Happy New Year's everyone!

Now you all have wonder why the original story has been deleted? After a long series of writer's block, I've decided to start over with an original flavor plot different from the various canon Yu-Gi-Oh! storylines. More information is provided in the author's notes at the end.

Summary: In the world of Duel Monsters, a new tech group has helped to usher a new age of millennia by improving and introducing new summoning mechanics since the events of the shadow games. Synchro, Xyz, Pendulum, and Link. These summoning methods that were introduced after Ritual and Fusion have later shaped the current world in where Duel Monsters have integrated into nearly every nook and cranny of society. However, the plot has only just begun in this era of card games…

Character Pairings: Male OC x Female OC

Disclaimer: I don't own Yu-Gi-Oh! or any of the characters as they are all made and copyrighted by Takahashi Kazuki, Shonen Jump, and Konami.

Turn I – The Mock Duel: Enter the Game King and Superior Staff Member!

(Unknown POV)

Domino City…

…a city in the small country of Japan that was built on the foundation of games. The various buildings that were seen throughout the city span to tall heights and the streets are busied with cars and people heading to their respective workplaces. However, one would notice the number of unusual things that exist in the busied streets, such as the various creatures that battle against one another. The explanation for this phenomenon is simple, "Duel Monsters."

It started as an ordinary children's card game that was created by Pegasus J. Crawford in the United States of America. It became quite popular in the community for its "Dungeons and Dragons" inspired theme, and not much later, it was heightened to national levels like chess or Japanese shogi. This card game soon caught the attention of KaibaCorp's CEO, Kaiba Seto, who then set to work on creating lifelike holograms through a solid vision in collaboration with Industrial Illusions after a… particular experience against another duelist.

After Pegasus' death in the finals of Duelist Kingdom, he stated in his will to give ownership of his company, Industrial Illusions, to his adopted male child and heir, Maximillion Crawford, who was 21 years of age at the time. Despite his young age, Maximillion proves to be an intelligent young man by leading the company towards technological advancements in computer software, biomedical engineering, and even investing in aerospace, as well as keeping the flow of the Duel Monsters game in place. The company was later renamed Imanok Inc. in 2000.

As 7 years passed since 1999, Duel Monsters have reached the heights of becoming integrated into societal matters; including politics and businesses in their respective countries. Through the rising popularity of Duel Monsters, has also led to the proposition of "Duel Academia," a prestigious school located in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, which not only educates students at the beginning year of high school but also prepares them for the possibility of becoming a Pro Duelist.

Along with Duel Monsters, the advancement of technology continues to transcend into the reality of where VR was not only invented before the 2000s, but artificial intelligence was successful in improving the current lifestyle for the citizens to where Domino City has been renamed to Neo Domino City. The one responsible for these advancements is no other than Kaiba Seto himself, whose investment into advancing humanity has made KaibaCorp into a global sensation, and he even owns a private space station for God's sake!

However, Kaiba's goal with the advancement of VR technology to evaluate mankind to the next stage of evolution along with Duel Monsters being part of the status quo; the cons have also revealed themselves by attracting the attention of shady organizations who intends to take advantage of such technological advancements and the game into illegal affairs, such as underground dueling, dueling mercenaries, and even cyber-attacks in the VR system.

While these problems have brought attention to the public, that's only putting it mildly at best. The real dangers were the occult and dark magic that has surrounded these games since the Egyptian times, which would've ended the world in destruction if it weren't for the actions of the heroes of light that oppose this darkness in the mortal realm.

The heroes managed to repel the darkness from the mortal realm and save the world from an impending eternity of darkness from enemies of the old. Those events happened not too long ago in the decade that span since then, but the mystical threats can still be waiting for an opportunity to once again resurface into the world…

…but of course, that's what I've learned from a close friend of mine and from most online users on Reddit. The story does hold weight despite the superstition that surrounds it, but not many people had the chance of witnessing the end of times as we know it, until that one particular incident of Dark Diva erasing everything from existence.

But for now, let's start with the current story at hand here.

On a spring day, a young girl such as myself is currently on her way to the Duel Academia's entrance exam. My academic prowess has allowed me to enter high school early, with some thanks to a rather mysterious youth who I've befriended for over three years; right now, he's driving me to the Kaibaland Stadium.

- Neo Domino City, Year 2006 -

In the streets of Neo Domino City, a red high-tech "motorcycle" is currently driven at an unusually fast speed that would most likely get the attention of those on the watch for crazy drivers. The motorcycle drove through each intersection with careful precision along with avoiding any of the pedestrians passing by, showing that the driver is an expert on what he's doing on the road.

The motorcycle is currently carrying two people; a young man at the age of 21 driving it, while a girl who's recently turned 11, sitting behind him.

The young man's face is being obscured by his white helmet and black visor. The attire he wears consists of a dark-blue t-shirt underneath a black and green jacket sweater, blue jeans with a belt, and black shoes.

Right now, he's concentrating on the road with an amazing amount of focus, to where one might believe him to be possessing a sixth sense with all of the precision, quick judgment, and badassery of driving a motorcycle in such a hazardous manner. The girl behind him wasn't too worried as she rode with him all the time at this speed.

The girl's name is Tao-yi Yuou. She also wears a red helmet with an orange visor, but underneath it is her short, bob-cut black hair. Her dark-brown eyes were hidden behind the dark tinted visor. She wears a red jacket, black pants, and white shoes. Around her right wrist is a bracelet given to her as a birthday gift, appearing as a deep dark-blue gemstone with a multitude of colors that spiral inward like a galaxy.

For the moment at hand, she's riding with the young man to the Kaibaland amusement park. There, is where the Duel Academia's Entrance Exams were taking place while both of them are aiming to be there at least 10 minutes prior to their scheduled duel.

The reason why? They just hate having to wait a while longer.

"So… how do you feel about the scheduled duel we'll be having today?" The young man asks for the first time since they left for the scheduled duel.

"If you ask me, it wouldn't be that hard considering the duels I've had with you for three years. In fact, it'll be a breeze for you more than me." Yuou explained, and he nodded to her.

"I see…" The young man paused for a moment as if to sort out his next words.

Compare to herself, who has to pass the exam by dueling a proctor and win to become eligible to attend such a prestigious school, Yuou knew that for the young man, he's only going to be around the campus grounds because of business reasons with Kaiba, and the only reason for his requirement to duel is due to formality and an opportunity to showcase a new Monster Type that he and Kaiba have worked on months ago, and announced the unveiling at the end of the Duel Academia's Entrance Exams.

