The day was here.

UA was now open for students from many different schools to come in to attend the entrance exams. Everyone hustled and bustled their way through the gate onto UA's premises before entering the building itself.

Everyone was excited, anxious and overall filled with many conflicting emotions.

Everyone wanted to go to UA, and everyone wanted to be a hero.

In the midst of the crowd was a girl.

She was taller than average for her age, but not as tall as most guys. She had long dark brown hair, almost black that just past her shoulders. With (as her mum would say) beautiful brown eyes, accompanied with light chocolate brown skin.

Her appearance would be called average, normal. Especially for an Asian girl, minus her height. However, in this world, it is the exact opposite.

In a world full of Quirks that changed and expanded both the human being's colour scheme and body structure. She was an oddity. Like Alice in Wonderland.

The girl didn't mind though, she was proud of her looks and her power lets her change that if she needed to. But only when it's necessary.

The exam was close to starting and fewer students were walking into UA. Yet the girl remained standing on the side. Looking at the opened gate for something...someone.

Her face showed a look of concern. "He should be here by now. I'm sure they said that he was almost late." She began voicing her thoughts to no one but herself.

How can you be sure he'll appear?

Or was she?

"You saw the slime incident that was on the news 10 months ago. He'll be here." She whispered as students walked by.

As if on cue, a green-haired and eyed boy ran through the gate before slowing down to a simple walk.

"He is really here...!"She silently squealed in delight.

Better get in before you get caught.

The girl pouted. "Party pooper." Yet she did as the voice said.

You'll have plenty of time to see him, maybe lucky enough to be in the same class.

"True, doesn't stop me from being disappointed. I wanted to see his face when he falls over!" She whined before entering the exam room.

Tenya Iida was agitated, annoyed more like. He had a strange feeling that someone was staring at him. However, he must pay attention to Present Mic as he announces the exam rules.

There was one thing he couldn't stand however was the mumbling.

When given the opportunity, Iida gained Present Mic's attention and asked a question concerning the 4th machine. Before turning his attention upon the mumbling green-haired boy.

He then sat down soon after, feeling proud of himself. As he was about to leave he felt a tap on his shoulder.

Turning his head to his left, he sees a girl that looked like she was made of chocolate. Her brown eyes pierced into his with disappointment.

"May I help you?" He whispered, not wanting to be a disturbance to anyone else.

The girl's eyebrows furrowed. "That was a rude thing to do."

Iida was taken aback. Why was he being criticised for doing the right thing?

As though the girl read his mind she replied. "Though what you did may seem justified, it gave a bad impression upon yourself and the poor guy."

He raised his eyebrows. "What are you implying?"

"You've portrayed yourself as someone who would criticize someone for the tiniest of things, and will openly embarrass them for it. Though it's good to remind others of the rules, you should do so privately. Not in front of a large audience. From what I can tell that boy has anxiety issues, his mumbling could be from being isolated from others most of his life." Her expression became serious. "And you made him look like a fool, and you a clown."

Iida felt as though he been slapped. "How dare-!" Before he could shout, the girl covered his mouth with her hand.

"Be grateful that I decided to confront you privately, otherwise you would have had the same fate as that boy." She said before removing her hand.

Iida was silent, taking in what she said. She had a point, metaphorically. He should consider taking other people's feelings into account instead of just his own and his justice.

As though a flip was switched, the girl suddenly smiled brightly.

"Anyway, enough drama. Nice to meet you, my name is Mei Yo. I hope we become friends!" She cheered.

Before Iida could say anything, the girl looked around the hall before getting up from her seat. "Gotta dash! So should you, don't want to be late for the practical."

Iida blinked out of shock and looked around to see barely any students before frantically getting ready to leave.

Just as he was got his things, the girl was nowhere to be seen.

What a weird girl.

God that was so awkward.

The girl, Mei was now sitting in the transport bus to the exam zone with her face in her hands.

"32 plus years and I still suck at socialising," Mei mumbled.

I believe it's an INFP thing.

'Hey! I did Myers Briggs personality test one time and suddenly my whole life is defined by it!'

It's surprisingly accurate, you can't deny it.

The girl sighed in exhaustion.

'Are the others ready?'

They are ready on standby, just do what you normally do.

'It will be the first time doing it in front of others... do you think we're ready?'

