Ruko smiled as he wandered the streets. A stroll with the chocolate bar he carried. He unwrapped the bar and paused when he heard a snarl. His eyes were wide the minute a stray dog appeared. He wondered if anyone was going to save him from the territorial animal. Ritsu? One stranger?
''I found you,'' Ritsu said as he frowned and approached Ruko. He saw the latter's wide eyes.
''I'm so happy you're here. See if you can get rid of the dog,'' Ruko said.
A rare smile replaced Ritsu's frown after he took the bar and bit into it.
Ritsu shrugged. ''I was hungry.''
Ruko's eyes remained wide as he slowly stepped back. He started to regret wishing for Ritsu to save him.