"In that case, would you like to have a mock duel before the exam?" He finally asked. "It'll be an hour before our scheduled duels after all, and it's quite rare for the two of us to have an enjoyable moment from our busy schedules."

Yuou immediately smiled at the suggestion. "Heh, I thought you had never asked."

He nodded to her words, and he presses a button on his "motorcycle", or in this case, his D-Wheel.

On the small screen plaster on the D-Wheel, it flashes up with the logo; Riding Duel commence. He shifted his motorcycle into a lane where the signs are popping up to announce that a "Duel Link System – Master Duel" is about to happen, and any vehicles that are occupying it automatically move out of the way.

The lights that were embedded in the lane of which the young man is driving brightly lit up, and created a hard-light pathway that extends itself upward from the ground and connects into another lane with huge half-cylinder-like walls to prevent Riding Duelists from accidentally falling out of the rails.

"Since the Duel Lane's unoccupied from the use of Dueling by Riding Duelists this time of day, we can commence our mock duel without any interruptions. So, are you ready for this?"

"Ready as you'll ever be!"

"Then let's get this started." He activates the autopilot function of his motorcycle, along by pressing another button that opens up a compartment on both sides near the feet area. He places his feet into those compartments, and they mechanically secure themselves onto each foot.

Then… in an amazing feat of human athleticism, the young man got off of his D-Wheel by leaping high into the air. He performs a backflipped and two glowing wheels popped out on both heels while he lands back onto the lane. These are called D-Skates, a motorized form of skates capable of participating in High-Speed Duels. The wheels rapidly move forward until it matches the current speed of his D-Wheel.

Another thing that happens, is that the motorcycle starts to shift into a different form. It soon became a four-wheel vehicle, with Yuou being protected in a holographic sphere. This makes it easier for the girl to ride it on autopilot.

"System Links – Master Duel! Set on!" They both shouted.

By the sound of their voices, an electronic voice spoke from the motorcycle. "Duel Mode! Autopilot Pilot on Standby" appears on the screen, causing the entire area around them to appear in a bluish hue.

"DUEL!"

Yuou vs Unknown

Their visors are then linked to the Neurons VR system, where their minds are then connected to the KaibaCorp's Crystal Cloud Network, allowing them to use the virtual version of their decks without needing the physical cards for the duel as well as a lack for their Duel Disks. Since the network scans their brainwaves, identifying them to the correct digital record of their cards. Appearing through their visors are many selections of deck recipes they individually made over the years.

"For this mock duel, I would like to test you with the new cards Kaiba and I have made for today's unveiling. Plus, I'll be selecting out the deck for you to use; do you consent to these conditions?" She nodded to him, knowing that she'll be in for a treat of what these new cards are being distributed.

He then picks their respective decks for this mock duel, and press a function that shows a virtual coin on their visors. "To see who goes first, let's do a coin toss Yuou. The one who calls it correctly gets to take the first turn."

"Fine by me, I pick heads!" She nodded in reply.

The young man, in turn, pick tails, and their visors show the image of the coin being toss into the air before landing.

The result: HEADS.

[Turn 1: Yuou, LP: 8000, Hand: 5, Deck: 55]

"Looks like I go first." Said Yuou as numerous in-text images appears on her visor screen. The text and images started off as generic "systems and checking" before her card images pop up. In a VR fashion, her virtual hand contains: 'Clear Kuriboh', 'That Grass Looks Greener', 'Half Shut', 'Pot of Desires', and 'Sixth Sense'.

'So, the deck he chose for me to use is one of my non-competitive "fun" decks. Either he did this to give himself the edge or was being truthful of making the duel a challenge for me...' Yuou muses internally, but nevertheless, continues onward.

"I'll start things off by activating, Pot of Desires!" Upon voice command, the system registers her voice as the trigger to activate the functions for cards without needing to make physical gestures. The spell card on her visor screen enlarges a bit to show itself being selected, and it dematerialized from sight.

Then, 10 cards from the top of Yuou's virtual deck were sent into the banished zone face-down, and two new cards appear in her virtual hand.

"Next up, is another spell card, That Grass Looks Greener!" This time, 10 more cards from the top of Yuou's virtual deck were sent into the GY zone.

As Yuou looked over the 20 cards gone from her deck, she shows mixed feelings as some of her good cards were gone. But nevertheless, continue with the duel. "I normal summon Clear Kuriboh to the field!"

A portal opened up from the ground, and the monster that appears is a small, round creature with dark-brown fur, yellow eyes, and green stubby limbs.

[Clear Kuriboh (LIGHT, Fairy / Effect, LV 1, ATK 300 / DEF 200)]

"Of course, he won't be staying for long, as I activate another spell card, Monster Gate! By tributing a monster on my field, I can excavate cards from the top of my deck until I get a monster that can be normal summon/set, and special summon it!" Clear Kuriboh dematerialized from the field, and Yuou mills a 'Balance of Judgement', 'Skill Successor', and 'Galaxy Cyclone' before getting a monster card.

"Perfect! The monster I'll be special summoning is Guardian Angel Joan!" A large, circular rune of text appears above Yuou, and coming out of it is an angel.

She was a tall figure who's taller than the two Duelists present, with golden locks or hair and blue-eyes. She spread her arms wide as the grey scarf-like garments wrapped around them and reached below her feet. Her dress was white, as a symbol of her purity; with a halo hovering at the top of her head. She takes her place in the middle-right of the Main Monster Zone.

[Guardian Angel Joan (LIGHT, Fairy / Effect, LV 7, ATK 2800 / DEF 2000)]

"I set two cards face-down. Turn End."

[Turn 1 completed: Yuou, LP: 8000, Hand: 0, Deck: 31]

[Turn 2: Unknown, LP: 8000, Hand: 5 – 6, Deck: 35 ~ 34]

"Ore no turn, draw." He said in a soft tone. He wordlessly looked over his virtual hand, as his expressions were masked behind the helmet.

"Let's start with this card… Special Summon Linkslayer through his own effect, since I control no monsters on the field!" As per voice activation, the monster dematerialized from his virtual hand.

A blue, digitalized portal appears on his left. Coming out of it was a virtual warrior wearing Felidae-like armor with a brown cape. Two blades of light appear on his forearms as he slashes a few times before making his stance, and landing on the middle-left monster zone.

