A young 15-year-old boy named Peter Parker was walking on the streets of Central City. What he had with him was his brown hair, hazel eyes, a red collared shirt with dark blue shorts that he was both wearing, and a brown backpack with many items in it. He was saddened that his city has been badly damaged ever since a black hole or whatever almost consumed the city entirely. Rumors at his school had spread like wildfire that the so-called Burning Man sacrificed his life to save the city. Peter believed in that rumor and it was his death that inspired him to be something more than just a skinny nerdy kid that always got picked on.
He became Central City's Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man
6 months ago, he and his classmates took a field trip to Mercury Labs, and during that trip, he was bitten by some kind of Supernatural Spider, which technically made him a Metahuman, with the powers of Wall crawling, Enhanced Senses, and Strength.
But now, Mercury Labs was taken over by his Best Friend's Dad, who renamed it Oscorp, because the former CEO disappeared under mysterious circumstances, or that's just what the papers say.
The entire Black Hole fiasco has really affected him and his Aunt May because their house was destroyed in the process and they were forced to home to a very taxing apartment that was small, but was big enough for him and his Aunt.
The young man was then getting a call and he knew who it was.
"Hey Pete, are you still on your way to the Flash Day celebration?" Said a young woman's voice over the last year model phone Peter had.
"Sorry Gwen got held up in traffic, I'll be there shortly."
"Okay, but hurry up, who knows when or if the Flash is showing up!" Gwen shouted enthusiastically.
Peter hung up the phone and laughed at how much Gwen idolized the Flash and he ran into a deserted Alleyway and put on the suit that he had in his backpack. It was a red hoodie with a big and black Spider symbol on it, a red mask that included black goggles that help him focus better with white lenses, dark red fingerless gloves, his homemade web-shooters that had the strength of steel, blue sweatpants, and finally long red rain boots. He usually tries to remain discreet, but he's in a hurry and excited as much as Gwen is.
His best friend, Harry Osborn, on the other hand, is not as excited about this as he and Gwen are. If there is one thing Harry and his father can agree on, it's how much they think the Flash is a menace to society, and the only reason Harry was going was to get out of the house. It's a good thing that Harry's opinion on Central City's hero never stopped Peter and Gwen from being friends with him.
When the view of the event came to Peter's eyes, he expected to see countless fans cheering on for The Flash, but what he saw was a Metal masked muscular man throwing things at the Flash and dozens of people running around and screaming like there was no tomorrow.
So, Spider-Man thought quickly and used his webs to web his legs together and his arms to his sides, much to The Flash's confusion. Next, Spider-Man tied the man to the concrete. Then, Spider-Man, using all of his strength to pull a fire hydrant's lid, which was across from the man, from the red container. Finally, the hydrant's lid came off and water came into the man, almost knocking him out.
Flash finally spoke and asked, "Who the hell are you supposed to be?"
"Just a friendly Neighbor."
The Masked Meta used his strength to wake himself up and remove the webs from himself and before he could make a move against the duo, a device was attached to his right leg and from the looks from the Spider and Speedster, the device came from a gun and the gun was being held by a young man with long black hair and behind him was Detective West, with a gun pointed at the Metal headed Metahuman. Unfortunately, the device didn't slow him down, and from the looks of it, it made this man stronger and more importantly, bigger. The Flash then ran away, to Spider-Man's confusion.
"Hey, Flash, not sure you noticed, but we have a problem here!"
"Don't worry, he always has a plan." The man that Spider-Man recognized as Cisco Ramon.
Detective West gave him back his gun and told him to run for it. Moments after that, Flash came back with two gas tanks.
"What are those for?" Spidey asked.
Flash just ignored him and told the detective, "I throw, you shoot!"
Detective West nodded and they did just that, leaving the blond criminal to return to normal size and taking off his mask, revealing a blond man with angered eyes.
"That's Al Rothstein." Said Joe West as he pointed at the man, shocked.
"Who?" Spider-Man asked the Detective.
"The body we found at the Nuclear Plant, he's alive!"
The blond Metahuman then put back on his Metal helmet and fled the scene, leaving the Detective and the Scarlet Speedster completely speechless and this moment gave Spidey the perfect time to run for it and fled the scene.
At the Central city Police Department, Joe and Barry arrive there and are talking about the events that just occurred.
"So, who was that guy that helped us?" Barry asked.
"He's a new Metahuman that showed up during the 6 months that we were rebuilding Central City and he's been keeping himself out of the spotlight for those months," Joe informed Barry.
"You knew about a new Metahuman and you didn't even bother to tell me about him?" Bary asked Joe, annoyed.
"Honesty Bar, you haven't given me a chance to talk to you about that, because you have been so concerned to throw yourself into danger."
Barry didn't expect that, but to be honest, Barry felt like he deserved it. He has been pushing people away from his life ever since Ronnie's death. But Barry played it off like he didn't hear that and said, "I'll be in my lab if you need me."
As he left Joe sighed, knowing that it was probably going to be a while to get Barry to open up and went to Cisco, who was looking upon the guy that ruined Flash Day.
"Gwen, Harry, I'm sorry that I wasn't there, traffic was terrible," Peter said to his friends.
