Harry was walking through Nott Manor, the place itself was a lot nicer than Theo had advertised, though after his mother passed and his Father was murdered he probably had overwhelmingly negative memories of the house.
He was stopped by the sound of a voice, one that he knew he knew, and so he decided to track the source of it. He stood outside one of the many sitting rooms, the voice definitely belonging to the person he expected. He opened the door and stepped inside, quietly joining the meeting that was taking place.
"... I've also heard that the students of Hogwarts are being tortured, either by other students or by the Professor for refusing to torture the other students. How can you talk about Nurmengard when this is going on?"
"I'm sorry, Nigel, but I seem to recall you dropping Elias at my house, after you beat him, and said he was my problem now. We may be on the same side but don't think that means I've forgotten." Harry interjected before Marvolo could respond.
"I've made it more than clear that I Love Elias, I'm fighting for him, so is his mother, I did raise my hand to him once and I regret it now nearly as much as I regret joining Voldemort during the last war. I promise you now that I will redeem myself in his eyes, and maybe even yours." Nigel Hawthorn declared to the unimpressed teenager.
"If Voldemort is to break into Nurmengard then he will immediately go to Hogwarts. He could possibly kill untold numbers of students." Marvolo said evenly, raising his hand to silence the room. "We can absolutely not allow that to happen under any circumstances, the consequences would be catastrophic."
"We are going to Nurmengard Nigel, it isn't up for debate. Elias is quite alright, he is stronger than you think."
"I know he is. That's my boy."
"Back to the matter at hand, Voldemort is in control of the Ministry and as a result Carrow's job is secure for now. I have received tens of dozens of letters all asking me to return and kick Carrow out, believe me when I tell you that it has been rather difficult to ignore them. First Nurmengard and then Hogwarts."

October fourteenth was here and in two days there would be a full moon.
He was sitting in the common room with Elias and Daphne, just sitting there in silence, thinking about what was to come. The waiting had become too much and as a result he was becoming antsy.
Draco of course knew what was going to happen in two days, as did Elias and the Vipers who remained at Hogwarts, and yet he also knew that he couldn't help. His anxiety was clearly visible and had been commented on by Professor Snape, who had given him a calming draught after realising how unstable the boy was.
"Draco, is there anything you wish to tell me?"
"No Professor, I can't say there is. Just life stresses." He said to placate his godfather.
"If you find that you would like to unload your burden then I would be happy to lend an ear." The man offered, to which Draco thanked him before leaving.
Draco was privately coming to regret his decision to remain at the school, now wishing that he had stayed with Ron and the Vipers who were out fighting. Maybe he wouldn't come back after Christmas.
His thoughts kept going to their plans and how great the chance for failure was,
They had planned this for two weeks now, the removal of Carrow, and soon the day was at hand.
Amycus Carrow would regret the day he decided to torture the students of Hogwarts.

"Why the Dark Lord believes these insolent children will make good Death Eaters I will never know." Amycus Carrow muttered to himself as he graded the students' work.
As he finished writing a particularly mean comment to one of the second years, about their abysmal grasp of the lessons he had taught them, the door to his classroom burst open and Elias Hawthorn insulted him, before running away. Not one to let such disrespect pass without punishment, the Defence Professor ran after the fifth year with his wand already drawn.
He chased him from one end of the third floor to the other, shouting at him to stop running if he wanted to lessen his punishment. The boy was either ignoring him or simply couldn't hear him, that wasn't an issue for the Death Eater as he knew many spells that would clean out his ears, though some of them would leave the boy without a head.
Just as his frustration grew to breaking point he saw the boy jump under a statue of a one eyed witch, a precious mediwitch of Hogwarts, and knew that he had the boy.
"Mr Hawthorn, it wasn't your smartest decision coking down here, I'm sure nobody will miss you." The professor said darkly, a predatory look upon his face.
"That is exactly what I'm thinking about you Amy'." The voice of Elias sounded behind him, confusing the Professor, who turned around to see a large group of students standing at the entrance to the passageway, with Nigel Wolpert standing next to him.
"Goodbye Professor." Nigel said cheerfully, in stark contrast to the dark look upon his face, as he raised his hands and the ground around Amycus began to shake. In the next moment there was no light, and no way out, as the tunnel collapsed on both sides of the man.
He would spend the next few days trying to dig himself out, ultimately starving to death in the tunnel under the school. The Dummy-Decoy of Elias simply taunting him until he perished.
The search for Amycus Carrow would never bear any fruit, especially after Nigel returned to send his body deep within the earth, giving him more of a burial than he deserved.
