"I easily could've taken anything else over this. Heck, I would've preferred getting into a life or death struggle with a Digimon four times my level." Impmon thought as he looked across the boxing ring in an abandoned gym that he now found himself in. On the other side was Calumon, wearing a pair of red boxing gloves on his tiny arms looking absolutely excited. Impmon was tasked with looking after Calumon for the day, and that mean he had to keep him entertained. Why Calumon chose to have a boxing match, Impmon didn't know. Still, he relished the fact of punching that dumb smile off his face. He smirked at this thought as he tightened his blue gloves before walking to the center.
Calumon bounced excitedly as he walked to the center as well, "I'm so excited! Thank you for playing with me! Calu!" he said.
"Yeah, yeah. Just don't cry if you get hurt." Impmon said, raising his gloves. Calumon raised his as well, still bouncing with excitement. Tell you what, I'll let you have a free shot." Impmon offered. He wasn't being nice, he was being pitiful.
"Yay! I hope you're ready for this. Calu!" Calumon said, oblivious to Impmon's true intention for the offer. The crass Digimon was confident that his diminutive foe wouldn't even faze him, after all, Calumon was still a weak little baby in his eyes. His thoughts were immediately proven false when a force compared to having a big rig truck ram into him at full speed slammed into his gut, launching him back a few feet and making him roll across the canvas until he hit a turnbuckle. He was turned upside down as he was dazed from the hit, "How was that? Calu!" his opponent said in happiness.
Impmon shook himself out of his daze and rubbed his belly, "Little shrimp, I'll show you what a real punch looks like!" he said before launching himself at Calumon. His attack only met air as Calumon dodged out of the way, much to his surprise and annoyance.
"Missed me! Calu!" Calumon said as he dodged even more attacks from Impmon.
"Stay still you little shrimp!" Impmon shouted as his jab whiffed past Calumon's head.
"But if I do that, I'll get hit! Calu!" Calumon said, not realizing the threat. Impmon yelled before jumping in the air and landing his fist right onto where Calumon was. He panted heavily, thinking that he got him.
"That was neat! Calu!" a familiar voice said from right next to him. He turned around and saw a flash of red before he stumbled back. Calumon continued to wail on him repeatedly until his back hit a corner, where he proceeded to pound his belly over and over.
"This is so much fun!" Calumon said as his gloves sank into Impmon's belly over and over, enjoying the sound it made whenever he made contact.
Impmon however, wasn't doing to good. He was too dazed by the beating that he couldn't even fight back and defend his pride. He swore he could feel his lunch coming up. With a shout of, "Calu!" Calumon launched an uppercut right into Impmon's chin, sending his body shooting up before sliding back down flat on his back. "That was fun! Thank you for playing with me Impmon! Calu!" Calumon said happily. Impmon was completely out of it, his eyes were swirls and his tongue lopped out. It was safe to say that his pride was as bruised as his belly. Calumon suddenly yawned, "I'm sleepy, guess its nap time." he said before snuggling up next to Impmon and falling asleep. He had a really fun day and couldn't wait to play with Impmon again.
