Location: Washington D.C.
Time: 22:30
On the outskirts of D.C lies one of the most recognizable buildings, the pentagon. Inside it's usually relatively quiet with only ghost crew of guards patrolling the area, but this night is no ordinary night, for a tall and man dressed in a peculiar green three piece suit with glasses and graying hair calmly yet quickly makes his through the empty halls of the pentagon with a black briefcase before arriving at a locked door guarded by two stoic US Army soldiers idly standing guard.
"HALT. I'm going to need to see an identification card and search your briefcase."The soldier on the left commanded.
The green clad man calmly handed over his ID and case before both guards immediately stood at attention.
"I'm sorry sir, They're waiting for you inside" The other guard said before rapidly unlocking the door via number pad and keycard.
In he stepped into the large rectangular room with a large conference table in the center he found the usually full conference table meant for thirteen people, plus more around the edges of the room, solely occupied by ten. The walls were cream colored and only decorated with the presidential seal on the far wall and a few TVs here or there with a large projection screen to the left of the door way.
"So glad you were able to join us, come have a seat" greeted the President from the head of the table beneath the Presidential Seal
He took his place and looked around to see the remaining nine. Five of them were aging men wearing fine black suits with varying tie colors and all sat near the head of the table next to the president. To the president's left sat the Secretary of Defense and State while to the right of the president sat the secretary of the Navy, Army, and Air Force in that ones that stuck out the most though were the ones in service uniforms that sat more toward the front of the room.
The first was sitting next to the Secretary of the Air Force and was a bald man wearing a dark green service suit with military ribbons on his chest and khaki shirt and tie. He was David Berger the Commandant of the U.S. Marines
Across to him was General Mark Milley of the Army. An older gentleman with graying hair who was dressed in a black US Army overcoat with military ribbons, white button up with a black tie,and blue pants with a yellow stripe.
Next to him was General John Hyten of the Air Force, another older and grey haired gentleman and was dressed in dark blue Air Force Service uniform with military ribbons as well.
Finally there was Admiral Micheal Gilday, a balding older gentleman wearing a dark black navy service uniform with white shirt and black tie.
The grey haired green clad man opened his briefcase and placed a laptop on the table while handing the president a two dark cream colored file with red diagonals around the edges and a large "Classified" stamp on it. While the president looked through the first file, he began his presentation with articles and photos from recent attacks from a terrorist organization.
"Gentlemen" he began in a calm and confident manner as the lights dimmed " we are currently in the depths of a war that is far different than those we have fought in the past. Terrorist groups like ISIS,Al-Qaeda, and most notably and recently the White Fang have emerged, using terror to spread their ideology or subjugate the human race below faunus."
He paused for a second before continuing "While the previous groups can be handled by more or less ground troops and joint military operations,The White Fang is the exception,"
The screen changed into a map of the continental US with red dots sprinkled across the map.
"This organization is different as it is a home brewed organization that has spread across borders, setting up operations spanning from the western world to the east, and have been proven to be a more challenging opponent than the other aforementioned also have the advantage of easy recruitment via the mistreatment of fausus. Their focus have been primarily focused on the US and Middle East where its the easiest to gain new recruits. An unconventional enemy requires an unconventional force."
He then changed the screen to a photo of a blue house shaped with a kbar knife through a skull and crossed dueling pistols with the words "Semper Paratus Semper Fidelis, Semper Venandi" written on the banner below the image.
After a short second he began again "The creation of a cross branch special operations unit called The Huntsman Unit should be formed. They will be the seal team six of seal team six and will undertake secret operations alongside other spec ops groups as well as individually without the knowledge of any troops or government.."
The Secretary of Defense then asked "Why would the US Armed Forces need another Special Operations unit when we have a multitude of others that can do the same thing?"
With complete confidence and non shalantness, he responded
"This group is set apart by their secrecy and cross compatible training. Delta force is technically secret and "Unknown" by the government yet is known by the public. This group will serve as a n absolutely secret group with no recognition by any part of the government and will operate under other special operations names, uniforms and weapons. Blending in as one of them before disappearing."
"So..." the President said with a pause while going through the file "you want to create an ace in the hole that no one beyond the people in this room knows about? Ain't that a bit Idealistic?"
"It is to an extent but I have faith that it is accomplishable with a reduced size and utmost for you second question, to the extent of the instructors, soldiers and spec ops groups they 're just any other soldier except to those in this room and one CIA operative who will operate alongside them as an informant."
"I'm assuming you have already chosen this said operative" The secretary of homeland security asked.
"I do indeed have someone chosen for that position but that shall be discussed later down the road." The speaker responded
"And how big will this new spec ops group you propose will be?"David Berrger asked.
"It would consist of two fire teams formed out of the best of the best of the best from the special forces of each branch."
"I presume that each branch would be represented equally in this unit?" asked Micheal Gilday Admiral of the Navy and the man in the dark black suit
"Yes it would consist of two warriors from each branch"
Mark Miller then asked "What would their training look like? You mentioned cross training between the branches. How would that work?"
"2 Sailors, Marines, Soldiers, and Airmen would go through each other's branch's special operation training course as if they were new recruits rotating till all members have gone through the necessary training. "
There was a long pause after his response before the Secretary of Defense stood and
Asked
"Are we in agreement in the creation of this new Special operations Group"
A nod and quiet yeses were shared between everyone in the room before the president stood up and said.
"Then the Huntsman Unit shall officially be created today and kept secret amongst as agreed?"
Another round of silent agreements and nods was had before he turned and addressed the Green clad man in the front of the room.
"I'll get all the paperwork done under the guise of a new unit of the SEALs" the Secretary of Defense said.
"You now have official clearance lead and spearhead this operation and thus you now now have the jurisdiction to begin your search for suitable candidates, "
"That won't be necessary Mr. President I already have my selected candidates." The now name Green Man said
"You Already have your selected candidates?" The president asked, confused.
"I have already read through their files, interviewed their teammates, COs, and themselves and have chosen them based off of this."Ozpin responded in his normal cool demeanor
"Im guessing thats what this second file here is."
"Indeed it is Sir, So shall we get started now, it would be best to get these warriors into their training ASAP."
"Then let us continue"
