To answer one's question, mmm, no. The Yappy Puppies are not made to be murderers.

Now, I nearly forgotten about Gregory, didn't I? Well, let's see his and Elena's reactions to the Pizza Plex. At this point, I am a bit worried that this story might become OC-heavy, so sorry about it. However, I will make sure that each of the main characters have equal length and focus, especially Gregory and Vanessa since they need their backgrounds to really shine! We need more character interactions in this story.

Hey, 2021 is nearly over and we are two-three days till 2022 arrives. You know what that means~!

Chapter 7 – Up To Me and You For This

Elena's POV

Have you ever been to a family entertainment center and ever wondered why it might be bad for everyone? Well, it can be fun at times. All the big slides you see, the ball pits, the go-karts they might have, laser tag, arcade and the epic big slide? Oh, I remember the epic big slide. It would be a cool way to fly off into the air like a bird.

But there can be some known bad facts about one center. I'm not talking about bad reviews or a really bad service. Forget like the smelly food or the occasional wet floors you would see or the ball pits that smell like salty water from a 4-week no wash. The Pizza Plex was more on…the company's reputation in the past.

I still didn't believe that it would be safe and the company was looking for ways to secure their profit.

But…not all countries are aware of any devious actions of one franchise known in the United States.

When me and Gregory arrived, it was already packed with people. It hadn't opened and yet, everybody was waiting for it like waiting at a concert. I never saw so many bright colors in my life before. There were a lot that reminded me of bubblegum balls all around in a bucket. I could see pink, then blue. A yellow standing out. But that was just from their clothes. I could only see a wave of black haired heads along with some blondes, brunettes and a few redheads. Some of their hair was white or colorful.

Gregory was already bouncing in energy, hyped for the opening. I still felt that this might be bad, but I had to put on my brave face. I couldn't let him know how I thought about it. He was too young for this cruel world and needed to grow first.

Besides, looking at the design of the Pizza Plex from outside, I wondered if they were going to be more sensible with their style and tone. Granted with the new technology and modern era, I kind of expected them to have something new rather than plain and boring. I mean, I like the 1980s vintage s**t when doing arts, but just going through an old, worn-down building made me feel a little numb.

Hopefully, not too many grey walls and narrow hallways.

Or creepy-ass animatronics for sure.

"Isn't this exciting?" asked Gregory, tugging on my sleeve. "This is like going to the biggest birthday party in the world!"

"I would kill for a real party with a larger dance floor," I said grimly.

"Don't be so complaining! It might be fun there. Who knows? Maybe we can order some pizza. Ride in those new go-karts. Maybe hang around in the lounge?"

I tried to change the subject a little. "Tell me, Gregory. Are your friends going to hang around here?"

He shrugged. "I don't really know. Jeff already has plans on coming here, but not today. Dave and Lisa are unfortunately away for the holiday. They said it looks really cool. However, when I tried asking them this morning, they said they have other plans."

"What? But, I mean, they built a huge mall that nearly costs about three million dollars of the Golden Gate Bridge and none of them ever notice how humongous that beast is?"

"I think it is due to family things and stuff." Gregory giggled to himself. "Classic family drama. Besides, they said that their parents want to look up about the Fazbear Entertainment. They actually never know about them before."

"How come you know? I don't think you ever came out of Canada for once." I quickly did a verbal backspace. "No offense, kid."

Gregory sighed. "I just…look on my own. It's just that when I first saw the advertisement in Mum's newspaper, that is what caught my attention. I stole Dad's phone and researched it and when I saw the picture, it got me."

"So it's just the looks and what they have to offer that attracts you," I said.

Gregory smiled. "Yep. What about you? You have been up close to Freddy Fazbear before."

I stayed quiet. I wished he never brought that up, but look at how oblivious he was! I thought back to when my family came over to Freddy's. It looked alright at first. I thought that it was going to treat us well. Dad went giddy on the animatronics, especially after looking into Foxy's Pirate Cove. But then, when he applied for the night shift, he…was never the same again.

I couldn't even find the courage to say it. I wasn't even sure what to say about the Pizza Plex. I hadn't have any interest in it and I was already judging it. I decided to just take a look and take down notes, but still hold onto my precaution of the animatronics.

"I don't know," I said simply. "It was boring when I first saw them. Maybe the new band will look much better."

"I bet they will," said Gregory. "Maybe they can get some ladies heads over heels!"

He attempted to do a wolf's whistle, only to end up blowing a raspberry.

I chuckled to myself, trying to pat him on the head.

The manager made a huge speech to the crowd after a few minutes. I tried to listen, checking for any sorts of lying or malice. However, he seemed to be an ordinary, sane guy. He even snuck in a cheeky comment about Fazbear Entertainment. I like that guy. The surprising thing was that when he announced the Pizza Plex to be opened, he took out a HUGE flashball gun and shot out confetti.

Gregory immediately backed away, shocked by the sudden shot. For some reason, I immediately grabbed onto him.

Everybody started to enter the center, already rushing to get in. I was left standing as I held onto the shocked Gregory. Still recovering from the scare that the manager made. He was a little confused about the use of a firework gun, shivering a little. As I patted him on the head, I started to wonder where they got those kinds of weapons.

Gregory quickly snapped out of it and returned to a calm composure, trying to push out of my arms.

When nobody was looking, the manager slapped a guy in the face, unimpressed. The guy who told him to tell us that they were not responsible for any injuries.

