Love Notes
Kyo headed for the kitchen. It was early in the morning and he was the first to get up. Tohru was still asleep and he did not wanted to wake her up. He had to go to the dojo early to help preparing for a competition that was being organized by the region.
Kyo and Tohru lived together for six months. Usually, she was up before him and she always made lunch for him and write him a love note. She wished him a good day at his work, she told him that she loved him and that she could not wait to see him in the evening.
This time, Kyo wanted to prepare her lunch and make her happy. Of course, he was not as good as her at cooking and writing love notes was unlike him. But for Tohru, he wanted to take great care and make an effort. He wanted her to feel special and loved, like he felt special and loved every time he ate her cooking and read the note she wrote him.
He carefully wrapped the bento and put it on the table. He went upstairs to their bedroom and kissed Tohru. He smiled. She had not moved, sleeping soundly. He kissed her one last time and went to the dojo. He hoped his lunch and his note would brighten up her day, as she brightened his.

It was lunchtime. Tohru opened the bento that Kyo had cooked for her. She had been pleasantly surprised when she found her lunch waiting for her on the kitchen table. She sat down at a table and read the note Kyo had written to her.
'I hope this bento brightens your day, as your presence brightens up my life. I love you, Kyo.'
Tohru smiled and hugged the note to her chest. Every day she loved Kyo a little more and every day her life was more beautiful thanks to him.
