Lost Galaxy: Technopathic Adventure
This is my new story as a passionate power ranger fan my whole life, I've watched them all from Mighty Morphin to Beast Morphers Season 2. Leave a review, disclaimer I don't own anything except Dante.
Quasar Quest Part 1
"Sometime in the not-too-distant future the earth begins a search for a new world"
"three thousand years ago these six Quasar Sabers were placed here" An old man begins recounting the legend gesturing to six sabers held within a segment of stone as Maya jogs to the gathering laughing as she joins her friends.
"Here they shall remain until those of you who prove themselves worthy release them, and harness their mighty power transforming them into mighty champions guaranteeing peace and the triumph of good, begin" Maya watches as the participants attempt to lift the saber closet to them with no success, her heart drops as her friend attempts to lift the saber but it doesn't budge an inch. Suddenly insectoid monsters leap into the gathering causing panic as the gathers attempted to flee. Among the panic a large and intimidating monster slowly made his way towards the Quasar Sabers.
"Finally, the Quasar Sabers will be mine!" Furio yells as he grips the same saber the gathers were trying to lift.
Que Intro
An old lady was walking down an alleyway carrying some luggage when two thugs block her path, she tries to go back another appears to box her in.
"We don't want any trouble, just give us your passport!" The lead thug yells as they begin to close in on the lady.
"LEAVE HER ALONE!" A voice yells as the thugs have the lady backed against the wall.
"You can't possibly be talking to us" The thug says to Leo who stands defiant.
"You see anybody else here? If you know what's good for you, leave the lady alone" Leo says as the lady rushes towards him, the thugs' attention drawn away from her for the time being.
"Just walk away buddy" The thug says as he and his allies approach Leo who is standing protectively in front of the lady. Leo turns to her and reaches for her passport and she hesitates.
"It's okay" he reassures her as he gently grabs it and turns towards the thugs and holding it up.
"You want this?" Leo teases.
"That's the idea genius" The lead thug says as he reaches for it only to be kicked in the chest by Leo. Leo dodges one attack by sitting in a chair and then kicking the chair into the other thug. Leo mostly dodges the thugs' attacks and blocks the ones he can't dodge using the environment around to do his fighting until he was grabbed from behind and thrown onto a couch. The thugs cheer as the leader holds up the passport envelope, he gestures to the biggest one who nods and goes to punch the downed Leo when a hand catches his punch at the apex.
"Back off" The thugs look and see an African-American man with medium-length Bob Marley style dreadlocks with an easily spotted full beard, he has deep chocolate brown eyes. He's wearing a purple hoodie and black jeans with purple and white sneakers.
"You got what you wanted now get out of here" He says glaring at the thugs who scoff and walk off. The lady pleads with them to come back as Leo is helped up by his savior who picks up the lady's luggage and gives them to her.
"What will I do now?" She says, Leo holds up her physical passport and she graciously accepts it.
"You better hurry, last shuttle's about to leave" Leo says.
"Aren't you going?" She asks.
"No, I wasn't selected" Leo says.
"What a shame, if anyone deserves to go it should be you, the new world needs young men like you" She says and Leo smiles at her words.
"Thanks" He says helping her pick up her luggage.
"Thank you, bye" She says as she walks off, she smiles at the young man wearing the purple hoodie who smiles and nods at her.
"She's right you know" Leo sighs at the words of the other.
"This again Dante" Leo says.
"You deserve this, Leo; you know I can get you away all I have to do is work my magic" Dante says and Leo shakes his head.
"No, I don't want you to get in trouble for me, you were selected I wasn't you'll just have to adventure for the both of us" Leo says.
"I don't know man; this doesn't feel right we've been together since we were kids, you looked out for me and I feel like I'd ditching you man" Dante says and Leo sighs at his friend.
"You're not I want you to go" Leo says and Dante sighs nodding his head.
