Year: ?, location; dark void of nothingness…
It was dark and quiet.. a void that was an endless space of emptiness, not a single soul or object could be seen here. But all of that was about to change, when a spark of light started to shine in the void as it started to grow bigger and bigger.
"KABOOM!"
The light was so big that it exploded, leaving sparks of colors, stars and light all over the void, making it brighter and full of wonder. After the explosion was over, an orb came floating down to the center of the void and flew around the void for a bit, until it stopped for a minute.
The orb was glowing into different colors, like a chameleon and it had a swirling spark in the middle. The orb started to glow and use telekinesis on a random spark and then turn it into a blob. I then started to give the blob some eyes, horns, fur-thers, claws, hooves, snout like beak and a long tail.
It then gave it colors like green, purple and orange. After that the orb gave the creature some tattoos that look like strange symbols, after it was done the orb started to glow brightly and shot a blast of strange energy into the creature. The creature absorbed the energy, then started to float, glow and spin, until it stopped and fell limb to the ground.
"Ugh my head." The creature started to move and raised its head up, then opened its eyes. "Huh, where am I?" It asked.
The orb then flew down and slowly floated in front of its face. "Hmm? Who or what are you?" He asked.
The orb then started to write its name in a trail of light in the air. ("The Orb Of Wonder") The orb finished and went back to the beast.
"The Orb Of Wonder, is that your name?" He asked as the orb turned green, meaning that's a yes. "So did you make all this for me?" He asked.
The orb then turned green again and then it started to swirl around him. "Wow if you made me, then what's my name?" He asked. The orb then started to write in the sky again.
("Owen Emerald; The Beast") The orb finished and went back to Owen. "My name is Owen Emerald." Owen said.
The orb then started to fly and swirled around as it flew away from him, it even made some floating path for Owen to follow him. "You want me to follow you, okay lead the way." Owen said as he followed the orb.
Owen followed the orb along the way, creating some more paths and amazing scenery. The orb created stars, comets, planets, magical sparks flying around in space and the ocean of colors splashing at the bottom. While following the orb, they came to a stop on a platform and in the middle was a table with a stick on it.
"Huh what's this?" Owen said as he went up to the table and picked up the stick.
The orb then flew down to Owen and turned into a spark, then flew into the stick as it started to glow. The stick then turned into a paintbrush-staff and landed next to Owen, after that it started to turn into a wand, blaster, megaphone-gun, omni-directional mobility gear, pencil, sword-minigun and a power star.
The orb then turned back into a staff and went into Owen's hand. "Whoa, what is going on?" Owen asked confusingly.
"I can help you with that." Owen looked up and saw a blue star coming down, then it turned into a tall robed man with a beard, pointy hat and a monocle. "Hello there." He greeted Owen.
The man had floating hands with no arms, no legs and feets, also a square head. "Who are you?" Owen asked.
"I am your S.I.G, Sorcerer Information Guide and I am here to help, guide and stand by your side for years to come, until someone takes your and mine place." Sig said as he pulled out his wand.
"Information guide huh, say Sig do you know what's going on and why am I here?" Owen asked as Sig conjured up a big cloud.
"Well I can't give you all the details yet, not until you're ready and older." Sig said as he transformed the cloud into some kind of screen.
"You see lad,you're a Mystical Guardian, a being that was sent to create life and wonder in this new world and protect it from darkness.." Sig explained as he showed him the Random-verse.
"Your job is to create and protect this new creative universe, while also interacting with its inhabitants."
"Really so that's why this orb made me and then turned into a big paintbrush?" Owen asked.
"Yep and I'll be teaching and training you along the way." Sig said. "Now your first step is to create this new universe."
Sig then waved his wand and a few paint cans and inkwells appeared, then a massive blank dot appeared in the air. Owen then grabbed the brush and dipped it into the paint, after that he grabbed a few inkwells and placed them in a small purple bag.
"Your first task is to fill in this massive dot and turn it into a new universe, just imagine what this universe will be like, then wave your staff and point it at the spot to fill it in." Sig explained.
"Okay, here goes nothing." Owen closes his eyes and imagines what his universe would look like.
While he was concentrating, the staff started to glow and then when Owen opened his eyes, his eyes were starting to glow too. Owen started to swirl his staff and pointed at the spot, then the brush started to shoot out a blast of magical paint onto the spot. After the entire spot was covered, the paint started to swirl and then explode into millions of stars.
