UPDATE: I forgotten to put in the recommended background song music for certain chapters, so all of them should be filled in by now.

AN: Holy s**t. From the time when the game got released, the views for thus story reach increasingly! From 915 views on Friday, 944 views on Saturday, 807 views and 843 views on Sunday which are included to the addition of up to 7,315 views, succeeding how many views 'Raging Wind' has! I am surprised by this!

I want to be honest here; I am nervous about this. Even though I reached a huge landmark last year when I was writing 'Real Harmony Takes Lots of Voices', seeing how the view count increases got me nervous. I am not sure if it is due to the popularity of the video game that came out recently or because of how well-liked my take on the game is especially with the OCs and the people who are helping out. I don't think I should explain much, but I got anxious about it because I don't know if I should be proud or feel that the story doesn't deserve to have that much views and follows yet. However, I talked about this with my friends and they encouraged me to keep going with this story since they know that I did a good job on this.

And also, this is as a reminder to everyone (especially to some I PM with) that please do not mention or ask me to do any spoilers for Security Breach on reviews. There are two main reasons why. One, like what Deblod100 said in her own story, there are several people who haven't seen the game and it would spoil the surprise for everyone.

Secondly, I will be using canon elements from the game, but because the game isn't how I thought it would be and I will be using some things from my original plan (in which I made it in preparation for anything), please don't be surprised if I make huge changes. This is my own story and I feel slightly pressured by possible high expectations of me.

I'm not a perfect author, but I don't want to make people down and I promise that this one will be a good story for everyone. I ask that you don't go too hard for me and while criticism is alright, please don't expect too much from me. However, I can confirm that I will be using a combination of the True and 3-Star Endings but how they will lead to that is classified...for now.

Sorry that I might have made this sound cheesy and serious about how I feel, but I need to get this off my chest.

Even though I am really worried about how this story will go, I am grateful for your support. I like to thank all the awesome people for following and reviewing this story. Since I lost track, I will be thanking everyone again. Thank you to my fellow Aussie Tashasaurous for taking the time to read this. Thank you to my queens and best friends I.M. Rally and MasterClass60 for being by my side and creating Augustina and Melody (we promise that we will provide more in this story; something you will never expect!). Thanks to AzureStriker2014 and King Halloween for being good sports for letting use your characters.

And also, thank you to alexberto2508, arc36000, ArchivistIssac, beplusbas, bikerboy, CapitalClassShip, Dragboar of the Skies, Dovahkiin795, Ethial, FanQuiet1991, Flash XS guy, GeorgeLesnar257, Guest (the fellow Vancouver reader who provided me logic on how I should represent Canada as), Ichika13, justinq719, LFD13, lokeefemedford, Magnus Flare, Moore98Luke, MrMarioluigi1000, nagrme2702, Nexs0me, Samuel Loegan, Tech-Star, thefortunaswife, TwilightKingA5L, UsernameAsFalse, Yellowscar1, yvetal1993 for reading, following or reviewing this story. All the love for this story means a lot to me and I will cherish it.

And without further ado, it is time for the show to start! Also, even though it's early, Merry Christmas everyone!

Chapter 6 – Out in the Inside

Vanessa's POV, Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizza Plex, 9/8/17

The parking lot of the Pizza Plex was already filled with huge crowds. From families, to teenagers and journalists. There was already a TV news team with a reporter getting ready on the side. There was something exciting about this place. Despite the bad reputation of the Brooklyn location, something about this brand new and flashy center had gained a lot of interest.

There were so many people wearing their pre-opening merchandise or anything related to it. From ridiculous shirts with the animatronics heads, caps in the shape of the animatronics and waving flags with Freddy's head. Those who didn't bother to waste their money on the merch were wearing a lot of neon colors of pink and blue. It was like a festival going on with the neon, 1980 vibe.

I sighed as there was a ringing going on in my ear. I pressed onto my small earpiece that I placed, small enough to be hidden. There was three seconds of silence until I could hear Oswald's voice.

"You're there already?" asked Oswald.

"Yep," I said. "I managed to get the job last night and earned a spot to be a night guard. Got to say, Luis must be a really generous gentleman!"

"You think he might be hiding anything?"

"I'm not sure. He is friendly and nice overall. However, he seems a little nervous about my safety and the bad things that happened in the past."

"If he is the manager, does he control everything around here?"

"I don't know. The place is supposed to be made up of a lot of people. There might be some things he hasn't noticed."

"Yeah. Unless someone is greedy and runs the trouble behind the walls. But please keep an eye on Luis. He can do anything."

"Alright. So where are you?"

"I am at the side of the Pizza Plex. There is actually a different spot where they are going to begin the tour for the mechanics. Place is already surrounded by so many people, so I may not be able to get back to you when I come out."

"Got it. Be careful there."

"I will. I will let you know what I found so far. You be safe as well. And watch out for the other night guards as well. They might have a thing for this forsaken place."

I scoffed. "Pfft. There aren't going to be any night guards around here. There would be only one…"

I trailed off when I spotted a girl wearing a night guard outfit. She was wearing a pink collared shirt and a black vest with a white stripe in the middle and the Pizza Plex symbol on the back. Despite needing to look formal and straight, she appeared as if she was having a fun day at the center. Cherry decorations in her hair, glasses with blue-colored lens, a black and pink fingerless glove on her right hand, a brown belt with a purple buckle, a purple skirt, black leggings and pink sneakers.