I grinned in delight. That was something I always wanted to do with the manager of the previous pizzeria. [1]

Trying to act as a responsible parent, I told Gregory that he could go on any ride he wanted, telling him I didn't give a…I mean, did not care about going on anything at the moment. As long as we didn't go near anywhere sketchy. However, Gregory decided to take the chance to do some sightseeing. I thought he would want to go on the rides, but I guessed that he wanted a closer look at each attraction before deciding on a ride.

And, when we went through the entrance, we were greeted by this:

"Hey there," said a robotic voice. "Take a map."

Gregory yelped a little and when I turned, I saw a strange-looking robot that was nearly close to me.

This sported a white, oval-shaped head with cutouts for two cartoony, derpy-looking eyes and two ovals placed on the side of their head. There was a light grey, pointed decal placed under each cutout and a segment that ran through the middle of the eye sockets with a blush on the face. Its torso was composed of a singular, segmented metal spine with a yellow chest suit piece, buttons on the half of it, the word 'STAFF' painted on the back of the chest piece and two wires poking out from the sides of the chestpiece's lower half which connected to their three-fingered hands. The lower half was made up of a singular piece that grew its length with two wheels at the bottom. It seemed to have two small storage folds which contained maps and it was wearing glasses and a white hat.

I blinked a little. "Um…hi?"

And it was nearly a head shorter than me.

"Hi!" it said. "Please take this map."

I blinked again before seeing its hand reaching out, map ahold. I smiled a little before taking one. It then rolled away.

"That was weird," said Gregory.

I rolled my eyes before using the map to help guide me. I took a look at it and by the looks of the different rooms, I was surprised of how this Pizza Plex improved compared to its previous restaurant. They weren't kidding that they made this the largest family entertainment center in the world. No s**t.

I was surprised that there was an actual laser gun battle arena. They called it the Fazer Blast Arena. It was mostly in the dark with green and pink lights in futuristic patterns on the maze walls. There was even a second level that you could climb onto! Hope that wouldn't be a problem for the kids when running up the stairs with straps and a vest all over them.

Gregory's eyes were widened, amazed by the sci-fi themed arena. I had to admit that they did a good job of making a wicked laser gun arena. Though, it felt a little scary since it looked nearly dark.

"Free map," said a familiar voice.

Gregory yelped and nearly jumped into my arms. I turned around to find another Map Bot, handing a map at me.

"Free map," it said. "Take it."

I quickly took it before I pulled Gregory away. OK. That was creeping me out a little. At least I got another map for Gregory to use instead of needing to share one.

We came across a huge room that was decorated in pink, glitter and neon lights. It was actually mostly a dark room, but there were neon lights all around. It gave some kind of cinematic movie star feel to the place, designed to be like a mall room.

In the middle were several large holding beams that reached from the ceiling to the floor with advertising displays on them.

On the left side, we saw several stores up and ready. Of course, they sold toys and merchandise, but there were some other brands there. This attracted some teenagers as several girls were fawning over.

On the right side, I spotted what must be the green rooms. The green rooms for the members of the Glamrock Animatronics I mean. Each of them were decorated in the likeness of the characters with a small black stage with lights on the edges and a curtain at the back. Posters, decorations, lights, movie equipment and coaches decorated the rooms. Each of these rooms had a window with curtains wide open.

"Whoa!" said Gregory. "They really made those for the Glamrock Band?"

"It appears to be," I said as we approached the first room. "Maybe it is something extra for us to enjoy."

"Do you think that they will be around here as well?"

I scoffed. "Highly doubt that. There isn't any indication that they can have a free-roaming mode. That is all I know so far."

"I know, but maybe they can. It is like going to the green room of your favorite celebrity and getting to meet them!"

"I don't think I am looking forward to the Glamrock Animatronics."

"Someone is being a little shy here!" said Gregory, shaking his finger.

I gave him a look. "Shut up. I'm not shy. I am apathetic."

The first room was mostly in pink with light green assets. It appeared to be for Glamrock Chica judging by the feminine tone of it. It appeared to be party themed since we could see pizza boxes on the floor and pizza decorations. There were some cutesy or food decorations all around in the place, emphasizing the chicken's love for snacks. There were a few balloons on the left side including the letter balloons that read 'PARTY' together.

"This one looks rather girly," I said. "There is some plastic food around, but what do you say? Some of them look delicious."

"Seems to be her thing," said Gregory. "Pizza must be her love interest."

I snickered at that thought. "I'm not sure about this room. Would you want to stay in this one?"

"No. This one's for more girls. Like you."

Awkwardly, I took that as a compliment. "Why…erm…thank you."

We came to the second one and I immediately guessed it to be Roxanne Wolf's room. All in a bright purple color with neon green assets. A cool dark room with a racing theme. Race flags all over, wheels, wrenches and trophy cups decorated the place. This really fit the punk style of the Glamrock Animatronics. It immediately became my favorite because of how eye-catching it was. However, I was caught off guard by the smell. Was that petrol fuel?

"Whoa!" said Gregory. "This one is really sick!"

"Yep," I said. "I would want to stay in that one."

"But isn't Roxanne a girl? Why would she be interested in a sport that is so dangerous and rough?"

"Girls can act like boys…and she IS in a rock band. There needs to be a tomboy around."

"Oh. OK then. Not sure about the word 'tomboy'."

I chuckled a little. "I'm a tomboy."

"You don't look like one," said Gregory. "You just look like a modern, winter, normal girl who doesn't have enough money to buy good looking skirts."

There was a long moment of silence.

I blinked. "Anyway."

