Hello, this is my first fanfic. This is slight AU, but only really when it comes to timeline. In this, Zoom has been defeated, Laurel Lance is still alive, and Wally has already gained his powers. For now, I am not including H.R. or other Season 3 Flash characters, but that may change in the future. For Halo, it takes place between 4 and 5. As said above, this is my first fanfic, so feel free to review!

Disclaimer: I do not own Halo or anything involving the Arrowverse

John scanned the area. He and the rest of Blue Team had been deployed to take out an Insurrectionist HVT, and Chief was acting as Linda's spotter. He knew she was possibly the greatest sniper in the whole UNSC and probably didn't need one, but he wasn't taking any chances with this target. This former Navy captain, Alex Burke, had blown up 15 civilian passenger ships with stolen Archer missiles, killing thousands. Chief was not going to let him get away.

Suddenly, Chief saw Burke emerge from his faction's base of operation. 'Idiot thinks he can hide his headquarters from ONI' he thought. "Target sighted. 1000 meters, near the right exit," Chief informed Linda.

"I see him," Linda replied. Chief saw Linda adjust her aim with Nornfang, breathe, and pull the trigger. He saw the round hit him in the head perfectly, and the man fall to the ground.

"Good shot," Fred commented. "Let's get the hell out of here." Blue Team began falling back to the extraction point. Linda was using a suppressor, but it was only a matter of time until the Innies figured out what happened. The Spartans did not want to be there when they found out.

Back on Infinity, Lasky and Palmer greeted them. "As always, great job Blue Team," Lasky said.

"Just doing our job," Chief replied. This was his 80th mission since stopping the Didact on the Mantle's Approach and Cortana dying. He had done everything in his power to keep increasing that number to help him numb the pain. Blue Team knew this, so they had no qualms about the nonstop deployment. Besides, it was nothing compared to the Great War when they never had longer than a two-week break in 27 years. Still, Fred was gravely concerned about Chief's well-being. After Lasky and Palmer dismissed them after the debrief, Fred approached him.

"Hey Chief, I was wondering, do you think it would be good to spend a week back on Earth, just to take a rest?"

"Why do you say that?" he questioned.

"Come on, we've been on a nonstop deployment for months." Fred replied.

"What's your point?" Chief inquired, not sure why he was asking him to take a rest.

"Alright look, I understand why you keep volunteering for these missions, and I don't blame you. But everyone has their limit, and I'm worried you are going to reach yours if you don't slow down for a while."

Chief thought carefully about this and thought maybe Fred was right. "Ok, I will put in a request for Blue Team to take 1-week leave. However, Palmer did request us to do another mission, and I already volunteered for it." This made Fred sigh. Palmer knew Chief was wanting every mission he could do, so she had already lined up another one.

"Alright, one more mission before you can take a rest. Sounds good."

Blue Team was in a Pelican dispatched from a Prowler that was now cloaked. It couldn't survive long in a fight, so it was erring on the side of caution in case this was an ambush.

"Coming up on the frigate now," John announced from the pilot's seat. They were being tasked with discovering what happened to a Strident-class heavy frigate that went dark a week ago. The frigate looked intact, and the Pelican's sensors indicated the ship was still fully functional; however, it had not responded to a routine comm check with FLEETCOM.

"Weird. Sensors show no signs of life," Kelly commented from the copilot seat.

"This meets all the parameters of an old horror movie," Fred quipped.

"Don't you dare jinx us Fred," Kelly responded.

"Entering the hangar now," Chief said.

Once inside, Blue Team moved quickly but carefully toward the bridge, being wary in case the Flood was on board. It was unlikely, but possible, and would explain why the ship was still operational.

They reached the bridge, after finding many dead bodies but hardly any signs of a battle; just a few plasma burns and shell casings. Their armor did not detect any Flood spores, so that at least was a relief.

"Spartans! Thank God!" An AI greeted them as soon as they walked in, with an avatar of a young Asian woman.

"This ship has an AI. Well that makes this easier," Fred said in relief.

"Identify yourself" Chief commanded.

"I am Hannah, the AI for the frigate UNSC First Watch of Night."

"What happened to the crew?" Chief asked.

"Spec Ops Elites working for Jul 'Mdama happened," The AI stated.

"They used a cloaked boarding craft and sent them in while they jammed the ship's comms," Hannah began. "The Elites then enabled active camo, making it nearly impossible for me to track them. They killed most of the crew before they even knew they were under attack, and only a few could even shoot back. Once almost everyone was dead, they took a few prisoners and stole the data this ship had on the whole fleet's movement before I could delete it. Then they took off in their boarding craft. I would have fired on them, but they took the captain prisoner and I couldn't bring myself to kill him," she finished, distraught.

