Hey guys, this is my first fanfic to be on air.

This Dragon slayer fanfic will be different as usually in other ones(Like the fanfics: Water Dragon's journey, Star dragon slayer, and Sky and Moon Dragon of Fairy Tail V2 for example) they have their dragon slayers join the Fairy tail guild, well in this one? The Ice Dragon Slayer will be in his own guild and of course, he will meet the Main fairy tail crew or any other OG character at some point as this goes along.

Rest assure, this Dragon slayer is menacing in his own way, so hope you all enjoy the story.

Prologue:

On a storm snowy day, a little boy was aimlessly walking around, covering himself as snow began to rain down even harder. He looked poor and was shivering very hard.

"Where am I?" The boy wonders, having no clue why he's just walking around, "Where's home?...Where am I going too? I have no clue..." He covers his arms, wearing nothing but a shorts and a short sleeve shirt, "This area... I'm so cold..." He mutters in a gloomy state, as the snowstorm gets even worse, "...My whole body... is numb..." He drops to the ground, breathing heavily as fog comes out of his mouth. As he's on the snowy ground, he slowly looks up and sees a cave a few feet up ahead, much to his luck, "Ngh..." He crawls his way to the cave, seeing that he has no strength left to walk. Once he made it inside, he quickly passes out, sleeping while it continues to snowstorm.

10 minutes into his sleep, a low growl is heard and the boy slowly opens his eyes, walking him up, "H-Huh..." He raises his head and looks ahead at the dark part of the cave, "A growl...?" He hears it come closer and close, "It's a loud one too..."

Out of the darkness, an enormous Dragon reveals himself, looking downward at the boy, who looks up at him in total surprise.

The dragon's scales are a dark blue color, his legs are light blue/white, blending with the snow, and his underbelly scales are light blue. On his head are 6 devil-like horns, the same white/blue color of his legs and has icicles as his beard. At the end of his tail are a handful of extra sharp ice crystals and his wings are a transparent blue color.

"A dragon?!" The boy was shocked.

"I am the Ice Dragon King, Icigoneal." The dragon introduces and lowers his head down to his height, "What brings a small child like yourself in my cave?"

The boy is silent and doesn't say anything.

"Hmm?" Icigoneal asks again.

The boy takes several seconds and then answers, "I... have no clue." He answers, looking down timidly, "I don't know what I'm doing..."

"Where are your parents?" The Icigoneal asks.

"I don't know if I have any..." The boy replies, "All I was doing... was walking around, no place to go to... I don't know where I came from."

"Mmm." The dragon gets it and feel sorry for him.

"Are you... gonna eat me?" The boy asked, not showing any shred of fear, "I have no purpose on what to do... so it's better this way..."

Icigoneal makes a mad-like face and replies, "No boy, don't say such things like that. I'm not going to eat you." He calmly replies, "You have your whole life ahead of you. You're way to young to die."

The boy was surprised at his answer and stared up at the Ice dragon.

"Do you have a name?" Icigoneal asks.

The boy looks down with a sad look, "I... don't know if I have one."

"If that's the case..." Icigoneal takes a second and creates a name for him, "From this day forward, Your name will be Sueong Ryuto."

The boy looks at the dragon and tears up.

"Something wrong?" The dragon asks.

The boy wipes away his tears and now has a determined look, "No. I accept the name. I'm Sueong Ryuto."

Icigoneal smiles and offers this, "Boy, do you want to learn Ice Dragon Slayer Magic?"

"Ice... you can use magic?" Sueong asks in surprise.

"I can." The dragon replies, "Now... what is your answer?"

Sueong smiles brightly and likes the idea before replying, "Yes. Please teach me." He's ready to go.

Sueong is ready to be trained and expects a lot of things from the ice dragon.

For the next 5 years, Icigoneal teaches him the nature of being an Ice dragon slayer: Dragon's Roar, Ice Fist, Ice-Make, and many more. Before training, he has to strip down(except his boxers) so body can become one with the cold by staying in it for a long period of time. The dragon also taught him how to read, write, cook, and other useful life-long things. As a slayer, he also gains an enhanced sense of smell and hearing. The dragon also gives him a meal of Ice to feast on as eating a dragon slayer element fills/powers them up.

Sueong gets use to all of this everyday as time flows by. Getting use to the process and conditions of being a Dragon slayer, plus he sees Icigoneal as a true father figure, whilst the dragon also sees him as his true son. The dragon is proud by even step, hard-work, and proper use of Ice dragon slaying magic that the boy has accomplished. Sueong also enjoys making his magic stronger everyday and is happy to live up to his fathers expectations.