The next one must be for the one and only Montgomery Gator. Oh, this one was all in green with apple green assets. It was heavily based on the jungle with leaves decorating the sides of the room. There were random yellow dots all around as if to represent fireflies. Plants, wooden barrels and some balloons decorated the place. However, it nearly appeared to be the messiest as the couches were slightly out of place and there was a gold club lying on the floor.

"This feels like we are in the jungle," said Gregory. "Don't you think so?"

"Almost like in a safari," I said. "He must really love the wild, I tell you."

"But shouldn't there be…pools of water around? He's an alligator!"

"And he's a robot," I said. "What is the difference between alligators and robots?"

Gregory thought. "Umm…they can have the same animal instincts!"

"And they can't stay around in water. That messes up with their wiring. You wouldn't want a fire to break out here."

Though, it would be pretty cool to see a fire in the Pizza Plex. Or burning up the entire place. If I had a cocktail bottle, I would throw it in and then boom. Sorry, wait. Where was I? I got lost in a daydream.

The final one belonged to Glamrock Freddy and this one was heavily based on movie stars and rock singers. This one was all in red with blue assets. Completely different to the other rooms as it didn't have any hints of green color and the carpet was a dark turquoise color than black. It nearly appeared the neatest with Freddy dolls all around, bowling pins and bowling balls sitting on the ground, and neon signs in the shape of lightning bolts hanging on the walls.

"Changing my opinion," said Gregory. "This one is the coolest of them all!"

"This one looks like something from Hollywood," I said. "Freddy is the star of the show, but I was expecting a more expanded theme than just a simple movie green room."

"It is still pretty nice. I like Glamrock Freddy out of them. His room really says the same about him."

"Why do you like him?" I asked.

Gregory smiled. "Well, I like bears. And this one is the mix of a teddy bear and a rock star. He looks cool, friendly and his appearance looks nice. He can take any style, don't you think?"

"Well, yeah," I muttered to myself. "Compared to the dingy, stained predator of a bloodthirsty sucker back at the previous pizzeria."

Gregory looked at me. "Say what now?"

"It's cool," I quickly said. "I mean…it's pretty cool that they are redesigning the new animatronics to…appear like this. Don't you think so?"

He nodded, seemingly agreeing. Even though he had no idea how the original animatronics looked like in real life back in Brooklyn.

"Free map!"

Gregory groaned, turning to the Map Bot that was nearby else. "No thank you! We got one already!"

However, the Map Bot didn't seem to be convinced, turning to me. Sighing a little, I took it and placed it in my pocket. The Map Bot nodded before rolling off to bother the next person it can find.

Gregory turned to me. "Really?"

"Sorry," I said. "It was being generous! And besides, in case any of your friends want to see, we can give that to them."

Grabbing his hand, I pulled him along. I was already so hungry that I felt like finding a random restaurant and eating there. We were a little far away from where the food cafes and restaurants would be. Gregory still wanted to look around despite his stomach already growling.

As we made our way to the main food court, Gregory suddenly stopped. [1s]

"Gregory?" I said. "What's wrong?"

"I hear something," said Gregory, his face slowly turning into worry.

There was somebody yelling at a narrow alley nearby.

"H-Hey! Cut it out!" squeaked a terrified voice there.

Uh oh. Trouble.

"What is going on?" I thought to myself.

"Shall we see the problem?" asked Gregory.

I should have said 'no'. I remembered really well that his parents told me to make sure he stay out of trouble. Trouble is, he always gets into trouble for a lot of reasons. I didn't want to be in trouble, but there was some sluggish feeling of detachment. Before I could come with an answer, he was already making his way to the alley.

I sighed as I trudged to follow him. I got a better view of the alley.

Inside, there were two teenage boys cornering a girl who appeared to be the same height as Gregory. One of them was burly and had a sturdy build while the other was tall and skinny. Both of them wore ratty casual clothes, towering over the little girl. Gregory gasped, nearly taking a step back from what he saw.

"What do you think you're doing around our corner here?" snarled the skinny teen towards his victim.

The girl was already trembling. She was obviously crying due to her bloodshot eyes. Her small figure couldn't fight those two, so she was in no preparation to survive. She hugged her teddy bear tightly as her only comfort in this difficult situation.

"W-W-What?" she said, her voice shaking. "But I was just playing around here! I-I-I thought that this place is for everyone-!"

CRACK!

She had to duck when one of the bullies tried to punch her. His fist crashed into the wall, but it left a huge crack in it then it did any harm to him.

"SHUT UP!" he roared.

I pulled Gregory aside behind the wall. I knew where this was going and I didn't want him to get hurt in this.

"Gregory," I said. "Don't do anything. I am going to call the nearest security guard."

"No," said Gregory. "Those bullies are going to hurt her once the guards get here!"

"Is that really a good idea? To face these guys?"

"They don't scare me. I am scared for her safety."

There was another crack of the wall and the loud bawls of the girl. I bit my teeth, shaking in my jacket.

"Whatever," I said. "But in the end, none of us would come out uninjured while those jerks go scot-free."

Gregory narrowed his eyes. "Better than to know that the girl didn't have anyone around to support her!"

He immediately rushed into the alley. I tried to stop him, but my arm just slipped out from his grasp. He marched right in and held onto his fists.

I sighed, crossing my arms. "There he goes."

This couldn't go well, could it?

"Hey!" shouted Gregory. "Bloated potatoes!"

The bullies turned their attention to him, clearly annoyed by his presence.

"Back off her already! She had enough!"

The skinny boy narrowed his eyes. "Huh? Says who?"

"Says me!" responded Gregory.

"Or what?"

