In Konoha it was a nice day as Naruto was running towards their next mission which was to clean the Higurashi shrine. "Slow down you baka why are you even excited for?!" Sakura demanded glaring at him making Naruto grin at her. "I'm excited because we have a new mission." Naruto tells her excitedly making Sasuke roll his eyes. "We're just cleaning a shrine dobe." Sasuke tells him making Naruto glare at him and stick his tongue out at him while Kakashi tries to calm everyone down as they finally arrived at the Higurashi shrine.

When they got there they find an old man whom was a priest look at the gennin squad and automatically recognizes Naruto. "Ah Naruto good to see you Souta has been missing you like crazy." He greeted the blond haired teen making everyone turn to Naruto shocked to know that their old client knows Naruto.

Naruto chuckles and rubs the back of his head in a sheepish manner. "Yeah sorry I've been kind of busy lately, anyways it's good to see you again old man." Naruto greeted him warmly as Souta comes outside and runs towards Naruto and hugs him. "Nii San!" He says happily as Naruto hugs him back making his teammates even more confused.

They then began to clean the shrine and Naruto tells them that he was good friends with the Higurashi family and he would used to come visit all the time when he was in the academy before he became a ninja but after he graduated he's been so busy that he had been having a hard time finding time to visit which was one of the reasons why he was so excited for this mission since he was looking forward to seeing them again.

They now understood why the blond was looking forward to the mission as they cleaned they went into one room where the sound of something scratching can be heard from a closed up well. "What's that noise?" Naruto asked to his teammates as Sakura latches onto Sasuke's arm. "I'm scared Sasuke Kun you'll protect me right?" She asked him as they looked around the noises got more loud as Naruto held a broom in his hands and stood by the well it opened up as arms comes behind him and grabs and begins to drag him down.

When his teammates saw this they run towards him and found him being dragged deeper into the well. While being dragged down Naruto struggles in the grip of a strange woman whom had a centipede like body which was starting to reform. "Alive again! Yes my body is reforming! You have it don't you? Give it to me!" Mistress Centipede says to the 13 year old boy whom she was holding hostage while she licks his face with her long tongue freaking out the orange jumpsuit wearing blond ninja out.

"Eww knock it off!" Naruto yells at her and pushes her away as a strange blast of energy appears from his hand blasting off one of her many arms and making her let go of him. She scowls while she glares at the boy. "I will have it! I must have the jewel!" She yells out making Naruto confused not knowing what she was talking about as he finally reaches the bottom of said well. "Okay I'm completely freaked out now." Naruto says as he looks around and automatically begins to try to climb out of said well.

When he got out he was shocked to see that he was now in the middle of the forest instead of back at the shrine. "That's weird, why am I out in the middle of the forest?" He asked himself and automatically began to look around until he spots a large tree in the distance and his eyes lights up recognizing it from the same tree from the shrine and automatically begins to run towards it but when he arrived he was shocked to see that the shrine wasn't there but also that a strange boy whom was older than attached to the tree with an arrow going through him.

Naruto tilts his head while staring at the strange boy wondering if he was dead or asleep as he goes over to him and saw that he wore a red kimono with a red hakama pants and he was bare foot with claws on his hands and feet and that he also had long silver hair and what drew Naruto to him even more was that he had fluffy looking dog ears on top of his head. Naruto was mesmerized by the ears and automatically begins to touch them but while doing so some arrows were shot at him.

"What the heck?!" Naruto yells out in shock wondering what else could happen with his crazy day as some men appears carrying the bows and arrows. The next thing Naruto knew was that he was tied up in the middle of the village making him feel very confused as people were staring at him strangely giving him odd looks. "Why do they keep staring at me like that? And what's going on...people don't dress up like they are dressed right now anymore...what the heck is going on?" Naruto thinks to himself not knowing whatever or not if this was some messed up dream he was having.

But then an old woman approaches him wearing what looked like shrine maiden clothes and was wearing an eyepatch as she then throws some kind of strange powder at him. "Demon be gone!" She yells out making Naruto look at her strangely. "What are you talking about?! I'm not a demon also where the heck am I?!" Naruto asked her. "Ye is saying he is not a demon?" She asked him making Naruto tilt his head he wasn't a demon at all but he did had a demon sealed away inside him but he figured saying something like that right now wouldn't help his situation. "No I'm not a demon I don't even know why I'm here or how I even got here! One moment I'm at the shrine helping clean it up and the next thing I know some creepy centipede woman drags me down a well and I somehow ended up here." Naruto explains to her while Kaede kept staring at Naruto.

She could sense something inside him something that felt familiar, she approaches him and grabs his chin and observed him. "Can it be?" She thinks to herself. "It's there but I'm not sure why." She says making Naruto confused wondering what she was talking about. A few moments later Naruto was sitting in Kaede's home rubbing his wrists which were once was tied as Kaede offered him some miso soup making him smile. "Oh thank you." Naruto says to her and begins to eat while he does this Kaede continue to think.

"I sensed it I don't know why but for some reason I sensed the presence of the jewel of the four souls inside this boy plus when I saw him I felt a familiar presence inside him I had felt before, can it be though? This boy may he be the reincarnation of my dear sister? He may not look like her but I can sense her soul inside him. There's no mistaking it." Kaede thinks to herself.

After Naruto was done eating Kaede was about to explain some things to him when they both heard screaming from outside making them both go out and find that Mistress Centipede was terrorizing the village. "There you are you little brat give it to me!" She yells at him as Naruto looked freaked out even more. "I don't know what you're talking about!" Naruto yells at her making Kaede turn right Naruto. "Naruto you must run now!" She tells him as Naruto nods his head and begins to run back towards Inuyasha Forest while she and the other villagers holds the demon off which soon able to slip away and managed to continue her pursuit after Naruto.

But while Naruto ran Inuyasha woke up and smirked. "I smell it the blood of the woman whom killed me." He says and tries to remove the arrow but couldn't as Naruto was getting closer to the tree not knowing that a certain hanyo was now awake.
