It was often stated that it is impossible to be bored at Hogwarts however Luna disagreed. In her mind it was much better to be bored and allow your brain to come up with its own entertainment than to do something for the sake of avoiding boredom.

She was currently sat near the Great Hall in an unnoticeable room that contained the O.W.L examinations she would be starting soon, with every one of them wanting to be written on and offering Luna the answers if she would only pick them up and write on them. She refused to do so and eventually left to speak with her head of House to see about taking her exams on her own so as to not be overwhelmed by the sounds of overlapping conversations and the scratching of quills.

Once Luna had reached the third floor, she suddenly became aware of the most dreadful wailing sound emanating from further down the corridor, not wanting to leave someone to their misery, Luna made her way towards the desperate whining.

"Peeves? You're not looking too good."

"Are you a friend of Filch?" The Poltergeist asked, his voice trembling with grief.

"I can't say that I am, sorry, though I can try to help you."

"It's no use, nobody will chase me like Filchey."

"I have a stack of posters on me that I was going to put up, perhaps you could steal them from me and I would be forced to give chase."

"You would do that for ole' Peeves?" He asked slowly, at which point Luma had already taken the pile out of her bag and nodded at him. "You'll never get these posters back, no silly Wizard could stand a chance against Peeves the mischievous!" Peeved giggled and flew away, constantly looking over his shoulder to make sure that Luna was still chasing him.

Two hours later, when Luna had finally recovered the posters, Peeves no longer looked to be fading from existence and was smiling from ear to ear.

Former squib caretaker of Hogwarts gains magic and reputation.

If you were a Hogwarts student in the last four decades or so then you would be familiar with the crotchety old caretaker Argus Filch, and if you were a fun loving student then you would have had at least one run in with the infamous grouch.

Well what if I was to tell you that he is not a Squib and, what's more, he is now a celebrity in America. I kid you not, he has sold the rights to his story in a book titled "From Squib to Sorcerer" in which he personally thanks Harry Potter for saving his life and inadvertently awakening the magic within himself.

We have been prevented from reaching out to the young Lord for comment, however we will say this, if he somehow has the power to bestow magic upon Squibs then perhaps he will be able to help the children of Pureblood and Half-blood families to unlock their magic and the future population at Hogwarts will increase.

The future is indeed an interesting one.

Dear Harry

I assume that you have read the Daily Prophet by now and have seen what I have made of myself. I didn't wish to talk to that gossip rag and so I can only imagine how they portrayed me.

I still have that chair that you made for me, even with my own magic it is nicer to keep the things I had when I had nothing else.

If I am being honest with myself I don't think my fame has anything to do with skill, I think it is nothing more than the novelty of a British Squib becoming a wizard and so I am planning accordingly. I have a second book in the works and then I intend to live a private life somewhere in the world.

I am sorry, however, that I have no spells to give you, the property rights to any spells I have created are owned by the MaCUSA however I can offer you one thing, sanctuary if you ever need it.

Enclosed is a small item that I have created for Peeves, it will generate an image of me chasing him whenever he needs me to, as well as a few other activities that he and I would often engage in.

I hope this letter finds you well

Argus Filch

Inside the envelope was a small broach with Mrs Norris' face on it, which Harry took out and decided he would give it to Peeves straight away. Luckily for Harry, the Poltergeist was quite easy to find as he tended to float nearby large congregations of students.

"Hey Peeves, how are you doing?"

"Not good." He answered weakly, looking more transparent than a ghost.

"Take this." Harry responded, handing over the broach to the confused spectre, who immediately perked up as Filch appeared in front of him, screaming about his broach and how Peeves won't get away from him.

Peeves giggled and hugged the caretaker that only he could interact with.

"Thank you Potter. You brought the Filch back." Peeves then flew off, presumably with Filch in pursuit.

Harry watched as a fully solid Peeves circled and stopped to allow "Filch" to catch up, the sight put a smile on his face, as well as the face of Luna Lovegood who watched from above.

In that moment Harry could pretend that he wasn't on the precipice of a war, for even a short time he could believe that things were the same as they were many years ago. He stood with his hand on a railing just looking around the grand staircases and taking the sight in.

A hand on his shoulder from Dudley brought him back to the moment, though his brother was just admiring Hogwarts as well. They stood there in silence as their friends came to stand with them, Luna had even made it down to them in that time to stand with them.

The Vipers were united.
