It's September 1979 & alls quiet in the English countryside where 3 people're sitting at a roaring fire to escape the torrential downpour outside when all of a sudden flashes appear in said sky whereupon the unnamed male realizes what happening so he tells the unknown woman to run to which she does but she doesn't get very far because she gets hit with a Binding spell & the baby in her arms gets taken out of them. A few minutes later 2 more flashes hit their respective targets & after that's done the other figures disappear with the baby without a trace. A few hours later the deceased couple gets discovered with no inkling that a baby ever existed; a month & 4 days later the Dark Lord gets vanquished by Harry 'the Chosen One/Boy-Who-Lived' Potter.
It's a bright & sunny summer day & Hermione Jean Granger's enjoying the holidays before school starts up again. After she finishes swimming, in her infinity pool, she's about to go to the library but her parents ask her to come into the house because a Professor's there to see her & by the end of the meeting Hermione's life as she knows it's going to change but she doesn't know if it'll be for better or worse. Meanwhile, at the Dursley's, Harry Potter's running away from his cousin Dudley's friends whereupon he ends up on the roof of the school's kitchen & so the Little Whinging Fire Department gets called to get him down from there & then the Fire Department sends them on their ways. When both boys come home Dudley tells his mother what happened & so Petunia locks Harry in his cupboard where he stays until Uncle Vernon comes home & when he does he beats the boy until he passes out from the pain. Meanwhile, at the same time, at the Burrow in Devon, England's very noisy because a few children're running around which causes the exasperated red-head, Molly Weasley, to yell at them to come to dinner whereupon the 1st one at the table's the youngest son, Ronald 'Ron' Bilius Weasley, & after dinner's done the whole Weasley clan goes to bed. Elsewhere at Malfoy Manor in Wiltshire, England, which consists of Deatheater Lucius Malfoy, his wife Narcissa & son Draco, a family portrait's being taken & after it's done Narcissa & Draco go to dinner but Lucius goes to the Department of Mysteries (DOM) at the Ministry of Magic. At the same time, at Azkaban Prison which's in the middle of the Northern Sea, unsettling things're happening because of bad vibes coming from Tom 'Lord Voldemort/the Dark Lord' Riddle's top Lieutenant Bellatrix LeStrange, who's being held there for life for torturing Frank & Alice Longbottom, wakes up to crashing waves from a nightmare &/or dream that she can't quite remember except for flashes of green & a newborn crying. A few minutes later she falls back asleep where she dreams of meeting a bushy-haired teen in a room full of whispering glowing orbs & when she hears her name being whispered she ends up sleeping through the night, peacefully, since she got here. Meanwhile, back at the Grangers, said Grangers're reluctant to send their daughter to Hogwarts but when they realize it might be for the best they relent & so McGonagall says she'll be back in a week to bring Hermione to Diagon Alley to get her Hogwarts school supplies; what Hermione doesn't realize's that, over the next 5 years, her life'll be packed with lots of adventure but, dear reader, we'll get to that later. In the meantime, the Professor bids them goodbye & returns to the school. Hermione's parents then leave her to her own devices once more. Also, over the next few days, the other future Hogwarts students go about their summers until they all converge on the Alley; the Grangers' with McGonagall, Harry's with Rubeus Hagrid & Ron & Draco're with their respective families.
When Hermione's shopping she gets a fleeting glance of Hagrid, the other kids & the 4 adults; a few hours later she returns to her home from her exciting day & decides to get some sleep. A few weeks later she goes to her new life; in her 1st Year Hermione meets Harry & Ron on the Hogwarts Express, 2nd Year she, along with Ron's mother & a few female students of Hogwarts, develop a liking for Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher Gilderoy Lockhart as he'd written all the books required for the subject of Defense Against The Dark Arts, 3rd Year she's secretly given a Time-Turner by Professor McGonagall, 4th Year she's horrified by the cruelty that house-elves suffer & establishes S.P.E.W., the Society for the Promotion of Elfish Welfare, as an effort to gain basic rights for them & 5th Year she & Ron become Gryffindor prefects along with Ron, befriends Luna Lovegood, lambasts Lavender Brown for believing the Daily Prophet's allegations of Harry fabricating stories of Voldemort's return, Ron & Hermione spend much of their time bickering but they show continued loyalty to Harry & she conceives the idea of him secretly teaching defensive magic to a small band of students which becomes overly huge & known as Dumbledore's Army.
When Professor Umbridge gets info on these activities she busts them & as a punishment all of the participates'll need to write 'I Must Not Tell Lies' until it, as she says, sinks in; this goes on for a few days until she decides to take more drastic measures i.e. using the Crucio spell but Hermione saves him by telling Umbridge about Dumbledore's secret weapon. They take her to it but it turns out to be ruse & she gets carried away by the Centaurs after that Harry gets a vision of his Godfather Sirius being tortured by Voldemort & so he, she & some of Dumbledore's Army goes to save him but it turns out to be a trap which in turn changes her life forever because when their at the DOM she hears a prophecy about her but before she can retrieve it Dumbledore shows up with some of the Order of the Phoenix. While that's happening Snape hears the same prophesy by Professor Trelawney & after that, he goes to his other master to tell him what he heard: Fake Mud Shrouded in Light Shall Be Revealed Where It'll Be Said It'll Be Dark, Shall Save the Oldest Black & Its Dark Shall Be True; Fake Mud Shrouded in Light Shall Be Revealed. After that Voldemort calls back the other Deatheaters & once the prophecy's done being repeated everyone stays quiet but soon Bellatrix's husband Rudolphus' outburst where he asks who the Mudblood could be & how a Mudblood could save his wife? Snape says who the Mudblood could be & when that's revealed everyone bursts out laughing at the preposterousness of it all which then causes said oldest Black to get furious but Narcissa calms her down by reiterating the rest of the prophecy which means that Granger's actually a Pureblood, she'll be hidden by the Light but once they find out she isn't who she says she's they turn their backs on her because they think she'll join the dark side which'll probably cause her to do that exact thing. After that's all said & done the meeting gets adjourned, everyone goes their separate ways but Snape gets told to stay behind to which he does & this' because his Master needs to tell him a prophecy that the Dark Lord himself heard many years previous which's also part of the previous one: Born Into Darkness, Related To The New Lord & Tricked Into The Light Which's To Be Revealed Soon & Shall Bring About A New Age Of Evil; it turns out that she might be his granddaughter that'd been taken, from his daughter Delphini, a week after Hermione'd been born. He says that he'd like her back ASAP & Snape must do it with no one the wiser. Snape then returns to his other master, Dumbledore, to tell him some of what'd been said but 1st Snape goes to his quarters to write out both prophesies & combine them into a single one with some minor alterations to its wording. Meanwhile, Hermione can't believe what she heard so she just goes to sleep but the next morning she realizes that the woman she'd been dreaming about's Bellatrix who she briefly glimpsed at the Battle of the DOM & she keeps it to herself for now. Bellatrix also dreams of Hermione & a few weeks later summer holiday's roll around once more where Harry goes to the Burrow & she visits relatives in France where she ends up running into Blaise Zambini who decides to be civil to her for said holiday; they become somewhat friends & he decides to invite her to the Zambini Ball where he gets her to use Polyjuice which turns her into a distant French relative called Zara Zambini where everything goes smoothly & after the Ball ends so does her time in France so she goes back home until 6th Year starts.
