Here is the translation of another short one-short I wrote, that I particularly like, I hope you will like it too !

Enjoy :)

Sam was walking past Dean's room when bursts of voices from inside reached him :

- Come on, Cas, please. You told me you would!

- I said I could do it, not that I would, Dean. I'm not even supposed to be considering this.

- Please, Cas. Just once! For me. You know how much I love this...

Sam tiptoed away, vaguely nauseous. Whatever they were talking about, he didn't want to hear any more!

ooo

Sam was quietly reading, installed at one of the tables of the library, when Dean arrived like a cannonball. He called out to him with a big smile on his face.

- Sammy! You absolutely have to come and see! Follow me!

The younger brother put down his book and obeyed, disconcerted. The elder led him with a motivated step to the kitchen of the bunker, where Cas was waiting for them. Cas dressed in a white toga over his trench coat. Cas in front of a piece of apple pie quite ordinary, in a plate, it also of the most common. Sam was beginning to fear the worst. Dean turned to him and indicated Cas and the pie with a theatrical gesture.

- Admire, Sammy! The Great Miracle!

The so-called Miracle gave Dean an unconvinced look. The hunter whispered to him with annoyance:

- Cas, please...

The angel rolled his eyes, checked that Sam had his attention, then closed his eyes and inhaled. He slowly moved his right hand over the piece of pie and, to Sam's amazement, a second piece of pie and his plate appeared on the table. Identical down to the imperfections of the plate. Dean jumped for joy.

- The multiplication of pies, Sammy!

Sam rolled his eyes but couldn't help smiling.

ooo

Providence struck the youngest Winchester again a little later in the day. He was heading to the kitchen to soothe his hungry tummy when the voices of his brother and Castiel reached him.

- The taste is really not good, Dean...

- It's normal, you're not used to it. Well, I think that for a first time, it's not so bad. Of course, it gets better with practice! You'll see, next time it will be much better!

Sam wished he were deaf. He would have gladly turned back, but his stomach protested vigorously. And on the other hand, his curiosity was getting the better of him. After all, last time, what he had taken for a saucy conversation was only the practice for a miracle revisited. Who knows what nonsense his brother was making Cas do this time... So he reached out.

- I'm not sure I should do this again... You know what my superiors might...

- Who cares what they think. Come on, Cas, Team Free Will, remember?

- ...

- So, you ready for another round?

- Dean, this is a tiring exercise. Give me a break...

A little silence. The training was obviously finished. Sam hesitated to go inside to get something to eat, even if it meant interrupting their new little magic trick. Cas' voice rose again.

- Dean... I told you I needed to recover.

- Come on, that's not that tiring!

Sam, consumed with curiosity, ventured a glance into the kitchen. He immediately regretted it when he discovered his brother and Castiel kissing passionately against the kitchen table. Finally, Sam wasn't that hungry. He walked away stealthily, swearing to himself to drown this memory under alcohol.

ooo

Sam was pulled from his pre-dinner nap by footsteps approaching his room. He sat up, on the lookout. His brother kicked open the door.

- Hey Sammy! Wake up!

The younger boy let out a distressed groan. He really wasn't in the mood for tricks. Why couldn't his brother and his angel leave him alone... If only to digest his recent discovery! His unease returned just thinking about it.

- Sammy? Are you alright?

Not wanting to arouse suspicion, he gave him a small smile and reluctantly followed suit.

Thank goodness the new Miracle wasn't taking place in the kitchen (Sam would never be able to see it the same way again) but rather at one of the library tables. Cas, who had donned his toga, greeted him with a sympathetic smile. Sam hoped it was an apology for disturbing him again, not the other...event.

This time Cas had a jug of water and a white dish towel in front of him. Sam felt the bullshit coming from miles away, he held back a smile and sat down in front of the angel. Dean, as the last time, presented the trick with emphasis:

- Sammy, I present to you the second Great Miracle! Watch closely!

Cas covered the carafe with the tea towel with a deadly serious look that only made Sam smile wider.

- Careful...

The angel pulled back the tea towel with a sharp blow, revealing a carafe filled with beer.

- Admire, Sammy, the transformation of water into beer!

Sam burst out laughing. Cas hesitated, then smiled shyly. Dean grabbed the carafe to drink several sips and put it down abruptly.

- And not bad, with that!

Dean offered a big smile filled with pride to Cas. The angel said to himself that if it made the two brothers so happy, he could allow himself to make some small miracles from time to time.

So, what do you think of these miracles ? :)
