Well it's my birthday today so to celebrate it, here's a short but funny Sonic fanfic for you.

Have you guys ever experienced a time where you're in the car with your parents and then you turn on the light and then your parents freak out and get mad at you? Well this fanfic was inspired by this YouTube video, "your parents when you turned the car roof light on" from Jack Pop. Seriously if you guys haven't seen the video yet please go watch it, it's HILARIOUS, LOL.

After a tough battle against Eggman's minion, Egg Golem, Sonic and the gang, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy, were about to launch into space. Their destination, Space Colony ARK. Their goal, to destroy the main cannon and save the Earth. Oh and for Knuckles, to find the remaining pieces of the Master Emerald. Can't forget that.

Alright, so the space shuttle launched from inside the pyramid and into outer space. And our heroes were making their way towards the ARK. You know, the big rock with the pointed structure.

"So this is the space colony where Eggman is hiding." Sonic said

"We just have to get past this rocky field and we'll make it inside." Tails said as he steered the shuttle carefully.

Should be smooth sailing right?

Meanwhile, Knuckles was making sure the pieces of the Master Emerald he had collected so far were safe. Then he wandered around the shuttle for a bit until he found a light switch. It was dark inside so he flipped it on.

WORST MISTAKE EVER!

"AAAAAAAHHHHHH!" Everyone screamed as the space shuttle spiraled out of control. The light was bright that no one could see properly.

"I CAN'T SEE, I CAN'T SEE, I CAN'T SEE ANYTHING!" Tails shouted from the controls.

"OH NOOOOO WE'RE NOT GONNA MAKE IT! KNUCKLES TURN THE LIGHT OF-"

Before Amy could finish her sentence, Tails steered hard to the left and crashed into a huge rock. The shuttle took serious damage and went flying and everyone inside was bouncing around. The hatch opened and the pieces of the Master Emerald flew out and scattered everywhere.

"NOOOOOOO!" Knuckles yelled helplessly.

"WHERE'S THE LIGHT SWITCH?! AHHH!" Sonic and Amy tried to find the light switch in all this chaos by dragging their hands across the wall. Unfortunately they just couldn't find it.

"KNUCKLES WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!" Sonic yelled.

Then Knuckles jumped out of the shuttle after the emerald pieces while screaming "I'M COMING MASTER EMERALD!"

"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHH"

No one could tell what had happened, but sometime later, Sonic, Tails and Amy somehow made it into the space colony. They were REALLY dizzy as they disembarked the shuttle.

"Ugh, is everyone alright?" Tails asked.

"I-I think so. Oww my head hurts." Amy groaned.

Sonic grunted in annoyance. "What was that knucklehead thinking, turning on the dang light in the shuttle. I thought we were toast for sure."

The blue hedgehog looked around for Knuckles, but was nowhere to be found. "Annnd he's gone, of course."

"Well since we're here, we might as well take a look around." Tails said.

Sonic and Amy nodded in agreement and they all went to explore the colony.