I believe so. However, many will question why you chose a certain type. I think you are a bit biased.

The girl blushes. 'I-! I just think their cooler! And I don't feel comfortable as the others...'

Uh-huh, I'm sure it. The shrine in your bedroom says otherwise.

'Shut up! You are just jealous that you are not a part of it.'

Sharing each other's body and mind makes it difficult to hold any feelings for each other in the first place. And I'm just stating my concern for you.

Mei looked out of the bus to see they are about to reach their destination. With a sigh, she ended the conversation. 'It'll sort itself out, don't worry.'

The transportation bus slowed to a stop and everyone started to get out along with Mei. As she got off, she looked up to see the looming zone entrance that separates her and the others to the exam that will decide their fate.

She hopes her efforts won't be unseen.

"Another year, another exam. Meaning more problem children." A.S

"Cheer up Shota! Maybe you'll have students to teach this time!" H.Y

"I.e. more paperwork. *sigh, I need coffee." A.S

"Yamada, Aizawa, please pay attention. I feel as though we'll have a lively bunch this year." P.N

"Not to be disrespectful but I doubt it." A.S

"C'mon Shota! The exam hasn't even started yet! How about we look through the student folders for anyone interesting!" H.Y

"Ha... fine" A.S

"Let's see... Hey! This guy is the one I told you about from the announcement! Ingenium's bro!" H.Y

"Problem child. So is this guy, if it weren't for the potential dangers. I'd kick him out." A.S

"Hm? A firecracker huh. I hope his personality isn't as bad as his quirk." H.Y

"His face says otherwise." A.S

"Anyway, check this guy out! The kid just manifested his quirk!" H.Y

"Problem Child number one. I dread to think what the drawback is, especially concerning its description." A.S

"I believe you two should take a look at this folder." P.N

"What does it say Shota?" H.Y

"It says their from a foster home that houses quirkless kids." A.S

"Why is a quirkless taking part in the Hero exam?" H.Y

"The rule against quirkless participating was removed, and this doesn't mean their quirkless." A.S

"Are you saying they also manifested their quirk?" H.Y

"According to this, it manifested last year. So unlike the previous case, they should have experience with their quirk." A.S

"What quirk did they get?" H.Y

"They called it 'Switch'." A.S

"Switch?" H.Y

"Yes." A.S

"Care to explain?" H.Y

"'It's complicated'" A.S

"Huh?" H.Y

"They wrote down 'It's complicated'." A.S

"What kind of quirk do they have that they couldn't explain it?" H.Y

"No clue." A.S

"Present Mic, If you could start the exam." P.N

"Ah! Right! Sorry!" H.Y

"Just get it over with." A.S

"Ready Aether?" I asked aloud, not caring who heard me. Not like they would, everyone was too focused on getting ready for the exam to start.

Ready as I'll ever be.

"Good." I smiled in confidence.

I've been waiting for this moment.

Like I predicted, Present Mic announced the start of the exam and while everyone was still confused. I bolted passed into the exam zone.

I didn't use my ability immediately. I wanted to show my own personal worth before I exhibit the others' worth.

I saw a three-pointer ahead and started to head straight towards it.

I hope this works.

Just as I was about to reach the robot I unleashed my power.

"Aether!"

For a split second, I was surrounded by glitter like stars. And I disappeared.

Well, not exactly disappeared.

I was no longer my female chocolate self, I was now shorter, had blonde hair and golden eyes, white skin an exotic white, gold and black clothes. And male.

I was no longer Mei Yo, I was now Aether the Hero of Teyvat.

Materialising Aether's sword into my hand, I ran forward and jumped towards the three-pointer's head. Before slicing it off cleanly.

I did it.

"It worked!"

TO YOUR RIGHT!

Huh?!

Thanks to Aether's warning I was able to avoid an attack from a two-pointer. I soon realise that I was surrounded.

But I wasn't scared. Instead, this was a perfect opportunity.

"Thanks, Aether," I said as I dodged another attack before I called once again.

"Venti!"

On it!

Another split second later, I was someone else.

This time another boy but with dark blue hair with lagoon green tips. Wearing a bard like an outfit with a green and white colour scheme. Unlike Aether who wore some evidence of armour, Venti did not and I'm sure many who are watching are confused.