[Linkslayer (EARTH, Cyberse / Effect, LV 5, ATK 2000 / DEF 600)]

At the sight of the Cyberse monster, Yuou took in the appearance of this new type of monster, wondering if there're more monsters like this Linkslayer.

That was going to be answered very quickly with her opponent's next move.

"Next, Cyberse Wizard is normal summoned!" Another blue, digitalized portal appears, but this time is on his right.

The monster is a humanoid figure like Linkslayer, but his appearance is similar in vain to wizards. Completed with a hood, modernized robes, and high-tech shoulder pads. The clothing had the colors of black and white, with neon green Tron lines running across the white that is reminiscent of the characters from that old 1980s American film she watched a while back. Also, the wizard carries a silver, high-tech rod.

[Cyberse Wizard (LIGHT, Cyberse / Effect, LV 4, ATK 1800 / DEF 800)]

"Cyberse Wizard's effect activates! I target one monster you control in attack mode, and changed it to defense mode!"

The wizard raises his rod. The tip of it emits polygons of blue data in the form of a small constellation, and he shot a blue beam at Guardian Angel Joan, causing her to put her hands together in a form of a prayer.

[Guardian Angel Joan (Battle Position: ATK - DEF)]

"For the rest of the turn, my Cyberse monsters can only attack Joan; if they do, you get inflicted with Piercing Damage!"

"But neither your Linkslayer nor Cyberse Wizard has enough ATK to destroy Joan." Yuou pointed out the obvious. But since she's talking about her friend here, this isn't even basic compare to what she had seen him in duels.

"I continue onward by activating Backup Secretary in my hand. If I control a Cyberse monster, I can special summon her to the field."

For the third time, the blue, digitalized portal appears above him. Coming out of it is a young woman with purple hair and clad in a formal attire befitting of her name. Her clothing is of similar design to the virtualized appearance of Linkslayer and Cyberse Wizard, complete with a clear, translucent cape and skirt. She wore a black visor that covers her eyes and holds a high-tech pad in her right arm.

[Backup Secretary (LIGHT, Cyberse / Effect, LV 3, ATK 1200 / DEF 800)]

"Get ready, as you're about to witness a stronger Cyberse monster than these three on the field."

Yuou can't help but feel excited at the prospect of seeing the next monster, as her mouth forms a grin that shows her willingness to go against a worthy foe.

"What are you waiting for then?! Bring it out!" She cried at her friend, and he delivered the request.

"You want it? You got it! But we'll start things off by Link Summoning a prerequisite. Appear! The circuit that leads to the future!" He announced, and above the two Duelists, a portal appeared. It was different than the ones shown so far, as the outer rims were structure as a square, with multiple arrowheads pointing in all directions.

This is called an Arrowhead Portal, allowing Duelists' to Link Summon a monster to the two Extra Monster Zones located above the five Main Monster Zones.

"Arrowheads confirmed! The requirements are two Effect monsters!" Linkslayer and Cyberse Wizard transformed into light, each color representing their corresponding Attribute, and they flew into the empty arrowheads located on the top and bottom of the portal.

"Circuit Combine!" A wireframe of the monster appears and it slowly gains its true appearance.

"LINK SHŌKAN! Appear! Link 2 Code Talker!"

Once the wireframe becomes a whole being, a tall humanoid figure that's reminiscent of the designs for fictional VR beings come to mind. Code Talker is mainly dark silver underneath the pale blue and gold parts of its armor, with neon gold lines running across its body. It wields a laser sword of digital design, as the blade of it was modeled in a long, rectangular hexagonal shape. It then lands in the Left Extra Monster Zone.

[Code Talker (DARK, Cyberse / Link / Effect, Link Arrows: Top, Bottom, ATK 1300, Link-2)]

"Since there's a monster in a zone that Code Talker's Link Arrow points to, it gains 500 more ATK." Code Talker's eyes glow brighter while it gains a silverish aura.

[Code Talker (ATK 1300 - 1800)]

"But it won't be staying on the field for long." When she heard him mentioning what comes next, Yuou can hardly contain her excitement.

"Appear! The Circuit that leads to the future! Arrowheads confirmed! The requirements are 2+ Effect monsters!" Code Talker and Backup Secretary transformed into light. They flew into the three empty arrowheads located on the top, bottom-left, and bottom-right of the portal.

"Circuit Combine!" The wireframe of the monster appears and it gains its form as the data flow throughout the body.

"LINK SHŌKAN! Appear! Link 3 Decode Talker!"

Once the wireframe becomes a whole being, a tall humanoid figure that's reminiscent of the designs for fictional VR beings come to mind. Decode Talker's body is mainly black underneath the blue and yellow parts of its armor, with neon purple lines running across its body. It wields a laser sword of digital design, as the blade of it was modeled in a long, rectangular hexagonal shape. The Cyberse Link Monster slashes through the air before landing onto the young man's left Extra Monster Zone.

[Decode Talker (DARK, Cyberse / Link / Effect, Link Arrows: Top, Bottom-Left, Bottom-Right, ATK 2300 / Link-3)]

Holy crap… What Yuou had witness here is a Cyberse Link Monster that was going to be demonstrated at the Entrance Exams today. Any sort of letdown or disappointment she held in the back of her mind had vanished, as what this monster could do is going to kick ass!

"Amazing…" She said in awe but manages to regain some composure. "But since you special summon a monster from the Extra Deck, I re-set the two Lost Wind Trap Cards from my GY! The only drawback is that they'll get banished upon leaving the field."

"Regardless, you can't activate them this turn. Now Decode Talker's effect activates! Since there's a monster occupying a monster zone of where its link arrows point to, it gains 500 ATK. Power Integration!" Decode Talker's purple eyes shine brighter as it gains a purple aura as its being powered up.

[Decode Talker (ATK 2300 - 2800)]

"I activate Terraforming! This allows me to add a Field Spell card from my deck to my hand! I'll boost my Decode Talker's ATK with Cynet Storm!"

In accordance with the Field Spell, the entire Duel Lane that the two are riding in became filled with streams of data flowing throughout the road. Outside of the Duel Lane, data storms were conjuring up in tornados flew by their sights.

"Cynet Storm boost all Link Monsters on the field by 500 more ATK!"