"Oh s***," I said to myself.

She was even going to the right side of the parking lot where the night guards were supposed to meet with their tour guide. Behind her was a redhead girl, though she didn't look like she was applying to be another night guard as well. I sighed, making my way to them.

I took a quick look at myself. My blond hair tied in a messy ponytail with my bangs hanging freely? Check. A black cap with the words 'SECURITY'? Check. A white uniform shirt with the fancy black pads on my shoulders? Check. Black belt with gold buckle? Black trousers? Black shoes? Check. My golden spike necklace?

My necklace.

I sighed again as I stared at the necklace. The first birthday present my brother gave to me. I felt that it should belong to someone else. But Heywood made it clear that it belonged to me when I got it in the first place. I didn't feel happy with it ever since we…

I shook my head as I placed all the bad memories in a tidy, little box and made my way straight to the side of the parking lot. Because of the crowd, it was hard to get through, especially when I got closer. I nearly bumped into a guy by the way, his drink spilling onto my shoes. Without batting an eye, I didn't say anything to him or bother to clean my shoes. But when I got close to the two girls, I decided to blend in the crowd to hear what they were talking about.

"You're excited about this?" said the girl wearing the glasses. "Now that I heard of this place, the magazine Dinah showed me looks really cool! It must be a sight to be seen!"

The redhead girl hummed. "I'm still in doubt about this. Look, Augustina. If nothing makes you s***, maybe this will."

"I know, I know, Cassandra. Don't need to worry about me. Maybe this won't look bad. And when I saw it when I came here to get the job, it looked nice. And now, lit up."

"It sure looks lit as hell. I wonder how much they have to spend to get all of this."

Augustina sighed a little. "You're worried about me, aren't you?"

Cassandra was flustered a little. "What? No! Why would I? I mean, I find it weird that they claimed that they are not responsible for injuries and dismemberment. Don't you still find it sketchy?"

"It's a little concerning, but we haven't seen everything yet from that place. It is still fresh and there aren't any reports from it…yet, of course."

The redhead placed a finger on her glasses and pushed them up to adjust them properly. "Don't get too cocky yet. I mean, don't you think you would look rather…weird when working with those kinds of people? Those who are desperate to look good?"

Augustina frowned, crossing her arms. "I…I don't care if anybody thinks I'm stupid. I just wish that you would be happy for me. I mean, why do you always like to make fun of everything I do?"

"I'm not making fun of you," deadpanned Cassandra. "I'm just trying to help you like how a good leader of the sorosity would."

"Well, you can't buy all the safety in the world, can you? I mean, I'm not a princess like you. This is my own thing."

Cassandra bit her tongue, staying silent for a while. She seemed to want to say something in response, but she stood there in deep thought. I sighed. I should probably break the tension there.

"Hello there," I said, stepping in. "Aren't you a fine pair of ladies?"

Both girls' eyes looked up at me.

"Who are you?" asked Augustina.

"Vanessa Breed-Wrisley," I introduced, bowing down. "Pleased to make your acquaintance."

"I'm…eh…Augustina Cruz."

"And your girlfriend's name is Cassandra? I just heard you mention that."

Cassandra's face turned red while Augustina giggled bashfully.

"I'm single," the redhead hissed. "Don't think we are in a relationship."

"Are you working for the night guard position as well?" said Augustina.

I faked a smile. "Why yes! To protect the greater good! I mean, how can anybody not love this place?"

I was being sarcastic, but I tried to keep my voice level or they would start guessing. Being in this stupid uniform and working at a job I never want to be back in was clearly getting to me. It was making me sick. Reminding me of my time as a night guard for the OTHER pizzeria. I hated those reminders.

"So," I said. "You think this place will be great?"

"I…think so?" said Augustina, a little hesitant. "Well, they did a lot, so I believe things will go well. I…sorry. I don't know why I am supposed to be on a team with you."

I blinked, stunned. "I don't know either."

"Oh, who can really guess?" said Cassandra. "You two having no idea what you're supposed to do."

"Can you shut up please?" said Augustina, turning to her.

The redhead looked offended, pouting.

Augustina looked back at me. "I just hope things will go well. I mean, I never know who you are before."

"You look a little too young for this job," I said. "I don't know you as well."

"And you look really old."

OK. That got me busting. I snickered as a real smile formed on my face. "I'm not old. I barely reached 30!"

"Yeah. I'm…a little too young. But there is another girl who is at the same age as I am."

I stopped, blinking. "Who?"

As if on cue, there was the sound of motorcycle growling. I slowly turned my head to see three black motorcycles driving towards the parking lot. One wearing a black vest bumped a road curb, sending her flying up in the air. However, she did this like it was a ramp before landing on the ground perfectly, stopping right in front of us. A few people scattered as the second one – a guy wearing all black – drifted the motorcycle straight as it slid across the road before coming to a stop. The third one – a guy wearing a brown jacket – braked…but not before the front wheel bumped into a bin.

The bin simply tipped over and all of the rubbish fell out.

"Whoops," said the rider.

I was dumbfounded by this. Let me get this clear. So, I met a girl who appeared really poppy. I wore proper clothes and now we have a biker joining us on the security guard team?!