"Whoa." Owen stared in wonder as the spot started to transform into different types of galaxies and worlds, until it became a big colorful swirl. "Did I ..make this?"
"Indeed and I must say, you're quite the young artist." Sig complimented.
"So now what?" Owen asked.
"Now… your training has just begun." Sig said as he took out a wand and waved it around.
As Sig waved it around, the void started to change into a ballroom with stairs, rooms, halls, furniture and decorations.
"Whoa!" Owen awed in amazement.
"Now then let us begin." Sig said.
20 years later…
It's been twenty years since Owen began his training and he is almost an adult, during the years Owen's been learning, training and exploring the universe he made and making new friends on his journey along the way. Owen was now bigger and had a belt around his neck to carry his staff, paint and inkwells.
"Okay Sig, what's my next lesson for today?" Owen asked.
"Actually I have some good news." Sig said happily. "One, this is your last lesson and two, we're going to move to the Main World."
"You mean…"
"Yep we're going to live in the Central Valley in Anim-acres, I already found a place for us to build a home." Sig said.
"Okay Sig." Owen said.
"Oh and one more thing, we're not the only ones living there." Sig said. "We're going to be expecting some company."
"Really who?"
"It's a surprise so pack your bags kid, we're leaving tonight." Sig said as he left to get ready.
"Wahoo! Something tells me this is going to be the beginning of an adventure." Owen said as he started to pack.
Meanwhile with Sig…
"So how is his progress going so far Sig? Is he almost done with his training?"
"Yes your majesties, your son has grown strong and finished learning every single lesson and technique you have given me to teach him and now he has one last lesson to start his journey." Sig said.
"Ah good he is getting stronger everyday and once he knows the truth, he'll be ready to face the threat that's soon to come."
"You have done well Sig, be sure to report back to us on any updates of any changes."
"Yes sir and madam." Sig said as he hung up the phone and finished packing.
"Oh I hope you'll be ready Owen, cause you're going to be involved in a bigger event." Sig said to himself as he picked up his suitcase and left the empty room.
Location: Anim-acres; Central Valley. Year: 20XX.
The Central Valley is a haven for rare, exotic and endangered animals to live and the people of Central City help provide and protect the animals here. The Central has a history about the valley and their people. A long time ago their people worshipped mystical and ancient guardians that had the power to create and protect the innocent from evil and one of them was none other than Owen himself.
"Wow so is this where we'll be living Sig?" Owen asked as he stepped out of the portal.
"Yep, I found this gigantic crater here last month and made a few areas for our new guests who will be living with us." Sig said.
"Okay so who are they and when are they coming?" Asked Owen.
"Oh they should be arriving right about… now." Sig said as a portal appeared and a school of mystical animals, humans, entities, astral creatures and hybrids came out.
"Whoa a-are ...they other Mystical Guardians, like me Sig." Owen asked.
"Yep Owen, meet the next generation of Mystical Guardians who are almost ready to graduate like you." Sig said.
"Wow really."
"Yep and you're going to lead them."
"... ...say what? Did you just say lead them?" Owen asked.
"That's right lad, now listen everyone, this is your last lesson of training today." Sig then magically brought out a big hourglass, map, floating orb and a crystal tablet. "Your final task is to bond and work with each other as a team, while Owen here will be leading you on your way, now do you have any questions?"
"So what do we do?"
"Yeah, how can we work together?"
"And where can we do it?"
"Also how long until it's all over?"
"That's easy, here is a map that'll show you all the rest of the region of Anim-acres and this orb and tablet will be recording your progress, give you the location you have to go and giving your assignments as well, also you have until by the end of the month to complete your lesson so goodluck." Sig explained.
"But wait Sig, what are you going? Owen asked.
"Me, I'm going to build your homes here in the crater, while you're all going on a long field trip." Sig said as he poofed away to start working.
The hourglass started counting down and the tablet glowed, along with the orb. "Welp we all better be going." Owen said as he looked at the tablet.
"What does it say sir?"
"It says our first stop is to head on over to a place called Remnant Isles, in the Anime-nia." Owen said as he pressed the tablet and a portal appeared.
"Come on everybody, let's get going." Owen said as they all went inside the portal to start their journey as the portal closed.
"This is the beginning of a new adventure."
