Voldemort returns with an army of inferi.

Voldemort's attempted take-over of Britain has brought with it a sight that many who fought in the first war will remember, that being swarms of Inferi that increases with everyone they kill.

The fact that he has reverted to Necromancy doesn't bode well for the future of the wizarding world, for if anyone would disregard the laws of Necromancy it would be Tom Riddle.

The most feared Dark Lord of the last century is of the same blood-status as this reporter, we are both Half-blood. This man has used his Slytherin heritage to boast a completely fictitious pureblood ancestry when in fact his Father was a muggle.

Of course there is nothing wrong with a mixed heritage, the point that I am making here is that he has built a platform out of lies and fear that needs to be torn down from beneath his feet.

The Daily Prophet prevents me from disclosing my name after the attack on my old colleague, however if I had it my way I would have the bravery of Michael Stevens and throw this veiled anonymity to the side. I will take this chance to address those who are fighting against Voldemort.

Move quickly, you won't be able to reduce loss of life if you fail to act.

Harry put down the paper with a sad smile, he knew they would have to strike soon but the revelation of Voldemort's Inferi army had left him horrified.

Perhaps it was time to meet with Death, to see what the Master of Death could do against Inferi. He had manifested himself into Fate's world, as well as the realm of Magic, so doing the same with Death's realm should be just as easy.

With the three Hallows in his possession, Harry entered into a meditative state that Gellert had taught him recently. He could feel the instance he entered Death's domain, if by nothing else than the freezing air around him.

"I was wondering when you would show up here, are you here to taunt me or to learn from me?" Death asked him, his usual skeletal form not present today, rather he looked like both an old man and a young man at the same time.

"I wish to learn from you, what can you tell me about Inferi?"

"I cannot help you there, Inferi have been pulled from my grasp in a direct perversion of the agreements between myself and the first Necromancers. There are other things I can teach you, stay a while."

This was not like the other times, usually some part of him remained, sometimes Luna could hear him talking to those beyond, but today things were different. Luna could not feel Harry's presence, nor hear his voice, no matter how hard she tried.

When she consulted Dudley, he too could not hear anything, but he didn't find himself worried.

"Harry isn't gone, his heart rate is slowed down, as is his breathing, but he will be fine. Remember the song, Luna."

"I thought that was a one-off."

"Harry knows how to return, he has done it before. Though this time we won't have a body to get rid off as be can just return to this body."

"I still cannot believe that Harry allowed Professor Snape to use his body for potions ingredients, that's a pretty messed up way to treat a body." Luna whispered, going pale at the thought of her friends being sliced apart, a recurring nightmare now.

"I know how you feel, be thankful that you weren't the one to walk in and see the body, Elias had to immediately run to find Harry to ensure that he was still alive. I think it still haunts him." Dudley theorised, placing a hand on Luna's shoulder. "I'll stay here with him to keep you from worrying."

"Thank you, Dudley." Luna smiled and left, heading to see Elias. She knocked on his door and a minute later he answered, though Luna could hear Derek running into the en-suite.

"Hello Luna, what brings you here?" The younger boy asked her.

"I've heard that you've been having nightmares about Harry's body, I've been having them as well and I would like to offer you the chance to talk about it to someone who isn't your immediate family." Luna explained, feeling a bit silly but remaining sincere nonetheless.

"You are family, Luna, don't say that." Elias chided, stepping aside to invite Luna in for a long and emotional discussion about emotions and the future, with Derek trapped inside the bathroom for the duration of the discussion, hoping to remain unnoticed.

When the sun came up, and she could hear Harry again, Luna rose and left, hugging Elias and remarking.

"Derek could have come out at any time, he wasn't the most discreet at moving into the bathroom when I knocked, thank Merlin that I didn't need to use the toilet during this conversation." Luna joked, watching in amusement as Elias' face turned progressively more red as time went by.

Every house he came across was empty, had the people simply evacuated or did they have a way of knowing he would be there? Voldemort was thinking, furious that his plans to expand the army walking beside him, by slaughtering the traitors who once served him, had failed so spectacularly.

He knew that he could take as long as he wanted to do this, yet he felt unusually pressed for time. Two-thousand Inferi should be enough to give him the win, tied as they were to his very soul.

There was only one Voldemort, even if an imposter was parading around pretending to be him. The entire world would fear the name Voldemort, but before then he would have Britain.

He didn't know how long they had left, the people of Britain, nor did he have a clue how many nights they could lie peacefully in their beds, but he did know that one day he would have everything.
