In a turn of events, I felt ready to write a complex plot about other of my favorite topics, it might be because I have been reading a lot of police novels and Sherlock Holmes kind of things. Any way, things will get interesting and I hope every one gets hooked by the story.

W: murder, cursing, sex, etc. (I mean is a dark themed history, it's kind of expected.)
D: owning only the plot.

PD: So I am not by any way expert on the medical field or finance market, so don't expect to have a vivid and realistic description of the situations involving those themes, I do investigate with my friend google, but well, hope is clear enough. Let's say that in this universe things exist that way.

Deadly Pleasure.

CHAPTER 1

"5, 5, 4?… NO!, 5, 2, 5?... DAMIT! W-what's the number?… it was...arggg!"

sweaty hands rush over the metallic numbered buttons.

"The number you try to reach does not exist, please try again." A cold robotic voice came through the speaker.

"Damit! Fuckers..." trembling hands hung up and reached again for the public phone, the cabin swaying lightly. Again, the line opened and the number was dialed.

"No! No! No!... please I need it, i need it…" the desperate man yelled to the phone while clinging to the device, his knees failing to support while the transpiration in his body became stronger and his vision became blurry.

/

"Uchiha! to my office, now" the blond chief roared in the hall while she make his entrance to the station. Taking a sip from the cold coffee on his desk, Sasuke resumed his last inform, putting it away in the archive and heading to the chief's office, the ferocity of the order might lead to a good case, he taught, as he took his black suit coat, the uniform norms requested to be, and lead his steps to the metallic door.

"You wanted to see me Tsunade?" He said smoothly with his low voice. The blond woman only raised his eyes from the file in his hands.

"A boy disappeared: Zabuza Momochi. I want you to find him..."

"What? just like that? Tham Momochi boy always appears a few weeks later, why are you really assigning this to me?, go with missing people." Sasuke returned the glare, taking a seat with an annoyed face.

"I'm not asking you if you want the case." She retorted, lighting a cigarette.

"Come on Tsunade…, I can be more useful on that bank fraud Shikamaru has between hands." Sasuke retorted, aiming for the package of cigarettes on the desk.

Tsunade's fist crushed the package before the pale hand could even reach it.

"Don't forget... I'm your boss, so drag your handsome ass out there and find him."

Sasuke stood there, watching her with cold eyes, but in his insides he knew she was doing this for the precious public relationships between the commissary and the TV time.

"Fine." He ended, taking the file in his hands "Is there anything else I have to know?"

"The last time someone saw him, he was at his apartment. Downtown. And one more thing, make yourself invisible, I don't want any bad press prying into this."

Agent Uchiha left the building fuming, his coat and tie flew with the chilly wind as he crossed the street without even noticing the car almost hitting him. Fucking puppets, he taught. Yes, his boss Tsunade, the chief officer, was forcing him to please the wines of that rich bastard, his son has been missing for about three weeks, nothing new for a spoiled troubled child, the last time he disappeared, he had been found in a casino spending his fortune. Two weeks exactly he had been living in a hotel in Las Vegas of nothing but expensive wine, whores and cocaine.

Now, three weeks for the father had been enough to worry about, of course his blond grumpy boss had to give in, after all, the old bastard was the owner of many TV stations, stations that had a deal with the police to assign time for specific news and spaces. In exchange, some underwater special assignments, like Sasuke's new order, found the disappeared son.

Sasuke knew he was one of the best elements in the investigation unit, it was not a secret that he and a few other elements have closed the most tricky cases in the past few years. This fact got the black haired agent asking to himself what the fuck Tsunade had been thinking, analyzing every bit of information he decided to stop questioning and start making a plan, the sooner the guy appeared, the faster he would shake off this annoying favor he was accomplishing for his boss.