The one with the black vest hopped off her motorcycle and took off her helmet, replacing it with a red cap and sunglasses. A fine-looking teenager girl with fair skin, dark purple eyes, lavender hair with pink streaks tied up in a ponytail through the hole of her cap and a chipper attitude. I was surprised by what she was wearing. A red cap with black sunglasses sitting on top of the visor, a black leather jacket with the Pizza Plex symbol on it, a red collared shirt, a golden necklace with the words 'MELODY' on it, a light pink and red belt with a golden buckle, black jeans and pink boots.

Her outfit looked more inappropriate than Augustina!

She might be fired for not respecting the uniform code if she didn't get rid of the leather jacket.

"Hello there, everyone," she said.

Augustina waved timidly. "H-Hi, Melody. Good to see you again."

Cassandra nodded respectfully.

The two other bikers took off their helmets. One was a guy with a dark blue mohawk and the other had dark brown hair.

"Cade, Mojo," said Augustina, looking at them. "Good to see you."

"You all look like you are going out on a girl's night," said Cade, the boy with the brown hair. "What is this? Some kind of slumber party?"

"Well, that is what I thought at first," I muttered.

Melody turned to see me. "So, who is this?"

"Melody, this is Vanessa," introduced Augustina. "She is also going to work for the night shift."

I raised my hand out to shake Melody's. "Nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too," said Melody. "I am just all ready to protect this stage."

"You're the vigilante everybody has heard of?"

"Of course! I do my job and now I'm doing my job right here!"

"You might want to watch out for her," said Cade jokingly. "Or one of the animatronics will get her ass."

Melody rolled her eyes, playfully kicking Cade on the shin.

"One of the animatronics you say?" said Cassandra, raising an eyebrow.

"You know something about this?" I asked.

"Somebody told me about what Fazbear Entertainment has done in the past," explained Melody. "But I didn't believe it. However…I looked back at the hiring advertisement and it gets suspicious with the 'not responsible for injury/dismemberment' thing."

I raised an eyebrow. So there ARE some people catching up on the whole shady deal with Freddy's. At least there were some sane workers I was with.

"I know!" said Cassandra. "That was the first thing that made everything seem off about this place."

"You guys think it is that much of a threat?" asked Augustina curiously.

Melody sighed. "I don't know. But that girl I talked to last night…she knew something bad happened at the…Brooklyn location. A lot of people are spreading rumors about the family entertainment center."

I nodded. "I guess we can all agree, kids. Freddy Fazbear is always suspicious. Even with the deaths they pathetically try to cover up."

Augustina stared at me with a weirded-out look.

"Just saying," I said, looking away.

"You're sure you are going to be fine?" asked Cassandra, patting Augustina's shoulder.

"I'll be fine," said Augustina. "It's just a tour. The sooner I see everything, the sooner I will know what to do."

"Yeah," said Melody with a smirk. "After all, we are night guards now."

Cassandra sighed. "Fine then."

"It's OK, sis," said Mojo. "Melody is a badass. She knows what to do!"

The lavender-haired girl rolled her eyes, smiling as she gave him an 'oh, you!' look.

"What about you three?" I asked, referring to the three teens not working as night guards. "What are you going to do now?"

"We are just going to have a look around the place," said Cade. "I heard that the chefs have spiked the pizzas that are ready to be served."

I gave him a look. "Really?"

"…no, I'm just kidding," he said awkwardly.

Mojo turned to Cassandra. "It's cool if you want to hang out with us. You might be on your own if you decide to look through the Pizza Plex."

The redhead stuttered a little. "Well…I was just planning to take a stroll through their shops…but…I don't think it would be worth it for me to look around without my friends."

"Then you can join us," offered Cade.

Cassandra raised an eyebrow. She was a little surprised to hear this. However, she took it seriously and nodded a few times. I didn't know if I actually felt it, but there was something that got her interested. She turned to Augustina, looking as if she was pleading for her permission.

Augustina smiled, shrugging.

Cassandra turned back to Cade, smiling. "Why…eh…sure then! Love to."

Cade smirked and Mojo wrapped his arm around the former's back.

Melody slowly turned to Cassandra, nearly robotically. There was coldness in her eyes.

"Mojo is my boyfriend and Cade is my best man," she said seriously. "They are cool with anyone, BUT if I catch you doing anything that is not kid-friendly there, I will take you down. Don't you even THINK about touching my man."

Cassandra dropped her smile and seemed to nudge a baffled Augustina away.

"WHOOF! WHOOF!"

Cade froze, his eyes widening. He immediately held onto Mojo tightly.

"Oh no," he said.

Staring at where he was looking, I saw a dog sniffing around. Its owner was currently walking to our direction, blissfully. It appeared that she might have forgotten the 'no pets' rule at the Pizza Plex. Or unless they changed the rules. Whichever you think makes sense.

"What?" said Cassandra.

"He's afraid of dogs," said Mojo.

Cade sucked in a breath as the dog seemed to be getting closer. He put on a fake smile, noticeably uncomfortable.

"We got to go now!" he said as he dragged Mojo away. "Life's too short…"

Cassandra followed behind them. She broke into a run since they were going to fast, but nearly tripped over.

"I can't run in those heels!" she exclaimed.

Oh. She was also wearing pink high-top heels on that day.

Augustina turned to me, confused. "What the heck just happened?"

I shrugged. "I don't know."

"You think that they will be good with each other?" asked Melody.

"Give them a few minutes and then they will be kissing each other."