"Alright man I gotta go catch the shuttle before it leaves me, don't want both of us to be left behind, but seriously think about it man" Dante says and the best friends share a fist bump. Dante walks off leaving Leo who goes in the opposite direction only to stop at a collection of Terra Venture posters on the wall, the old lady's words echoing in his head.
Dante is line to get on the shuttle for Terra Venture in front of the turnstile waiting to be let through, he glances to his left as a family gets through the turnstile jams as their son tries to get through. He tries push it but it doesn't pudge as the guard Is momentarily distracted by something else. Dante smiles at the boy and his eyes glow purple as he uses his left hand to touch the turnstile which suddenly lets the boy through, Dante winks as his eyes return to brown and holds a finger up to his lips and the boy nods understanding before he runs off to join his family.
Dante makes it through the turnstile and hands his luggage to someone to load, he turns his head to look back at the city and smiles before boarding the ship. Dante takes his seat as the shuttle takes off, he looks behind him and smirks at what he sees.
"Over here" Dante whispers to Leo who hurries over and puts his bag in the overhead compartment and takes a seat next to Leo.
"Change your mind?" Dante asks with a smirk and Leo smiles back.
"Mind if I take a look?" Leo asks pointing to the window and Dante nods leaning back as Leo takes a look. Leo and Dante sit in comfortable silence as the shuttle reaches the large space station known as Terra Venture. When they exit, they pass a pair of men crying, Dante shrugs his shoulders as they step onto the escalator going down.
"We might want to run" Dante says taking note of the guards at the same time as Leo, the look at each other and nod then they hop onto the up escalator and take off running. They run as fast as they can when suddenly Leo slams into someone, as they help each other up they stop to look at each other.
"You outta be more careful" The other person accompanying the female Leo slammed into says breaking their staring.
"attention all units we are in pursuit of a stowaway in the south hall" Dante hears as Leo goes to pick up the girl's bag.
"Leo we gotta go, somebody to meet" Dante says and Leo nods handing the male the girl's bag and they walk away quickly.
"Hey, did you see two guys about this big one wearing a red shirt the other a purple hoodie?" A guard walks up to them and asks.
"What did they do?" She asks the guards.
"We believe the one in red is a stowaway and the one in purple is heling him" He responds as the man goes to tell them where they went the girl stops him.
"No sorry" She says, they walk off and she goes in the other direction as the man follows her slightly confused.
Leo and Dante manage to successfully evade the guards as they were searching for them. Leo hides behind a pillar and Dante blends in with the crowd when Leo spots some solider helmets, he nods to Dante who gets the idea and both rush over and put the gear on. They successfully fool their pursuers and attempt to leave.
"Hey you two, you're going the wrong way young men, come on we're on a tight schedule" Dante looks at Leo and both smirk and get in line. Leo and Dante are heading towards an army chopper when they handing body armor.
"Woah hey! Where are we going?" Leo asks the soldier behind him.
"Moon" Was his simple response.
"What? I just got here!" Leo says stopping only to be pushed forward.
"Play it cool man, they don't know we're not them so just nod and march" Dante says lagging back so Leo can catch up with him.
"These are the last defense exercises we'll have before Terra Venture leaves, all your senses need to be on full battle alert, no mistakes, delta team you will be first followed by gamma, remember this a full battle-ready exercise including explosives, watch for your enemy, anticipate stay calm and remember; never, ever leave a teammate behind" The commander says.
"Yes sir!" The soldier's respond, Dante looks at the blaster he was handed and his eyes glow purple and instead of seeing the outside of the gun he's looking at the inside of the gun, Dante smirks until Leo nudges him.
"Make sure no one can see you when you do your thing, don't want to freak these guys out" Leo whispers and Dante nods.
When they land on the moon it's totally mayhem with soldiers charging and explosions ringing. A group of soldiers lead by the man Leo and Dante encountered charge over a hill and take cover.
"Kendrix you two stay here, everybody else let's go!" He orders Kendrix and unknown to him Dante and Leo. Dante frowns as he senses something when Leo spots it.