/

Of course he lived in the fucking loft of the highest tower, Sasuke thought as he make his way to the entrance. Three days after he took the case had passed, and even though he had visited every casino and water hole where the bastard was frequently seen, he hadn't had any luck at all. He knew that a leading clue was essential to crack the case, and three days of their absence was beginning to make him anxious.

Now, how the hell was he going to pass security without using his badge as an excuse?

Making a quick check up in the reflection of a nearby car, he stood a little too close to the door, taking at least 20 minutes to check up the movement around.

No one near… not even a soul. Maybe if he just needed to tell the security man from a delivery from Sir. Momochi, the bastard's father.

A few seconds later he made his entrance to the fancy lobby of the building, more like a hotel, with smooth jazz music in the background and marble from floor to ceiling.

In the security cabin a distracted woman spent the time flipping a magazine.

"Hey sweetheart." Sasuke broke the silence with a charming smile.

"G-good afternoon Sir." she rose up in no time.

"I came to see Mr. Momochi, can you open the elevator for me?" he included a wink at the end. Always his killer move, it always worked, at least on bars.

"Mr. Momochi? Is he expecting you? he didn't leave any notice about visits."

"Oh, I guess he didn't because my visit is an order from his father. I came to deliver something important."

"Is that so? You can leave it here and I'm sure he will retrieve it later." She was making hard for Sasuke to maintain the charming smile, and an easy going aura.

"That won't do, bunny, Is a personal message for him. You know, business. But it will be quick and when I come down maybe we can go grab a cup or something."

"Oh… well, I don't… maybe I can give you my number. And after my shift..." Bingo! the agent squeaked internally.

"Of course, so, can I ?" He made sure to make his voice extra low, while he stood before the elevator door.

The redhead girl stomped on a few steps and with a magnetic card and a password she got the elevator working, all cleared, he smiled once more to the girl before the door of the elevator would close. Alone, and inside the golden capsule, he shivered slightly, he was going up, way to tall for his liking.

When the doors of the loft opened, the clear view of the city sky line opened in front of him, and his stomach felt like a rock, his head dizzy and his palms began to sweat.

Controlling his nerves he takes a few steps into the apartment. 25 floors up… one step at a time Sasuke, one step at a time.

Breathing intensely, he concentrated his view on more important matters. Like how everything seemed in perfect place, like a magazine, there were fresh flowers on the counter, all the cushions on the large sofa were perfectly arranged and every cup on the mini bar was resting over a perfectly folded napkin.

Not a sign of anyone actually living here. With careful steps, Sasuke inspected every inch of the place, odly, every section of it was looking neat, too neat to be normal, as if the place was brand new.

The sound of his phone ringing took him out of his thoughts, and with trembling hands, more out of excitement, he took the call.

"Kiba, just in time..." He said, opening and closing the drawers of the room.

"Hey, Sasuke, you need to hear this. I think I know something about your missing man..."

"Start talking..." Sasuke knew Kiba was a reliable source and a fast informant. Yes, from the moment he dash out of the commissary he pushed the speed dial button of his phone, after three days Kiba had for sure something.

"Well, there have been some rumors of a big movement in the actions of certain TV broadcast chains."

"Don't tell me…. Momochi Group."

"Yes, apparently, there has been a change of name on the owner of the actions."

"And?..."

"Well, until yesterday the owner was Zabuza Momochi, today it is marked as Public interest."

"What? that doesn't make any sense… Do you know who did the movement?"

"Of course not Sasuke… You know this is confidential, I can not pry deeper, not for now."

"Right. I don't know where to fit this information, I really have nothing on this case, the guy just... vanished." Sasuke sighted, stopping his pacing around the place, he really was lost… he left no bar and cassino without a good search, he saw almost every security tape of each place.

"Look, I know you don't expect anything but tonight we have a gathering at the usual bar, I'll try to push the topic, maybe Ino heard something, I'll let you know. ok?"

"Thank you Kiba. Call me at any hour, please" Sasuke returned to the kitchen, the last place he would search, again.

