CHAPTER 1: THE RED CYCLOPS. (I don't own dc injustice or Warhammer 40k)
Magnus the Red's body ached as his bones creaked. He had been trying to open a portal into the WebWay to warn the God emperor his father of Horus Lupercal and his betrayal. Magnus sighed as he slowly got to his feet and opened his eye. "Hmmm…Damn!" he cursed as he was nowhere near Terra and Horus and the traitors were probably besieging the planet by now. And now he was on some unknown godforsaken backwater rock with no knowledge where he was. He suddenly made it to his feet and started digging at the ground until he found his trusty glaive and books.
"Ah. At least I brought something with me." He said with a hopeful grin on his face. He then started to go on a small walk to get a view of where he was. He then realised how beautiful this world was: Its flora and fauna flourishing as he slowly walked through a forest and into a large grassy plain. However, as he slowly was trudging through the countryside, he saw what looked like a primitive city or fortress. He smiled as he knew he could ask someone where he was and where yada yada yada you get the point.
He suddenly walked up to the walls of the city and called, "Hello? I uh I'm a bit lost so could you help me and tell me where I am, I mean no harm." And then a call of, 'OUTSIDER! A MAN TOO HERA GIVE US STRENGTH!" This completely confused Magnus but was interrupted when a hail of arrows flew towards him.
Now Magnus knew that arrows would do little but ping off his hide, but he may as well show these insolent fools who they are dealing with. Thrusting his glaive up, all the arrows stopped in mid-air before shattering like a glass. The attackers looked in horror as their weapons did nothing, so they prepared for close combat. Magnus sniggered. This should be fun.
He leapt forward glaive thirsty for blood, into the charging warrior women. Within 5 seconds he had cleaved 8 to bloody chunks, and for the rest he just muttered some well-chosen words as a blue explosion tore apart the soldiers. , "WHATS GOING ON? I SAID I MEANT NO HARM." and a surviving soldier said, "No man set's foot on paradise island you have desecrated the will of Hera and Artemis you will be destroyed for the will of the gods." Magnus turned fury burning in his one eye. Before he walked over and whispered with shock, "What did you say?" and the soldier said again, "You have desecrated the will of Artemis and Hera the most noble of the gods." Magnus walked over and picked up the woman before saying, "There. Are. No. Gods." Before he finished her off.
Magnus was furious, in fact that was an understatement he was livid. These women not only had attacked him for being a man, but they also worshiped false gods. He would enlighten them or destroy them. He then saw the city again he prepared himself. This was going to be a long day.
