Cracks of earth breaking apart echoed in the cavernous halls Of Hephaestus' Forge. The Telekhines chased after Our Heroes. For minutes, Percy and Annabeth Ran in the Maze-like domain of The Blacksmith God.

"We aren't losing them!" Percy panicked as he yelled while they ran from the wolf Headed creatures.

"I can see that, Seaweed-Brain!" Annabeth yelled In reply. A moment later she grabbed Percy's arm, pulling him towards her as an Axe flew past the lane he was previously running on.

They went further down the dimly lit halls of the underground forge. Several turns were taken as the two stumbled across a Black door.

"Over there." Percy, whispered. "Get Inside Quickly!" He rushed Annabeth to get inside.

The Room within the black door was filled with weapons. Hundreds of them. From swords, axes, Spears, All across the rooms shelves and racks.

"Do you think we lost them?" Percy turned to ask Annabeth. Who stared at the many weapons within the room.

"I think so?" She replied, she slowly walked forward to see the many weapons within the room. "What is this place?" She Turned to Percy, who simply didn't care enough about the room.

"How would I know? Besides, it doesn't matter what this place is, I need to get back there. If I take too long they'll finish making whatever weapon they're trying to make in there." Percy took a deep breath and sighed.

"Right..." Annabeth sighed as well, there was a short silence before she realised what he had just said, "Don't you mean We?"

"No, you heard me right. I'll go alone." Percy's back leaned against the door. "We need someone to report back to Hephaestus. One of us has to make it back." He said.

"I'm Not going, Seaweed-Brain." She crossed her arms. She gave a worried stare towards Percy. "I'm not about to just leave you here to die." Her eyes were starting to slowly fill with tears.

He got his back off the wall and hugged her. She returned the warm embrace while sobbing.

"You know I'll be fine, so ease up wise-girl, It's not like I'm gonna die, Right?" He flashed a smirk in an attempt to calm her down.

"Don't Jinx It Seaweed!" She Chuckled between sobs. She wiped her tears before kissing him on the lips, He was taken aback by the sudden action, before giving in and kissing her back. The two remained like that until the thunderous sound of the volcano interrupted them.

"We have to go now." Percy Stared into her grey eyes as the earth they stood on shook.

She nodded. She pulled away from Percy as she looked back onto the weapons. She took two Identical daggers from one of the shelves and tossed one to percy.

"Having a second blade always helps." She stated. "Stay safe..." She hugged him again.

"Thanks." He hugged back, Before they both withdrew and went out the door going separate ways.

As Percy Ran back to the main forge, he encountered 2 Telkhines.

One of the Telekhine ran towards him, Giant Hammer in hand, the dog faced creature slammed it towards Percy, Only for the boy to dodge. As the Hammer struck the ground it, the earth beneath shatters from the impact. The weight of the hammer trapped itself on the broken stone, as Percy wound up Riptide to perform a clean slash, cleaving the head of the Telekhine clean off.

The second Telekhine Screeched in rage for his fallen brother, With it's Glaive, The creature attempted to strike at percy's Sides.

Percy stepped aside, barely dodging the glaive, he was cut at the rib. He winced in pain, grabbing his sides before slashing at the enemy weapons shaft. The Wood splintered as the Telekhine took a step back. Percy dashed towards the creature, who attempted to block Percy's slash with the remaining shaft of his weapon. Only to be gutted by Riptide's sharp edge.

Taking a step back, percy held his wound for a moment, He shook away the pain before heading back towards the forge.

There he was greeted by many Telekhine. He was Outnumbered 5:1. His fate seemed grim, He clenched his weapons as 2 Hammer Wielding Telekhine ran towards him. One of them took a swing at Percy. Who managed to duck under the hammer.

Percy Sighed in relief before seeing the second Telekhine mid-air trying for an overhead swing. He managed to roll away in time.

He took another sigh of relief before seeing the first Telekhine winding up for another swing at his head.

"Oh come on!" He yelled before slipping backwards, causing the Telekhine to miss and smash their hammer into their brother's face. Killing them.

Several of the Telekhine's flinched at the sight of one of their brothers' deaths. Percy took this opportunity to slash the back of the nearest Telekhine's legs as it mourned for his brother's death. The creature dropped down on its Knees as Percy finished it off.

