It's been a while since I posted anything on here. I should probably be updating my other story but I currently have major writers block with that

In the meantime, I've come up with this random set of stories. I hope you enjoy!

FYI: Robin is 19 and Barbara is 20.

Cyborg sat on the couch in the large open sitting room of Titan's Tower on the coast of Jump City. Raven was also in the same room. Sitting in the darkest corner she could find with a book.

It was movie night. Beastboy and Starfire were in the kitchen getting snacks while Cyborg looked for the movie they wanted to watch.

Then Robin walked in. Raven did a double take when she saw him. It was rare for him to be out of his uniform.

He wore a blue shirt with the neck laying open, the top two buttons undone, and his sleeves rolled up to his elbows. The shirt was tucked into black, slim fit trousers and he wore dress shoes on his feet. He held a blazer over his shoulder with one hand and the other hand was casually tucked into his pocket. Shades covered his eyes in place of his mask and successfully hid them from the world.

"Damn, Robin," Cyborg said catching sight of his friend. "You clean up nice." He had a smile playing at the corner of his mouth at his joke.

Robin just grunted and carried on to the elevator at the other end of the room, trying to make his escape.

"Where are you going dressed like that anyway?" Cyborg asked, trying again to get his friend to speak. "Hot date?"

Robin sighed and turned around. "Yes," he ground out before turning back and carrying on.

"Really?" Cyborg sat up in his chair. Even Raven had put down her book in favour of listening to this conversation. "Is it a date-date or is it another 'Kitty' situation? Do you need backup?"

"It's a date-date. Don't wait up."

And with that he left.

Cyborg and Raven shared a look. Since when was Robin going on a date? Who was this mystery girl?

"I got the popcorn!" Beastboy called out happily as he walked into the room from the kitchen.

"And I the drinks of the sugar with the bubbles," Starfire added as she followed him.

"Did you know Robin had a date?" Cyborg asked them as they sat down.

"Robin has the date?" The colour seemed to have drained from Starfire's face but the boys didn't seem to notice.

"Seriously?" Beastboy asked with wide eyes. "No way! I never pictured Robin being the ladies type. He's always so serious."

"With whom does friend Robin have the date? How do we know she is not another Kitty who wishes to use friend Robin and to hurt him?" Starfire was standing up now and looking angry.

"He's fine Star," Cyborg replied. "Robin said it's a date-date. No idea who the girl is though. But we can ask him later."

Starfire nodded. They would do the asking later. She had to know who this woman was that had caught friend Robin's attention.

The key turned in the lock and a young man pushed a wheel chair through the door, a smiling yet irritated red head sitting in the chair.

"You know I'm perfectly capable of getting into my apartment on my own," she said, looking at the dark haired man before her.

"What kind of boyfriend would I be if I left you stranded in the middle of Gotham with no way home," the man replied with a light laugh.

"That's not what I meant and you know it, Dick."

Dick smiled at the beautiful woman in the wheelchair with her arms crossed, trying to be mad at him. He could see by the smile tugging at her lips she was failing.

"Babs," he started with a smile as he knelt down in front of her chair, making sure their eyes were level. "I know that you are an independent woman who is perfectly capable of taking care of herself. But I enjoy taking care of you too and making sure that you're ok."

"Thank you," she replied with a smile. "And than you for the bike ride. That was the closest I've come to flying since…" She looked down at her legs. He knew what she meant. The accident that left her confined to a wheel chair. "I miss it." She looked back up. "I miss flying though the streets of Gotham, swinging by a grappling gun. I miss being Batgirl. And as great as riding on the back of your bike was, it doesn't compare to that."

Dick nodded. He knew exactly what she meant. He was an acrobat by birth. He loved to fly too. He couldn't imagine what life would be like without that feeling you get when you're free-falling from a 20 story building.

"If Batman was the one that gave you the grappling gun, does that mean that I come second to Batman?" He smirked and watched as she rolled her eyes.

"Of course not. Batman may have been a focus in Batgirl's life, but Oracle isn't partial. She takes work where she can get it." She let out a laugh. A beautiful laugh that could make any grey cloudy day seem like the sunniest day in history.

"And what about Barbara?" he asked. "Is she partial?"

"Yes." Now it was her turn to smirk. "She happens to be partial to a particular Flying Grayson."

They both smiled as they looked into each other's eyes. Dick let out a soft laugh.

"Oh, I love you, Babs."

He froze as he realised what he said. Neither of them had said those words before. He had no idea what her reaction would be. She was a Bat at the end of the day and none of them were very good at handling emotions. He was surprised when he didn't see panic in her eyes. He saw another emotion there. One that he didn't recognise.

"I love you too, Dick."

He cupped her cheek in his hand. He couldn't really believe what was happening. He hadn't planned or expected tonight to end like this.

He pulled her face towards his and kissed her. He was surprised by the emotion behind the kiss. He had never felt anything like it. He tried to express as much himself.

Eventually they had to pull apart for air. They both stayed with heads resting together breathing before Dick pulled back to look into Babs' eyes. He had to go. He hated leaving her but it was already one in the morning and he had long drive ahead of him. Babs read the indecision as it flittered across his face.

"You have to go." He nodded and apologised. "Don't apologise! You have a team to get back to. I understand. And I know you'll be here when I need you. Besides, it's around now I get calls from confused vigilantes seeking Oracle's help."