"Sure, bye."

Kiba was, for sure, one of his best contacts in the upper world. They met in their early training days, they were both aspiring policemen at the police academy, but at the end of the program Kiba decided that being a policeman was not his ideal job, he did a complete change of life by taking a job in finances, specifically inside the stock market.

In one of Sasuke chases, Kiba and his influence in the financial world had been useful to crack the case, and from then on, he had returned to his help every time his cases had some powerful people involved, after all, numbers were always a reliable source.

This time, agent Uchiha had the feeling that the missing Momochi heir might leave some traces in his inheritance, which he knew were mostly inverted on the stock market.

A clever way to find a route or even a glimpse of his movements, but this time, he had no idea on how to read them.

He finally re-do his steps to the elevator, leaving hurriedly after taking the red hair security guard number, more out of her insistence than to his pleasure. Frustrated he returned to the Special Investigation Unit building, he had left the order to search through the city cameras for any sign of the man.

He collapsed in his desk, taking on the left messages that were on his desk during his absence.

His phone quickly rang and a frenetic voice came

"Uchiha! any good news on the case?" Tsunade growls.

"Not really, I have some clues but nothing clea-..."

"I thought you had a glimpse of finding the boy..." she interrupted getting more angry with every second.

"I have a call from the city cameras, I call later to give my report." and with that he changed the line to take the incoming call.

"Uchiha..." he simply responded.

"Sasuke! finally, I have been trying to reach you…." a soft voice came to his ears.

"What is it Hinata? you found something?"

"Yeah! we saw him an hour ago, almost two, through the cameras of the main avenue, we spotted him last time rounding a corner and getting inside a phone booth."

Fast as a lightning, the pale policeman stood from his chair, taking notes on the nearest paper. "WHY didn't you call on the act Hinata!? I gave very specific orders!"

"I-I TRY, but your phone was off…"

"WHAT?" he growled. Taking the rectangular device out of his pocket he indeed discovered the phone was out of battery. Damit!. "… you said main avenue and the fifth right?"

"Yes, he got inside both, a telephone booth I mean…."

It was almost 9 in the evening when Ichiraku convenience store was turning the lights to wrap the day. The owner and his niece had locked every window and made sure the fridge and the Ice scraping machine continued to swirl the sweet content.

"Uncle, he is still there… do you think he needs help?" the young lady said, looking through his window the figure of the man that had been for hours inside that telephone cabin.

She noticed the man getting inside the cabin and making some calls, after vanishing on the floor for some minutes he stood up and resumed his insistent calling. But now the man seemed almost asleep, lying inside the booth with a very worrying posture, almost as if the man had passed out.

"Is not out business Ayame." the uncle said unimpressed as he directed a glance to the both across his store.

"I'll call the police, just so to make sure." she said as her uncle and herself lock the store's doors from the outside, ready to go home.

"Y-You better call an ambulance Ayame, the booth is starting to bleed." with perplexed eyes, uncle and niece observed how a small line of blood started to run across the sidewalk and a piece of newspaper that lay on the floor started to tint with the obscure red of blood.

...

A few minutes later, the siren of the aid vehicle was nearing, in no time, a pair of paramedics descended the ambulance and opened the cabin's door hurriedly.

The first one, cladded in latex gloves, registered the pulse of the unconscious man.

"TenTen!, serum, AMBU and the stretcher, he is not breathing steadily."

"Here" the brown hair paramedic reached the first two materials, and returned to the ambulance to prepare the stretcher.

"Come on pal, hang on." The kneeling paramedic inserted the needle of the serum to the man's forearm.

"Stretcher ready, Naruto." TenTen approached the blond paramedic, both maneuvering with the man's body getting him with a steady movement on the wheeled stretcher.