"That's very bad news; now 'Mdama knows exactly where to hit us," Fred stated.

"Before they left, they disabled this ship's comm array, so I couldn't call for he—" she froze and looked at the Spartans, terrified.

"What's wrong?" Chief inquired.

"Slipspace ruptures detected, 20 of them. They must have kept this ship alive to ambush whoever went to investigate," Hannah replied. As she said, 20 ships materialized from portals: most of them being cruisers, but a couple of capital ships as well.

"Shit, they're readying energy projectors!" Fred observed.

Everyone watched as the two assault carriers used their projectors and fired directly at the ONI Prowler.

"They just shot down the Prowler, how did they know it was there?!" Kelly asked/yelled.

"The Slipspace drive is still active, right?" John asked as a plasma torpedo shook the ship.

"Yes, but it was just damaged from that hit," Hannah informed.

"We have to risk it; we'll die unless we move. Get us out of here!" Chief commanded.

"Hold on to something!" Hannah warned, and the engines went to 120% power as a slipspace portal opened in front of them. A second later, the portal closed, and they made good their escape.

"Ok, that was too close," Linda said.

Warnings started blaring an instant later. "Our slipspace drive is failing, we need to exit slipspace now," Hannah informed.

They exited and saw Earth. "How did we get all the way to Earth? It should have taken at least five days even with the improved slipspace drives on the new ships," Chief asked.

"Wait, where are all of the Orbital MAC platforms? Where are all the ships? And why isn't anyone hailing us?" Fred inquired.

"Well, I have an explanation, but you're not going to like it," Hannah replied.

"Spit it out," Chief said with a no-nonsense tone.

"The short version is, we are in an alternate universe," Hannah reluctantly stated

"What?" Fred responded.

"I always knew slipspace could allow time travel, but I had no idea it could do THAT," Linda added.

"There is still a lot we do not know about it, and the damage to the drive certainly played a part in it," Hannah stated. "Still, that could have been much worse. We could have been atomized you know."

"Agreed. So, what can you gather from this reality?" Chief asked.

"Well, that's where it gets even weirder," Hannah said, chuckling.

She showed news articles of superheroes, supervillains, and vigilantes.

"Oh God," Fred spoke what everyone was thinking.

"So, basically, there are people who have been granted superhuman powers by a particle accelerator malfunctioning, being called metahumans. While most of them remain neutral, and do not get involved with crime, a good amount of them are quite malicious with their gifts. Even fewer in number exist some who go out and play hero," Hannah showed a hologram of someone wearing a red suit with a lightning bolt in the middle. "This here is Barry Allen, also known as The Flash by the media. He can run at supersonic speeds and is also a CSI. He keeps his identity secret, but it was child's play figuring out who he was," she bragged with a smile. "In addition, he has a team consisting of Francisco Ramon AKA Vibe, who can manipulate dimensional energy and has some form of clairvoyance; Katlin Snow, who does not appear to be a meta-human; Wally West AKA Kid Flash, pretty self-explanatory; and Dr. Harrison Wells, who is the oddest of them all, because he appears to be from an alternate reality as well."

"Interesting," Chief commented.

"As well as superhumans, this place has an incredible amount of corruption and crime, with the majority of it in an area known as Starling City," She continued. "There is also a group of vigilantes who try their best to curb the crime throughout the city," She showed images of a man wearing a green outfit with a mask, a hood, and a bow. There was also a red archer, a woman dressed in all black with an odd device around her neck, and a black man with a Greek-inspired helmet.

"Great, a modern-day Robin Hood," Fred grumbled.

"These are Oliver Queen AKA the Green Arrow, Thea Queen AKA Speedy, Dinah Laurel Lance AKA the Black Canary, and John Diggle AKA Spartan. And, Fred, I would show some respect toward Mr. Queen. His hand-to-hand combat skills rival those of the most elite ODSTS, and his marksmanship is also uncanny."

"Oh, it is ON," Linda piped up, sensing a challenge.

"Calm down," Chief cautioned.

"Hold on, I'm picking up multiple slipspace ruptures in Central City, which is odd because they have no clue about slipspace…" Hannah informed.

"I'm hacking into spy satellites, trying to find out what is going on… there appears to be a flood of 911 calls to police…Oh no."

She showed the Spartans an image from the ground

"No way," Chief said, not believing what he was seeing.