"Wait, what?!"

"Well, it's like what teenagers do," I said, smiling to myself. "I mean, teenagers still do that! You know, like getting drunk, falling in random love, kissing and touching at the right time."

Melody looked worried. However, I mistook it as a sign to continue.

"I remembered the first time I ever went out on a date," I said. "Well, it was an experiment, but we tried to find some affection in each other. He invited me over to his house and I thought of having some fun. Some snuggles and some kisses."

Augustina swiped her hand in front of her throat, telling me to cut it off. Doing a 'cut' motion.

I stopped, laughing a little. "Apologies. Just remembered some good times."

"Cassandra will be good," said Augustina. "She doesn't go screw around with guys that much."

"It's all young love in the end," I said.

"You've been in love before?"

"When I was a kid, three times. But not anymore. You?"

Augustina smiled flatly. "Well all the time, but too many exes."

Melody frowned. "Sorry to hear that. Maybe I shouldn't have brought my boyfriend here."

"I'm pulling your leg, you know."

The crowd seemed to have gone slightly quiet. We all turned over to see a small stage set up in front of the Pizza Plex. Luis was right there, fiddling with the microphone podium. A group of people were behind him, possibly the team who created the Pizza Plex.

"Citizens of Vancouver!" he said. "No, I mean…people of Vancouver! No, no, no…I mean; good morning, Vancouver!"

There was some scattered laughter in the crowd. Augustina and Melody snickered. I smiled a little, cringing a little.

"Wow," I said blankly. "He is a dork."

The blonde man took out what must be reading cards and started talking while glancing at his cards.

"For decades, Fazbear Entertainment has been proud to provide children and adults alike with our services and imagination," he said. "We believe in combining fantasy and fun into one for the children. Despite several setbacks and recent events going on, we decided to revive our success into something new. Something that will bring a sense of nostalgia to you. Here, embracing the modern era, we have pushed ourselves to take on the bigger challenge. And yet, the Fazbear team has the ability to put a really stoic and nonchalant expression when dealing with our problems."

The crowd laughed again. I felt that he added that last line on his own because some of his team members behind him were glaring at him. Hmm…maybe he didn't approve of the deaths that happened instead of looking away from them.

"We believe that we can deliver something new for everybody to enjoy. A new center where everybody can have fun and hang around. A new era for everybody. This family entertainment center invites all of you to explore and enjoy the new modern style of our world. So, may I present it to you…"

I thought he was going to take out a pair of scissors, but then I noticed that there was no red ribbon. He instead took out a FLASHBALL GUN and fired out confetti from it!

BOOM!

The crowd went wild, cheering loudly. [1]

"…the new Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizza Plex!" said Luis. "know it. Fazbear Entertainment spared no expense developing the world's most extreme family fun center – Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizza Plex! At three stories tall, it's the flashiest, raddest, rockingist, safest pizzeria the universe has ever seen. Of course, Freddy and the band are excited to meet you! The new band of Freddy Fazbear is here to slay the stage. Utilizing the latest in animatronic technology, you can actually party with the stars themselves."

The door opened, presenting the whole new show inside the center.

"So, on your next birthday, let Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizza Plex make you a superstar!" said Luis, punching his fists in the air.

One of his team members went up to whisper in his ear.

Luis' smile faded as he turned to him. "Really? You want me to say it?"

"Shut up and say the line," said the guy.

Luis sighed. "'Disclaimer: Fazbear Entertainment cannot guarantee guest safety. Not responsible for injury/dismemberment'."

The guy whispered again in his ears.

Luis wasn't amused, turning to him. "We absolutely have no hidden danger to worry about. For now, come in!"

Everybody started to enter the center, already rushing to get in. The energy was so huge that it felt like the party just started.

When nobody was looking, Luis slapped the guy in the face, unimpressed.

Augustina and Melody exchanged confused looks with each other, totally bewildered about the added lines Luis was forced to do. I could agree the same in silence. I knew that Fazbear Entertainment was nothing but a team of greedy assholes. There was no excuse to that.

Before I could say a word, our tour guide came in.

"Hello there, ladies," said Jesse. A bulky man with a shaved beard and glasses. "I see that you are all ready for today."

"Nice to meet you, sir," said Melody. "All prepared and ready."

"Nice leather vest there. Though, some words of advice to the young ones."

Augustina looked worried. "Is it about the clothes that I am wearing?"

"Yes, but it is too late for that. Just remember to look confident and ready for anything because you will also have a day shift for today to get you ready for tonight."

I nodded. "OK then. I see."

"Let me show you the place so you can know about it," said Jesse.

We started to walk towards the Pizza Plex. I was feeling rather nervous about it. There was some kind of dread coming towards me because I knew we would be facing the animatronics really soon. Even though I had seen pictures of them on posters and the internet, I was worried that they might look and function the same way as the Brooklyn animatronics. I swore that I would never see them again, but…here I am. [1s]

Although, it was rather uncanny seeing the animatronics. The first time I saw them when I was a child, I was a little nervous. How unsettling they appeared as they stiffly performed around. The jaws with those teeth were really disturbingly human-like. Their eyelids would be black or dark like they were always half-lidden. I knew there was something off about them and I struggled to wonder how they managed they endear themselves to children.

It was almost as if me and Haywood were the only ones concerned about them. I sometimes feared if the animatronics would jump off and attack us with their deadly teeth! I would scream and hide under the table if I showed myself.