"Alright... " Placing the breathing mask over his face, he started the maneuvers with the AMBU mask to force air into his lungs, while the brunette paramedic prepared the stretcher security belts. Across the street about 10 people had gathered to see the scene, there were some cell phones recording, and murmurs. In the back a black haired man was trying to break through the wall of people, sprinting from the end of the sidewalk to the booth.

"NO, NO, NO, NO… What happened!?" the man approached running and out of breath to the scene, almost tackling the blond paramedic giving first aid.

"Excuse me… please take a step back." he almost yelled while he pushed the man to the side.

"Is he alive?" the other asked, trying to analyse the state of the man in the stretcher.

"Barely..." the paramedic received the signal of his partner and started to push the stretcher inside the ambulance, he followed and then the first door started to close in a swift movement.

"Wait! can I go with you?" the man insisted, stopping the ambulance door before he was left on the street.

"Is he your relative?" the blond assessed the man in front of him.

"Sort of, he is my responsibility."

The paramedic doubted, but time was crucial and he took no time to sort his decisions. "Alright, hurry!" he opened the door to let the man in and shut it. "Let's go Sakura!" he finally yelled.

The vehicle rushed and the siren started the urging yelling.

Inside the ambulance, the brunette paramedic kept the artificial breathing steady and things were apparently in control.

"Can I use your phone?" the extra passenger asked out of the blue.

"What?" the blond man looked at him strangely. But still he removes one of the quirurgical gloves and hands him the phone. After writing apparently a fast message, he returned the device.

"So, who are you?" the blond paramedic took the phone and focused his attention on the man sitting in front of him across the lying body.

"Agent Sasuke Uchiha, Special Investigation Unit." he said, taking his badge out of a pocket inside of his coat, but his eyes never leave the face of the unconscious patient struggling for his life.

"Police huh… I'm Naruto by the way, paramedic." the blond man flashed a smile to the agent. "So… is he a criminal you had to catch or something?" the ambulance ran into a bump and the whole cabin shook violently, the erratic pulse in the screen started to drop, and Naruto changed his attention to the patient in front of him.

"TenTen, I have the feeling things will get...difficult."

"Five...fiv...four. No… fiveeee. ugh..." the man blabber incoherently while he tried to open his eyes, but the nonsense stopped when the choking on his blood became severe.

"Damit, intubation! NOW!, are we there yet?" The blond paramedic spoke clearly and urgently.

"A few blocks..." TenTen responded while preparing the man for a manual intubation.

But the cardiac virtual signs decrease intensity and with a high pitch noise, they stopped.

Immediately Naruto jumped over the body and started the RCP maneuver, pressing the chest with rhythmic and hard movements.

Sasuke could just move out the action staying as far as the cabin let him, while his hands were tightly shut in fists, he observed how the life of Zabuza Momochi faded inside the rushing ambulance.

/

Hospitals and police offices can compete with the bad quality of their coffees, Sasuke thought as he emptied the insides of his paper coffee cup. Ugh, that small grain burned remains of old coffee danced inside his mouth as he tried not to wince too much.

He had been pacing for almost an hour in the emergency waiting room, when his patience was growing thin he reached for the information desk.

"Hi... do you know something about the man in the ambulance that arrived about an hour ago?"

"For the last time Sir. I don't have the information yet." an unimpressed nurse dispatched his question while she carried files and paperwork around the large desk.

Sasuke's eyebrow twitch, grounding his urges of taking out his badge and demanding in the name of the law the information. But then again, he would be going against Tsunade's orders about the secrecy of this quest, although, if he was dead… that didn't matter much. But God, he hoped he was still clinging to his dear life.

Defeated, he redirected his steps to the uncomfortable seats of the waiting room, which was surprisingly empty. Leaning into one of them, he allowed himself to close his eyes and go through all the reasons why Zabuza Momochi had ended in that telephone booth and why he had passed the last 3 days searching for him and just now he was spotted with the city cameras. Then it was the movement in the broadcast actions and the fact that the apartment was a haunted town. He hasn't been there for the past few days, then where?

