It has been a few hours since Heather's elimination, and pretty much everyone is asleep. All, but Gwen who is unable to sleep because of the events right before to the elimination ceremony. Gwen is just lying in bed.

Gwen (in her mind): "Since the elimination ceremony, I have been thinking about Courtney being able to trust me again. Interestingly, it took be telling her I broke up with Duncan for her to trust me again. I am so glad I pulled her into the bush prior to the elimination ceremony.

Gwen: "I have been trying to make things right with her throughout the season. It started when I apologized to her and tried to give her flowers at the first elimination ceremony."

Flashback-

Gwen walks up to Courtney in the first elimination ceremony.

Gwen: "I know I didn't do anything wrong, but I'm sorry for how the whole Duncan thing went down." She then smiles in excitement. "Here, I got these for you." As she holds out flowers.

Courtney: "Achoo."

Gwen becomes upset.

Gwen: "Oh no, you're allergic."

Courtney becomes angry.

Courtney: "I told you you were a villain.

Back to the present.

Gwen: I genuinely did not know she was allergic. A simple apology backfired. My second attempt was trying to congratulate her when the Heroic Hamsters won the second challenge.

Flashback-

Gwen: "Hi Courtney."

Courtney glares, as Gwen starts to walk up to her.

Gwen: "I just wanted to congratulate you

Suddenly, a trash bag flies up and then falls towards Gwen. Gwen deflects by smacking it with her shovel, but all the garbage lands on Courtney.

Courtney: "Uh uh."

Courtney walks away angrily, while Gwen tries to follow her and explain herself.

Gwen: "That was an accident. I didn't mean to." Gwen pleads.

Back to the present.

Gwen: "Bad luck got me again, which made me upset. My third attempt was trying to welcome her to the Villains team, after she was switched.

Flashback-

Gwen stands up and smiles at Courtney.

Gwen: "Welcome to the team."

She then accidently kicks a bucket of leeches onto Courtney.

Courtney: 'Ahhh!"

Gwen becomes horrified.

Gwen: "I swear I didn't know those were there.

Back to the present.

Gwen: "After the third straight time, I genuinely wondered if I was doing that on purpose. All my attempts were backfiring hard. Prior to the food challenge, I broke down in a confessional over not being able to make things better with Courtney."

Flashback

Confessional

Gwen: "This is the worst. I only came back to Total Drama to make things better with Courtney, but she hates me more than ever."

She then starts crying. However, she was unaware that Courtney overheard her from outside the confessional.

Back to the present.

Gwen: I was genuinely miserable. I had been trying so hard, but everything was backfiring, which was making her hate me even more. I couldn't take it anymore, which caused me to just break down in tears. I am really back to repair our friendship. Fortunately, our relationship began to get better after that. We did have that laugh about Heather in the 5th challenge. While she then got mad and ran off, it was clear that our relationship was improving.

Lastly is what she said to be right before this elimination ceremony.

Flashback-

While heading to the elimination ceremony, Gwen pulls Courtney into a bush.

Courtney: "Hey, uhh!" She pouts

Gwen: "Quiet, look I ended it with Duncan and I'm done putting boys ahead of friends. Tell me how to vote and I'll do it. I swear."

She offers Courtney her hand. After momentarily thinking, Courtney shakes her hand and whispers in her ear.

Back to the present.

Gwen: "I believe Courtney has now realized I am genuinely sorry and that I really want to make things right. Losing her friendship hurt. I really want us to be friends again. I hope Courtney knows I'm serious. I feel like I'm so close to becoming her friend again. If she gives our friendship another chance, she won't regret it. I won't let boys or anyone or anything else to come between our friendship again."

Gwen then falls asleep.