Would it be the same?

Would the animatronics be friendly?

Would they look friendly at all?

I didn't know that I was choking until I could feel Augustina tapping my shoulder. When I got back to reality, I coughed a little. It was like trying to spit out leaves in my throat. As I coughed, I noticed something.

Every cough, Augustina's glasses bounced upwards. She didn't seem to notice.

"You're OK?" she asked.

I gritted my teeth, scratching the back of my head. "I'm fine. Let's just get on it." [1]

We entered the Pizza Plex, arriving at the main room of the place. Passing by the empty ticket booths and the opened turnstiles, we were welcomed by a gigantic golden statue of Freddy. Spotlights shone around him, making him look like a spotlight stealer. Water squirted upwards from the sides while sometimes, they sprayed higher.

"How can anybody be sober about this?" I groaned.

"This is an interesting presentation I have to say!" said Augustina, admiring the colors all around us. "Just look at how they sparkle all over the place!"

"Yeah," said Melody. "This is like walking into 'America's Got Talent'! You know, like going through the tunnel?"

"Or Big Brother," said Jesse. "You see, Fazbear Entertainment has everything you have here. From shops, to restaurants – not always serving pizza – and fun rides for everybody to enjoy! You see those stores right there?"

From the sides, there were two stores. One that was called 'Faz-Pad' and 'Glamrock Gifts'. Glamrock Gifts must have caught the girls' attention because Melody immediately went rushing to it. She was distracted by the bag that was on display, picking it up and placing it under the light for it to shine.

Jesse's reaction was priceless. "Seriously. You really have to do that?"

Melody smirked playfully. "We are girls. It's what we do."

"Just drop it," I said. "Can't buy it now. Do it later."

Melody sighed, placing the bag right back in the store.

"Do you know the kind of food sold here?" asked Augustina.

Jesse laughed lightly. "Why yes. There are a different range of restaurants, each with its own unique tradition of cuisine. I hope you like Mexican food!"

I thought at first that the place would sell really unhealthy food or just different junk food. However, we arrived at the Mexican themed restaurant where it was already packed with people. The smell of cheese and hot pepper filled the entire place. It actually smelled nice as I caught a whiff of the spices used. As we looked from the reservation counter, I saw many waiters bringing out steaming tacos and rice bowls.

Or at least what it thought was supposed to be waiters.

It was robots. Robots with a plastic shine, white lifeless eyes. There were arms attached to them that held out a tray of food. When they got to the customers, it slowed to a stop and placed it down onto the tables. Some of them were gentle by patting children on their heads.

I narrowed my eyes as I tried to spot anything suspicious from the robots. But they looked pretty harmless other than accidentally bumping into things.

"What is the real threat here?" I thought.

"Using robots as employees," said Augustina. "Who knew."

"Don't worry," said Jesse. "We still hire human employees, so we have our staff bots to help out with the Pizza Plex. These bots are high and sensory technology, so they can assist our guests here. They can also interact with us!"

"Uh-huh," said Melody.

"So, do they function at night time?" asked Augustina.

"Nope," said Jesse, watching one robot that acted as a 'CAUTION' sign. "When the place closes, they would go back to their closets or rest in their spots. Some might go around, watching the place."

"And what if they are acting…funny?"

"If they try to sneak out of the restaurant, then that is when things aren't right. Make sure that they don't try to escape or do anything around here."

I nodded unconsciously. "OK then."

We moved around again and we were heading to another attraction of the room. After turning around corners, we entered a hallway that appeared to be race car themed. There were black and white squared flags all over the place, pink lights and large trophy statues. Entering another room, I saw through a window a huge room that was the size of a warehouse. And we could have guessed how they managed to fit THIS here.

There was a whole RACING TRACK in this room. Pit stops rested on the left side. Mountains rested on the right side with a golden statue of a female wolf. There were headlights, boxes and carts all around. It seemed to be set in a desert place as it stood out from the neon, futuristic style of the center. On the road, several small karts drove by, racing each other. On the ground, there were several buildings around, including a hair salon and a petrol station!

"A freaking raceway?!" I said. "Freaking raceway?! Freaking raceway!"

"This is WAY over the top!" said Augustina, grinning. "Imagine racing on that track!"

"This is Roxy's Raceway," said Jesse. "For those who are racing fans, this is your paradise. You get to race around the desert track while avoiding obstacles and power up! If that is safe for our guests, that is! Anyway, this raceway is for everybody. The track takes inspiration from iconic race tracks with every quick turn and ramp bringing a sense of excitement on the ride."

"There are buildings right there," said Melody. "Are they just attractions or real?"

"Believe us. They are INDEED real! A playground, petrol stations and a beauty salon! You can even get a fresh new rocking haircut from there!"

Melody's eyes sparkled. "Now that is a place I want to be at."

I squinted my eyes as I tried to see every detail of the raceway. It looked impressive, not going to lie. But I was searching for anything that appeared suspicious. No trapdoors in sight or dark secret door. There weren't that many employees around, mostly focused on the guests. It appeared harmless…for now.

There was a squeal from the other side of the room. We turned behind to see a couple of kids, looking at Melody

"It's her!" exclaimed a boy. "It's her!"

"That famous baseball player!" said a girl.

Melody raised an eyebrow, glancing at me.