"So Agent, are you his relative?" a clear voice came to his ears, snapping him out of his thoughts.

The blond paramedic was sitting beside him, a bottle of water in his lips, taking big gulps.

"No… " he responded drily. "Do you know if he survived?"

"Hmm… I bet he didn't make it. Sorry about that I guess…" the blue eyed man placed one of his hands in the policeman's arm for a second squeezing lightly and then retrieving it, it was pretty clear he had said and done the same gesture a hundred times. Then he spoke again "...Although, if he was not your relative I don't know if I have to give you my condolences."

"It is a missing case, I had to find him." Sasuke stated. "Wait… how do you know he didn't-"

He was interrupted by a tall woman that approached him and in a very polite and formal way told him that the man he had been asking for had passed away, finishing with an: "I am really sorry for your loss" and making his way back to the information desk.

"Damit..." Sasuke murmured to himself as he sat again, perplexed, what was there to do?

"Told ya'..." the paramedic rested his back against the cold wall behind him. "So, are you in trouble? you do accomplish your mission though."

"You are a very nosy man... you know?" The policeman argued with an interesting look in his direction but his companion only responded with a half side smile.

"I had to find that man, alive… shit is fuked now" he finished rubbing his eyes with his forearm, three days of constant search finally hitting him.

"Hey, you look as if you need a cup and a good meal. It's on me" Naruto stood up, patting the man in the back.

"Thanks, but I have to return to the scene… I already sent some colleagues to inspect and I need to go see that booth. " Sasuke turned around to collect his coat that was resting in the seat behind him.

"Alright then… let me take you there. After all I was your ride from the booth to the hospital" Naruto smiled, making his way to the exit door.

Sasuke processed the information, but didn't see a hole in the logic, if the paramedic wanted to give him a lift, who was he to deny a free ride.

/

The scent of smoke and beer slipped quickly through the nose, the bar was packed and it was hard to walk through the mass of people to reach the far end, where the large 'private' tables locate.

After crushing some feet and spilling some drinks Kiba made his way up to the table.

"Fucking hell, I arrive two hours late and is almost impossible to get in, is the beer free tonight or what?" the fierce looking man states, taking a seat and releasing the tight knot of his tie.

"The week is almost ending… what did you expect." a blond perky woman responded, placing a large pint of beer in front of his nose.

"Yeah yeah… I'll catch up with you guys in a minute." he finished, rising the glass and emptying it in one go.

'Hunter's den' was by far the most recurrent bar for the office workers, located in the centric part of the town, it collided with almost every government building, bank central office and the large commercial district. That's why it was not a strange thing to see an ocean of suits, ties, shirts and clacking high heel shoes, rushing to the bar after 6 or 7 o'clock. For Kiba and his group it was almost ritual to take some stress out hanging in the local bar.

After some beers, bad jokes and the usual office chit-chat, his antique policeman instinct told him it was time to strike.

"Hey Ino, I heard that things got messy in the entertainment stocks." The so called girl caresses his long hair, taking a long sip to his glass. "They have… I had sooooo much work these days, really."

"Is it? who could tell that some tv stocks and shares would cause so much trouble." Kiba followed the conversation while playing with a napkin in front of him.

"You know… I don't really think it's the act of changing the property of it, What really got me a headache was the whole paper work, it could be sooooo easy to just print the new owner name in the paper, but no!, that Momochi guy insisted in removing all his participation on the share, I mean, was he just erasing his trace or what…"She made a pause to take a large swing to her beer and continue, resting her head with confidence on the other's shoulder.

"Oh Kiba, I had such a long week, my back hurt from having to carry all those documents and then unclip and staple again. It was horrendous, you should at least give me a massage."

"I will, I promise." he said, licking his lips while thinking how the hell was he going to get the name of the new owner, he already knew they were marked as public interest, but it has to be a name behind. Maybe just asking….he thought. Clearing his throat he returned to the conversation.