"Nothing. I'm just wondering why you have to go all angry at her. You're just attacking a defenseless person! Leave her alone!"

"Stay out of this, runt," said the fat boy. "Do not come close to this Mary Sue here."

"What do you even want with her? She is just a kid!"

"Half the world's kids get abducted and killed and you're trying to protect every single one? Pathetic. You know that kids like her can get hurt every day in her life!"

"Yeah," agreed the skinny boy. "So, we won't hesitate to hurt a little boy like you, am I right?"

There was some doubt creeping on his face. He gritted his teeth, trying to focus on the girl.

"I mean, out of fantasy and comics, you decide to run over here and take us down because you have the guts to do so?"

Sweat dripped on Gregory's forehead. He knew that it was stupid to run into a battle that he couldn't win, but he didn't want to leave the girl behind. And yet, the two of them were no match for those bullies.

"Surprised that you wasted your time on saving a little girl like she is a princess," sneered the fat boy. "Insufferable kids these days; stubborn yet headstrong. Why try doing things that you can only do in 20 years when you could just run away like a safe coward?"

Gregory shook his head, wanting this to end already. He was growing irritable. I suddenly felt fire from him. But he stayed in his spot. Unable to let this situation go.

However, somebody else appeared on the other side of the alley.

"Excuse me," said a woman's voice. "The hell are you doing here?!"

It was a tanned skin security guard. Wearing a pink, purple and black security outfit, and blue glasses. Her dark hair tied in pigtails with cherry decorations. She appeared a little short…like me. She looked like she was about my age which was kind of strange compared to the security guards I saw so far. But her outfit reminded me of some of the rainbow outfits some guards chose to wear. Possibly to fit with the style of the Pizza Plex.

"Oh, great," groaned the fat boy. "More of you?"

"Unless you want to be COWARDS on the fact that people are going to come here to see what is going on," said the security guard, looking livid. "I say you stop right there. You know you do not want to do this."

The fat boy just snorted. "What's a beautiful thing like you doing out here? Looking for some strawberry milk and a new pair of necklaces?"

"I was just strolling around the mall to do my job and then I heard some suspicious sounds. Good thing I found you here!"

"Who even lets a girl be a security guard here?" said the skinny boy. "And still looking so…whoa."

The security guard wasn't pleased. She appeared nervous, but she didn't hesitate to stand down. "I said I'm just doing my job. Now back away from the child right now or else I have to pull out the big gun."

The two boys glanced at each other and chuckled. They looked like they had the upper hand of this. Their attention turned away from Gregory and the little girl, and they approached the security guard menacingly.

"Back away so that we can go to you?" said the skinny boy.

"That is not what I meant," said the security guard, sounding fed-up.

"Aw…are you going to cry?"

"You're making me sick already. I think you need to stop and stay still."

"Oh, you want us to stop?" taunted the fat boy.

As the two boys and the security guard argued, I continued to watch, peeking from the wall. Gregory was already hugging the girl, patting her on the head. Poor her crying and breathing rapidly, unable to keep herself calm. Gregory was doing his best to comfort her, but by the look of his nervous expression, he looked like he couldn't stay brave for long.

I looked away, hearing the same words thrown back from the security guard and the two jerks. Sighing, I leaned back against the wall. I didn't want to try to get involved with this. This was out of my comfort zone and not really worth it. I might be a little mean, but there was nearly nobody else around here to help. Nobody seemed to notice the incident.

Those two assholes fit the first type; the manipulative and greedy. They just try to go under your skin and get inside your head, so that they could torment you all day and all night. Those are the main types of bullies in the world at the moment if they didn't have a solid reason why. Try standing up to them without a plan, they take you down easily.

I faced those kinds of bullies my whole life. You couldn't blame me for being reluctant to go in. It was actually scary for me. I didn't want to face them again. Not again. I didn't think I was ready to go take on those bullies; different people, same attitudes. No matter where I go, there will always be pricks around who look down on girls like me. I really wanted to show them a thing, but I would be the one to get caught then bring actual justice.

I thought of walking away until-

THUD!

There was a loud thwack.

I looked back and saw the security guard, panting heavily. Either shocked from kicking a person for the first time or anxiousness from not being able to get those two down on their feet.

"Really?" said the fat bully. "Is that all you can do?"

The security guard was puffing, trying to come up with a comeback. "No. But…thanks for asking."

"You know what?" the fat bully snarled. "I wonder how much you can fight at THIS angle. Looks like we are going to have some FUN here."

He grabbed her by the hands and pinned her against the wall. The security guard yelped, her eyes widening at what she got into. She started squirming, nearly trying to reach something from her vest. She kept grunting and clenched her teeth several times as she struggled to move around and away from the meaty hands.

The little girl cried harder as she hid in Gregory's chest, scared by what was happening. Gregory could only hold onto her head, but was also scared to see what was escalating.

The skinny boy smiled creepily as he slid towards the security guard.

"Oh," he said, cracking his knuckles. "I am going to enjoy this for good."

"You know you aren't going to get out of this!" said the security guard, breaking into a sweat.

"Or you would die trying."

Seeing this, I realized that I shouldn't hang back. Now, somebody is about to get hurt! A security guard and I found the feeling of not leaving her alone. A civilian couldn't help out, could they?

Screw it…

Despite my reluctance to get into a fight, I growled and stepped into the alley.

"Hey!" I called. "Have room for one more for the 'fun'?"

