The fact that Harry vomited upon waking up was enough to tell him that today was going to be anything but normal, the added fact that people were shouting outside his room, running from one place to another frantically.
Suspecting that he would have a mission, Harry put on his combat gear, making sure to carry the Hallows and his sword with him, putting a bit more magic into the sword that now thrummed with energy.
Ha had paid to have everyone outfitted with customised Dragon-hide armour, which he was putting on at that moment, and hoped it would make a difference in the fight to come.
Knowing that this would be his last moment of peace for a while, Harry took a deep breath and centered himself before leaving his room, heading to see what had caused such commotion. He soon found out that Voldemort was on his way to Hogwarts, intending to add every last student and Professor to his Inferi army. The very idea made Harry sick, however he knew that they would be more prepared than ever before.
"Fawkes will be our fastest way to travel, though he can only bring small groups with him." Harry announced to the room while the issue of transportation was being discussed.
"I might be able to help with that." Derek suggested, sounding unsure of himself until Elias grabbed his hand and supported his boyfriend. "After seeing Elias absorb FiendFyre I became curious, after all if he could do that then what could I do? I asked Fawkes if I could experiment with holding his fire, once he ignited himself, I placed my hand within the flames, feeling them crawl up my arms and over my entire body. I felt ethereal for a moment until my body stabilised." Derek paused for a moment to collect his thoughts.
"Everyone will need to be holding onto each other at that point, I cannot hold it for long, but I can amplify Fawkes transportation ability and we can all go wherever he goes." Derek finished, stepping back out of the spotlight while the room decided what to do, quickly agreeing with his idea to help Fawkes transport them, with the rest of the Fire Elementals dotting themselves around the room so they could further boost the fire.
In an instant the room emptied and they were on the Hogwarts grounds, with most of the large stone rings still fully intact. They saw a few Professors running out of the castle, with McGonagall locking the door behind her.
"Thank you for coming at such short notice, I feared that it would take many hours for you to arrive, by which point the school could have very well been emptied of life." The Headmistress announced to the newly arrived group.
"We won't let Voldemort win. Earth Elementals, let's bring the barriers back up to full strength. Water Elementals can you freeze all of the land by the forest, making sure to make the ice as slippery as you can. This will slow him down in the event we all fall." Moody barked out, his voice magically amplified to allow everyone to hear it.
"I hope you have begun evacuation of the students already." Marvolo said to the Headmistress, his tone giving no false impressions as to who was in charge right now.
"We have aye, though I do hope that it does prove to have been an unnecessary step." McGonagall responded, looking her age for the first time that Harry had ever seen.
"We will stop him, don't worry." Harry assured her with a smile, knowing that not everyone there would see the morning.

They had waited for an hour with absolutely nothing happening, then out of nowhere the wards flashed red and burned away. It was another ten minutes before Voldemort appeared, his army of the undead writhing behind him.
"Not even your unconditional surrender will allow you to escape this alive, you'll be much more useful to me once you're dead." Voldemort announced, standing on the other side of the lake of ice with a malicious grin upon his burned face. "It is so nice of you all to offer yourselves to me so willingly." He taunted, rising into the air and passing over the ice lake, lighting fires as he hovered towards them.
The second he touched down on the other side of the ice the battle truly began, with dozens of multicoloured lights flying at the Dark Lord, most of which were deflected or avoided, with some colliding before they hit him. With a single wave of his wand the sounds of several necks breaking was heard, with Voldemort reanimating the corpses among their ranks.
The army he had brought with him were charging at the living, with only the darkest or most destructive curses being able to stop them. Harry was shocked to see Professor Snape flying above him, somehow able to perform a skill that he thought exclusive to himself and Voldemort.
The Dark Lord growled at the traitor who had stolen his technique, sending a killing curse at him, something that was easily avoided by the flying man. As Voldemort rose to strike the man down, a vial smashed over his head, filled with a modified shrinking solution that took advantage of Harry's blood within the Dark Lord, having been brewed using Harry's corpse. The skin on Voldemort's head began to shrink, tearing along the burned seams and peeling off.
The Dark Lord screamed in agony, cancelling the potion's effects before it spread across his body. Snape had already landed while the Dark Lord was distracted, though he still rose into the air to seek the man out and kill him. Once he was sixty feet in the air he noticed something barrelling towards him, attempting to dispel it only for it to duplicate and explode in his face. If he wasn't in the middle of the explosion Voldemort would have seen the Gryffindor lion that surrounded him.
While he floated there, his rage building up, Harry decided that he had had enough of Voldemort flying around and disrupted the air currents around him, causing him to plummet to the ground, only barely managing the spell to cushion his fall.
The Inferi had killed a few of the fighters, including Elias' father who had put himself between his son and certain death, all of whom were promptly reanimated by Voldemort.
He only wished that he could reanimate the fallen Inferi so that his army would never deplete.
He could see boulders crushing his soldiers, while others were frozen in ice, and some were even burned to ashes. Seeing the latter happening had inspired Voldemort to send FiendFyre to the largest group of fighters, though Potter's obnoxious younger brother had stepped in the way and had caught it.
"Impossible! Nobody can survive FiendFyre." Voldemort shouted at the child in front of him.
"Interesting hypothesis, let's test that out." Elias shouted back, throwing a torrent of green fire at the Dark Lord, who had to apparate away from certain doom.
Fortunately for him he had managed to end up with a clear line of sight towards Potter's back, he sent a killing curse at the Boy-Who-Lived-To-Be-A-Thorn-In-His-Side, already celebrating his victory when someone dove in the way, falling to the floor unmoving.

Harry heard the words being shouted, however he could only turn in time to see Blaise get hit by the green light and hit the ground, hard.
Before Voldemort could reanimate his body Harry had already ignited the air within Voldemort's lungs, dropping him to his knees, and walked towards the man he hated more than anyone else in life. With a wave of his hand, Harry flung all of the Inferi into a heap by Hagrid's hut.
