Chapter 1: A Tragedy
The story continues after the summer training camp before school festival at Sakura highschool started
This evening, at the music club room. There is Yui, Mio, Ritsu, and Mugi. They've recently come. Not for long after they arrived, their 5th member comes to the room
"Azu-nyann!" Yui screams while running and hugs Azusa which recently just come in
"Mooo, Yui senpai, stop hugging me" Azusa tried to push Yui which hugging her
"Yui stops please, let Azusa catch her breath" said by Mio
"I have the feeling you would do that" added Ritsu
"How about cakes?" offers Mugi smiling, and without second thinking they take their seat to eat cakes and drink tea
"Thank you, Mugi-chan" Yui said, grinning. "As always, the cakes that Mugi brought are so yummy!" she continues while cutting the cake to her portion. Mugi can't be helped but smiling for the response.
"Sawa-chan isn't coming yet?" asked Ritsu to the rest in the room
"I was crossing with her today. She said she wants to buy some packs of tone paper for orchestra club. So she can't join us today" said Mio, holding the cake in front of her mouth
"Darn Sawa-chan. She went serious when it comes to another club things" Ritsu complaining
"Ma.. ma.. ma.. ma.. at least sensei is happy with us," said by Mugi while she is pouring the tea to their cups
"Do you think our club is a cafe huh?" answered Ritsu
"Pfftttt" Mio start to laughing and the rest laughing too
Eating cakes, drinking tea, laughing together, talk about cute stuff. The five of them, Yui, Ritsu, Mugi, Mio, and Azusa. As the part of K-ON club in Houkago Tea Time (HTT) band
Time flies fast, the clock is 6 o'clock, evening. They are preparing to go home. As always Mugi takes the members' cups and plates one by one from their table to the tray. She goes to sink and wash them skillfully
"Mugi, arrigatou for the cakes. Sorry for always troubling you"
She smiled. "Ma.. no problem Mio-chan, this is the things I want to do"
At another corner, Azusa is carrying his bag and walking to take her guitar
"Aaazunyan!" again, Yui screams and hugging Azusa from behind
"Kyaa!" Azusa was shocked
"Mooo, Yui senpai! How if I stumbled and injured?!" Azusa complaining and tried to escape from Yui's hug
"It's ok Azunyan, you won't stumble because I am hugging you right now"
"Good job Yui, hold her like that for a while!" Ritsu suddenly join the conversation
"Hai' captain Ricchan!"
"KIYAAAA!" Azusa screams loudly
SMACK! SMACK!
Looks like Mio smacking her best friend heads. She turns over Azusa. "Azusa, are you okay?"
"Ahh, I am good senpai, thanks"
"You two, stop slacking around, and don't disturb Azusa!"
"Mio-chan cruel~" they're answering in unison
"Yui-senpai please stop hugging me and don't call my name with that strange name" Azusa frowned
"Eeee? But you are cute and feels good to be hugged" Yui not considers Azusa's request
"Yui senpai-" Azusa want to continue but Mio cut her
"Yui, be nice to Azusa or she will leave the club"
"Yes.." said Yui
That night, at Hirasawa's household, Ui is preparing the food.
"Onee-chan, dinner" Ui calling bringing their dinner. Yui which daydreaming on kotatsu are awake by her sister's calls
"Ah, Ui, sorry, I was daydreaming. Thank you for the food"
"Itadakimasu" they said together
Ui organize the food neatly
"Ui, as always your food is so tasty" as Yui chewing her food
"Onee-chan, don't talking while you eat" Ui smiled
"Ehehehe, sorry sorry"
And they continue their eating
"Thanks for the food," those sisters said
Ui is cleaning their eating tools and take it to the sink. 'What is onee-chan thinking about? I have seen her daydreaming' Ui's thought. After she finished, she goes to mid-room and seeing her sister daydreaming again under the kotatsu
"Onee-chan" she called her sister
"Ahh, Ui. Sorry, what is wrong?" as she awake from her daydreaming
"I had been seeing onee-chan daydreaming twice. Do you have any problem?" she tilted her head
"Ah, really? Ehehehe" she is scratching her backhead. "Nothing happens... it just..". As she continues Ui cut her
"It just?" Ui tilted her head again
"Ummmm, how if I suddenly change?" Yui asked
"Change how onee-chan?"
"Mm, how do I say it. It's like I study well, I'm helping to clean the house and preparing the food. Completely different from me right now" Yui says that showing her enthusiasm
"Well, I'll definitely surprised" Ui answered. "Is that what onee-chan daydreaming caused by?" she tilted her head as she asked
Yui nods a little. "Ui... I guess Azusa didn't like me" she said with a sad tone
"No way onee-chan, she doesn't look like that" Ui disagreed
"But she looked like that before. She asked me to stop hugging her"
"I think she is tired onee-chan"
"Really?... Haaa, I am relieved" she said with a happy tone
The next day, at the club music room. The five of them are practicing for the school festival that will come
"Mioooo, I am tired" Ritsu sighed
"We just practicing a little, stop joking around around"
"Ma ma, Mio-chan, it'll be better if we take a rest first. There is much time left before school festival" Mugi said calmly
"But, Mugi.."
