Kristina's POV
"I've really done it now." I mutter to myself as I get into my car staring out into the distance, making no move to start the engine. I fucked my female professor to get a better grade...I always knew I was an overachiever but this was a little much, even for me...but when my family found out all hell broke loose. So here I sat mulling over my latest mistake dodging calls and texts from my family members. I picked up my phone and dialed a number that I hadn't used in a very long time, hell it could be out of service by now I didn't know. All I knew was that I needed someone to talk to, someone who wouldn't judge my bad decisions. The phone rang three times before it was picked, a groggy sound coming from the other line.
"I didn't do it." Came his thick Australian accent, which earned a surprised laugh from her.
Ethan's POV
I arched one brow at a feminine laugh...Helena? Was she who I was talking to?
"What? No." He thought to himself, where was his head.
"Ethan?" The voice asked, sounding quite amused, Kristina. It was Kristina.
"Kristina?" He asked back, knowing he sounded like a dumbass.
"Just who did you think I was?" Kristina wonders.
"I uh...it's better if you don't know the answer to that. It's good to hear your voice...I'm just confused on why you're calling me. I thought you hated my guts." Ethan's curiosity was piqued, though Kristina had always, somehow managed to do that.
"I messed up. Really badly. I don't even know how it happened Ethan, I'm fucked." Kristina admitted wanting to cry, the Australian could tell from over the phone.
"Kristina, everyone makes mistakes. I'm sure it's not that bad...but you can talk to me." Ethan sighs, wondering what was wrong.
"I was failing a class so I tried to bribe my professor into giving me a good grade. With sex. My professor was a woman, am I fucking gay? Bi? I don't know anymore. Ugh!" Kristina groaned in annoyance.
"That sounds like some Lulu shit. Maybe you should try talking to her, I know sis would be the last one in the world to judge you. I'm planning on coming to Port Charles in a few days, we can talk in person then." Ethan told her, concerned for her.
"Maybe I will, thank you. I'll see you in a couple of days." Kristina smiled. Ethan stared at the phone a couple of minutes later long after they'd hung up.
"Funny that people come to me for advice when I'm just as fucked as the rest of them…"
Kristina's POV
It was Friday afternoon and I was going to meet Ethan at his hotel room. I rapped on the door twice.
"Kristina, come in. It's good to see you." His smile filled her view as he leaned down to hug the brunette.
"Oh, it's good to see you too." Kristina instantly brightened up, hugging him back.
"What happened, Krissy? The last time we saw each other you said you hated my guts-that you'd be fine if we never spoke again. Then, you call me up, basically crying." Ethan looks at her, curiously.
"I was fucked up Ethan, I let others get into my head. I loved you-I wanted you. Everyone kept filling my head with their words...I couldn't take anymore and just snapped. I didn't mean to snap at you but, I couldn't stay in Port Charles one moment longer. I felt trapped. Hurting you like that is the worst thing I've ever done...can you ever forgive me?" Kristina unloaded everything on him, knowing she could have handled things a lot better.
"Kristina, of course I forgive you. You were just a teenager, we make mistakes and learn from them. I loved you-I still do. I can't fathom the day I won't love you. Can we start over?" Ethan smiled a genuine smile, for once.
"I'd like that. Did you have something in mind?" She smiled back, intrigued and happy.
"Come to Australia with me, let's start over. We'll come back someday but for now-I don't want us to stress. You know? I want to build a life with the one I love." He explained.
"Yes, of course. I never get to go anywhere and I do need a fresh start." She nods, sealing the deal with a chaste kiss to his lips. The couple left that same night, Kristina not telling anyone where she was going because...it was her life. Why shouldn't she live it as she saw fit? The moment Holly met Kristina she knew that the two would be together forever...