The Remaining 3 Telekhines charged Towards Percy in rage, Swords and Daggers in hand. They Ran towards Him in a V shaped formation. The two upfront slashing simultaneously as percy blocked with both of his weapons. As he was trapped in a sword lock with the two, the third Ran to him and with a furious kick, Percy was sent flying towards a wall.

As his body gave a thud, He coughed in the pain as the three slowly walked towards him with vicious grins on their wolf like heads.

Percy Felt that this was it. This was the End. The Pain Surged through his stomach and the front of his ribs. Amongst the pain, He stood

He couldn't let it end like this.

And with the last of his strength, His Body Strained, but he needed to do this. He needed to destroy all traces of the weapon, and the only place it could be made. With those thoughts flowing inside his mind, He gathered the water from the air and deep beneath the soil, the sweat on his clothes and the clouds above. A massive orb of water stood amongst the clouds.

The Water poured down. As Lava and Water met. Steam Emerged, the hot vapors from the water rapidly made way towards him. He closed his eyes in acceptance. As Fire emerged all around him. He was sent flying out of the volcano's crater.

As Annabeth Flown away on blackjack. She witnessed the Explosion on Mt St. Helens.

"Percy!" She screamed gripping onto Black jack while reaching towards the mountain. Her hands shook as he closed her eyes and embraced Blackjack who shook his head.

Grover Looked from afar next to tyson. He watched the sphere of water crash into the volcano's crater. As The mountain blew, He knew. His expression showed it. No demi-god would have survived that. Not even a Son of The Big Three.

"Oh no..." The Satyr was at a loss for words. Tyson Narrowed his Eyes towards grover.

"What do you mean oh no?" The Cyclops asked.

"Nothing… Tyson. Let's go." Grover got on his pegasus and prompted Tyson to get on his. "It's gonna be a long ride."
Grover Sighed, as they flew their way back to Camp Halfblood.

The calm ocean waves gently crash onto the shore. The Chirping of the Crickets and birds filled the morning with life. Until a Cushioned crash that could be heard along the beach happened.

A sleeping beauty was awoken. She flinched at the noise, wondering what it could be as she sat up from her bed, she gave a faint yawn before standing up.

A Light gleams onto the walls of the lush cave. The woman stepped out of the cave, Her caramel hair seemed blonde in the morning sun. She seemed about 16-18 years of age, It was hard to tell since she had one of those timeless faces. Her Eyes were as beautiful as the moon, they seemingly glowed in the darker areas of the cave. she gently rubbed her eyes as she left the cave and headed towards the origin of sound which had disturbed her slumber.

A small crater could be seen upon entering the shore. She rushed towards the crater in urgency. The body of the boy was gravely injured. She further inspected the injuries, before slinging one of his arms over her shoulder.

"Another Hero..." She sighed, once again someone was brought here just to leave. She brought the boy into the cave. Tending to his wounds, Several burns, cuts and
bruises were all over his body. "Out of the 20 heroes that have been brought here, I think his injuries might be the worst." She thought.

The boy flinched every once in a while. Every few minutes or so he'd wince in pain. Other times he'd mumble a few names.

Grover, Tyson and Annabeth. One name more often in particular.

She soaked a cloth in cold water and placed it on his head. She'd use her voice to sing him a few healing songs at night. It went on like this for the next three days.

The woman knew this Hero couldn't stay, She sighed once more, It was inevitable that he would leave. Despite that, she smiled bitterly at the wounded Hero. "At least I'll have some company for a while, Right?"

Thunderous clouds filled camp half-bloods sky.

Annabeth, Grover and Tyson had returned. Cheers filled the air until they noticed a certain son of Poseidon missing.

The sound of hooves clapped on the ground as Chiron appeared to greet his Campers. He arrived with a happy smile, a proud and hearty Laugh, one that ultimately faded away within seconds.

"Where is Young Perseus?" He turned towards the three. Annabeth was nearly in tears. Grover a cold yet solemn look. Tyson on the other hand didn't know what was going on as He gave a confused smile.