I looked at her. "You shouldn't be dressed like this. You and Augustina are creating too much attention here."

The two kids ran up to Melody, taking out pieces of paper.

"Can we have your autograph?" said the girl.

Melody blinked, dumbfounded by this sudden question. Sweat started to roll down her forehead as she stuttered. A nervous smile grew on her face. She knew that it was stupid to look like a baseball player, but she needed to find a way to get out from those two ecstatic kids. The lavender-haired teen tried waving her hand, but they didn't budge.

"Can any of you help me please?" asked Melody quietly.

Augustina just smiled. "Just let them have their fun. To the devil with false modesty."

"I say let's get out of here," I said.

"Sorry, kids," said Jesse, stepping in. "But we are occupied at the moment."

This was going to take a while. He tried begging the kids to go, but they were so eager to get Melody's autograph. Eventually, she gave in with a cheeky grin.

"OK then," she said with a look that wasn't fake. "I'll write my name down for you!"

The two kids cheered as Melody bent down and took out a sharpie pen. She scribbled on their papers. However, it looked more like random scribbles than writing her name down. And after that, she made the time to scribble on their hats. For some reason, her hand was already in a flash that I couldn't see properly. It was as if she was writing everywhere.

"Thank you for this, Mel!" said the boy.

The girl smiled, pleased.

Melody chuckled, placing her hands on her hips. "No problem!"

The two kids turned around and walked off…and I was given a nice sight to see that there was pen scribbling on the boy's rear end.

"Ow," I said.

This reminded me of the time when Heywood tried to help out painting a large mural at school back when we were in kids. He tried to use the ladder, however he got his ass in the paint bucket and left a huge streak of paint on the wall for everyone to see that even led to the edge of the parking lot.

Melody's smile faded away. "Ah, crap, crap, crap...s**t!"

"Don't worry!" said Jesse cheerfully. "Kids like having autographs all over them!"

"That explains a lot," said Augustina.

We moved to the next room, stopping by a playground. It would be the platform and slide playground you would see at occasional birthday fun centers. The wall was painted in light colors like it was meant to be a kindergarten place. I spotted several ball pits around, filled with rainbow plastic balls.

There were several babies around, playing with their parents. There was a nearby bar where several adults ate them for a drink or snack.

"As night guards here," said Jesse. "You will have to respect your job, your employees and the attractions all around. We do not want you to destroy anything here. If you mess anything up, then good luck trying to get out of that."

"You have security cameras all around here," I pointed out. "Safety measures and technology. Do we need to be around every corner to keep this place safe if the technology is good here?"

"Well, Fazbear Entertainment has vowed to implement stricter security and a state of the art CCTV system to spot anything that is discriminating around here. However, technology can't solve everything. We need a human factor involved."

Yeah, because I am about to snoop around and steal all of your private data here.

"What about the animatronics themselves?" I asked. "Shouldn't you pay them to take care of the place?"

"Nah," said Jesse. "They don't really have the function to act like security guards. And they can malfunction. So, they serve as the entertainers and role models of the center."

"Entertainers and role models?" said Augustina. "I wonder if they are good role models for everyone. Especially knowing what…teenagers do." [1s]

"Why, hi there!" said an animatronic's voice behind her.

She turned around…and came face-to-face with a strange-looking animatronic.

"ARGH!" screamed Augustina, falling into Melody's arms.

The animatronic right in front of us looked really strange. It appeared small, about the teens' height. It appeared to be humanoid with its faceplate adorned with a sun-shaped head, two white eyes and a large smile. It was wearing a dark red dress with short arms, brown and yellow pants and bells around its wrists.

"Call me Sunnydrop!" it said, raising out its hand for a handshake. "Welcome to the Baby Play Area! You can relive your childhood dream right here!"

"Everybody," said Jesse, standing next to Sunnydrop. "This is Sunnydrop. He is one of the animatronics who goes around to entertain the children."

Sunnydrop placed his fists on his hips. "Howdy!"

"Wait," I said. "You're saying that you have animatronics who can talk like people?"

"New technology," reminded Jesse. "Things can go wrong, but we help the robots stay alive."

I glanced back at Sunnydrop who was staring at me. Those white plastic eyes looked so fake. Yet, there seemed to be almost life in them. It was nearly warm, energetic and kind. However, I wasn't convinced. I feared that this might be an evil animatronic as well. Who knows if this is manipulative? That would be worse than the animatronics at Brooklyn.

It was already giving me the creeps.

Putting on a blank face, I shook Sunnydrop's hand.

"Nice to meet you," I said, trying to stay calm.

"Don't worry, buddy!" said Sunnydrop. "I promise that I won't bite!"

"You…don't exactly have a mouth. Sorry."

"Yeah. I am aware of that. Though, it can be fun being a robot."

Melody and Augustina glanced at each other. They were both surprised by Sunnydrop's appearance and behavior. How an animatronic could function like a real human would. As they got themselves straight and introduced themselves to Sunnydrop, I gazed around at the playground. [1]

There seemed to be no other animatronics in sight. Hmm…

No, wait. I spotted more.

An entire cart of animatronics.

Cade, Mojo and Cassandra were there as two employees – both who must be looking after the playground – were showing them a group of puppy animatronics. They all looked like puppies, colored in white plastic and blue or pink stripes. The eyes were made to appear cute with large pupils. There were barely any teeth as only a tongue came out of them. The sound they made was also cute.

