A Miraculous Life
It was 9:00 am at Los Angeles International Airport. There was a 15 year old black haired boy with a travel duffel bag strapped to his shoulder waiting for someone. This is Johnny Aiko, a big time Nerd on all things video games, movies and superheroes but most of all, the Power Rangers. He was waiting for his 4 other friends who planned to meet up with Johnny to go to Paris, France for the Paris Comic-Con. They were looking forward to this trip since neither of them have been to France before but luckily, they all learned how to speak french back in school. Johnny was texting his friends wondering where they are because their flight was at 9:45.
"Come on guys, where are ya?" Johnny said to himself while looking at the time on his phone. He understood that there is always airport traffic but they all said they were gonna get there separately before 9:10. He was about to make a call when he heard a voice coming from the automatic doors. "Hey Johnny!" the voice exclaimed. He turned to see 4 other boys around his age were waving at them with their own travel bags with them. They were Ben Abtal, Jason Wolfheart, Mark Dragonius and Sam Conley. These 5 have been close friends for a long time while Johnny and Ben have been best friends since elementary school. Johnny walked up to him with relieved sighs.
"There you guys are! I was getting concerned that you guys were gonna be late" Johnny said while giving high fives to Jason, Mark and Sam while giving a bro hug to Ben. "Sorry man, our Uber driver was having some trouble getting up to departure".
"Yeah, so we just said to just drop us off the minute he gets close" Jason added in.
"He did, but we said 'you're getting a low rating'" Mark said.
"Then we just left his car with our bags, not even bothering to say bye" Sam said.
"Sounds harsh but hey you guys were in a hurry. So no worries" Johnny said.
"Right, now who is excited to Comic-Con but in Paris?" Ben asked.
"Oui Oui!" everyone said yes in French.
"Then let's get going, we have got a plane to catch" Johnny said.
"Yeah!" the others exclaimed.
The boys then walked over to the security check-in to get their duffel bags scanned, Johnny's duffel bag is revealed to have all of the Ninja Power Stars, Morphers and weapons from Ninja Steel/Ninja Super Steel, plus some Nin Shuriken from their sentai counterpart since he always thought some of them looked awesome and always thought id they were adapted too. It also has figures of the Ninja Steel Rangers in their training outfits, with Johnny's change of clothes, toiletries and electronics. Ben's duffel bag contains a Samuraizer and Samurai morpher, all the spin discs and weaponry, with the Black Box and figures showing all the Samurai Rangers in their training uniforms even all his clothes, electronics and toiletries. Jason's contains all the Morphers of the Ninja Storm Rangers, including the Power Discs and weapons, even included The Ninja Storm Rangers's academy uniforms that belonged to the Wind and Thunder Academies plus Cam's Samurai uniform and all of Jason's clothes. Mark's contains all the Mighty Morphin Ninja Power coins and of course Mark's belongings and finally Sam's bag contains all the Alien Ranger Coins and his belongings. They all were able to get their bags through the scanner no problem.
After making it through security, they decided to stop at a McDonalds to get some breakfast before heading to their gate. They were eating McMuffins and Hash Browns while drinking some water. After a quick and small breakfast, they headed to their gate to board their plane and it was perfect timing, the boarding process has begun. A couple minutes later, the boys have boarded the plane as well. After putting their bags under their seats they were ready for their long flight.
"Ok guys, ready to go to Paris?" Johnny asked his friends.
"Oui Oui!" Ben and the others replied in french.
"Then let's sit back and relax, we got a long journey ahead of us" Johnny replied while putting his hands behind his head.
11 Hours, 40 minutes later...
The plane finally arrived in Paris, France at the Charles de Gaulle airport. It was already the next day, because of the time change. The boys walked out of the gate with their duffle bags, feeling tired, hungry and ready to experience Paris Comic-Con. They made their way to the outside of the airport to catch a shuttle to the Hyatt Paris Madeleine as a place to stay for the trip.
After a while, they arrived at the Hyatt and checked themselves in. After making their way to their rooms and setting their stuff down. They then made their way to the Grande halle de la Villette, site of the Paris Comic-Con. They got off full of excitement and determination.
"This is it guys, Paris Comic-Con. Let's do this" Johnny said to his friends.
"Yeah" The others exclaimed. They then walked inside the building and began day 1 of their Paris Comic-Con trip.