[Decode Talker (ATK 2800 - 3300)]

"Battle! Decode Talker, attack and destroy Guardian Angel Joan! Decode End!" The humanoid Cyberse Link Monster obeyed, and it leaps into the air and raises its sword for a full slash at the angel on your Yuou's side.

"Sorry, but even my "fun" deck isn't without its tricks! Reverse card open, Half Shut!" Then… bluish fire appears from the air to form a barrier to protect her monster.

"Thanks to this Quick-Play Spell Card, your monster's ATK is cut in half!" As Decode Talker slam its sword onto the barrier, it felt its strength slipping away as it struggles to cut through it.

[Decode Talker (ATK 3300 ~ 1650)]

"Now Joan, repel Decode Talker from its attack!" The angel sends forth a wave of holy light, causing Decode Talker to be pushed back from the force and landing back onto its controller's side.

[Decode Talker (ATK 1400 - 2800)]

[Unknown, LP: 8000 ~ 7050]

"A minor setback." He simply commented, knowing that the "fun" deck he chose for Yuou has its own flavor of surprises.

"Two cards set. Turn End."

[Turn 2 completed: Unknown, LP: 7050, Hand: 0, Deck: 33]

[Turn 3: Yuou, LP: 5400, Hand: 0 - 1, Deck: 31 ~ 30]

"Boku no turn, draw!" Yuou looks at her drawn card, and smile at the card.

"First things first… I'll activate my set card, Sixth Sense! Get the die ready, because I'll be calling for a 5 and 6!" The dice then appear on both of their visor screens.

"Very well then, dice roll." As he spoke those words, the dice flung itself into the air before landing for the result.

When the result of the die roll is revealed, both Duelists saw a 5.

"Looks like I get five new cards in my hand!" Yuou's virtual hand then gain five new cards.

"I normal summon Sangan to the field."

A portal opens from the ground, and rising out of it is a gremlin-like creature with orange fur, three eyes, and green, gangly limbs.

[Sangan (DARK, Fiend / Effect, LV 3, ATK 1000 / DEF 600)]

"Next, I'll be activating Tribute Doll! This will allow me special summon a Level 7 monster from my hand by tributing a monster on my side of the field." Sangan dematerialized from the field. "Prepare yourself for battle! Orgoth the Relentless!"

Taking Sangan's place is a tall, blue warrior clad in purple and gold armor. His helmet obscures its face, with only his yellow eyes showing, and he wields a decorative sword in his left hand.

[Orgoth the Relentless (EARTH, Warrior / Effect, LV 7, ATK 2500 / DEF 2450)]

"Sangan's effect activates, allowing me to add a monster with 1500 or less ATK from my deck to my hand. I'll choose the White Magician Pikeru! Now then, Orgoth can't attack this turn due to Tribute Doll's effect; but I can activate his own effect, allowing me to roll three dies and apply the corresponding effect." Yuou snaps her fingers, which the sound of it can also trigger the voice command.

Three dies appear on their visor screens, and each of them jumps into the air rotating before landing.

The results: 4/3/4

"Two fours and a three, good. Orgoth's ATK is raised by 1000 until the end of your turn and I get to draw two more cards!"

[Orgoth the Relentless (ATK 2500 - 3500)]

Two more cards appear in Yuou's virtual hand. "I switch my Guardian Angel Joan to attack mode and banish the Skill Successor trap card from my GY to raise her ATK by 800!" Guardian Angel Joan spread her arms again and gains a golden aura to show her being strengthened.

[Guardian Angel Joan (Battle Position: DEF - ATK)]

[Guardian Angel Joan (ATK 2800 - 3600)]

"Next, I'll activate Galaxy Cyclone from my GY to destroy your Field Spell!"

"Chain! I activate my set card, Cynet Conflict! If you activate a Card Effect while I control a "Code Talker", it's negated and banished! Furthermore, you can't activate any more cards of the same name until the end of the next turn!"

"Dang it!" Yuou cursed as she clicks her tongue a bit. "But no matter, I can still destroy your monster. Joan! Attack and destroy Decode Talker!" The angel obeyed her controller's command and started to form a ball of holy light to smite the VR humanoid being.

"I also activate my other face-down, Cynet Backdoor! I can banish one Cyberse monster I control until my next Standby Phase, and then I can add one Cyberse monster from my deck to my hand with ATK lower than the banished Cyberse's original ATK." Decode Talker left the field, and the selected monster card from his deck appears in his virtual hand.

"Then you're left wide open! Joan, attack him directly!" The angel forms the ball of holy light and shot it at the young man. He merely sidesteps to avoid the attack.

[Unknown, LP: 7050 ~ 3450]

"Thank you for doing that Yuou… now you can witness the effect of my Field Spell." This declaration causes Yuou's eyes to widen a bit.

'Dang it! He must have intentionally banished Decode Talker in order to leave himself open for a direct attack!'

"When you inflict 2000 pts of damage to my LP, I can shuffle the face-down cards in my Extra Deck and excavate the top card. If it's a Cyberse Link Monster, I can special summon it." His visor screen shows the cards in his Extra Deck, and the cards automatically shuffle themselves for a bit before stopping.

Focusing his senses throughout his Extra Deck, he felt the different wavelengths of the Cyberse Link Monsters, and manages to settle on a particular card for this situation.

"The card I excavate is a Link 4 Cyberse monster!" He claimed, and set the card in the middle Main Monster Zone!"

The wireframe of the monster appears on the field, and it slowly gains its appearance.

"From the eternal creation of the world, zero resurrects endlessly! Appear, Link 4 Topologic Zeroboros!"

"Topologic…" Yuou whisper in anticipation.

Just like with Decode Talker, the wireframe slowly gains its true form from top to bottom. As the download was completed, appearing before Yuou's eyes is a behemoth of a monster that differs in appearance from Decode Talker. The Cyberse Link Monster took the form of a white draconic-like creature, with a serpentine body structure. However, the body was coiled around itself as it forms a trefoil knot. The three gaps that form from its unique structure was a translucent orange, and rows of sky-blue spikes run throughout the body. Its arms and chest were black, while the claws, shoulders, and horns were yellow. It let out an almighty roar, as the blue orb in its mouth is expose for all who sees it.

[Topologic Zeroboros (DARK, Cyberse / Link / Effect, Link Arrows: Top-Left, Bottom-Left, Bottom-Right, Top-Right, ATK 3000, Link-4)]

"Furthermore, it gains 200 ATK for every card that is currently banished, along with an extra 500 ATK/DEF from Cynet Storm!" The Cyberse Link Monster gains a white aura, as the feeling of being empowered flows throughout its body.