"YAP! YAP! YAP!"

"Remind me again," groaned Cade, shivering a little. "Why are we up close to a truckload of canines?"

"That is because I have to remind you not to get over yourselves with all dogs," said Mojo, turning to the worker. "Please, ma'am. Show us how these puppies work."

"This is a new addition to the Pizza Plex called the 'Yappy Puppies'," said the female worker, picking up one. "You can even buy one and keep it for yourself! Look at how cute and playful it is."

It started yapping loudly, wiggling around like a newborn baby. The other puppies in the cart followed, jumping up and down. It was like somebody was giving them a treat or a ball they could play with. Reminded me of the energy of children. Huh. Maybe half of the animatronics were just outright peaceful.

Mojo was smiling, smitten by the puppy in the worker's hands. Cassandra watched with her eyes shining in interest.

Cade had other thoughts. He was already flinching, leaning back with a disgusted look.

"SHUT UP! SHUT UP!" he kept shouting. "JUST SHUT UP!"

"Yap! Yap! Yap! Yap! Yap! Yap!" This only led the robot puppies to bark more.

"GO BACK TO WHEREVER WHO CREATED YOU, ABOMINABLE DEMONS!"

"Sir!" said the male worker, grabbing Cade's arm to shut him up. "Be respectful towards them. They are a brilliant and sensitive group here. They hold a special place in the hearts of children."

The robot puppies cooed, their ears bending downwards.

My eye twitched as I tried to keep myself stoic.

Cade hissed, his eyes hard and unmoved. "They hold a special place in the hearts of criminals."

"Really?" said Mojo. "That's the best you can think of?"

"Well, dogs are known to be really threatening creatures, not to mention having fleas, a jaw filled with sharp and deadly teeth, and an obsession with meat no matter the species. They are some of the world's most dangerous and stubborn animals in the world along with temper issues and lack of control of excitement."

The two workers gave him a look.

Cassandra pretended to not be listening, clearing her throat.

Mojo shook his head. "Sorry. My friend still has a fear of dogs."

"Let's just go," said Cade. "I don't like it here."

With that, Cade, Mojo and Cassandra left the playground. Cade was already RUNNING out of here, clearly trying to get away. Mojo sighed as he grabbed Cassandra by the arm and pulled her as they both chased after Cade. Something told me that this would go on for a long time on that day.

The two workers placed the puppy back into the cart, only for the female worker to realize something when she looked back at the cart.

"Wait a minute," she said. "How many Yappy Puppies are there supposed to be?"

"Why's that?" asked the male worker.

I rolled my eyes as I turned back to my group.

"We still have to move on," said Jesse, patting Sunnydrop on the head. "But thank you for introducing yourselves to our new security guards. Make sure to talk with him more soon, girls!"

Sunnydrop nodded and saluted. "No problem! Can't wait to play with you soon!"

Augustina nervously grinned as she followed the departing Jesse. Melody put on a polite smile, but it was genuine. I looked back at the sun animatronic, watching it waddle away.

Knowing that I couldn't drag behind, I followed my group.

As I walked through the hallway, I spotted a Yappy Pup sitting near a holding beam. [1s]

"Yap!" it barked.

At first, I decided to ignore it.

But when it came to me that there was a runaway animatronic already, I looked back.

The Yappy Pup was already gone.

OK. That was strange.

I rolled my eyes as I continued walking. Must have been my imagination. [1]

Jesse told us that he needed to explain things to us in the office room, so we were about done looking around the Pizza Plex. That didn't stop Melody and Augustina from looking around as we walked by. One thing that caught my attention was the gold course.

"Monty's Gator Golf?" I said, reading a sign.

There was a large room where it presented a mini golf course. I was awed with the whole golf course. Taking place in a jungle setting with green neon lights decorating all around, several crocodile attractions and even bones of a crocodile around, and outback objects all over the place. It was all in a green and purple palette. There was even a giant hologram of a crocodile character looking over the whole golf course.

It was like the jungle was alive! There were several people playing golf around or admiring the jungle attractions. They were even stopping by at some jungle or gold themed rides for them to sit back and relax. There were even some small pools where children played around, even using a water balloon launcher.

"Now that is really cool!" I admitted. I might not trust Fazbear Entertainment, but this caught my eye.

"Whoa!" said Augustina. "I'm surprised that you all made this."

"Where did you get the idea of having a mini golf course here?" asked Melody.

"We drew a lot of ideas of what our new Glamrock characters would like," explained Jesse proudly. "We even take inspiration from famous cult movies over time. So, we want to push ourselves to make this the biggest fun pizzeria ever!"

"I'm not sure if having ACTUAL water here might be a good idea," I pointed out.

"It's fine," said Augustina coolly. "It's a nice addition here to make the jungle appear realistic." [1s]

SPLASH!

I yelped as a water balloon crashed into Augustina and Melody. The two girls gasped, all drenched in water. Augustina coughed, spitting out some water before taking off her glasses to wipe them clear. Melody immediately looked around like a wolf looking for a rabbit to kill.

It turned out, there were just some kids messing around with the water balloon launcher.

"Sorry!" one of them called.

"You're right!" I said, turning to Augustina. "This is VERY realistic!"

"Now that's great," grumbled Melody. "We don't even have extras!"