"I think it would be best if we discussed this inside the big house." Grover suggested. Chiron nodded as they all made their way towards the Big House. As they Entered Chiron's office, Tyson spoke.

"Sooo," The Cyclops started. "Where is my Brother?"

Annabeth glanced at Chiron, All he needed to see was the look in her eyes. He knew that Percy was gone. A few moments of silence passed, Tyson looking evermore confused.

"H-He won't be back for awhile… Tyson." Annabeth smiled weakly at the cyclops.

"Y-yeah… Not for a while..." Grover tried his best to smile.

Chiron and the other campers were silent. Some gave the confused cyclops pitiful glances.

"When is he Coming back?" Tyson asked.

"I don't know... Mayb-," She took a deep breath. "Maybe Never..."

"Nahh" The Cyclops laughed dismissively, "My brother will be back."

Chiron approached the cyclops slowly, "Maybe it's best if you go to your cabin, I'm sure you can wait for your brother there." He patted Tyson on the head.

"Ok then," The cyclops smiled as he made his way towards the Poseidon Cabin.

As Tyson left the room Chiron walked towards the window, he opened the curtains to see who was listening in from outside.

"All of you, Dismissed! get back inside your cabins!" Centaur commanded, The eavesdroppers scurried off to their cabins. turning his attention back to Annabeth and Grover, He spoke.

"What Happened?"

Light Gleamed onto the lush cave once more, Percy awoke to the smell of flowers and grass. He didn't know where he was. As he got up from the bed, he bumped into the bucket at his bedside, making a ringing sound as it hit the ground. The woman ran into the room. She arrived at the sight of the hero, She approached cautiously before placing a hand on his forehead.

"Your temperature seems fine, But I suggest you rest a while longer, brave-one." She gently grabbed Percy's shoulder, lowering it and calming him down.

"Wh- Who are you? Where am I?" Percy Flinched, He tried to get up from the bed but the woman gestured him to sit down.

"Ease brave one, you're safe. You fell from the sky and onto my island." She explained.

"Is your Island anywhere near camp halfblood?" Percy asked, A few moments later a jolt of pain spiked onto his shoulder. The woman began singing. Her voice was Angelic, The soft tones alleviated the pain, it calmed him.

"Stay still for a bit, your wounds will open up again." She smiled at Percy, he blushed a bit before shaking his head. The sudden shaking jolted another pain throughout his shoulder.

"I told you to stay still." She sighed, Percy spoke before she could try to sing again.

"Water..." He clenched his shoulder tighter to numb the pain.

"Alright I'll get you some water, just stay still so you don't get hurt anymore, Okay?" She flashed him another smile.

"Yeah sure, thanks..." He looked away, afraid that she might see the red tint that crept onto his face.

The Woman rushed to the fountain to retrieve some water. She returned back to percy who looks like he's still in pain.

"Wait here, I'll get you a cup." she said, placing the bucket down, only for percy to stop her.

"It's fine," He flashed her an awkward smile, before dipping his arm into the water.

The Water crawled all over his body, slowly washing away the blood on his bandages, Percy's wounds closed as if there was never any injury to begin with. He stood up from the bed and stretched his muscles, although they were healed they're still quite sore.

"A Son of Poseidon?" She asked.

"Yeah, My name is Percy." He greeted her by offering a handshake.

"Calypso..." She Returned the Greeting. Her reply showed reluctance.

"Sounds familiar..." Percy said. An awkward pause occurred before She started speaking again.

"It's a common name?" She shrugged her shoulders.

"Not really, you're the only Calypso I've met so far."

"Would you like to walk around the island?"

"Yes please..." Percy Cringed, it was by far the most awkward interaction he's ever had.

The two walked out of the cave. The smell of fresh air hit him upon leaving. Beautiful trees, mossy stones and a small Garden filled with different flowers and fauna. The scenery was beautiful.

As they grew closer to the beach, the sun glowed brighter, Her Caramel hair seemed Golden blonde once again as she stared into the ocean. She was radiant as the sun, And dare He say more beautiful than the goddess of beauty herself.
Although he'd never say it out loud, as he was fearful of the goddess smiting him.

The wind flew towards the shore, a gentle seabreeze. Calypso always grew to love the smell of the sea, She yearned for the freedom the sea blew onto her island. The calmness entranced her as she stared.