As soon as I became Venti, I sprinted passed the robots before turning right back towards them. Summoning Venti's bow and taking aim, I activated his burst.

"Ready for takeoff!" With those words, the world seems to distort around me as the wind whirled before I let go of the arrow.

The arrow infused with the power of the anemo God hit the two-pointer at the centre of the group. Causing all the surrounding pointers to get sucked into the theoretical black hole caused by the arrow. Flinging the robots about in the air and against each other.

Not wanting to waste this chance, I switched once again.

"Razor!"

Yes!

Gone was the bard, and here was Wolf Boi. Long silver hair, scars and bandages across his body, a hooded jacket and exotic survival clothes. He looked as though he was raised in the wild, and he looks adorable.

Immediately, I summoned his greatsword and unleashed his skill upon the robots. Causing an elemental reaction, converting Venti's burst from anemo to electro. Electrifying all the pointers, short-circuiting them.

I can't believe it's working.

"Alright!" I cheered in Razor's voice.

Turning away from the broken pointers, I started to run further into the makeshift city.

"Ready to hunt Razor?"

Always

And so, our calamity continued.

The observation room was quiet.

Until a certain loud guy broke the silence.

"What the hell?"

Barely five minutes in and there was already a promising student.

"What in the world is their quirk?" A random hero asked.

"'Switch' but it there is no description saying 'it's complicated'."

"I can now understand why."

"Did you see that arrow she, he? shot? It summoned something similar to my black hole quirk but it didn't suck anything other than the pointers."

"Does her quirk let her use more than one quirk? That shouldn't be possible!"

"The three boys she has been turning into seem to be similar but different at the same time. All three had a weapon, one ability and two moves. Miss Yo seem to combine their moves to increase its effect. Excellent teamwork and leadership in one person."

"Did you see that purple electric kid tho? 'Cause, for real! Is that a Jojo reference!?"

"Quit your jokes. What I find fascinating is how none of her attacks affected the other examinees. As though anything or anyone not recognised as a threat is immune to their attacks."

"The surrounding area also seems to be ineffective by her quirk. She'd be great in public fights, able to avoid property damage and safe for the civilians. That bow guy is also great for crowd control against villain gangs."

"I'm more curious about whether she can switch into more people. Speaking of, I wonder what she calls them."

In the midst of the discussion, a small unknown mysterious animal (UMA) gave an excited grin. That frankly, made everyone a bit unnerved.

"I for one wonder if they can switch into more than three." The creature said before turning towards the announcer. "If you will."

Understanding what it is suggesting, Present MIc pressed the red button. Releasing the zero-pointer.

I've been racking up villain points non-stop.

It helps that video game rules don't apply to me in this world compared to Teyvat. Not to mention the pointers are definitely weaker than the ruin guards. Which helps a lot.

While I'm getting Villain points, I've also been getting Rescue points whenever I can.

It may seem like I'm using others but honestly, I already have plenty of villain points to pass. But my time in Teyvat conditioned me to help anyone I can. Like an instinct, I can't ignore.

Currently as Razor, I help escort them to somewhere safe after getting injured. A destroyed three-pointer left behind us.

Mei! Danger!

Hearing Razor's warning, I suddenly became very aware of my surroundings. More specifically, the ground shaking.

The zero-pointer has been released.

Looming over us all was the zero-pointer. Taller than any of the mock city buildings, and it was staring right towards us.

Times like these I wished I had Keqing in my party.

Not wanting to waste any more time, I lifted the injured examinee onto my back and started to sprint and dash to the gate. Thanks to Razor's passive I was able to get there with stamina to spare.

Dropping the guy off with the others, I turned back towards the zero-pointer that was hunting for examinees.

I've been waiting for this moment.

I started to walk towards it, staring at it with excitement and some fear. Through this whole exam, I've only been using 3 members of my party. Saving a particular member for te zero-pointer.

I hope this works.

"Diluc" I said calmly before I'm overcome with the familiar sensation.

I was now taller, long blazing scarlet red hair in a low ponytail replaced Razor's long messy silver hair. Razor's rugged clothing was no more and I was now wearing a black coat that is adorned with golden trimmings and tassels, ending with ebony fur-trims and wears black pants which are embellished with chains on his thigh, while his Vision is settled upon his left thigh. Along with gloves which are black on the top while the undersides are dyed a shade of red.

