The Ninja, The War, and the Mandalorian.

I don't own either Star Wars or Naruto. Just THIS story.

Prologue

Mando watched Grogu and the Jedi leave the ship. He felt empty. The place he had called 'home' was gone, and he had no mission.

" What now?"
He vaguely heard Cara say. He put his helm back on and sighed.

" That I don't know yet."

The others murmured to themselves but he had lied. He knew exactly what he wanted to do now. He wanted to settle down, live his life free from constant battle. He didn't know where but he'd find a quiet place. He and his group parted ways on Tatooine, Mando got a new ship and the rest returned to their homes or next missions. He had a planet in mind. Completely unknown, inhabited, protected, and peaceful.

Chapter one

Aiko Kurokawa POV

I opened my eyes to the dark shadow of my blindfold the fresh morning air's scent waking me up. My twin brother Okia slept soundly randomly murmuring Ramen and Himawari-chan in his sleep. I swear he spends too much time around Naruto-San and Boruto-Kun. Our father had agreed to send us here thinking it was a 'summer camp' but it was truly the hidden leaf village where Okia and I trained as a genin. Well, he was still a genin I had passed the Chunin exam three years ago and was granted Jonin rank a year ago. I was often overlooked but it felt good to be acknowledged by a few friends. Yet those few friends still knew me only as Odd and my brother only encouraged that rather irritating nickname. Our father was not from here, the way he talked solely his own. Our mother was one of the Hyuga yet considered a shame. She had never unlocked the Byakugan though she oftentimes scorned the overrated need for a kekkei Genkai. My father had no idea what wars we had gone through and still considered my brother and me as small children. He watched us carefully, like if we were going to die any second. Though in his defense, it was a high possibility that he didn't quite know. We had constant danger and humor in our half-lives. I started to pack my bags. The summer was almost over, we would return home tonight. My brother snorted in his sleep before jolting awake screaming,

" NOOO RAMEN!"

I looked at him incredulously and he blinked before grinning sheepishly.

" Seriously, Ramen?"

He started to laugh like an idiot. Seriously he had way too much quality time with Boruto and Naruto. I slapped his head and he fell off the bunk. He started to pack his neon green duffel bag with a bright yellow smiley face on it when he realized something.

" AAAAH! MY RAMEN COUPONs!"

I stared at him in disgust. Seriously? Wow. I mean honestly I was expecting him to be an idiot today like always but seriously? TODAY the very day we have to leave for home, he has to lose his precious ramen coupons. I wisely decide not to say anything, when it comes to ramen or ramen coupons, Okia becomes like Golem from the lord of the rings. I also didn't bother telling him about the bag he shoved them in that just happened to be sitting right next to him on the shelf.

" Nē! Baka, hayaku before I leave you behind!"

He looked up at me and squinted in an irritating fashion.

" Mō wakatta! Just let me find my Ramen coupons!"

I felt a vein bulge in my forehead.

" BAKA! Can you not literally see them on the shelf RIGHT NEXT TO YOU?"

" Eh?"

He looked around like an idiot before spotting the coupons.

" Ah...Heh heh.. I knew that…"

" OUT!TADAIMA!"

I barked at him. He trudged out of our summer apartment and I slammed the door behind him. As I finished packing I saw our headbands hanging on the bathroom doorknob and a rather queer feeling overcame me. Before I knew it I had neatly folded the headbands and packed them in the secret compartment of my suitcase. I felt comforted knowing that they were tucked between our ninja supply packs and extra medical supplies. Something was going to happen…