[Topologic Zeroboros (ATK 3000 – 4500)]

"Now it surpasses both of my monsters in ATK… but not for long! I activate my set card, Lost Wind! Now your monster's original ATK is halved along with its effect negated!" Green specks of wind blew throughout the field. It travels over to Topologic Zeroboros, causing it to groan in displeasure as its body lost all color.

[Topologic Zeroboros (ATK 4500 ~ 2000)]

"You have negated my monster's effect, but you just used up one of your trap cards." The young man replies since he knows that Yuou still had those two Lost Wind Trap Cards on the field. So, he picks a monster in order to force her to use one up and deal with the second one later.

"Hmm… perhaps, but even if you're trying to force me to use up my Lost Wind's effect, I still got plenty of tricks in this deck. I set three cards face-down. Turn End."

[Guardian Angel Joan (ATK 3600 ~ 2800)]

[Turn 3 completed: Yuou, LP: 8000, Hand: 3, Deck: 22]

[Turn 4: Unknown, LP: 3450, Hand: 1 – 2, Deck: 32 ~ 31]

"Ore no turn, draw." He said with the same calm tone.

"At my Standby Phase, Decode Talker returns to the field." The humanoid VR coming out from a portal on the ground, taking its place in the middle-left Main Monster Zone.

"Heh… since we both have two cards in our hand, I'll activate my set card, Hand Destruction! This forces us to discard them and draw two more, so whatever card you got from Cynet Backdoor won't help you now." The young man doesn't give a response, and merely sent his two cards and gain two new ones.

"Following that, I can activate my other face-down, Appropriate! Any time you were to draw a card outside of your Draw Phase, I can draw two cards."

"Hmm…" As the young man looks over the cards he drew, they might not be what he needs at the moment, but they'll do for now.

"First of all, I'll activate Link Burst! I can target one Link Monster I control and one monster you control and destroy them both. I'll be trading Zeroboros for your Orgoth's destruction."

"Reverse card open, Dark Bribe! I'll negate and destroy your spell card, and in exchange, you get to draw another card." The young man's virtual hand gains another card from the deck, while Yuou gets two new ones due to her Continuous Trap Card.

"Now all you have left is just Lost Wind on the field, and the card I drew from your Dark Bribe has given me another opportunity. I activate two Cyberse Cache! Since I have a monster on the field whose current ATK is different from its original ATK, I can draw two new cards." He said as his virtual hand gains four new cards, and the Yuou also gets four cards as well.

"Next, I activate my own Galaxy Cyclone! This will destroy your last Lost Wind on the field."

"Then I chain by activating it immediately! Now your Decode Talker's effect is negated loses half of its original ATK." Green specks of wind blew throughout the field. It travels over to Decode Talker, causing it to react in the same manner as Zeroboros when it got affected by the trap card.

[Decode Talker (ATK 2800 ~ 1650)]

"Even if you weaken Decode Talker, I can still use it and Zeroboros for another Link Summoning, and since I control a Link-3 and a Link-4 monster respectively, can you guess what Link Rating of the monster I'll be bringing out?"

From the tone in which he asked that question, Yuou felt a small drop of sweat coming down the right side of her face. It was these moments where she felt that things were about to come to an end soon in their various duels beforehand.

She then found her words. "From the looks of it, I would guess a Link-2 or Link 4?"

"Precisely…" He then started another chant, but this time, it was different than before.

"Manifest! The future circuit that lights up my path!" The Arrowhead Portal appears from above.

"Arrowheads confirmed! The requirements are 2+ Effect Monsters!" Both the negated Decode Talker and Topologic Zeroboros transformed into light, but this time, they flew into the empty arrowheads more violently, located at the top, bottom-left, bottom, and bottom-right of the portal.

"LINK SHŌKAN! Appear! Link 4 Topologic Bomber Dragon!"

As the wireframe of the monster completes its form, it appears on the field with a loud roar, and strong winds blown upon its entrance. Compare to Code Talker and Decode Talker, this huge, orange draconic-like Cyberse monster was of a similar structure to Zeroboros. Its face was only a single gap with a green orb inside, its legs were nonexistent, and its tails were a single loop. In the eyes of the young man, the Cyberse monster exists as an anthropomorphic creature born from the study of space properties that are preserved under continuous deformations in mathematics.

[Topologic Bomber Dragon (DARK, Cyberse / Link / Effect, Link Arrows: Top, Bottom-Left, Bottom, Bottom-Right, ATK 3000 / Link-4)]

As Yuou gazes upon its form, she can tell that this monster is much different from the "Code Talkers", as this monster, like with Zeroboros, has an immense presence of giving off an ability to destroy everything in sight rather than to defend from harm.

"As with all Link Monsters on the field, my Topologic Bomber Dragon gains 500 ATK."

[Topologic Bomber Dragon (ATK 3000 - 3500)]

"And now… Battle! Topologic Bomber Dragon attacks your Guardian Angel Joan!" The large draconic-like Cyberse monster rears its head back a bit and shot forth a destructive pink laser beam at the magician.

It was a sight that felt awe aspiring than fearful in the young man's perspective. The strong blowback from the force of the laser beam being shot off shows itself in the wind, and while the angel tries to defend herself manages from the attack by creating a holy barrier, it wasn't enough as it broke underneath the pressure, and vaporize her into pixels.

[Yuou, LP: 8000 ~ 7800]

"When Topologic Bomber Dragon attacked a monster, I can inflict effect damage to your LP equal to its original ATK after the Damage Calculation." The monster gains a reddish aura and starts to grip its hand into a fist while pink electricity sparks around the arm.

He raised his hand in a "finger-gun" gesture at Yuou. "Aiming Blast!"

Topologic Bomber Dragon swung its massive arm to release the energy in a form of an attack. The energy blast in a crescent shape flew at the girl, crashing against the protective sphere.

[Yuou, LP: 7800 ~ 5000]

"I set two cards face-down. Turn End."

[Turn 4 completed: Unknown, LP: 3450, Hand: 1, Deck: 24]

[Turn 5: Yuou, LP: 5000, Hand: 9 - 10, Deck: 14 ~ 13]

"Boku no turn, draw!" As a new card appears in her virtual hand, Yuou looks over her virtual hand and saw all the pieces coming towards her to defeat her opponent this turn.