I'm ready.

"Good." My voice was now Diluc's.

The Darknight Hero.

Enough chat, we got business to deal with.

I started to pick up the pace, as I got closer and closer to the zero-pointer.

Now running, I summon Diluc's greatsword into my hand just before I reached the zero pointer.

I ran towards it's leg and started to climb. Using Legend of Zelda strats to defeat this hunch of metal.

Finally reaching it's head, I unleashed Diluc's skill upon it. Dealing some major damage to it. Causing it to stumble. Taking this chance I jumped off the giant robot and descended to the ground below. Falling at high speed didn't bother me however, as before I hit the ground I took out the glider to slow my fall then dropped down.

As soon as I was on the ground, I immediately activated Diluc's burst.

With a large swing fueled with intense fire from his vision, I unleashed the Pheonix.

"BURN!"

The Pheonix made out of pure fire flew straight towards the zero pointer and straight through it. Melting it to its core.

In this world, video game logic doesn't apply. So essentially.

I'm OP.

Everyone started at the screen before them.

"I call hacks"

"Sh-He? Whatever! They summoned a fucking phoenix!"

"What a hunk 3"

"Since when did they have wings?"

"They have excellent climbing skills."

"She can become a adult? How will this affect the age restriction laws?"

"*sigh, is no one going to consider the fact that she is using outside help?"

"That... that is true. She could be switching with others outside of the exam. Wouldn't that be against the rules?"

"If this theory is true. However, why would these clearly capable people help her instead of taking the exam themselves? I've done a quick search and there is no report of anyone with a quirk matching each of them in the database."

"We will have to talk with her privately then to get the full picture."

"Gotta admit though, she did really well."

"And many other new upcoming students. Did you see that kid that punched a zero-pinter in the face?"

"That firecracker kid also got a lot of villain points, however there is much to be desired in terms of heroism."

"Seems I was correct with my assumption. Along with the different people miss Yo can change into."

Looking back at the camera directed towards said girl they were surprised to see that she was in fact. A girl, but not herself. Someone else entirely.

Withing the group of students gathered at the entrance, with the exam officially over many was sore and or injured. And the one who came to their aid was a white blonde girl who wore a priest nurse like dress.

And she was healing them.

It was one thing to be extremely strong, another to have multiple elemental abilities but having the ability to heal was really pushing it.

Is there a chance she could be connected to him?

A single thought popped in one of their heads and it started ti fester. Feeling dread and concern on what this girl could be hiding.

With the exams finally over after a long fought battle with the written exam. I ventured back to the Foster home.

I have a busy schedule for the next few nights as unexpectedly after a year or so in Teyvat. It was expanding with a new 'update'.

It was strange and bizarre to live a life in Teyvat but the world acting like the video game I used to game. I was stuck at 1.0, only having access to Mondstadt and Liyue with only a few available characters. As well as the gacha system still being a thing and interacting with the characters like their real people despite hosting their bodies after getting them from the gacha.

It is really meta and confusing that I don't even want to think about it.

Despite the lack of content, I had all the time in the world to do what I wanted in Teyvat. Grinding primogems, collecting, fighting and leveling. Being able to physically befriend the characters and maxing out their constellations, friendship level, weapons, talents, artifacts and their level.

Not gonna lie, I'm a gamer and I put a lot of time and effort to get where I'm at today.

Time difference helped a lot as well.

When the new update comes out, four new characters will be released. Meaning I need to prepare their ascension items and a whole lot of other shit.

It is going to be a blast!!

A/N

Hi, this is my fever dream.

Had this idea for quite while. I redid it a bit. But I can't be bothered to go over it a fourth time so I'm just gonna wing it.

I'll write when I want to write.

Just to give you a rundown. This is a self insert crossover with Genshin Impact and Boku No Hero Academia. It's an idea that I came up with when trying to figure out a crossover idea for Genshin Impact. This is the best I can think of.

I suck at writing. It is cringy but I'm creatively expressive. Depending on my mood the tone will sometimes change and I write with the first thing that comes to mind.

If you like the story idea feel free to use it. So I can then read your version instead of writing a cringy story.

I'll go now, I'm full of hyper energy that I need to shake off.