Confused, the bullies turned their heads towards me. [2]

Without waiting for a response, I ran in and kicked the fat bully right in the face. The security guard gasped, surprised by this. The skinny bully gasped as well and tried to tackle me, but I quickly got out of the way and roundhouse kicked him. It turned out, I kicked them in the face, so it took them a while for them to recover properly.

"Whoa!" said the security guard. "Didn't expect that!"

I turned to Gregory. "Get her out of here! Away from this alley!"

"But where do we go?" asked Gregory.

"Don't ask that. Just go find an adult or someone!"

He didn't need to ask more when he spotted the skinny bully getting up…and whipped out a SMALL KNIFE. Letting out a small 'eep', he grabbed the little girl's hand and pulled her out. I watched as they ran away before looking back at the skinny man. He tried stab me by swinging his weapon at my head, but I dodged and kicked him down

"Heads up!" called the security guard.

I ducked as the fat bully tried to punch me from behind, but his fist missed. I took this as an opportunity to swing around and roundhouse kick him. However, since I aimed for the chest, it had no effect. He grabbed me by my ponytail and threw me down onto the ground. I only managed to land onto my knees and hands as I watched the security guard quickly grabbing him and slamming him to the wall.

He collapsed on the ground, but still had the energy to move.

"Elena," I said, not knowing why I had to say it.

The security guard smiled. "Ah. My name is Augustina."

"Our names rhyme."

The skinny boy charged, but we simply took a step away. He crashed into the wall, tripping over his own feet.

Augustina turned back to me and put on a cocky smile. "I don't need your help, fellow citizen. I got this!"

WHACK!

That was followed by the skinny bully punching her in the face. I quickly pulled her aside to the other wall, placed my hands on it and pushed my whole body to kick the bully in the stomach. He fell down again, slightly dazed again.

I looked back at Augustina. Stars were circling around her head, eyes were spinning around and her smile grew wider.

"You got this?" I said, annoyed. "You're sure, you got this?"

"Let's not talk in the middle of a battle," said Augustina, snapping out of her daze.

I immediately agreed when the skinny boy came back in with the knife. When he tried to swing it at us, I immediately bent back. Augustina quickly swung her fist around, whacking him in the cheek. However, the skinny boy was unfazed and tried to retaliate. The fat bully came back in, swinging a punch towards us. Augustina ducked, but I got hit in the face.

I grunted a little, trying to keep myself steady on my own two feet. He tried to punch me again in the face, but Augustina grabbed him by the arms and tried to pry him back. Due to his heavy weight, she was nearly dragged, but held on her own as he spun around. The skinny bully got back up and tried to charge towards me, but I quickly moved out of the way.

Augustina quickly used her feet to press against the wall and tried to push against the wall. With enough strength, the two hit the ground hard. Augustina was able to protect her face using her hands and tried to stand up, only for the skinny bully to grab onto her leg.

I quickly ran towards them and stomped on his hand hard.

CRACK!

"YAAAAAARRRRGGHHH!"

Well, maybe not the kind of hard…I was expecting. Whatever the case, Augustina managed to evade and quickly came to me.

The two bullies panted as they tried to get up. There were bruises on their faces already, but luckily no blood.

"You're OK?" asked Augustina.

"I am fine," I said.

"Then get out of here now."

Before I could argue back, they got back up. I didn't know why, but I pulled Augustina aside as I tackled the skinny bully first. He threw punches at me, trying to knock me out. I quickly jumped back before kicking him two times in the stomach. I didn't know why, but I suddenly had this urge to fight and all the energy shot through my veins. I wanted to let it up. Even when he was down on one knee, I took the chance to kick him two times in the bottom before using my foot to hit his neck and slammed him down onto the ground.

He dropped his knife and the fat bully noticed this. He picked it up and wrapped me around my mouth. I struggled, screaming and trying to break free. I kicked my legs up really wildly, not willing to lose in this fight. Augustina quickly grabbed his hands and placed one foot onto his back. With an easy tug, she took his hands off me, but the knife got NEARLY close to me.

SLICK!

It scratched over my cheek. I hissed in pain as it registered in my mind. Blood could be seen slightly dripping from the newly fresh wound. As soon as I was released, the first thing I did was to hold onto it.

Then, came a little bit of rage.

I turned around to face the fat bully. Augustina had to let go since she needed to focus on the skinny bully behind her. With that, I took the advantage to give the fatty a piece of my mind.

"WHY, YOU MOTHER…!" I screamed.

One whack using my arm across his face.

"F***ER!"

One kick in the balls and he squealed loudly like a girl. Maybe because I hit him harder than Augustina must have done. That didn't stop him from trying to hurt me as he grabbed me by the ear. I growled, using the wall again by placing my feet on it before swinging them up. He let go in shock and loss of concentration before I touched down and kicked him again in the stomach. He collapsed onto the floor again.

Meanwhile, Augustina kept dodging the fast punches of the fat bully. She was struggling to find a good angle to take him down, seemingly not able to go in for the kill. She appeared nervous in trying to fight back, but she wanted to do her best. Probably because this might be her first time fighting against other people.

I rushed up to her when I was finished mangling the skinny bully and kicked my foot upwards in the middle of his legs. He let out a squeal, his eyes widening and all of his hair strings standing up. Without waiting, I ducked and kicked my leg to trip the bully over.

"Whoa!" said Augustina. "How did you hit him like that? I tried the other one, but it had no effect!"

"When you did enough training," I said simply.

The two bullies were laid flat on the ground, dizzy and in pain from the fighting. The skinny bully appeared to be not done as he kept growling and slowly getting up. He still had the knife in his hand, swinging it around dangerously. With a strained, teeth-clenched frown, he stood up on wobbly legs.

