The Savior

Author's Note: This is something that I had written a long time ago, just wanted to share it.

Chapter 1: The Mysterious Shinobi

Jiraya of the Sanin, one of the strongest ninja of the leaf and the Sage of mount Myoboku, was currently standing in an old bar in the city of Yokohama in the land of Earth. He was waiting for his contact, who was a spy in Iwagakure no sato (Village hidden in the stone). He was told that the spy had some information on Orochimaru's new hidden base in the land of Earth. Needless to say the letter had intrigued the Sanin and he agreed to meet the spy while he was on a mission outside of Iwagakure. They had agreed upon the city of Yokohama, the was about 50 km away from Iwagakure, far enough to meet him without the fear of being discovered. He was waiting in a dark corner of the bar to avoid suspicion. The contact had promised to come henged as a female trader dressed in red.

He was waiting patiently when he was approached by a woman, however she was not dressed in red but white. She came to him and gave him a piece of paper and left without uttering a word. He looked at the piece of paper.

'Meet me 5km north of the city.'

Reading the message, Jiraya grew cautious. It was not written in the usual code and lacked any name of the writer but it was his only clue so he decided to investigate. Of course he wasn't a naive genin to rush in without a plan.

North of Yokohama

Jiraya walked for about half an hour before he saw a figure in the distance standing calmly holding a bag. As the figure became clearer, he noticed it was a man. He stood around 6 feet tall and hair as white as snow that grew in a spiky wild manner on his head, his skin was pale which told Jiraya that he was not a native. Jiraya came to halt 5 meters away from the man and stood silently. He was wore a black jonin vest and black anbu pants and a white overcoat with black outline that reached his feet. His clothes were quite similar to Minato except for the color difference and the fact that he also had bandages around his eyes preventing him from seeing and also keeping his hair away from his face. He also had a Iwagakure headband strapped on his right forearm.

As he stood there, Jiraya was pondering on his apparent lack of vision, only one name came to his mind, Mōjin no Iwa (The blind man of the Stone). He was a fearsome ninja that had only recently earned fame due to his skill but not much was known about him due to him killing all his opponents without mercy. He was currently ranked in the bingo book as high A rank ninja with a bounty of 20 million ryo by the Mizukage, dead or alive.

"You must be Mōjin no Iwa, so I guess that means Arashi is dead?" Jiraya asked.

"You guess correctly, Jiraya of the Sanin" he spoke with an emotionless face and tossed the bag to Jiraya. Inside was the severed head of Arashi, Jiraya's spy. "He would no longer be reporting anything to you anymore."

"Well that is a shame. So I shall get going then, no use wasting any more time." Jiraya said with a bored expression as he turned to leave.

"I am afraid I can't allow you to leave. I have been ordered by Tsuchikage-sama to bring you before him alive." replied the man without betraying any emotion. "If you would come willingly than so be it otherwise I will be forced to take drastic measures."

"Kid you must be demented to think you could force me to do anything. You are a hundred years to young to go up against a Sanin and even hope to win" Jiraya said as a smirk graced his features. "Beside I don't even need to fight you. I will be gone before you even know it but if against all logic you somehow managed to defeat me, it wouldn't matter in the end."

"Are you referring to the fact of you being a shadow clone, perhaps" the stone ninja said, wiping the smirk of Jiraya's face. "I admit it's a nifty jutsu, more so due to it's ability to send back information to its creator upon its destruction." Jiraya's eyes widened.

"I already knew your were a clone long before you even arrived here. You see, while my eyes are not as 'sharp' as others" he said with a smirk for the first time, most likely referring to his blindness "I have a few other senses that can prove to be useful situations like this and before you dispel, know that I have already applied a seal to prevent you from sending any information back to your creator."

Jiraya looked at his feet to see an intricate seal on his ankle. 'How did he manage to put a seal on me without me even noticing.'

"So you are adept at Fuinjutsu too, it would seem" Jiraya observed "No matter, I guess I will have to show why it is unwise to engage a Sanin even if I'm just a shadow clone."

"I am afraid I don't have time to waste on a mere shadow clone" said the nin cloaked in white before the clone felt something sharp pierce his head from behind and he was no more.

A few kilometers from the border of the land of Earth.

The real Jiraya was jumping through the trees and rapidly approaching towards the border of the Earth. He was glad the he had decided to send a shadow clone in his place, he couldn't afford to cause a major international incident if he were caught in a trap but his shadow clone on the other hand will just dispel and send all the information to him. He had to admit, it was a really useful jutsu. He increased his speed to escape the border before any Iwa nin caught up to him.

Suddenly his senses flared and he jumped to the left before the tree, he would've landed on, exploded in a shower of splinters.

"I see you have caught up to me, Mōjin no Iwa. If you don't mind could you tell me your real name. It sounds weird to call you the blind man of the stone." Jiraya said to the nin standing opposite to him in the clearing.'How did he get past my clone without me getting any information.'

"Of course, after all it would be quite rude of me not to introduce myself, you may call me Naruto" said the mysterious man.

'Naruto, now that's an uncommon name.' Jiraya thought reminding him of his godson. 'I would have to check up on him after this, I hope Sarutobi-sensei is taking good care of him. He may have joined the academy by now.'

"Well now, let's not stand on ceremony and do this" said Naruto.

And just like that the two shinobi rapidly went through hand seals.

"Kuchiyose no Jutsu"(Summoning technique)

"Doton: Gōremu no jutsu" (Earth release: Golem Technique)

A huge puff of smoke erupted in the battlefield and when it dissipated, two colossal beings stood there.