"But, out of curiosity, who the hell got all those actions? I mean, they got the jackpot isn't it?"

Ino rose her head from the guy's shoulder and took some nuts from the small plate in front of him. "Darling, you know that's confidential." She giggled and he smiled apologetically. Well, I tried, the brown haired man pat himself mentally. Sorry Sasuke.

After making his way out of the bathroom, Kiba considered calling his agent friend, while dialing the number he approached to the bar. Resting his elbows on the counter, watching the big selection of scotch, vodka and gins they store. Up the shelves, a bright plasma TV shone, muted, still replaying the last baseball game of the season. The sports commentator moved his hands enthusiastically while explaining the pros and cons of the last minute changes on the players positions. A while later and two tries in reaching the Uchiha, Kiba desisted dialing the number a third time. He knew that if Sasuke was not picking up the phone he might have a good reason, instead he decided to text him, so that he had the info he could. Meanwhile the TV flash news showed a cordoned off area, at the center a telephone booth. The caption in the TV readed: "Agents had closed up a corner after a dying man had been reported to lie there. Police chief office has not declared anything about the sudden movement of the investigation unit."

/

Naruto's phone rang, his eyes drifted for a second between the road and the device resting on the car coaster in front of the gear shift. Just as he was going to answer, Sasuke threw him a menacing look.

"You can't drive and use the phone." he spoke authoritatively.

"Damn it, could be Ten Ten..." In a swift movement he took a very illegal turn and stopped the car for a while in the quiet street he had reached.

"Hello?" Naruto pik up the phone, sensing daggers emanating from the pale man's eyes. "Yeah, he's with me… " Naruto turned around his torso to face the man sitting beside him, and lent him his phone for the second time that day. "It 's for you."

Not surprised at all, he took the device "Uchiha." he said cooly, waiting for the other side of the line.

"Sir, finally. We have closed the area, but, what are we looking for?" a male voice responded. Naruto resumed the journey, sensing how the call had stiffened his copilot's body, some more bad news maybe.

"Just… search for anything, cocaine, a number, a card. We have to know why the fuck was he in there, unconcious. Alright? call me to this number if you find something, anything. Search for the locals, ask them if they saw anything. I'll be there in a minute." Frustrated, the pale officer waited for confirmation of his orders and hung up, returning the device to his previous place in the car. Naruto pressed the accelerator harder.

After a long silence the blond spoke " Aren't you gonna tell them that the guy is dead?"

Annoyed the agent consulted his wrist watch "They don't need to know that… for now. Plus, the news will spread like fire once the official death certificate is expelled or the name gets to the press." Slouching in his seat, his bad mood was clear to anyone.

"Well, I 'm glad that at least the police are finally getting involved. Although, it is sad that the son of a rich man had to die for you to take hands on the matter."

"What do you mean?" Curiosity made Sasuke arrange his posture and frown.

"… look I don't want to mingle where I am not called but, this deaths, this specific types of deaths, I have been picking up corpses or dying people around town for months now, they are all in the same kind of places and they always have the same reactions, the same type of death, I found it very...bizarre." looking to his side for a moment, Naruto could see an unreadable face, for sure he got the officer thinking, but the predominant emotion in the black orbs was of confusion. He really didn't know any of it, Naruto realized.

"How..." Before Sasuke could make any sentence, the car stopped in front of the familiar booth and a tall man was already knocking on his window. He saw the other agent make signs at him and with an apologetic look he undo his seat belt.

"Don't go, I have to give some orders around here, but… maybe I could take your word on that coffee and dinner you mentioned before." he said opening the door of the car.

The blond man raised an eyebrow.

"Please?..." Sasuke insisted and he got a smile and a slow nod as a response.

/

"Agent… over here.'' The redhead policeman was raising the yellow police tape to allow access to the agent.