"Maybe we should stop right there," said Augustina, obviously exhausted from the chaos.

"You know they won't say yes to that," I said.

As the skinny bully came to me, I walked towards him. He raised his knife up, nearly close to my nose.

I gave him a simple glare, before I took a few steps back.

The skinny bully snarled and was about to run.

I immediately twirled on my heel like a ballerina and ran towards him. I jumped forward and made the classic kung-fu kicking pose. In the speed of light, my foot landed a huge kick to his face when he turned around to look one more time.

Wait a minute. I WAS going through the speed of light! Just as I jumped up, everything seemed to go in slow motion. My body was suddenly glowing white.

Before I could register what was going on, I somehow managed the timing well and kicked him right there.

And with that, he collapsed onto the ground, finally unconscious and defeated. [2s]

The two bullies were finally down as much as I liked them to be. I checked for any blood cuts or if they weren't breathing anymore. Fortunately, they still were breathing, panting tiredly. There didn't appear to be any broken bones, but I could see the bruises on different parts of their bodies. The fat bully started to snore already.

Wow.

"Oh my goodness!" said Augustina, rushing towards me. "You're bleeding!"

"Huh?" I forgot about the cuts and bruises I got on my cheek. I lifted a hand to it, feeling the wet blood slightly dripping. I was wondering if there would be a massive blood loss, but thankfully there wasn't. However, I was still lost about the fact that my body suddenly had an aura.

What was that about?

Augustina took out a few wet tissues and wiped the blood off. It stung a little. Must be alcohol. She tried taking out two bandages, but I waved her off. I don't think I need bandages since they were just scratches and not too severe wounds.

After all the fighting, I couldn't focus on making a smile. All I could do was to nod gently.

"Thank you anyway…" said Augustina, trying to appear confident. "I didn't need your help."

"I only came here because of Gregory."

"Who?"

"Elena!" shouted Gregory's voice. "You're still alive."

I turned around to see Gregory running towards us with a small group of security guards. He ran towards me and tackled me around the legs in a hug.

"Ah-huh!" said one security guard, pointing his fingers at the two bullies. "Are those the terrorists?"

"That is a slightly emphasized term, but technically yes," I said bluntly.

Augustina smiled sheepishly. "We actually fought them back in self-defense."

"I actually fought first to help her. Sorry."

One security guard sighed, shaking her head. "Doesn't matter now. At least you two are safe. We do not want the police to come over."

"I think we should probably get them to arrest those two," said a second guard. "We can't let them go scot-free. You…" He pointed at me. "Might need to make a charge for attacking back though since you seem to have injured them."

"I-It's fine," I said. "I can pay."

"Let's just take them outside and call the police around," said a third guard. "Announce it outside the Pizza Plex."

After I gave them the money for taking part in violence, they went over to the bullies and placed them in handcuffs. With two groups working as teams, they lifted them up and slowly made their way out of the alley. As they did so, it attracted some nearby passers-by, watching on in confusion.

Some of them took out their phones. Great. I wished that happened when I was taking their ass down.

I bet they would freak out if they saw the white glow around me briefly.

I chose to forget it. I was probably hallucinating.

Me and Augustina watched as they carried the bullies away, nearly leaving us two by ourselves.

Or three…with Gregory.

"Is the girl alright, kid?" asked Augustina, bending down.

"Yeah," said Gregory, letting go of me. "I found her parents and they took her somewhere else safe. They were really nice to me."

I frowned, remembering why I got into this mess.

"Apologies for swearing," I said. "But...WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING ABOUT CHALLENGING THOSE ASSHOLES?! You could have got really hurt just now!"

Augustina put her hands up in defense. "OK, OK. Manners and language. If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't yell please."

Gregory smiled sheepishly. "Sorry, but I can't just let her be alone. That would be selfish."

"And would it be worth seeing those bullies breaking every bone in your body?" I snarled. "I have to look after you, so that you won't get hurt. Imagine what happens if your parents find out!"

Gregory sighed a little, looking down. "Sorry, Elena."

"Wow," said a familiar voice. "And yet, the silver plane decides to come over to a place that she would rather stay 10 feet away."

I turned around, my heart nearly stopping when I saw who it was.

It was Melody, leaning against the wall in the alley.

She was actually dressed up in her security guard outfit, though she looked more like a punk pop singer than an actual security guard. Probably due to the surprising choice of wearing an unexpected leather vest.

"Oh, hey," I said coldly. "You're the dumb white girl that doesn't check her health insurance."

"Oh hey!" said Melody with a sarcastic smile. "You're the pessimistic prick nobody likes!"

I rolled my eyes.

Gregory was disturbed and confused. "What did you call her?"

Melody quickly shook her head. "Oh wait, I mean, sorry for swearing. I meant to call her 'peasant'."

This time, I was burned.

"Uh…that sounds better…" I muttered.

I awkwardly looked away. Thinking that I was wasting time, I grabbed Gregory's hand and tried to make a run. However, Augustina stood in front of me, blocking my path.

"Where are you going?" asked Augustina.

"I…eh…going to…get another map?" I tried to lie.

"We…actually met each other last night," explained Melody. "Didn't get off to a good start."

"Because you two are up in this s**t show place," I said bluntly.

"Huh?" said Gregory. "What did you talk to her about?"

"She just had some bad beef with Fazbear Entertainment," said Melody. "Apparently, she is aware of the rumors and seems to know them more."

I sighed. "I just don't like Fazbear Entertainment for what it has done. That's all."