"It's been a great duel… but it's time to end things here. I activate the spell card, Monster Reborn! This will allow me to resurrect a monster from my GY, and I choose Guardian Angel Joan!" A dark-purple portal appears on the ground, allowing the angel to take to the field once again.

"Next, I activate another spell card, Magical Stone Excavation! By discarding two cards from my hand, I add one spell card from my GY to my hand." Then, the Monster Reborn spell card appears back in her virtual hand.

"I'll activate Monster Reborn again! This time, I'll resurrect another monster from my GY, an old friend known as Emes the Infinity!"

A new monster took to the field after rising out of the dark-purple portal. It was a mechanical serpent-like creature with a humanoid upper body. Its appearance invokes a divinity that's reminiscent of Joan, but of a different religion. With its four arms, it holds a shield in the lower left hand, a golden scabbed in the upper left one and the sword with its lower right hand.

[Emes the Infinity (LIGHT, Machine / Effect, LV 7, ATK 2500 / DEF 2000)]

"The special summoning doesn't stop there! For the next spell card, I activate Summon Dice! I pay 1000 LP…"

[Yuou, LP: 5000 ~ 4000]

"…and roll a six-sided die." Just like with Orgoth, Yuou snaps her fingers. The die that appears on her visor screen jump into the air rotating before falling back down.

The result: 4.

"Great, a four! Now I can resurrect another monster from my GY. Come forth, Desperado Barrel Dragon!"

The fourth monster came to appearance on Yuou's field. It was a dragon-like machine monster. It has a red and yellow tail that stretches up to his neck, and both its arms and head were structured like a revolver.

[Desperado Barrel Dragon (DARK, Machine / Effect, LV 8, ATK 2800 / DEF 2200)]

"I still have one more summoning to conduct, but to so, I'll normal summon Ahrima, the Wicked Warden!"

A hound-like creature appears on the field, with a rather demonic appearance. It has red eyes, jagged fin-like ears, and rows of purple stone spikes on its back. On top of its head shows a single red eye, with the rest of the blue part of its head resembling an unknown creature.

[Ahrima, the Wicked Warden (DARK, Fiend / Effect, LV 4, ATK 1700 / DEF 0)]

"It won't be staying one field for long, as I tribute it with its own effect to draw a card!" Ahrima dematerialized from the field as Yuou gains another card in her virtual hand, but a dark-purple portal appears on the ground from where Ahrima once stood.

"Since I tributed a DARK monster, I can resurrect a Darkest Diablos, Lord of the Lair!" As on cue, the final monster roar as it flew out of the portal. It was a black dragon covered with chains. It has rows of red lines across its body, and sharp scales that jagged out. It roars into battle, as it flaps its wings, and stares down at the opponent with its sharp blue eyes. The chains around its body violently shook, and the rest of its allies were ready for action.

[Darkest Diablos, Lord of the Lair (DARK, Dragon / Effect, LV 8, ATK 3000 / DEF 2000)]

At the sight of her five monsters on the field, Yuou can't help but feel giddy. "I hope you're ready to survive my five-headed army, because I activate my Field Spell, Lair of Darkness! Now all of our monsters on the field become DARK Attribute!"

[Guardian Angel Joan (Attribute: LIGHT - DARK)]

[Orgoth the Relentless (Attribute: EARTH - DARK)]

[Emes the Infinity (Attribute: LIGHT - DARK)]

"Now that that's done, I activate the Quick-Play Spell Card, Twin Twister! I'll discard one card, and destroy your Cynet Storm and left set card! Furthermore, with your Field Spell gone, Bomber Dragon loses 500 ATK."

[Topologic Bomber Dragon (ATK 3500 ~ 3000)]

"I hope you didn't forget, if Bomber Dragon gets attacked, you lose LP equal to your attacking monster's original ATK."

"Perhaps so, but with the effects from three of my monsters on the field, I can circumvent my potential LP loss. Starting with Orgoth, I use his effect once more!" She snaps her fingers, and the three-die roll commences again.

The results: 3/2/5

"Look at that! I got a three, a two, and a five, meaning that Orgoth gets 1000 more ATK!"

[Orgoth the Relentless (ATK 2500 - 3500)]

"But why stop there? Now for my Desperado's effect, I toss three coins, and if any of them are heads, I can destroy that many face-up monsters on the field. Coin Toss!" As she said the phrase, three coins appear on her visor screen and flip into the air. They descended down and revealed the results.

The results: Tails/Heads/Tails

"Looks like I don't have to attack your Topologic Bomber Dragon to win after all, as my Desperado's effect will destroy it instead!" The monster then aims its gun barrel head and arms at the orange, draconic-like Cyberse monster, three-barrel chambers slowly click as it was about to shoot.

"Sometimes, despite your intellect, you still have that youthful impulsiveness. That would lead to certain mistakes at crucial moments."

Now, whenever at times where Yuou though she manages to have her friend cornered, hearing him make a certain comment means something bad for her, and she'll witness this firsthand again.

"Reverse card open, Zero-Day Blaster! All I have to do to activate this card's effect is by tributing one DARK Link Monster I control…" Topologic Bomber Dragon then left the field by dematerializing into pixels. "…and I can target cards on the field equal to its Link Rating and destroy them! I'm choosing your Orgoth the Relentless, Guardian Angel Joan, Emes the Infinity, and Desperado Barrel Dragon!"

Then in a blink of an eye, four of Yuou's five-headed army was destroyed into pixels, leaving the single Darkest Diablos as her sole monster for an attack.

She gritted her teeth in frustration, as she wants to bang her hand against a wall for overlooking such a beginner's mistake. Yet, considering who her friend is and the way he builds and uses a deck in their previous duels against each other, she isn't surprised or angry at him.

"Dang it! In that case, I'll attack you directly with Darkest Diablos! Chip into his LP!" She commanded, and the dark dragon shot for a purple beam from its mouth, intending for it to the opponent. Just like with Joan, the young man maneuver to the side to avoid the beam.

[Unknown, LP: 3450 ~ 450]

"Thank you for doing that, now I can special summon this card in my hand, Interrupt Resistor!"

The monster that appears on the field was a humanoid, wearing white clothing armor with a neon green design, along with a hood and cape. Its face was obscured by a bird-like mask and wields two combat knives of high-tech design.

[Interrupt Resistor (LIGHT, Cyberse / Effect, LV 6, ATK 0 / DEF 2100)]

"Furthermore, it also gains ATK equal to the damage I just took from Diablos."