On one side of the field was a massive magenta toad with black markings on his face. It was wearing a black kimono with a white sash and mesh Armour underneath. He had a sakazuki like shield in one hand and a sasumata in the other. Jiraya stood atop the toad.

"I am sorry to call upon you in such a time but I need you, Gamaken," said Jiraya.

"Although I am clumsy, I will try my best, Jiraya-sama." replied Gamaken.

While on the other side of the field stood an even larger behemoth. A huge dark brown stone golem that even towered above Gamaken by a few meters, stood proudly with a dark gray stone wakizashi in its right hand and atop it stood Naruto with his hands folded on his chest and his cloak fluttering in the wind.

Jiraya looked at the golem and thought 'I've never seen such a large Golem, he must be quite a master of earth release to make such a large golem so easily'

Then without any words the two beasts engaged each other in an all out battle and Naruto engaged Jiraya atop Gamaken. As they clashed, Jiraya realized that Naruto was quite skilled in taijutsu. His moves were quite fluid and unpredictable, it was proving difficult to keep up with him. Jiraya ducked down to dodge a spinning kick and shot up with a rasengan in his left hand aimed towards Naruto's abdomen. However before it could connect, Naruto quickly spun sideways to avoid the devastating jutsu.

"You're quite nimble but lets see for how long you can dodge my attacks" Jiraya said as doubled his efforts.

Meanwhile, Gamaken had crossed weapons with the golem. He thrust his sasumata towards its head that was easily avoided by the golem as he tilted his head to the side. It replied by slashing his sword towards the toad's chest but it was blocked by Gamaken's shield, and the two beings continued the fight.

Jiraya was once again in trouble as all his efforts were proving useless against the white-haired shinobi, he received only a few punches to the stomach and one to his face for his efforts. He was also stunned that the golem had managed to hold back Gamaken without its master controlling it but then he noticed a black seal on the golem's forehead which he deduced must have been a basic instinct seal, granting the golem some basic instincts and minor skills in fighting. However this was no ordinary seal, Naruto must be a skilled Fuinjutsu user to create such a seal and even more so to create such an advanced seal if the golem's skills were anything to go by. Jiraya disengaged his opponent and jumped away, if taijutsu wasn't working, he'll have to use ninjutsu.

"Gamaken, You can leave now. I will handle the rest." Jiraya called out as he went through his hand seals. Naruto quickly jumped off the toad.

"Doton: Yomi Numa" (Earth release: Swamp of the Underworld)

Gamaken hearing his summoner disappeared in a burst of smoke and moments later a large swamp appeared just underneath the stone golem and swallowed it whole.

"You seem quite proficient in Taijutsu. Now lets test you ninjutsu" Jiraya shouted out to Naruto as a shadow clone appeared beside him and they quickly went through some handseals.

"Katon: Gamayu Endan"(Fire Release: Toad Oil Flame Bullet)

They shouted as Jiraya spewed out a torrent of oil from his mouth and his clone spewed out a steam of fire, both combining to form a huge wall of fire rapidly headed towards Naruto. Seeing the wall of flame headed towards him, he quickly went through some seals.

"Suiton: Suiryūdan no jutsu"(Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet technique)

Just as Naruto uttered those words, in just a second, a massive amount of water vapors from the atmosphere condensed to form a huge dragon. So huge that its height surpassed that of the golem summoned before. The dragon rapidly flew and crashed into the fire jutsu and the jutsus collided into an explosion of steam.

Jiraya braced himself by channeling chakra to his feet as stood there utterly shocked by what had happened. His brain refused to reply and he stood there like a statue. The steam was then blown away by a powerful Wind jutsu that Jiraya assumed must have been Naruto.

'Such mastery of the Water. Only one person in history is said to have such mastery of water release and he was a monster in his own right, the Nidaime Hokage Tobirama Senju. And that Wind jutsu as well, this kid is no joke' Jiraya grimaced. "Most Impressive kid, I guess I can't go easy on you any longer. I will have have to use my trump card and show you why I'm called the Sage of Mount Myoboku."

"In that case, I guess I too will have to show my trump card as well." Naruto called out to him.

Jiraya closed his hands in a prayer style to summon the two great sage toads but suddenly the ground before him cracked and another Naruto burst from the ground with an open palm thrust towards his chest. He crossed his arms arms to block the palm strike but what he didn't expect was to a sharp white bone to break through the skin and pierce through his left hand into his chest, mere inches from his heart. 'Shikotsumyaku (Dead bone pulse), a Kaguya in Iwa.'

"Shikotsumyaku: Chakuraparusu" (Dead bone pulse: Chakra Pulse)

Jiraya tried to overcome his shock and move away but he couldn't as he felt a foreign chakra enter his system paralyzing him. He looked behind the second Naruto to see the first one dissolve into the earth. 'An Earth clone'.

"This is my trump card. My kekkei genkai used to inject a personalized stream of poisonous chakra into the target's system that paralyzes him and then renders him unconscious. You would fall unconscious any moment now" Naruto calmly stated to Jiraya. "Now go to sleep and let me complete my mission."

Jiraya felt his consciousness leave him. 'Naruto Kaguya, he is dangerous man.' were his last thoughts as everything went black

Naruto looked down at the Sanin as he placed him down gently.

'Don't worry, Ero-sennin I will make sure old man Onoki lets you go back to the leaf. After all you still have to train my younger self. I promise you will not end up like the Jiraya from my timeline did and I never go back on my word. I just hope we had met under better circumstances.' the Shinobi from future thought as he picked up the older man and headed towards the Village hidden in the Stone.