"WATCH OUT!" Leo yells and the three of them run away from the grenade as it explodes knocking them off their feet.
"Are you okay?" Leo asks Kendrix helping her up.
"Yeah" She responds.
"I'm okay to thanks for asking" Dante says as Leo helps him up.
"It's you guys!" she says recognizing them.
"Yeah, it's us" Leo says smiling and Dante smirks.
"Kendrix! Are you okay?" Her friend runs over and asks her and as she responds yes, he spots Leo and Dante.
"You, you're the stowaway!" He yells pushing Leo, Dante immediately steps in front of his friend.
"Kai, kai!" Kendrix says trying to stop her friend as Dante glares at him.
"Hey is everybody okay?" A soldier says running over to check on them, he looks over at Leo and Dante.
"Leo, Dante?! What are you two doing here?" He demands.
"You know him?" Kendrix asks.
"They're brothers" Dante says.
"Brothers?" Kai questions but it isn't answered as Mike pulls Leo aside to scold him. Dante watches the brothers argue and goes over to try and break it up when suddenly some sort of portal opens up and a girl goes tumbling down, Dante quickly catches and helps her up.
"Woah! Are you okay?" Dante asks the girl who looks up at him and he suddenly can't seem to find words as they lock eyes. Suddenly four insectoid monsters roll down the hill and land on their feet.
"F for the look but A for the entrance" Dante says as he pushes the mysterious girl behind him. The monsters move oddly and suddenly attack managing to knock Leo onto his back and stop Mike from firing his blaster, and they throw both to the side as they surround Dante and the girl.
"I guarantee you ain't getting' past me" Dante says as he engages two of the creates pushing them back as the other engage as well. When one of the creatures goes to grab the girl Dante's hand suddenly grips it's stinger like hand.
"I thought I told you no" Dante says and suddenly picks up the creature and slams it down with a vicious thud. The others mange to grab some blasters, Dante looks at his blaster and holds up his hand and his glow and it shoots into his hand and they aim them at the creatures. The creatures jump into the air and wings shoot out of their backs and they fly through the portal they came from.
"Who are you?" Dante asks turning back to the girl.
"My name is Maya; my home is the planet Mirinoi, or what's left of it" The now named Maya responds and Dante lets out a small smile, which turns out into a frown when hears that last part.
"Mirinoi, I've never heard of it" Kendrix says as Maya walks towards the portal, Dante runs to catch up with her.
"Are you going back, how do you know if it's safe?" Dante asks and Maya turns back to him.
"I have to go back; Scorpius will destroy my world if he gets his hands on those Quasar Sabers" Maya responds.
"Well, what are we waiting for, let's go!" Leo says.
"Are you crazy?! We don't know wants on that planet!" Kai yells.
"I'm going" Dante says and everyone looks at her.
"I can't let her fight those things on her own" Dante says holding up his blaster, everyone except Leo and Mike watch in amazement as his eyes glow purple and the gun disassembles itself and the parts fit themselves around his arms.
"There now I've got some extra punch" Dante says as he turns towards the portal.
"He's not going alone; I'm going with him" Kendrix says and Mike nods.
"He's right we can't leave her to fight those things by herself, Leo stay here Kendrix and I will go, Kai look after him please" Mike says and he and Kendrix walk over to Dante and Maya.
"But I want to help" Leo says.
"Stay here" Mike says firmly and Dante shoots him an apologetic look as he and Maya enter the portal shortly followed by Mike and Kendrix, no one notices Leo sprinting after them and running through the portal as Kai calls after him.

Alright here we go, this my first one of these a story not based on Naruto, Total Drama, or Sports. I chose Lost Galaxy because I really liked this season and I wanted to write these by era, this is the first show in the Post-Zordon Era so it was a wise choice since I'm not doing the Zordon Era, nothing against it but they already have plenty of team spanning rangers.