[Interrupt Resistor (ATK 0 - 3000)]

Looking over the rest of her virtual hand, Yuou saw that she could still salvage a victory with her last two cards, "Roulette Spider" and "Dimensional Sphinx". Furthermore, she also has two monster cards in her GY to help as well if her opponent attacks.

"I set my last two cards. At the End Phase, the Lair of Darkness' effect activates. Since you tributed a monster, you get one "Torment Token" on your side of the field in defense mode."

Appearing on the field shows a shadowy creature with a creepy facial expression of reminds one of the feelings of being tormented.

[Torment Token (DARK, Fiend / Token, LV 3, DEF 1000 / ATK 1000)]

"Turn End."

[Turn 5 completed: Yuou, LP: 4000, Hand: 0, Deck: 12]

[Turn 6: Unknown, LP: 450, Hand: 0 – 1, Deck: 24 ~ 23]

"Ore no turn, draw." As he drew his single card, the young man has found a way to turn things around.

"Before I do anything else, I banished Galaxy Cyclone in my GY to destroy your face-up Appropriate! So, no drawing more cards for you, as you'll probably deck out from what I'm about to execute with this card. I play The Beginning of the End! If there are 7 DARK monsters in my GY, I can banish 5 five cards and draw three new ones." On his visor screen, "Code Talker", "Decode Talker", "Topologic Bomber Dragon", "Topologic Zeroboros", and "Datacorn" were sent to the banished zone. Then, three new cards appear in his virtual hand.

Looking over three cards, he now has the method to end this duel this turn. "Are you ready? Causes it's time for the finale, I activate my own Pot of Desires!"

10 cards from the top of his deck were banished, allowing him to have two more cards appear in his virtual hand. "The drawing won't stop there; I activate Pot of Acquisitiveness! I'll return three banished monsters to my deck to draw one card." Code Talker, Topologic Zeroboros, and Topologic Bomber Dragon then return to the Extra Deck.

He gains another card in his virtual hand. "For this one, "I normal summon Balancer Lord." The monster appears onto his field in a knight-like appearance, wielding both a sword and a shield.

[Balancer Lord (LIGHT, Cyberse / Effect, LV 4, ATK 1700 / DEF 1200)]

"Now that I have a minimum of two Cyberse monsters on the field, I can activate this spell card, Drastic Draw! What this card does is that I banish all monsters on my side of the field, with a minimum of two, and draw three new cards." Interrupt Resistor, Balancer Lord, and the Torment Token all dematerialized from the field, and three new cards appear in his virtual hand.

"As a catch, I can't normal or special summon any monsters for the rest of turn, except for Cyberse monsters. Luckily, I don't have to worry about that minor detail. Furthermore, with Balancer Lord being banished, I can special summon one Level 4 or lower monster from my hand!"

Appearing on the field shows a white pixelated robot with its entire head being supported by its little body part underneath.

[Dotscaper (EARTH, Cyberse / Effect, LV 1, ATK 0 / DEF 2100)]

"Time for another Link Summoning!" On cue, the Arrowhead Portal appears above him. "Arrowheads confirmed! The requirement is a Level 1 monster!" Dotscaper flew into the empty arrowhead located on the bottom of the portal.

"Circuit Combine! LINK SHŌKAN! Appear! Link 1 Linkuriboh!"

Unlike the Code Talkers and Topologic Link Monsters, Linkuriboh is merely Cyberse monster that's identical in appearance to the original Kuriboh card. Instead of looking organic, it exists as a VR being with only two feet and a tail. It then lands in the Left Extra Monster Zone.

[Linkuriboh (DARK, Cyberse / Link / Effect, Link Arrows: Bottom, ATK 300, Link-1)]

"Dotscaper's effects activate, allowing it to resurrect itself from my GY in defense mode." Appearing on the field again is the white pixilated robot.

"Now that I have a Link Monster pointing to an unoccupied zone, I special summon Link Infra-Flier to the zone it points to!" Flying out of the blue digitalized portal is a Cyberse monster in the shape of a blue paraglider with hands underneath.

[Link Infra-Flier (WIND, Cyberse / Effect, LV 2, ATK 0 / DEF 1800)]

"Also, I hope you're not too attached to your Diablos, as I'm about to take control of it by activating Mind Control!" Yuou's eyes widen a bit at her only monster switching over to her opponent's side of the field, rendering her face-down Dimensional Sphinx useless now.

'Not too much of a problem… I still got Clear Kuriboh and Electromagnetic Turtle…' Unfortunately for her, the young followed up with two copies of Called by the Grave, banishing the two in her GY and preventing any more copies of them from activating this turn.

'…I stand corrected.' If anything, her only chance now is using Roulette Spider.

"Time for my last Link Summoning!" The Arrowhead Portal appears above him. "Arrowheads confirmed! The requirements are 2+ Effect Monsters!" Linkuriboh, Dotscaper, Link Infra-Flier, and Darkest Diablos, Lord of the Lair turned into light and violently flew into the empty arrowhead located on the bottom of the portal.

"LINK SHŌKAN! Appear again! Link 4 Topologic Zeroboros!"

As the serpentine draconic-like Cyberse monster appears on the field again, it lets out a roar as its ATK is raised from its own effect.

[Topologic Zeroboros (ATK 3000 - 5400)]

"This Duel ends here… Topologic Zeroboros, attack!"

"Argh! I won't let this end here! Activating my last face-down, Roulette Spider!"

"So, it all comes down to luck this time huh? Even though this is only a mock Duel, luck won't always be a good factor at times, especially when you needed it the most." The young man said.

"Even so… a Duel isn't over till the last card is played. For this situation, I need to get a 5 or 6 as the result since it's my only option now. Dice Roll!" For the final time, the die appears on both of their visor screens.

It's thrown into the air and rapidly rotates as it comes back down. As rotation ends on the ground, the results have been shown to the two Duelists.

The results: 1.

To safely say, Yuou grimace as the result isn't what she had in mind. In fact, it was now more detrimental than any of the other results.

[Yuou, LP: 4000 ~ 2000]

"Hmm… it looks like luck isn't on your side this time. But if it's any indication, you have fought well Yuou. I can say that you definitely have what it takes to win in the Entrance Exam."