"Well, that didn't turn out well," said Jesse. "Want to go to the oven to dry your whole body?"

A few minutes passed by, mostly due to waiting for Augustina and Melody needing to replace their shirts and vests with dry clothes. Once we were out, we made our way to the office room for the security guards. We travelled along a platform hanging above one of the hallways and entered it. The room was coated in a mint green color, there was a table in the middle with chairs surrounding it, a whiteboard, several printing machines around and a video projection on the left wall.

Jesse took out a box from the nearest cabinet and placed it on the table. As me, Augustina and Melody sat down, he took out some heavy black flashlights, walkie talkies and some wristbands. These wristbands were shaped like Freddy Fazbear, but there were actual screens on them.

"Take these," said Jesse. "You will be needing them."

"What do these watches do?" asked Augustina, slapping one around her wrist.

"These will help you look around the Pizza Plex. They are the most important and you must take care of them properly. You can use them to check cameras in an area you are at or other rooms with a camera. The whole Pizza Plex is a maze, so you're gonna need to use your wristwatches as your map."

I nodded as I took a flashlight and a walkie talkie. I placed my wristwatch onto my wrist. When I did, it nearly felt like the same spy watch I used before in the past. Maybe I could use that wristwatch to find any hidden footage or data, but I had to be careful. Maybe Oswald might know how to hack into them.

"So, onto your shifts," explained Jesse, sitting down. "Let's talk about the basics. Your job is to make sure that nothing would happen during the shifts, especially at night time. Or anything that can cause harm or interruption to the Pizza Plex."

"Right," said Augustina.

I raised an eyebrow. This reminded me of when I first got my job as a security guard at the previous pizzeria. Was this going to be the same or harder than I thought?

"It is important that you must be healthy and awake for the shifts. Especially at night time. Sleep is an important factor of the human body, so if you ever get tired, then you're going to collapse during your job. Please make sure to take rest between shifts to stay awake. If you see hallucinations or hear voices during the night shift, please dismiss them."

"Wait, what?" I said.

"It would be all in your mind in the end," said Jesse, waving my question off. "Anyway, if there is a major incident going on, please do not call the police…yet. Please contact the company service number and explain to them everything you might have found horrible. Under company's rules, do not try to copy security footage or you might be fired from your job. Things you have to call us about first include disappearance, death or dismemberment."

I frowned, feeling really uncomfortable hearing this. Not responsible for injury and dismemberment, huh? I was about to protest, but I stayed quiet. That would give myself away as the mole.

"Remember, if you tell any lies or bad rumors about this place, or even mention the animatronics as 'murderous', you will be fired on the spot. You will also be penalized financially, so be careful."

I nodded nervously, gulping a little. An uneasy feeling stirred around in my stomach.

"Finally," said Jesse. "Please take care of our special Glamrock Animatronics because they are our main attraction of the Pizza Plex. There is something I should have told you. Not only do they have to be protected for their shows, but they may walk around at certain times. Make sure they are not damaged and if anything, report to the manager."

I let that information sink in. So they were somewhat aware that those animatronics might move. But…do they know that? Wouldn't they try to shut them down first? How would we know what to do if they moved around?"

"Any questions?" asked Jesse.

Us three girls stayed silent as we waited for one to talk. However, none of us dared to smile or clap. It was silent. A sense of dread of this CURSED place. This damn, cursed place. Maybe I already knew that, but both Augustina and Melody were new to this.

Eventually, Melody raised her hand. "So, we can't contact the police about anything bad that happened. But let's say if there are criminals around. Is it OK if we…I don't know. Fight them back?"

Jesse stayed quiet as he stared at Melody blankly.

"…no," he finally said, but it was clear that he didn't know the answer himself.

Melody huffed. "And are we allowed to use the rides in the center at night time?"

Jesse looked unamused. "No."

The lavender-haired teen appeared disappointed.

"'No'," said Melody nonchalantly as if taking a note down.

I groaned to myself. "We are going to die."

Augustina sighed. "Unless they are lying. I doubt so."

If only they knew what I went through. "Oh, for God's sake."

"Yeah…we didn't take too many precautions. We thought it was just a safe place."

"Freddy's is anything BUT a safe place. This is what I hate about it."

"We didn't take Vanessa too seriously. I didn't take her word seriously. I just wanted some action."

AN: You ain't doing it, girls. You might not know what she is going to do.

To be honest, most of the tour around the place takes a lot of inspirations from Deblod100's 'The Misfortunate Wonderland' story since I have no idea how to describe the settings of the Pizza Plex. I am nervous that I might be copying their story at some parts and some parts may be too similar. If that is so, please let me know about it and let me know if there are things I should change.

This is mostly a chill chapter as we get a proper tour through the Pizza Plex after Melody's own personal tour.

Cade getting afraid of dogs is probably one of the best (King Halloween wants him to be afraid of dogs) and him facing the Yappy Puppies are a reference to the movie Abominable.

Luis ending his speech with a literal BANG is a joke I came up with myself because why cut the ribbons open when you can shoot out a rocket made from confetti?

Augustina being spooked out by Sunnydrop is a reference to 'Loo Loo Land' from Helluva Boss.

Everybody is getting slightly nervous or awestruck by the new Pizza Plex. I made sure to put in with Melody's after-thoughts about what Elena told her. Vanessa thinks a little pessimistic, but checks for anything and finds...not that many suspicious things.