"It can't be all bad," said Augustina, trying to lighten things up.

I gave her a sarcastic grin.

"I mean, this place is great. They have improved the security technology, the hospitality of this place and it looks like it is going to have some good reception. Though, that depends on if we are able to keep this place safe for the night. I mean, no one is dying here."

Hearing that last sentence made my mouth twitch.

"So you're just that brave?" I asked, failing to hold the shape of my smile. "Or are you really locked out on what those fat-bellies have been feeding on like every damn ditz?"

Augustina's smile faded away. "I do not need to hear this."

"Probably you need to," I said, frowning. "I admire you for your effort just now, but it seems that you don't know what you're doing. Because whether you like it or not, you gotta admit that they are really shady."

Gregory looked concerned. "Elena. I'm not sure if Fazbear Entertainment is all that bad. Maybe they said something strange during that speech, but they are doing their best."

"Speaking of which," said Melody, stroking her chin. "Now that you tell me…remember what Luis was forced to say? 'Not responsible for guest injury'? Does that imply something to you?"

"No," said Augustina. "I thought that it meant people get hurt by their own accidents."

"That's where you two got it wrong, dummies," I said. "It is the animatronics. The robots. The main stars of the show! I am trying to tell you that they can malfunction."

"But aren't robots designed to be safe?" asked Gregory.

"Sorry, kid. But they aren't really perfect. Things can get messy in programming like a burnt toast."

"I think I can agree on that," said Melody. "But I doubt that an animatronic would try to harm a child. And besides, the Glamrock Animatronics look harmless. I know that since I got close to them once."

Augustina raised an eyebrow. "Wait, what?"

Melody's eyes widened, placing a hand over her mouth.

I turned to her with the exact dumbstruck look.

Gregory appeared disappointed. "Oh, man! How come you got to see them earlier?"

Melody grinned sheepishly. "Me, Cade and Mojo actually took a look at them yesterday. We couldn't wait!"

I growled, shaking my head. "You were screwing around in this Pizza Plex yesterday the whole time, RIGHT before your new job and the grand opening?!"

"Getting back onto the subject," said Melody hastily. "With how they look and styled, they appeared a little friendly. Their eyes glow sometimes I think, but that is just a creepy side note. Stand still in a spot like statues. Their teeth appear kind of sharp, but it must be plastic. Soft plastic."

"Well, appearances can be deceiving," I said. "Don't you feel paranoid around them?"

Melody thought for a moment. "No. I felt…safe around them. I actually like being around them. They bring some good company. I…think I could feel it."

I blinked, trying to believe that. I was surprised that she felt calm around them. Every teen would have their own opinions, but nobody could lie that the old animatronics in Brooklyn were creepy. And the pictures of the Glamrock band made them look heroic. For some reason, Melody sounded like she had a connection with them.

"Really?" said Augustina, amazed.

"I-I know it sounds strange," said Melody. "But I felt it. I felt…the goodness in them. I know it is strange."

Gregory's eyes were sparkling. "Are you actually friends with them?"

"No! I don't. I just…"

I bit on my lip and took a deep breath, nodding to myself. This was probably strange. It gave off a lot of suspicions, not including the Pizza Plex. If Melody actually broke in and found out that they were good people, then I wasn't sure if I should say anything else. However, I found it a little ridiculous to feel cold metal machines.

"I guess that I have to…watch the show to find out," I said. "I bet it will just be the deadly feeling of them wanting to stuff you into a springlock suit."

"You sound like Mojo too much," said Melody, pouting.

"You sound like Cassandra as well," said Augustina, rubbing her hips.

Gregory tapped me on the knee. "Look, Elena. I don't know what is going on, but I have to take their side. You're getting overtired. I get it."

"She had been thinking about this before coming here," Melody pointed out.

"With all this said," said Augustina, giving me a look. "We will 'take' your word carefully and gently. You might want to just stay out of this. Nobody really needs to listen to you."

"Did I stutter?" I said.

"Sorry. But how you said it wasn't really nice at all."

Gregory nodded, looking at me as if wanting to change my mind.

I rolled my eyes. "People aren't really nice at all. And your mind would even understand my point about this place. Face it, there is nothing changing that."

"Don't make it a lame excuse," said Melody, getting into my face. "You know what I would do? We find anything bad and then we take them out! I swear that if what you said is true, then I will rip the head of a deadly robot and post it on the internet!"

I blinked. "You would?"

"Now that's brutal," said Gregory.

A dog suddenly came by. It barked loudly, circling around me. Gregory stood back, shocked by this. I got distracted by it due to interest, but Melody patted me on the shoulder to focus on her.

"That's just an exaggeration," she said with a grin. "But I can put up with any fight. I mean, I wished I was in that alley fight just before. Too bad I missed out."

"Vigilante spirit, isn't it?" asked Augustina, adjusting her glasses.

"Don't get over yourselves," I said, crossing my arms. "It would have been a shame if you tried to carry all the dumplings in your chubby cheeks. I mean, it might go BANG!"

BANG!

That was when I found my face meeting the floor. A wet ball just smacked me in the face and despite being as soft as a cheeseball, it knocked me down. Probably because I didn't expect to see it flying towards me. My face smooshed up on the floor, recovering from the sudden blind shot.

The dog near me barked and ran off.

"Ooh!" teased Melody. "Now that does go out with a BANG!"

I grumbled under my breath and I rolled around, resting on my back. Slightly lifting my head, I saw three teens on the top of a balcony far away from me. One brown-haired, one blue-haired and one red-haired. Believe that was Cade, Mojo and Cassandra since you already know. And oh, Cade was holding onto a paintball gun, lowering it down after his mistaken aim.

