There is always an end to one's life. No matter what, everyone had to come to their's. Depending on the life a person lived. They could ascend to the above, to the good grasps of Heaven and rest in enteral peace. But this paradise was not so easy to get into. Most would fall away from this peaceful ending and plummet down to the pits known as Hell. This ending is where most souls had come to. And it was not a forgiving world. Its citizens had grown use to these damned souls falling out of the pentagram in the sky. This was the ways of Hell, there were always new souls arriving every minute. The reaction of some would be relieved of still being alive, while most would panic after finding they were now in Hell. So it was no surprise when Hell's newest resident panicked, not understanding his situation. This new demon looked around confused, his clothes now dirty from the fall and his body shaking from the pain. He coughed a few times, feeling blood come out as well. Slowly he got on to his hands and knees, he winced as his whole body screamed in pain.

What happened, he thought to himself where was he? Carefully he got onto his feet and moved the messy hair away from his eyes, a large gasp escaped his throat. He stood in the middle of a large city but, this wasn't what shook him to his core. It was the giant red neon sign, a sign that read Welcome to Hell. The young man felt sick to his stomach, Hell he was in Hell?! How could this happen?! He tried to remember his last memory, he forced himself to remember but it only caused him a huge spiting migraine. He held his head, he had to find a way out of here. He didn't belong in this place!

He ran through the city desperately searching for a way out, he screamed in fear when he ran into a group of grotesques demons. Quickly he ran the other direction the entire world felt as it was spinning in circles. No matter how far he ran he couldn't get away from the monsters. Tripping over a pair of trash cans put a stop to his running, a groan echoed in the alley he had ran into. He hissed softly as the pain pulsed through his body. Slowly the demon sat up against the wall and hugged his knees, burring his head into them as tears began to fall from his eyes. Rocking back and forth muttering he didn't belong here, this is just a bad dream.

His attention was broken when he heard heavy foot steps near him. He looked up to see a pair of demons looking down at him with malevolent grins on their faces. A warthog like demon grinned as nudged the smaller demon with his foot.

"What's the matter kid? What's with the long face?" He chuckled

"I'm in Hell...I'm not suppose to be in Hell." The smaller demon said between sniffles

"Ha you don't know how many sinners had said that. Don't worry though kid, we know some nice folks that can help you out." the other demon said

This demon was a devilish Minotaur, he reached out to the frighten demon to get a better look at him. From the looks in their eyes, the smaller demon could tell they were not to be trusted. He screamed when the warthog grabbed his arm and he struggled against iron grip.

"No, let me go!" The frighten demon yelled

"Looks like this one might be a fighter, we know how to settle little punks like you"The Minotaur laughed sending a punch into the smaller demon's face

His vision began to swirl around as his resistance stopped, The two demons laughed at the helpless demon, why...why was this all happening the frighten demon cried in in head. He groaned softly when the warthog threw him over his shoulder. He tried to move his body but, it wouldn't respond to anything. All he could do was cry helplessly as he was being dragged off to god knows where. What horrible thing could he have done to deserve this fate...

Suddenly his was dropped to the ground, he looked over to see the Minotaur had been knocked out by someone. He tried to see who was this savoir yet, he couldn't focus his eyes. They kept spinning in circles all he could see was a pair of black army boots fight against those that were trying to kidnapped. The voice of the owner growled as blood splashed against the ground, some of it had landed on the smaller demon. The owner of the boots grabbed the warthog, lifting him off the ground, and punched the warthog until blood steadily dripped onto the ground. The owner dropped the hog, the small demon gasped seeing his face was nearly unrecognizable.

He sobbed softly as he slowly turned his head to whoever this person or demon was. Fear filled his eyes as he saw an angry lion looking down at him. Blood was dripping down his facd as he panting heavily, looking down at the fear filled demon. The frighten demon shut his eyes tightly, hoping this beast would leave him alone. But it did not. The beast grabbed him, the smaller demon began to struggle against this beast. His body finally responding to him. The beast grabbed one of his arms and glared right into his eyes.

"If you are going to keep being ass then I'll leave you in this alley with those demon traffickers." The beast growled into his face

The smaller demon gasped when he was forced to look into the beast eyes, he saw jade green eyes burning into his own. A terrified whimper escaped the small demon's throat, he didn't know much of this Hell...if he had to choose, he would rather be with this angered beast than those malicious demons. He slowly shook his head no and stopped fighting. The beast huffed in agreement then began walking towards his destination.

After some time of walking the beast had arrived at a apartment complex building. The smaller demon was surprised to see such nice looking buildings in this wasteland. The beast went inside then into an elevator, he pressed once of the buttons and turned to the smaller demon.

