So I came up with the idea of this story but was a bit hesitant about posting it but then I was like, I'm just going to do it.
I thought about explaining a few things about this story before actually publishing it.
In the story, Aragorn son of Arathorn, is taken in by Lord Elrond of Imladris where Elrond adopts Aragorn and names him Estel, meaning hope in Elvish.
Elrond adopts Aragorn when he was 6 monthes old, after his parents were murdered by orcs.
In the movies, Aragorn is a Dùnedain and thus ages more slowly than normal human beings, but not by much like the elves. But in this story, I considered that the Dùnedain age as slowly as the elves.
Legolas and Estel (Aragorn) were born on the same day of the same year, and since I considered that the Dùnedain age as slowly as the elves, they are of the same age and remain so every year, they're twin brothers in everything but blood.
Elrond and Thranduil are brothers in everything but blood, and so Legolas and Estel grew up together after Elrond adopts Estel.
Legolas, Estel, Elladan and Elrohir consider both Thranduil and Elrond to be gheir fathers and both Thranduil and Elrond consider that they have 4 sons. This is because the relationships between the youngsters and the two adults are father/son(s) relationships. Legolas and Estel are Legolas Thranduilion Elrondion and Estel Thranduilion Elrondion while Elladan and Elrohir are Elladan Elrondion Thranduilion and Elrohir Elrondion Thranduilion.
Basically the same last name just reversed.
Elladan and Elrohir consider Legolas a brother to them, and a twin to Estel.
Further details will be explained throughout the story.
Basically, it will be a couple of snapshots of the adventures of Legolas and Estel as children and I might add chapters of them as adults later on. Elrond, Thranduil, the twins, Glorfindel, Galadriel, Celeborn, and Erestor will definitely make an appearance.