Percy from the sidelines could see it, He could feel it, In her eyes and under that calm and solemn look, Lay a storm in a bottle ready to cry out and shatter it's holder.

As the shore grew quieter, Calypso snapped away from her trance and turned back to her guest.

"I'm so sorry! I forgot you were behind me..." She panicked.

"I- It's alright" He assured, "You were probably just tired… from taking care of me that is..."

"Ye-yeah… That's it." She turned away back to the sea, "Sorry about that, I haven't had anyone on the island for a few years now is all."

"No!" He yelled, causing her to jump a bit and turn around. "I mean- uh" He spluttered, "What I mean is, Don't apologize. You've been taking care of me on this island for a while now and I should be the one apologizing." He bowed his head. "Wait, How long have I been here?"

"Ohh, You scared me for a bit there," She chuckled and gave a sigh of relief, "As to how long you've been here… Around 3 days."

"3 days? Thank the Gods…" He sighed, " I Didn't trouble you much did I?"

"No, Not all!" she assured Percy, "Honestly I was expecting you to be out for weeks!" She exclaimed, trying to lighten the mood.

Percy wanted to ask whether he could leave or not, but he knew she wouldn't let him, judging from her caring demeanor, he assumed that she most likely wouldn't let him go until he was fully healed.

There was another awkward pause, Until the grumbling of Percy's stomach Interrupted.

"Right! I'm so sorry I forgot you haven't eaten in a while. I'll go get you some fruits from the garden." She yelled while scurrying off to the Garden.

"Wait! I'll Come with you!" Percy Chased after her.

Tyson was sitting down in The Poseidon cabin. It's been 9 days and Percy still hasn't returned. The Cyclops missed his brother. Everyday and Night He'd wait by the door for him, Grover would bring Him some food and snacks, Even sit with him for awhile.

Annabeth was taking the worst of it all. She locked herself in her cabin, only her brothers and sisters could enter. She wouldn't talk, she almost never ate, Her sisters would have to force her to even eat.

Chiron tried his best to keep the camp's spirits high. Not exactly easy since one of the strongest Demi-gods was killed.

The Demigod who Saved Olympus. A child of The Big Three. Gone, reduced to ash by a volcano.

Chiron stood in his office, reading the letters sent by the campers parents. He shuffled through them, sorting them out by cabin until coming across a letter from Sally Jackson. He took a deep breath and clenched his fists.

It was always a terrible Week when campers die. He'd have to write letters of apology. It was painful, but as painful as it was, the hero's He trained mostly died or ran away. Very few survived peaceful lives after years of heroism.

He felt as if he robbed those children of their future. A calm and peaceful life they could've lived. Yet he trained them to fight monsters and kill. Sure it was for their own protection, but if that were the case, why would he have sent them on life ending quests. Why would he have sent them on missions that determined the fate of the world?

He was Lost. He doesn't know whether what he was doing is right anymore.

He grabbed a sheet of paper and placed it inside of his typewriter.. He didn't need to write a letter in over a year. He took a deep breath as he placed his fingers on top of the machine. Only to be interrupted by Dionysus barging into his office.

"What is it now Dionysus!" Chiron pulled the hair on his head in frustration.

"My Ears! We've got company, you lousy old horse." He Gripped his ears in pain, only to laugh afterwards.

"Kronos?" Chiron raised his sword in preparation.

"I wouldn't be laughing now if it were, would I?" He gestured to the Door. "Come on now, don't keep the ladies waiting!"

Chiron followed him out of the big house. They were greeted by the sight of Artemis and her Huntresses.

"Uncle, Father has sent me and my huntresses to aid in the defense of camp half blood." Artemis gave a courteous bow towards her Centaurian uncle.

"Does Kronos' Army approach?" He questioned the Goddess of the Hunt.

"Yes, they approach with an army of monsters, and over 40 Demigods."

"I see..." Chiron took a heavy breath and puffed out his chest. He approached the crowd who were watching the Huntresses' greeting.

"Ready the others! Ring the bells! Prepare to battle, all of you!"

The Campers who heard chirons message ran off to each cabin, warning their brothers and sisters for all out war.