Adjusting his already tight tie, he looked around the scene, checking how the legal medicine department had started to take samples from the deep red blood that rested on the booth, and a few other agents talked with nearby people surrounding the area, a few steps behind the tape, two big TV cameraman were filming while agents of the department tried to block what they could the unfortunate scene.

No doubt in his mind, Sasuke knew texting Gaara, his fellow subordinate, was the best decision he could have taken. He was sure the investigation team arrived at the scene a few minutes after they left with the agonizing man, hopefully Gaara could have spotted some witnesses.

"Gaara, can you reach Tsunade for me? I have bad news." The so called agent nodded and took a black device from his pocket, he started to press some buttons.

"Sasuke, sir. She's on the line." said the agent prodigee lending the cellphone to his superior.

"Tsunade… " he started, feeling how the words were trapped in his throat, his mouth was dry and an unknown anxiousness started to build up inside of him.

"Agent Uchiha '' he heard a tired voice from the other side "Please tell me you found him, I was notified of the request of a team, but nothing has been informed. What's the status?"

"He's dead." he said plainly, better to say the harsh part first, Sasuke thought as he listened to the silence at the other side of the line.

"Can you certify that?"

"I went all the way to the hospital with him in an ambulance and waited for the outcome, he didn't make it. I'm sorry I-I don't, I was not able to-" he didn't finish his sentence feeling utterly down with the imminent failure taking over his pride and ego.

"Then, why did you send a team to close the area Sasuke?" Tsunade cut the blabbering of the agent, managing to reactivate the coherent thoughts on the black haired policeman.

"Well" he thought for a moment "I found it very odd that for days he has been out of the radar and then he just popped up in one of our cameras, I feel something is off."

"I trust in your gut Sasuke, if you think we should investigate further, then do it."

"I have just found a very interesting piece of information and I guess it is worth it to follow." The Uchiha said with a low tone, smirking. Turning around from the scene and looking from far away how the blond paramedic leaned his body against the car.

"Send Gaara to the hospital, that body is still evidence, they can not make any procedure on him." Sasuke knew exactly what Tsunade's clever plan was.

Hanging up, he returned the phone to his subordinate. He absolutely thought Tsunade was going to leave him deaf from a shouting session, trampling his work and station. But she might be in a better mood, or she too thought there was something else going on.

"Sir, you said in the message that something was not looking good here, do you want us to search for any specific information?" The redhead agent took out a pen and a small block of notes.

"Doesn't it seem weird to you Gaara?, a man in a booth, bleeding, who was he calling? Was he asking for help? why does no one come?"

Gaara actively wrote down every single question. "I already requested the booth's history of calls, they will have the information in the station by morning."

"Good job, what else do you see here Gaara?, amaze me with that deductive mind."

The young policeman thought for a little bit, scanning the area before his eyes "He started bleeding while on the inside, since there is not a trace on the street that suggest any different, he could have been attacked by someone while making some calls, or he might be hurt and used the booth as a hideout, if that was the scenario, the attack must have been pretty near and we should start searching also in the near area. Also, why make a help call on a public phone? he could have been mugged or kidnapped, but I don't see the last one as a chance, we didn't receive any rescue call, nor the father informed us about it."

"It's interesting that you place this scenario as a murder or an attak of some kind, any reason for that?" Sasuke looked at his protegee smirking again, while the green eyes looked at him and the booth intermittently.

"I... I found it very strange that Mr. Momochi was alone, he was a very rich man, I mean, he was always escorted by people or had a car waiting for him everywhere he went. Yesterday I was at the casino he frequented usually, they told me that he even had a spot reserved for him in the parking lot and whenever he went, they knew they had to save at least 3 seats for the guards or friends that went with him. If that was true, why was he in a place so mundane, left to die."