5th year...

At the snowy mountains, after a whole day, "All right, that'll be it for training for today." Icigoneal calls sueong back, which the boy happily nods and wraps up freezing a bolder before going to him, "Wow..." He's looking at his hand, "I'm really becoming a full-fledged Ice dragon slayer."

"That's right, Sueong." Icigoneal nods and smiles with his teeth out, "My boy, I'm very proud of you!"

Sueong smiles back, blushing a little at the compliment before putting his clothes back on.

They then go back to their cave, finally going to sleep after a long day. "Rest for now."

"Goodnight, dad." Sueong snuggles against the soft snow, the cold not bothering him anymore now that he's a Ice dragon slayer.

Icigoneal waits until sueong is deep in his sleep before heading out of the cave and flies into the sky to find a certain someone, leaving sueong sleeping alone in the cave.

Different location:

Icigoneal flies down to what appears to be a wide forest area.

"Hmm. This is the place and I look to be the first one to here." He looks around, "!" He suddenly sense something and quickly puts up an Ice wall to counter an incoming fireball.

A fire dragon appears down and lands, "Not bad, Ice brains."

"You'll have to do better than that, flame breath." Icigoneal lets down/shatters his wall, "Now it's my turn." He was about to retaliate with an ice shard.

"Stop right there, Icigoneal!" An Iron dragon stops him while flying down.

"Metalicana." The Ice dragon identifies and halts his attack.

"You didn't have to do that? I was waiting for his retaliation." Igneel chuckles and tells metalicana.

"This isn't the time for that." A female dragon flies down, "Don't forget why we met up."

"Oh, we know, Grandeeney." Igneel and replies.

"What he said, Sky queen." Icigoneal goes with it.

Two other dragons(White and Shadow) come flying in as well.

"We see you all are here." Weissloga said.

"Now, let's get down to business." Skiadrum adds.

They then circle around, now being silent for a moment.

The silent then breaks up, "So it's time, huh." Icigoneal knows.

"Yes, it is." Grandeeney nods.

"The day is finally here." Weissolgia sighs.

"I don't want to do it either, but We're going to perform the Dragon slaying secret art to enter the bodies of the dragon slayers." Igneel announces.

"This is all so we can prevent our children from turning into full dragons, like Acnologia." Metalicana understands.

"Right. When do we do it?" Icigoneal questions.

"On July 7, X777." Skiadrum reveals, "Thanks for telling us the detail, Igneel."

"No problem." Igneel's replies.

"I see, so I was the last to know about this." Icigoneal gets it and Igneel nods.

"While we do this... hopefully one day, our dragon slayer children will meet each other and be friends." Grandeeney hopes.

"I hope so too." Weissolgia agrees.

"Plus, if our sons end up being rivals..." Icigoneal grins at Igneel.

Igneel immediately gets what he's getting at.

"My son will be victorious!" They both say at the same time, which cause them to clash heads and boast about who's so will win. These two Dragons have a long history between each other, battling between who has stronger magic/better dragon king.

"Here we go again, their rivalry never ceases to surprise me." Skiadrum sighs.

"You can say that again." Metalicana agrees, so does Grandeeney.

After the two stop their bucking, "So it's decided then." Igneel nods.

"Yeah." Icigoneal agrees, and they do as well in performing the dragon slayer secret art.

"Until then, my friends." They say their final words before going back to their respective locations to their children.

Back to the snowy mountains:

Icigoneal flies back in the cave and looks down on the sleeping sueong. While looking at sueong, he recalls the good times they had with each other, and it was fun.

The dragon sighs, shedding a frozen tear, before performing the Dragon slayer secret art to enter the Dragon Slayer's body, finally entering inside Sueong's body, early in the morning/July 7, X777.

"Thanks for everything, Sueong." He says his finals words before disappearing.

In the morning:

Sueong wakes up and yawns, stretching his arms and rubbing his eyes, "Good morning-" He looks to see that Icigoneal isn't there, which confuses him, "That's strange, usually he's always here when I wake up." He gets up, "What could he be up too?"

He searches the lower parts of the cave, but he isn't there, "Now here, where could he be?"

He then leaves the cave and search's around the snowy mountains, but he is nowhere to be seen, "Dad! Where are you?!" He then yells, "Icigoneal!"

After searching for a couple of hours, He slowly returns back to the cave, in a depressed stated, "There's, no way he abandoned me..."

He sighs, all depressed before packing his things.

"Guess I'll just have to leave this place and search for him at every corner, even if it's the world." Sueong is now determined before leaving the cave and out on the snowfield.