"Don't worry Mio-chan. I'll be singing this year. Certainly!" said by Yui suddenly with spirit
"That's right, so this year we could avoid what happen before, hihihi" Ritsu added
"Horaaaaaaa!" Mio screams, she is blushing
"Mio blushing!" Now Ritsu the one screams
SMACK!
"A a a www" Ritsu holding her head. Mugi just approaching and ask her if she needs a bag of ice
"Whatever it is, we have to practice more" Mio is being serious. "And Yui!" suddenly she pointing to Yui
"Ye-yes!" Yui stutters
"I don't want what happen on the student welcoming concert is happening again!" Mio says
"What happens?" Azusa tilting her head
"Yui forgot the lyrics in the middle of the concert" Mio crossed her arms
"Calm Mio-chan, I will depen-"
SMACK!
"That day we were been luck. Anyways you cannot always depend on me like that" Mio answered, still crossing her arms
'Mio-senpai is so scary today' Azusa is gulping
Right now, only Mugi and Azusa which one safe from Mio's smack. Sure, only the two of them which not cause any problem to Mio
"Let's drink the tea first?", Mugi tried to help those two
"R-right, the lesson before was so troublesome, now I am a bit hungry now" Azusa continues. She really doesn't want to see the black hair senior get pissed off anymore
Mio exhaling. "Haaaa... whatever. Smacking two peoples need extra energy." As she walks over her table
"Mio embarrassed!" Ritsu shouted
"Horaaaaaa!" Mio shouted too. She runs over Ritsu meant to smack her but she is held by the pianist and her junior
"Hold up Mio-chan!" Mugi locks both of Mio's shoulders from behind
"Mio-senpai! The tea will be cold!" while Azusa is trying to calm her down
"Haaaaaaaaah... I feel alive." Ritsu and Yui say it simultaneously. They are all drinking tea now
"Mugi, thank you for sa-" Ritsu stopped, Azusa shut her down
"Aaaaa... Mio-senpai, is strawberry cake is your favorite?" she is distracting her
Mio just tilts her head. "What's matter Azusa?" then she smiled. "Ah yes, the strawberry cake is my favorite." As she turns her glance to her cake. Ignoring the question herself asked before
Azusa release Ritsu. "Sorry senpai, it's dangerous to say that right now." Azusa whispers
"I understand." She answers shortly
"Azunyan?" Yui calls her
Azusa stops while she holds her cake with the fork. "What's senpai?"
Suddenly Yui jumps over Azusa and hugs her. "Azunyaaan!" She cannot hold herself seeing cute action between Azusa and Ritsu
"Yu-Yui-senpai! The cake! The cake will fall!" Azusa screams panicking
"Cake? What? She releases Azusa from her hugs and the cake at her fork falling to her uniform. Make it dirty because of the cake cream
"A-Azunyan.." Yui panics and the rest are frozen. They are shocked seeing the scene
"Aaa aaa aa. Let me clean it for you." Yui takes her handkerchief to brush the cream on Azusa's uniform
TASH!
She slaps Yui's hand. She stood with teary eyes, she is shaking
"Yui-senpai! I have said to you, please stop hugging me and calling me by that weird name!" She yelled to Yui
"Now look! Because of you, my uniform is tainted. I would get scolded by my dad and mom at home!" She continues. "Yui-senpai! Am I look comfortable with that?!"
"Azunyan, sorry." She tried to reach Azusa but she stays away
"Mio-senpai, Mugi-senpai, Ritsu senpai. Sorry, I will go home early." Then she takes her bag and guitar, quickly leave the room
During that event, no one is talking. This is the first time they see Azusa like that since she joins their club
"Yui, I told you to stop treat Azusa like that!" Mio yells to Yui. Then she walks over Yui and holds her shoulders. "Do you want Azusa leaves the club?" as she shakes Yui's shoulders
"Mio-chan! Calm down!" Mugi is parting them
"Yui? Are you okay?" asked Ritsu, she concerns because Yui isn't a single word though Mio shook her
"Yui!" again, Mio yells to her
Yui startled. "So-sorry, maybe I was too much. I don't want Azunyan to leave our club," she is sobbing
Hear Yui's sobs she manage to control her emotion. She remembers if Yui is an overreacting person from the beginning and no way she has bad intention to do that
"Yu-Yui, I am sorry," she regrets her action
Yui shakes her head. "No, this is my fault."
"Yui-chan, you have to apologize to Azusa tomorrow," advice Mugi
"Yes I'll help you," Ritsu is encouraging her
"Ricchan, Mugi-chan," Yui eyes is sparkling
"Yoooosh, I'll do something tomorrow!" Then she punches the air. "Oooooh!"
'Well, it is pointless to worry about you,' thought Mio and Ritsu
"Yare yare," Mugi said