Three teenagers were seen at a coffee shop called Tiffany's. They usually went to Jitter's, but it was closed at the moment and they had to settle with this place, but it wasn't all bad, they had a sweet music player.
One of the teenagers was Peter Parker, you already know about him, Gwen Stacy, a blond-haired 14-year-old girl with eyes as green as a lilypad and a kind smile she could never take off, and the oldest of the group, Harry Osborn, with brown eyes and hair that resembled his fathers, a big wallet, lousy test grades and a guy who knew where all the best hangout spots were, but they never used or needed them, since Gwen already placed them at the best coffee houses in Central City.
"It's not a problem and it's probably best that you weren't there, you heard what happened, right?" Gwen asked him kindly.
"I think everyone from a 10-mile radius could've heard it." Peter joked.
"Definitely, the guy was at least 10 feet tall and was throwing the Flash around like he was a lasso or something," Harry told Peter.
"I also heard a rumor that there was another guy that showed up to the party?" Peter asked Gwen and Harry.
"Was there, I didn't see, we were just trying to find the exit," Harry asked.
"I saw and it was that Spider person that was rumored to be seen across Central City," Gwen said.
Both Gwen and Harry's phone began to ring and they saw it was their parents. They both said together, "Gotta go, dad's worried."
Peter was left alone and that gave him a chance to look up the guy's name that he heard from Detective Joe West. Peter was disappointed that his search led him nowhere, and all he found was that Al Rothstein's DEAD BODY was found at the Central City's Nuclear Power Plant and from his Facebook account, he was on his Honeymoon when the Particle Accelerator exploded.
Peter said under his breath, "I'm going to need another coffee."
We went to the booth and that's when he saw one of his favorite authors of all time; Iris West, the writer of the Flash stories.
He had to say something and without any idea what he was doing, he went up to her and said, "Um, Iris West?"
"Do I know you?" Iris asked, startled.
"No, I just wanted to say that I was-am I big fan of your blog and that's just what I wanted to say," Peter told you nervously.
Iris relaxed and gave him a warm smile and said, "Thanks, it's actually been a while since I've done the whole blog thing. What's your name?"
"Peter Parker."
"Wait a minute," Iris said, also getting excited. "Aren't you that ace photographer at the Daily Bugle?"
"Oh, that it's nothing, just freelance work," Peter said, with a small blush.
"Are you kidding, those shots were awesome! And I find it cool that some of those photos were about a certain Web-Slinger."
"Hey, whenever I see him, I try to take whatever I can."
"Have you ever thought of taking pictures of the Flash?" Iris asked Peter.
"Yeah, but all I get is a blur, maybe that's what they should call him instead," Peter said jokingly, much to Iris's amusement. "Or maybe he should be called 'The Ghost'."
"I hope not, because The Flash has a better ring to it," Iris said, smiling.
"How do the guys get their names anyway, do they name themselves or does the press do that?" Peter asked her, enjoying this conversation.
"Trust me kid, where I work, no one smart enough could come up with any of those titles," Iris said.
"Hey, Iris, ready to go?" Asked the Detective named Joe West, who Peter recognized.
"Yeah, Dad, be right there," Iris told him as Joe left for his car. "Hey, it's been great talking to you, wanna do this again sometime, maybe compare blogs and photos?"
"Uh-yeah, that sounds great!" Peter exclaimed.
"Great, see you around!" Iris said as she left.
As Peter got his new coffee, he exclaimed under his breath, "That. Was. Awesome!"
When Iris and Joe were going to their car, Joe asked his daughter who that kid was that she was talking to. And iris answered, "Peter Parker, the incredibly amazing photo-taker of the Daily Bugle!"
"You know, every time I hear and/or think of that place, I always think how lucky you are that you didn't work for that old douchebag."
Iris giggled at his comment and said, "Don't worry dad, I am never going to work for that Jameson, but right now, we see Barry and deal with this guy."
"Right, of course, Cisco is meeting us there at S.T.A.R Labs."
It was 8 P.M. and Peter was at his small, but an adjustable apartment with his Aunt May. he saw her gray-haired, blue-eyed Aunt at the kitchen table, looking at bills or at least trying to decide which one she should put off. He was able to provide a little bit of money for the pictures, but then, out of nowhere, Peter saw a lighting symbol in the sky. He then covered their window with a white curtain and said, "Aunt May, I'm heading out."
"Okay Peter, but remember, be back by 8:30," she said strictly.
"Got it," Peter said as he left through the door.
Peter ran outside the apartment building, climbed up the fire escape, and opened his bedroom window to retrieve his backpack, which had his suit and webs in it.
He climbed down and retreated into the back of the building and put on his suit and web-shooters as fast as he could and swung himself to the source of the light.
It wasn't easy, but Spider-Man was able to follow the Scarlet Speedster and the Blond Metal human inside the Nuclear Power Plant, but he didn't interfere with what was happening, he just used his eyes and ears and observed what was happening. From the looks of it, The Flash was overpowering the Metahuman and Peter finally knew what powered him; Atomic Power and Radiation.
When the man was defeated, he was close to death, but Peter was able to hear what he said to Flash; A man called Zoom told the guy to kill him so that he could go home.
