Charlie Weasley was currently making his way through Glen Shee with Bogdan and the rest of the dragon handlers. Even with the rough terrain they had to manoeuvre and navigate, the hardest part of the journey by far was convincing his friends to follow him based on a dream he'd had.

Still, once he had convinced them it was a simple affair to make it to Scotland and begin tracking the dragons, a task made easier by the location of a burned down village, a sign designating the land to be the "Spittal of Glenshee" was the only thing standing. Not too far from the burned out shell of a village was a mountain top that just screamed dragons lair.

"It would be really helpful to have Potter with us right about now." Pietro, one of the younger handlers, commented under his breath.

"We don't need Harry here, we are all well trained dragons handlers, I'm sure we can handle this." Charlie dismissed the shorter lad, who just looked at the floor.

"Come on, we don't have all the time in the world." Bogdan remarked gruffly.

Dear Harry

We have managed to locate the dragons, though they have been impossible to approach without getting attacked. I would like to talk with you about this at a later date, perhaps you can help us.

I've been debating with whether or not to write this down and have come to the conclusion that I should at least mention it. Three days ago, as of the writing of this letter, I was asleep at the sanctuary when you appeared in my dream to tell me about the dragons. If you had anything to do with locating them then I thank you, though you may be reading this and have no idea what I'm on about.

We will be here for the remainder of April but it is unknown how this will go.

Provided I don't die, I shall see you in the summer.

Charlie Weasley

The last day of April marked the sixth day in a row in which the Daily Prophet was reporting different attacks on British soil, with large numbers of casualties and fatalities marring any good emotions that would have been felt by the students.

If that wasn't bad enough then May would bring with it a headline that nobody expected to see.

The Minister for Magic Cornelius Fudge has been killed.

In another reprehensible display from the vile tyrant Voldemort the Ministry for Magic was broken into and many aurors were hurt, though none were killed.

Unfortunately there was at least one death that happened yesterday, the death of our beloved Minister Cornelius Oswald Fudge only three days before his forty-eighth birthday.

Details about this disastrous event are yet to be released but we promise to keep you all up to date when we know.

We here at the Daily Prophet wish the Minister's family our best and hope they are able to remain strong in such a dark time.

It was all getting too much. How could he sit at the school and act as if he was a child still? Harry had hoped for another year at least until he had to fight this war, though he had also wished to never have to fight at all.

Not one to let his hopelessness overtake him, Harry elected to focus his stress on improving his students' grasp on their ability to control the elements, as well as choosing successors to run the club after he had left. He knew Elias would want to help him in the war, although he planned to convince him to attend Hogwarts to continue his education and help them by using the Hogwarts Library to research things they needed help with.

He just needed Derek to help him convince Elias and he was sure that his brother's best friend would help him.

"I'm going with you, that is final. I don't care what could happen to me, I'm much more worried about what could happen to you Harry." Elias shouted in the Vipers' Arena after being asked to remain behind.

"That just further cements my decision. If you don't care what happens to you then you'll be reckless and risk your own life unnecessarily. I would die a hundred times over not to have to lose a person I love again, and yet I still care about what happens to me."

"I am your younger brother." Elias responded indignant. "I will not be left out of this Harry."

"Elias, please." Derek spoke softly. "Stay at Hogwarts with me, I need you."

"I'm sorry Derek, I have to go with Harry to fight this war."

"What happened to forever? I need you more than you need me." Derek seemed like he was going to cry as he stepped towards Elias.

"Come on Derek, you know how important this is." Elias was wringing his hands at this point, looking to Harry for support.

"Fine, go away and die in this war. I guess you desire death more than you love me." Derek spat back at him, shocking Harry as he didn't know his Brother was that close to Derek.

"You know I didn't mean it like that, don't put words in my mouth." Elias said quietly, fearing Derek now hated him.

"Stay. Please." Derek whispered, taking Elias' hand and looking him in the eye.

"Fine. I'll stay, but only because I want to actually take my exams and have a greater chance of finding meaningful employment."

"Shut up, you know it's really because you can't stand to be away from me for that long." Derek laughed and Harry felt like he was in the middle of a very private moment and decided to put on his cloak and just leave the two to talk, he would have a chat with Elias later on.

For now he would continue his research into the Arch of Death and Xenophilius' words, most wouldn't place any stock into what the Lovegoods said but Harry had seen just how well-informed Luna was and so decided to look deeper.

He decided he would have the Vipers with him during the Summer when he went to investigate the Arch in person, they would self-police the group and prevent anyone from getting any funny ideas.

For now though he would be forced to search yet another reference book for any mention of the mysterious Ministry secret.