Percy bit the fruit given to him by Calypso as they strolled around her garden. It was beautiful, Vines wrapping around trees and flowers sprouting from the vines, Small patches of roses, Cecilias and lilies. Though, the center of the garden is where the true beauty of her island layed.

Besides her of course.

It was similar to that of a Lotus or a pink spotted lily, only with less petals and bluish purple. Whenever clouds passed the island it would glow in the shade. Moonlace. As it's namesake suggests, It's a flower that seems as if it were laced by the moon's beauty itself. It Certainly glowed like it.

Percy couldn't help but stare. Every time the clouds flew past and gave shade, he'd turn his attention back to the glowing flower petals. It was captivating, unlike anything he's seen. Almost otherworldly.

"Do you like it?" Calypso Asked from behind.

"Huh?" Percy jumped a bit. Turning his attention to Calypso he asked, "What do you mean?"

"The flower over there." She pointed towards the glowing flower Percy was staring at.

"Oh umm, yeah It's really pretty… Never seen anything like it before." He returned to staring at the flower.

"They're native to My Island. Moonlace is what they're called." She flashed a smile. It's been a very long time since she had someone to speak to about her garden. She knew the few Heroes she spoke with didn't care much about her garden, but she enjoyed every second of it. You could say the garden was her life. Her only companion. The one thing that will always be there for her.

"Oh" Percy was still admiring the beauty of it. "We don't have many gardens in New york. A few people have greenhouses here and there, but nothing like this unless you count central park."

"New York? Is that the City you come from?" Calypso asked. She hadn't spoken to any mortals in well over a hundred years. So she's a bit behind on times.

"Yeah, big city…" Percy smiled remembering his home. Then he smirked, "Slightly smaller than the entirety of greece!"

Calypso's eyes widened, "A City that rivals the size of an entire country? How is that even possible!" she grabbed onto Percy's

Percy only chuckled, "It's true, New York is 8% smaller than greece. If we're talking about the state that is" Percy Spoke proudly of his home, "Sure, like any city it has ups and downs but it's home."

"What do you mean by state?" She grew more curious about the outside world.

"Ah well, a state is basically a division of a country, they can have multiple cities within them like a country does. Where I'm from there's the New york state and then New York city"

"It sounds complicated…" She stopped to think about a few more questions to ask. "You mentioned that the city has no room for many gardens. And what is 'Central park?' "

Percy's smile grew wider, It's been awhile since he's had any peace like this with all the fighting.

"Well you see..."

For hours Percy Continued to explain anything Calypso asked him about the outside world. Things like food, Clothing, buildings, movies, schools. Things that she'll never experience. It hurt hearing about all these amazing things, but she felt free, from the way Percy described it, she felt like she was actually there and not locked up on some island which can be anywhere and nowhere at the same time…

As Percy spoke, he noticed calypso's smile growing wider, yet sadder. Her tears were nearly showing. Until Percy stopped speaking.

"What's wrong?" She brushed away the small tears in her eyes, she wanted to hear more.

"It's getting late, why don't we get dinner?" Percy smiled, It's true, it was getting late. Percy was still recovering so he was pretty easy to tire out. He gave a yawn before rubbing his eyes.

"Oh no, I'm so sorry!" Calypso jumped from the log she sat from. "I completely forgot you were still recovering and well… I really wanted to hear more about the outside world…" Calypso pouted. It was absolutely adorable.

"It's fine," Percy smiled again and patted her head as he painfully stood up. "Need help with dinner?"

"Sure," Calypso smiled, this time it wasn't sad or forced. It was just bliss

Bells rang all around camp halfblood. Sons of Hephaestus sharpening the swords. Children of Ares gave their battle cries. The hunters of Artemis fletched their arrows while the sons of Hermes and Apollo ran around moving barricades, weapon-crates and supplies.

The sounds of horses, centaurs and satyrs echoed as they patrolled throughout the forests bordering their camp.

Kronos was coming, there was no denying it. The air was cold, moist. A storm was brewing, and Chiron was afraid that it may just be the last mortal-kind will ever see.