"Mundane is a great word to describe it." Said Sasuke, agreeing with his head to every word the boy had said. "I do believe too his death was not an accident or a casualty. I just don't understand the factors involved. I can almost declare it a formal murder investigation, but first I need you to go to the Central Hospital to retrieve the body, make sure to take it to the federal morgue and start the medical autopsy. Then we can formally open that investigation."

"Yes sir."

"I'll leave it in your hands then, I have to go talk with some...source of information, I have to check upon some information that might help us." Gaara noded. "My phone is dead, by the way, call to the same number you did early."

/

The bar was down the long avenue that came down town, a very bright neon sign exposed plainly what the menú might include "Bar & Ramen".

"You said a coffee and a meal" Sasuke said, looking with distaste at the local they had in front.

"You placed the coffee on my words, I said a cup and a meal. But don't worry Temari has a large menu." Responded the blond, pushing Sasuke lightly, urging him to walk to the entrance covered with traditional japanese designs.

"So, Mr. policeman, rough night huh?"

"Sasuke" said the black haired man, taking a sip of his whiskey on the rocks.

"I can say, I really thought you were going to ask for some coffee, Sasuke." Naruto responded, smiling while pronouncing the name.

"And let you drink alone?, I know I look like that, but I'm not a jerk."

Naruto laughed, taking a sip from his beer.

"So, you said something about similar deaths… can you tell me more about that?" Sasuke turned his stool, facing Naruto and leaving his freezed glass on the wood bar at his left.

"Wow, right into business. I thought you accepted my invitation because you thought I was cute or something." The blond paramedic said, smirking to the agent in front of him.

Sasuke smiled faintly as he looked deeper into the blue orbs, he had not ignored the promiscuous thoughts he had from the paramedic in front of him. When things had cooled off in the hospital and he was waiting like an impatient feline at the ER. He could see the blond figure from a nearby window, while waiting, he saw how the muscular medic helped the other paramedic with two buns over her head to replace the medical equipment that they used to transport Zabuza. He laughed with a very high volume and caught the attention of the policeman while he signed the transportation order and the legal procedure. But he never expected to see the young man beside him inside the waiting room, things got a little more interesting when he spoke of other deaths he found mysterious and for a moment he forgot what a candy to the eye those toned biceps were. But now he was tearing between following his investigation with a professional stance or taking the wrecked way he secretly did enjoy the most, out of the law.

Raising an eyebrow, he reclined into the wooden bar, placing his elbow near the edge and his chin over his palm. "What makes you think I have interest in you?" he said playfully.

"Don't think I didn't notice you checking me out at the crime scene. And the ride back here. Was my crotch interesting?" the blond smile joking and Sasuke just took a few more sips from his iced glass.

"So you are not a dumb, naive man. I'm impressed." he finally said with a deep voice, feeling how the scotch warmed his way down to his belly.

"I have some skills, yeah"

"And a very sharp eye I must add."

Naruto just smiled at the compliment and feeling quite overwhelmed he looked around the small bar, searching for the blond owner. While black eyes looked at him fiercely.

"Alright, Naruto. Let's make a deal. I need something to attach Zabuza Momochi to a murder case investigation, tellme about those deaths, I'll evaluate the importance of the information, make some calls and we can foget about everything except this drinks. How does that sound?"

"Sounds like you really accept my invitation for the reasons I thought." He laughed lightly."Okay Mr. Agent. I'll tell you, but have in mind these are all my thoughts and intuitions on different patients, is that ok? Later I don't want to be arrested on misleading or some other invented crime accusation."

"That 's fine. Please go ahead." And Naruto started talking, trying to ignore a pale hand placed on his right knee and a new beer opened beside his already empty one.

Well, that was the first chapter, I'm almost done with the second delivery.
Naruto will tell us more about his suspects, but don't take him lightly, he knows more than what we can see.
Hope you enjoyed, it's very posible this story goes smooth and updated frequently since I have not much to do in this still eternal quarantine.
We'll read soon. Like in some review you like to make (haha)