The sincerity in his tone was there, and Yuou can't help but give a small… if somewhat sorrow of a smile. As she took her defeat with grace, and she had a fun time with her close friend and Dueling mentor. "I guess… this is my loss."

If the young man were to have his facial expressions be seen, then his rare smile would be shown to the girl. Showing that she had come far from their previous Duels. "Final Disorder Code!"

At the final command of its controller, Zeroboros charges up its final attack with a huge orange laser beam at the girl. The beam crashes against the protective sphere, while the little girl is unharmed as she nods her head forward with her eyes briefly closed.

[Yuou, LP: 2000 ~ 0]

WINNER: Unknown

The bluish hue around them dissipated as the original colors of the world return to normal, and the young man turns around to face the other direction while Yuou is right behind him on his D-Wheel. He jumps high into the air to create a backflip and graciously landed back onto his D-Wheel with the girl hugging him from behind. He deactivated his D-Skates, and place them back into the slots on the sides of his D-Wheel. The D-Skates dismantle itself into the slots, with the servos locking itself up with a mechanical sound, and he places his feet back on the pedals of his D-Wheel.

He drove the D-Wheel until he stops at a location on the lane, where the Kaibaland Stadium was just over the horizon. It was at least 10 more miles away from their distance, but with some added features on his D-Wheel, he can get himself and Yuou to the place right on time, as he only got 30 more minutes to spare before their scheduled Duels. As he and Yuou watch the Kaibaland Stadium from afar, he was the first one to speak.

"Well then, it seems like we have quite the experience of the duel before our upcoming schedule one did, we?" He asked, to which Yuou giggle in return.

"Are you kidding me? Compare to you, I still believe that the proctor of who I'll have to deal with isn't going to match up to this."

"Don't underestimate any other Duelist just because you got some experience against tougher ones in your area, as you might not know what sort of cards, they possess that could cripple your strategies." He said to make sure that Yuou wouldn't grow a big head just because she manages to beat him at least three times before.

"Haaaaa… that's true. But from what I've seen, you'll be able to defeat pretty much anyone from Japan to America. In fact, pretty much any Duelist who in the metagame had heard of your prowess… Yakuin." She said as she looks at the young man.

The young man, who is now known as Yakuin Masterson, only continues to look forward a bit. He then brought his hands up to his helmet and took it off. He held the helmet to the side, and brought his hand up, and brush his short messy black hair from it being messed up further in his helmet. He turns to meet Yuou's face, his dark-brown eyes with darkening rings underneath looking upon the young girl he befriended three years ago.

"Perhaps… but I'm nowhere close to the skills of the man who brought me into his family all those years ago. Maybe…" He turned away to look back at the Stadium. "… just maybe, the gap between us is starting close as I further collaborate with Kaiba-sama to creating the Cyberse cards."

Seeing how he deliberately stop making eye contact with her, Yuou can tell that things are a bit rocky between her friend and his family, but it isn't her business to pry into someone else's familial problems, much less familial problems in a different country and of high-profile status. But if there's one thing that Yakuin told Yuou about his adoptive family, is that things aren't problematic in a conventional sense, just certain goals and beliefs differing between them.

"Still… I do wish you luck on being able to work things out." She spoke with sincerity.

Yakuin didn't meet Yuou's eyes, but nods in acknowledgment. Yuou then turns to see the stadium in silence with her close companion, enjoying the peaceful tranquility between them.

But unknown to both of them, their adventures together have just begun in this brave new world of Duel Monsters.

Author's Notes

Hello everyone! I apologize for the rewrite of this story as I intended to have a fresh new start in this new year of 2021! Since it's such a bitch to write entertaining duels, the updates of the chapters won't be scheduled and will appear at random intervals in time. Now that I have the whole storyline and characters planned out, I can safely say that the fanfic will be continuing onwards here. Starting off, I've got the two main characters for this fanfic, but it'll mostly be the two that get the POV in the first season; "Tao-yi Yuou" and "Yakuin Masterson".

For "Tao-yi Yuou", her Taiwanese surname name is written as 道伊, meaning "his or her way" in Chinese, while it's pronounced as "DOW-EE". Her Japanese given name 遊王(Yuō), is literally translated to "game king", as a reference to the name theming of the Yu-tagonists. Lastly, her full name can be translated and spoken as "her way as the game king".

For "Yakuin Masterson", his given name can be written as literally "Staff Member(s)" in Japanese. Consider how Seto Kaiba's name sounds similar to "Seitokai", meaning "Student Council/Student Council President" in Japanese, it's kind of humorous and fitting that the two of them are business associates. His western surname means "superior". So, in eastern naming order, his full name means "superior staff member".

I felt that having some original characters would give me some flexibility in Yu-Gi-Oh! fanfics, as they can be the ones that could use multiple decks with different archetypes without having to change certain things about the pre-establishing ones in the canon manga and anime. Plus, I've been getting addicted to Duel Links lately and been reading the OCG Structures manga to get some ideas for the fanfic.

Some characters from the manga, DSoD, GX, 5Ds, and ZEXAL will make an appearance later on, but not in the way you would think, and I'll be only using the Japanese names for the characters along with the proper use of honorifics in their interactions.

There will still be a romance with another original character, and definitely lemons, but writing them isn't really my strong suit and I'm not a very experienced writer to make the conversations flow better, but I'll try to improve on that as the story goes on. I enjoy reading the duels, but when it comes to writing them, it's hard for me to come up with them since I already know how it goes. I also took out the harem idea, as I can't write the genre unless it'll be pure smut in my mind.

Lastly, shout-out to Yung Warrior's "State of the Meta," Starlight's Poet's "Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc V: Pendulum's Fifth Swing," HaretaSora's "Duelist of Numbers," Azure_witch13 and Green Phantom Queen's "Zero Hour," Jack Wayne's "Beneath a Phrygian Sky," Golden Alpha Kitsune's "Enter the King!," and scififan599's "Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS: Hidden Memories" and "Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V: The Fifth Circuit" for the inspiration of this story's creation.

"It's Doctor! I didn't spend 8 ½ years for a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering to be addressed as "Doc" or anything else."

"It's time to get your game on!"

"Just because I'm Italian doesn't mean I speak phrases like "Mamma Mia" or all that crap like the Super Mario Bros. video game!"

"Come back to the field, Black Magician!"

"WHAT?! How does a brat like you have rare cards like that!?"

"I may be a little girl, but I've been through enough to challenge you here. And I'll prove it to you by commencing a Fusion Summon!"