Chiron approached the Athena Cabin. Annabeth stood at the front porch, she held the sword she took from Hephaestus' Forge, and a Shield similar to the one Tyson gave Percy.

"Ms. Chase, I see you're ready for battle." Chiron gave a bittersweet smile towards Annabeth, he was glad that she finally left her Cabin, but now he's sending her off to battle once more.

"I am." She said, Her face showed solemnity. Her grey eyes were Ice cold, yet they had a fire in them that could rival the sun. "Where's grover?"

"I've had a small group of centaurs escort them and the younger campers away from the camp. They'll be staying in a secluded underground fortress nearby."

"Is Tyson with them?" Annabeth asked the Centaur.

"Yes, He's the key to keeping the mountain closed." Chiron assured, placing a hand on her shoulder before turning around and riding off to make sure no one was slacking off.

Annabeth took a step forward down the porch of her Cabin. It's the first time in weeks since she left.

"Seaweed brain, If you're not dead, I'm going to kill you once you come back..." She muttered, walking forward and down to the barracks to get her armor.

Percy laid still, he and Calypso had a minor argument on whether he or she should sleep on the bed.
Calypso insisted Percy to sleep on it, while the latter insisted Calypso to sleep on the bed.

Both of them eventually agreed to sleep on the bed together, and put some pillows in between as a divider.

He was tired but he couldn't sleep. Every time He'd close his eyes, He'd see his friends.

Fighting

The thought of it horrified him. He was here on an island relaxing and having fun while they were all potentially out fighting a war against impossible odds. He'd toss and turn from guilt and anxiety, until calypso noticed.

"Are you alright, Hero?" She turned from her side of the bed facing him.

"Yeah kinda..." He wasn't his usual self. Calypso knows that look, She knows it well. It's one people have when they long for something. She was all too familiar.

"You miss your friends don't you, Hero?" Her voice was soft, peaceful, so understanding…

"Yeah… They could all be out fighting while I'm stuck here injured and relaxing." He replied in a distant tone. Calypso's face turned grim.

"You can le-" she was interrupted.

"Tell me Calypso, why are you on this Island?" He didn't wanna think about it anymore, he asked the question as a form of distraction.

"The gods trapped me on this island… It is my punishment for siding with the Titans during the last Great War. So I am forced to live my immortal life here, In Ogygia." Her tone grew distant as well.

"Wait, Ogygia?" Percy sat up from the bed. "Like Odysseus Ogygia?"

"Wait?" She paused before sitting up from bed as well. "How do you know of Odysseus?" He saw her eyes were sparkling like never before. "I- Is he still ali-"

"No..." Percy interrupted.

"Oh, I see..." Her eyes grew sadder once more, she looked down to her legs. Another silence, until Percy placed his hand on her shoulder causing her to look up again.

"He wrote about you," He smiled. "I knew I heard your name somewhere before. Just didn't know where." he started. "I remember now, The Island of Ogygia, Where the beautiful Titaness Calypso lived. He tried finding you again… He built several machines to do so but… He died of old age before ever accomplishing it."

"Thank you..." Calypso bursts into tears, She was glad to know she wasn't forgotten. She jumped into percy's arms. Clinging onto him, He patted her back as sobbs dripped down her face.

"Do you want to talk about it?" He asks her gently.

"Yes..."

For hours they talked about the things she and Odysseus would do, or how some of the things written down were misleading. She was smiling, her eyes were as starry as the night sky, They glowed in the dimly lit room. She was laughing, and crying tears of joy speaking of her adventures around the island.

Both of them were laughing at the story of how Odysseus was attacked by a swarm of crabs and how he found a solution by cooking himself in boiling water. It certainly hurt but since he was immortal at the time it really didn't matter as they got their dinner.

"So What happened to the Invisible servants?" Percy asked, He shouldn't have. The moment those words left his mouth.

"They died, along with the twins..."

"I'm so sorry! I shouldn't have asked..." The color drained from Percy's face.

"It's fine… Besides, I want them to be remembered!" She tried her best to smile once again.

"You don't have to talk about it..." Percy assured her, but she shrugged it off.

"No, I don't…" She looked Percy straight in the eyes. "But I want to." She was determined. She wanted her story known. Even if it hurts. She wanted for someone to know.
