next day, Benny came over to see his new niece and we asked him to become the official godfather of our children, which he felt honored.