"Can you stand on your own?" He asked

"I'll try" He answered softly

The beast lessen up grip, letting the smaller demon on to his shaking feet. He gripped against the beast trying his best to steady himself but, right now it seemed like everything was tilting back and forth. The beast sighed heavily then helped keep his balance.

"Looks like you have a concussion, you will have trouble moving around for a bit." The beast said

The elevator stopped on the sixth floor and opened, with small steps the two demons made it down the hallway to a door in the middle. The beast unlocked the door then helped the smaller demon onto the couch, he was told to wait there while the beast looked for something. He nodded his head and leaned back into the sofa, his eyes wonder around his new surroundings.

The living room was an opened space room with a large flat screen TV against the wall and an entertainment was just below it. He looked to his left to see a workout area with a punching bag, a weight set, and bench press. Next to that was small kitchen and after was a hallway which he could only assume lead to the bathroom and maybe a bedroom. Cartons of cigarettes were scatter around the place along with ashtrays, the place heavily smelled of cigarettes. He sighed heavily then held his head as he tried to concentrate on his last memory. He winced as the migraine came back again, he whimpered once more and stopped. Why couldn't he remember anything, why did it hurt to remember?

The beast came back to him, he held a first aid kit in his hands. He knelt in front of him, he opened the kit and began to tend to the wounds. The smaller demon now had a better look at this beast. This beast had rough golden fur covered the strong muscular body. This one that had seen many fights. Scars were scattered around his body while others were covered in bandages. The demon wore green cargo pants and a blood stained brown tank top. A bloody bronze knuckle, hung in the middle of his chest. Now the smaller demon could see this beast was not completely lion only had a strong face of one with a large scar on his left cheek, his sunset mane had been spiked up into a Mohawk. He had ears like a lion as well but it appears his right ear had been torn off from the fight.

"I'm sorry...You were hurt because of me" He said

"It looks worse than it is kid. Don't be sorry" The beast said "What's your name?" he asked

"...I don't know, I can't remember anything" He answered

"Geez, you are fresh from the grave then. Well if you haven't figured it out you are in Hell"

"But I don't belong here...I couldn't have done anything wrong." He sobbed

"Listen your memories will come back to you after some time here. Then it will make sense to why you didn't go to the big pearly gates." He explained

"...maybe there's a way out of here" He suggested

"Ha, you are really funny kid. Listen I've been in this piece of shit of a world for a few decades there is no way out."

"Hasn't anyone tried to find a way to escape?"

"I'm sure some sinners had tried and they probably they never found it. The only way to get out is to be killed by an exterminator weapon." The smaller demon looked at the beast confused "Once a year heaven sends an army of exterminating angels to wipe out Hell's overgrowing population." He explained

"These angels kill demon..."

"Yeah, most of the time they leave behind their weapons behind. This is the only way a demon can be killed. In a weird way, it gets you out of Hell"

The smaller demon looked down at his lap, his fist tighten as tears start to fall down from his face. So this was it, to be doomed to live in Hell then die by an angel. Was what he did that evil...did he cause so much harm he deserved this fa- He was snapped out of his thoughts when the beast slapped him, hard. He looked at the lion surprised at the rough treatment.

"Listen don't start crying and having a little bitch fit 'Why can't I go to Heaven. I'm not a bad guy' That is all bullshit! Everyone here has done something that God didn't like. So you either stay down and let others eat you up! Or you can fight back against them. Your choice, kid." The beast snarled

"That hurt." He sniffled

"Life hurts, stop being a little pussy about it and toughen up."

The smaller demon nodded then wiped the tears away from his face. What the beast said was true, maybe there was a reason why he was here and in time he would soon find out. He hissed in pain as a cold pack was pressed against his face, the lion sat by him. He grabbed some rubbing alcohol then cleaned his bleeding ear.

"You were pretty roughed up, so you are going to be in pain for a few days. I'll give you a break and let you stay here until can stand on your own"

"Thank you, um Mister?" he questioned

"I''m not a mister kid. Just call me Leon."

"Leon, thank you again for helping me...and for toughing me up a bit. Everything is just a big shock right now so it's good to have someone like you around."

"Don't think of me as a hero kid. I'm just tired of whinny bitches like you falling into Hell and crying because they are not in Heaven. Anyway can you at least remember your name?"

"...No, when I try to remember anything from before I start getting migraine"

"Well that sucks for you. Though you can pick a new name to go by now" He said as be began to bandage his ear.

The smaller demon thought for a moment for his name, he would need one until he remember what his real name was

"Kid...it's what I've been going by so far" he said

"Really jumping off the creative boat there aren't you, Kid"

"This coming from a guy named Leon who looks like a lion." He snickered

"So you are a bit of a wise ass then"

"Huh, maybe I am" Kid chuckled a bit
