Chapter 1

James Sirius Potter POV

Alright now I would just like to say that this is not my fault! No matter how much Teddy, and Rose tell me that being the one who both found, and broke a time turner sending us 26 years back in time is entirely my fault! It's not!

Well mabye I should back up a bit... Let you decide who's fault it really is...

It was July 20th, 2021. I was going to be in my 7th and final year at Hogwarts in September, and I was absolutly giddy!

Every Potter, Weasley, Longbottom, Scamander, Lupin, and Malfoy was assembled at Grimmauld Place. Nothing was special about today, just the fact that everyone was free, and it sounded like a good idea.

I had no idea what all the other Next Generation kids were doing, but I for one was about to sneak into my dad's office, and cause some distruction!

I had learned years aho how to disarm my fathers privacy spells, and snuck in here often.

"Watcha doin' cousin." I smiled.

"Hey, Freddie!"

"And Roxanne!" She called from around the corner, stepping into vieq.

I smiled wider even better! Both of my most mischievous cousin!

"Well I'm about to go see what kind of awsome things my dad is hiding in his office!"

"Sounds fun can I come with?" Louis! All the new Mauraders were here!

"Of course, I think I saw my dad bring home an ever lasting stink bomb the other day!"

My cousins smirked evily, we had been trying to get our hands on one of those for years!

"You disable the alarms yet Jamesie?"

I rolled my eyes. "Of course I did, do you take me for a fool!" Then I opened the door too forbidden treasures.

"Alrighty everyone, look for anything we can use for pranks!" I whispered hastily.

They nodded before walking off to different parts of the room rifling through papers, and trying to open locked drawers, being carfeul to make sure that nothing looked out of place, lest my father get suspicious. We would be the first suspects.

I finally made my way over to my fathers main desk. I froze in my tracks with what I saw.

Was that a... timeturner?!?!?!?!??!?!?

I gently picked it up, and examined it. It wasn't golden, silver, and bronze like most time turners, it was black, purple, and blue.

"How weird..." I muttered under my breath so that not even my cousins could hear me.

"What was that James?" Fred called over his shoulder, still looking for the ever lasting stink bomb.

I quickly shoved the time turner in my pocket. "Nothing!" I responded hastily. Fred gave me a weird look, but let it go.

I sighed. "Come on guys, it's clearly not here, lets go." They sighed, but follwed me out.

When we walked out of the office we were met with my dad, and Uncle Draco!

"James Sirius Potter." My father growled.

Oh no, I'm screwed.

"Why were you in my office." He said in a dangerous tone, that sent a chill down my spine.

"I, uhhh, ummmmmmmmmm..." I couldn't come up with a suitable anwser so I just settled for giggling nervously. He pinched the bridge of his nose.

"Just go find your cousin." He said shaking his head. "Draco we can finish this conversation about you know what, later."

Uncle Draco nodded, and both he and dad followed us with their eyes as we ran down the stairs, and outside to find everyone else.

Somehow all the kids were outside. Teddy and Hugo were playing a game of wizards chess, while everyone else watched, while making ridiculous move sugestions.

"Move your knight to E8!" Domonique, encouraged Hugo.

"No. That would leave my queen defensless!" Hugo cried, outraged. (Not everyone's a chess geek like you Hugo, sheesh give her a break!)

"Hey, guys!" I shouted inturupting the fight about to take place.

"We're playing chess!" Hugo growled.

"It's alright Hugo, I forfit, lets just go see what James wants."

Hugo glared at me, and begrudginly walked over to us, followed by everyone else.

"So, what's this about James?" Alice asked.

I smirked. "Lets go to the portrat hall, then I'll explain."

Everyone, including the other mauraders looked at me sceptically.

"I think the nargles have made him start to loose it." Lorcan remarked.

"I agree, brother." Lysander came to stand next to his twin. The only way that they could be told apart was the fact that Lorcan had glasses, and Lysander didn't.

"Just trust me guys! I promise this isn't a prank!" I held up both my hands to show that I wasn't crossing my fingers.

Victorie exchanged a glance with Teddy, before sighing, and agreeing.

A few minutes later all of the Next Gen kids were sitting a huge circle in the portal halp. The portal hall was a big room with pictures of all the members of the Order of The Phoenix, and Dumbledore's army members that had died in the line of duty.

"Alright James, what is this about?" Scorpius asked, the last one to sit down.

James smirked, and pulled the time turner out of his pocket. Everyone gasped.

"H-how?" Teddy asked amazed.

"Is that thing even legal?!?!" Frank asked, terrified.

"Of course not!" James placed the artifact on the groumd infront of him. "If it was, it wouldn't have been in my fathers office!"

"You went into dad's office!" Albus Severus exclaimed horrified.

"You know your not supposed to do that James!" Lily glared at her brother.

"You shouldn't have that James! Your the least responisble out of all of us. And there is a lot of us!" Rose jumped to her feet, and walked over to James, her hands on her hips.

She made a mad grab for the time turner resulting in James pulling it out of the way. He then threw it in the air, convinced he could catch it, and run outside, so Rose couldn't catch him.

Well... that really didn't go as planned...

Because Teddy grabbed it;

only to be tackled by Fred;

who Victorie tried to stop by grabbing his legs;

resulting in Hugo accidently bumping into her;

knocking her into Molly, who face planted into the floor;

who Lorcan tripped over her;

into Lucy, who fell backwards;

into Scorpius;

who was standing next to Albus, resulting in both of them going down; but Albus's reaction was to grab the closest thing to him which was Lily;

who was helped up by Alice;

only for Frank to slam into her;

who just had been tackled by Roxanne and Louis;

who also dragged down Rose;

who Lysander nearly tripped over;

but was caught by James;

who in trying to help him dropped the time turner, that he had stolen back from Teddy.

"Oh shit." James cursed as the kids watched in wonder as the purple smoke started to wind it's way around the group of 18 kids.

The smoke started to glow at the same time as their parents came running into the the room to see what was going on.

"JAMES SIRIUS POTTER WHAT DID YOU DO!" Was the last thing the kids heard Ginny Potter-Weasley scream before there was a bright flash of light, and they were in a much dustier, darker, and colder version of Grimauld Place.

Suddenly they heard people running down the hall towards them, and they were met with a much, much much youmger version of their families.

Teddy's hair turned red. "JAMES SIRIUS POTTER!" He shouted at his god brother.

James flinched. "What did you just call him?" A man with black hair, that they had only ever seen in pictures asked a danerous under tone in his voice.

"It's Sirius Black!" Lucy exclaimed.