"Oh man!" he snarled to himself. "I nearly got that dog!"

Mojo was grinning. "Dude! You hit that woman!"

Cade glared at him. "Don't put it that way."

"We should put that paintball gun away, guys," said Cassandra, sternly.

Unfortunately, a certain person saw the whole thing.

"Did you just do something illegal?" said a crazed-face security guard, making the three teens freeze.

Deciding to ignore them, I rested my head back onto the floor, embarrassed by this. Gregory sighed a little, lying down right next to me.

"We are both down now," he said, trying to cheer me up. "Aren't we? You got something on your face as well!"

I slowly touched the paint splat on my face. It was pink. I frowned, wiping it off. I simply jumped up and landed on my feet without using my hands. Melody was already snickering to herself while Augustina was trying her best not to laugh.

"OK," I said. "I didn't expect that to happen."

"Maybe there is a sniper animatronic here," said Augustina. "I'll take that down in my notes."

"Do you think they actually stash guns here?"

"I don't know. You are the one who told us the 'danger'."

"Look," I said. "What I'm trying to say is that it is hard for people to accept that Freddy Fazbear can become a new leaf. If you never heard what happened before, then you're living under a rock. Just…don't get too attached to the animatronics."

"How would you know all of this?" asked Augustina.

I sighed. I wasn't sure if I wanted to tell them, but I might just give them a hint. It shouldn't be too much and wouldn't explain a lot. I didn't even need to.

"My father used to work at the previous Freddy pizzeria," I said calmly. "It…changed how he saw Freddy and his band, and himself.."

Melody's confident façade slowly disappeared when she let that sink in. There was a look of actual doubt on her face before nodding herself. I wasn't sure if she was thinking the same thing I did, but she could tell that what…happened to my father wasn't pretty…and it wasn't common.

Gregory raised his eyebrow. Now that I revealed my thoughts, he was going to question me a lot. He didn't know much about the previous pizzeria, but he might be willing to get to the bottom of the case. He would, but I didn't want to answer all of his questions.

"I'm so sorry," said Augustina.

I opened my mouth to let her know that she didn't need to apologize. I didn't need her pity. However, I felt as if she understood a little. At least understood why I didn't exactly like Fazbear Entertainment. I glanced at Melody and I could see it. Her dark purple eyes. Becoming clearer than the last time I saw her. There was something connecting there since I was very close to them.

"Stay…the course…"

Wait. What was that? I froze, wondering where the hell that came from.

Even Augustina and Melody were confused by this. They heard it?

"StAy ThE CoUrSe…StAy ThE cOuRsE…sTaY tHe CoUrSe…"

Those whispers dissolved to be more distorted. It raised a couple of eyebrows here and there.

They finally faded away in the air.

"What was that?" I said to myself.

"Huh?" said Gregory, the only one who didn't hear the whispers. "What do you mean?"

Augustina rolled her eyes. "Just something. Anyways, we will be fine. If anything, then we will report it straight away."

Melody's eyes hardened, not so clear anymore. She could only give me a look that made it hard for me to read it.

I sighed. I was already feeling tired and I felt that there was no way to convince them to leave. They got a slight picture, but would they really believe it? Since there was a few more minutes before the main show started, it was probably the time for me and Gregory to go. I grabbed his hand and walked away.

"Sure then," I said, looking over my shoulder to see the two girls. "But good luck if you are able to share the news. You will just…immediately drop dead when you find out things that should have been kept by this company, 'security guards'."

Both Augustina and Melody glanced at each other, sharing confused and concerned looks. Maybe they might try to do something, but I didn't think they would even last a day if they chose to find out on their own. Nobody really got to get away with telling the hidden tales of Freddy's.

As me and Gregory walked away, the kid got a lot of questions.

"What do you mean about the...robots 'malfunctioning'?" he asked.

Crap. I accidentally revealed how I thought about the Pizza Plex. That would stick in his head for long. I decided to try to tell him to never bring it up.

"Shut up, Gregory," I said simply.

Gregory appeared confused. "Elena."

"Just please. I'm not in the mood for it."

I just hoped that he never brought it up again, but it looked like he would someday.

"OK then," said Gregory quietly, clenching his fists.

AN: Elena swears too much in this chapter and we have kids reading this! Now, we don't because this story is rated T for a reason...and another one that is significant for FNAF.

I love and hate those Map Bots I saw from the gameplay videos. Coming across one would put one in a heart attack...but then they switch to just kindly asking you to take a free map. How generous they are!

Gregory is the best child of the story. I wish I wrote more of him. :3

The look through of the green rooms is probably to shed light on the animatronics' characters since you haven't meet them yet. And I feel that their green room really tell us about who they are and what they like. This story will go into more detail about the Glamrock Animatronics then just making them attackers for the entire plot.

The fight with Elena kicking arse with the bullies takes inspirations from the alley fight scene of Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey. This is probably similar to how Black Canary saves Harley Quinn from two people who tries to capture her for an unknown reason. It is really fun making this as it is probably the best fighting scene. My choice of using 'Heavy Cross' paints a badass tone for Elena but also points out about her struggle. It even foreshadows on her eventual partnership with the rest of the gang!

And oh, Melody and Elena insulting each other is a playful reference to the 'Hey, You're the ...' joke from the aforementioned movie.

Cade accidentally shooting Elena and getting caught is a joke I got from SMG4. Don't worry, he isn't arrested!