Dick laughed and pulled her into one more quick kiss. When he pulled back, he stood up and took a step back towards the door.

"I'll be back in three days. We'll do date night here. We'll get Chinese take-out and we'll watch a cheesy movie. How does that sound?"

"It sounds perfect," Babs laughed in reply. "I'll see you in three days."

"You're the best, Babs," Dick said from the now open doorway. "I love you." He just had to say it again.

"I love you too, Dick."

As Dick pulled into the garage of Titan's Tower and dismounted his bike, he turned away from where he knew the cameras were and took off his helmet. He pushed Dick Grayson back down, putting on his shades to hide his eyes and becoming Robin again.

Sneaking back upstairs, he took one step into the sitting room and the lights turned on. He glared at his teammates who all sat opposite the door, obviously waiting for his return.

"So how was your date?" Beastboy asked while moving his eyebrows up and down with a sly smile on his face.

"Fine," Robin replied before marching off towards his room. His exit was blocked by a shield of black energy. He turned around to see Raven with her hand up, the same black energy swirling around her fingers.

"Come on man! You have to give us more than that!" Cyborg had stood up and had his arms raised as he spoke.

"No, I don't," Robin replied, crossing his arms.

"Come on, Rob! Tell us something!" Now Beastboy was standing too.

"Yes, Robin," Starfire added. "Tell us the details." She ground it out with a look on her face that gave away her anger. Even Raven cast a worried glance her way.

Robin understood why Starfire was angry. She liked him. She didn't like the idea of him going out on a date. There was a time when he liked her too. Before the feeling was mutual. Before…

When Barbara had her accident, he had started stopping by regularly to make sure she was ok. He was the most mentally stable out of everyone in his family and he wanted to make sure she had someone at least somewhat stable to help her through the sudden and drastic change in her life. After that they had reconnected. Sure he'd had a crush on her when they were younger, but this was different. And he loved it. He loved her.

"At least tell us her name," Beastboy said after he had been silent for a while.

"No," he replied quickly.

"What does she look like?"

"No."

"Where is she from?"

"No."

"Okay, okay," Cyborg jumped in before Beastboy had a chance to ask another question. "We get it. You don't want to give us any information that could help us figure out who she is. It's 2am. We'll let you go. If you answer this one question." Robin gestured for him to ask the question. "Is she hot?"

Robin was sure that if he'd had a drink, he would have spat it out at the sound of the question. Instead he expressed his surprise through his eyes as his teammates couldn't see them. After a few seconds he sighed.

"Yes." He had carefully locked away the memory of Babs in her Batgirl suit as she raced across the rooftops of Gotham chasing after Catwoman. He was sure both he and Bruce cherished that memory.

Cyborg smirked. "My man Robin went on a hot date!" he exclaimed with a laugh.

"Can we go to bed now?" Robin asked hoping his team could hear the annoyance in his voice.

Raven dropped the forcefield and he quickly walked out of the sitting room and down the hall to his room, his teammates following not far behind.

It was two days later. They finally tracked down a drug dealer that they had been searching for the past two weeks. But they lost him again.

Knowing that the man would probably go underground and lay low, and that it would be a while before they found him again, they had returned to the Tower and now Robin and Cyborg were scouring the city for any signs of the man. The rest of the team were sitting around them waiting to jump into action.

"Um…Robin…" Cyborg spoke up from his spot before the computer console. "Someone is trying to patch through a video feed."

Robin narrowed his eyes. "Put it up on the big screen and trace it."

Cyborg nodded and tapped a few buttons on the console. A window opened up on the screen showing a live feed from a warehouse downtown. The address was written across the bottom of the screen. The video showed the drug lord they were looking for ordering his goons to pack up all the merchandise while he kept glancing at the door with a panicked look on his face. He obviously expected them to burst through the door at any moment.

"I can't trace where the feed is coming from," Cyborg said, frantically tapping away at the console. "Whoever is sending it to us, they're good. Really good."

Robin sighed. He knew exactly who it was. He pulled out his communicator and found the contact he wanted. He pressed the call button then pushed the call up onto the big screen. As they answered, all that could be seen across the screen was a large purple 'O'.

"Hey Robin," they heard a woman's voice.

"Hey Oracle," he replied. "Are you enjoying yourself?" They all heard a sigh from the other end of the line.

"I'm bored!" Oracle exclaimed. "No one else seems to need any help at the moment and I thought I would lend a hand. By the way, he looks almost packed up so you'd better get a move on."

Robin smiled. "Yes, ma'am."

The voice on the other end of the line laughed and Robin's grin seemed to grow. "See you tomorrow, babe." Then the line was cut.

"Alright, Titans. Let's go."

Robin walked out of the room towards the garage leaving behind a surprised group of teammates. They all exchanged looks before staring at the retreated form of their team leader.

"Robin's hot date was with Oracle?" Beastboy's mouth was hanging open.

"It wasn't just a date, Beastboy," Cyborg replied his eyes not leaving the door where his friend had exited. "There was no first or second date awkwardness. They're in a relationship."

They heard a smash from behind them and looked around to see the glass that Starfire had been holding in pieces on the floor. Her eyes looked like fire.

"Robin is right. We must leave now to do the kicking of the butt." With that she walked out leaving her concerned teammates behind. The remaining three shared a look before following along with concerned expressions.