Once inside they began walking around checking out the stands. They saw some pretty awesome stands full of Power Ranger stuff. They all went to it and was in awe of what they saw, Johnny found 3 Ninja Storm Power Discs, One Red, One Blue and a Yellow with a Wind Ranger Morpher. He also found a set Mighty Morphin Ninja Coins and decided to buy them all. Ben found an extra Thunder Morpher with both Crimson and Navy Power Discs from Ninja Storm, also there another set of Ninja Power Coins and two Ninja Power Stars, a Red one and a Green Nin Shuriken. Jason found a Samuraizer, but it looked custom colored like dark red. He also found another Red Ninja Power Star from Ninja Steel, he was kinda surprised there was more Ninja Steel and Mighty Morphin stuff than usual. Mark found yet another Red Ninja Power Star and what looked like another set of Ninja Coins and a Samuraizer but it looked custom-colored as white with some orange on it. He must've figured that whoever made this probably thought on uncommon colors. Finally Sam found a custom made Green Dragon Ninja Costume with the Dragonzord Coin on the front. He also found a 5th Red Power Star, making him wonder why out of all places, was there a stand with 4 Red Ninja Power Stars. Also after the boys made their purchases, they noticed there were a lot of cosplayers of Ladybug and Cat Noir, two french superheroes from the Miraculous TV show.
After a while, they got themselves some food, french style pizza with some croissants. They enjoyed a taste of France on day 1 of their trip. They were enjoying it but now getting very confused, most of the cosplayers are all Ladybug, Cat Noir or any of other Miraculous heroes from the show. After a couple more hours they did a little more looking around. They found a stand full of accessories and costumes, Johnny found himself a Ninja Suit, Ben found himself a Black mask, Jason found himself a black ski mask and a black trench coat, Mark found himself some kind of Dragon Ninja mask kinda like Ninja Gaiden and Sam found himself a ski mask with some Goggles for snowboarding that are blue shaded.
It was close to 6 pm, and the boys decided to start heading back to their hotel with their new stuff in hand. They actually had a good first day of their trip and enjoyed every hour of the shopping, and of course the cosplayers. They got back to their hotel room and put their stuff inside the duffel bag for safe keeping and just leaned near the window.
"Man, what a day. A lot of shopping and cosplaying" Johnny said.
"I agree with you brother" Ben replied.
"Yea, but what struck me is that there were so many Ladybug and Cat Noir cosplayers then anybody else" Jason said.
"Yea, you're right dude. I guess maybe in France there are dedicated Ladybug and Cat Noir fans since that show takes place in Paris" Mark replies.
"You may have a point, hey guys look." Sam replied and pointed at the starry night sky.
"That's a wishing star, who should make a wish?" Ben replied and asked his friends.
"I'll do it guys, is that ok?" Johnny suggested.
"Sure buddy" Jason replied.
"All yours man, you got use here, you do the honors" Mark replied and Sam nodded with a smile.
"Ok guys, I wish that were heroes like our favorite Power Rangers" Johnny said and turned to the night sky, closed his eyes and made the wish. Then the star twinkled and a light enveloped them all, teleporting them away out of their hotel room. Then the room was completely empty, no bags, no boys.
Paris, France...?
The boys woke up and found themselves in a alleyway in Paris. They were groaning while holding their heads and slowly getting up after feeling woozy.
"Ohh man, hey guys you ok?" Johnny asked his friends.
"Yeah buddy, we're ok" Ben spoke for the rest of them.
"Yep, hey John-o, whats that paper on your bag?" Jason asked his friend while pointing to his bag.
"It's a note" Johnny replied.
"Read it buddy" Mark said.
"It says, 'Congratulations your wish has been granted. As a result you have been sent to a new world full of superheroes and you will be part of them as Power Rangers. You'll find all that Ranger merchandise inside your bags have been given real power, allowing you to access the powers of your favorite Power Rangers, gaining a strong connection to the Morphing Grid. Also, don't worry about a place to live, there will be a house for you all to live and serve as your command center. Also you will be enrolled in Françoise Dupont High School as new students. Good luck Rangers and may the Power protect you'".
"So it's serious, we are now Power Rangers?" Ben questioned.
"Let's find out" Jason replied but before any of them can do anything they heard a crowd screaming and a roar. They ran out to find a big rock creature holding 2 girls and taking him somewhere.
"Ohh man are those 3...?" Ben questioned.
"Yep, they are Mylene Haprele and Chloe Bourgeois and that rock monster is the super villain Stoneheart or Ivan Bruel. Which means we are in the world of" Johnny answered before stopping.
"Ladybug and Cat Noir!" they all said at the same time.
AND THATS A WRAP FOR THIS DEBUT CHAPTER! I PROMISE THEY WILL HAVE THEIR DEBUT FIGHT AGAINST STONEHEART NEXT CHAPTER AND MEET LADYBUG AND CAT NOIR BEFORE SETTLING IN THEIR NEW LIVES. UNTIL THEN...
